0.32km from downtownJust came back from staying for a few days. The hotel is located close to beach and the marina. The rooftop pool area was nice, lots of beds and although the bar was closed because of the month we stayed I can imagine it would be lovely up there to have a few drinks before you go out. The hotel was spotless! I mean most 3-4 star self catering apartments you visit abroad are a bit 'worn' and sometimes a bit tady but the whole hotel was really clean and tidy. The staff were amazing and always greeted you with a smile and always there to help. We had a really good time and would definitely recommend. Thank you to all the staff at the Duquesa Playa for welcoming us and having a wonderful holiday. Steven & Alex.
0.4km from downtown3rd visit this year tells it's own tale. Esther and Barbara at reception gave us a great welcome as did Raul, at the bar who even remembered our names ! The staff here are truly first class. I have written before about the qualities of the hotel, and what a wonderful resort Santa Eulalia is. I do have one small concern regarding the dining arrangements this time around. The hotel has a small terrace for outdoor dining which we like to use in good weather. On our penultimate morning, the waitresses had blocked the entrance and had not laid the tables. My wife and I nevertheless squeezed through, and along with several other guests ate our breakfast outside. In the evening, however, the staff made a much more concerted effort to stop guests from eating outside even though it was a lovely 23 degrees. My wife was certain that this was done because the restaurant was short staffed and that by closing the patio the remaining waitresses would be under less pressure. Whilst I have every sympathy for the extremely hard working staff, I do feel that this was quite poor from them, as the prime function of the hotel is to meet the needs of the customers not to reduce pressure on the staff. If staffing levels were in fact the issue, then this needs to be managed by the hotel. This irritant did not ruin the holiday by any means and certainly will not stop us from returning to this lovely hotel which we recommend very highly.
0.45km from downtownMy wife and I have just returned after spending a week at the Hostal Santa Eulalia. The Hostal is located right on the busy main road through the town so expect it to be quite noisy most of the time. The staff here are friendly and the bar serving food and drink is good. My comments about our room are based on the penthouse which we occupied on the Fourth floor right at the top of the building. There is no lift in the Hostal so if you have problems with Four flights of stairs do not book the Penthouse. The penthouse apartment is very spacious and could easily cater for 6 adults there are 2 large double bedrooms, 1 small bedroom, huge living room and kitchen, 2 bathrooms and a spare room. It has air con in most rooms and several small balconies. As with a lot of Spanish apartments there is no kettle in the kitchen. The decor is comfortable and tiled throughout. While being comfortable at the time of our visit this apartment has clearly not been finished for this season. Beware, there are 1 or 2 sockets exposed Idid not put my finger in to see whether they were live but this is a clear safety hazard that needs to be put right immediately particularly if a child was present. Lights have been broken and not replaced. One of the bedroom doors has a huge crack in it and should be replaced immediately before the glass shatters. The shower rail in bathroom 2 is broken making it impossible not to spray water on to the floor. The kitchen looks out to an area where the boilers and air con power units sit right on top of the building. These will be screened by some wicker panels that were left rolled up in the kitchen throughout the entirety of our stay. The staircase immediately outside the apartment had building materials, cleaning materials and a step ladder left there for the whole week, these could easily cause an access problem and at worse an accident through somebody tripping over them. Building works had obviously been going on before hand on top as the apartment was covered in dust that just had not been cleaned. and ask for clean towels because the cleaner will not bother to come up to the Fourth floor to give you them. The people responsible for this apartment need to prioritise these points very quickly so if you are looking to book this apartment bare these things in mind.

0.53km from downtownReturning to the Riomar after 15 Years, It has not changed a bit. The staff are all so friendly, especially Lola the Restaurant manager! Breakfast is excellent with a good choice, and evening meals are also excellent. Always something for everyone's taste. We upgraded to a superior Sea View Room, and was not disappointed. The hotel is always being cleaned somewhere, they never stop! I really hope to return next year and hope all the Rumours going around are not true, about being sold or leased! This is a real Gem of a Hotel with lovely staff, and a great location. Please don't change a thing, so many people who we talked to have been coming back to this Hotel for over 30 years!
0.62km from downtownThis was my wife and I’s second visit to this hotel and third time to Santa Eulalia/Eularia. The hotel is in a good location opposite the boat yard leading along the promenade to the marina, port and beach. Ferries go from the port to Es Cana and Ibiza town every hour. You might want to go to the Hippie market is Es Cana on Wednesdays. The hotel is worth four star for rooms, cleanliness and food. The food was excellent in the morning and evening. Breakfast for me was great as they had all fresh fruit melons, pineapple, grapefruit etc. a full English and tomato juice which I love. Plenty of choice for evening meal and hot plates and food. The problem we had was some of the other guests. There was a wedding party of 40 in the hotel that came back at 05:30 hrs in the morning shouting and laughing and guess what they were in the next room. I had a word with reception and was told they were checking out that day. A family with a baby moved in and every hour the baby would cry for half an hour at a time all through the night. On the Saturday there was loud music coming from the hotel opposite till 2am as it was a Bank Holiday. That is not the fault of the hotel just bad timing. The reception staff are pleasant unlike the two elderly waiters in the restaurant, don't expect a smile. The head waiter and the waitresses were pleasant. The first visit to this hotel we had a room and the front and all O.K. this time the room was at the back overlooking scrubland. I got eaten alive by mosies even with repellent and a bug killer in the room, so be aware. Would we return, no! as we will not be returning to Ibiza again as we have many other places to see.
0.71km from downtownIt was July 2020 when the hotel has reopened. Upon arrival again nobody was standing outside to pick up our luggage. This was done inside the hotel. Check-In was normal. But none has informed us that there are no more written informations inside the rooom. You need to scan an QR&Barcode. But there are 4-5 Scans necessary! Why is it not possible to put all in one? Again we met the hotel Manager, Mr. Nestor Tur Ribas, who has given us an upgrade to a Suite, room 1417. Thank you very much for this upgrade, icluding whirlpool on the terrace with wonderful outlook over the plot, pool and sea. Of course you should apply for the use of this whirlpool to get it prepared. To be honest we have not used it. Inside the room in the bathroom was also a whirlpool what we have used. The bathroom has an unknown light system. In other hotels there is switcher, but not in this room. In this room you can switch on the light with a string. This is opposite to other hotels where it is to be used for an emergency call. In the room we also found a bottle of cold Spumante and some Petit Fours. What again we have missed was a bottle of complimentary mineral water. But here it is the hotel philosophy that you should pay for each bottle. We have booked half board. At the first evening there were only 2 other guests except us to be seen. The offers were reduced comparing the year before. Now you need to wear face masks and the cook will prepare it upon your wish. What a pity that the Junior cook has problems with understanding and speaking English. That has lead to several misunderstandings and poor results including bad preparations. To finish the story about the buffet restaurant: Our last evening, July, 30st, the offers again were massive reduced. For breakfast I have received sugar-milk for my coffee! After my complaint the waiter brought me milk from the coffee machine. The taste was also more than poor. The next morning I spoke to our perfect waitress, Marisa. She said " of course we serve sugar free milk: "Asturiana Grancreme"! Why wasn't this served automatically? The same experience we have had at the Pool Bar. The knowledge and quality of service is very different. From poor to good is the result! Wine offers: After ordering a wine in the restaurant it was out of stock. The staff always have given us wrong informations when our wine would be in stock again. This was the same at the Pool Bar: First it was said, that the wine is out of stock. 10 minutes later it was in stock! We got informed that 3 days later again the hotel has closed. My subjective rating: Check-In: 3 points Room 1417: 4 points Cleanliness: 4 points Service: 2-5 points Wine offers: 3 points Value for money: 3 point Preparation of meals: 3-4 points Check-out: 3 points
0.82km from downtownI’m not sure what to think about this hotel. Let me start with the positive things: the hotel is in a very nice area, the rooms are large and all offer sea views, and they have the largest bed I’ve ever seen in a hotel! The hotel itself has two swimming pools with nicely manicured gardens, and the rooftop pool has very nice views over the sea. Staff in general is friendly too! However, we expected more of the hotel considering all the excellent reviews we had seen. When we arrived, we found the hotel only has 5 (!) parking spaces which are shared with its sister hotel Ses Estaques. The nice receptionist indicated it was no problem to leave the car on the hotel premises for that night, and advised us for the next nights to park on the street behind the hotel. The next morning we had a paper on the windshield indicating we should not have parked there. The following night, we tried to find a parking space in the street (as advised), only to find there was barely any parking space available - in the end we had to walk quite a distance to the hotel. For two hotels with together 200+ rooms, 5 parking spaces seems a bit.. Scarce? During one of the days we decided to chill by the rooftop pool. Only there we found there is no bar - there is a phone which you can use to order drinks from the pool bar on ground level. That works, but in the afternoon (16h) there is no food menu at all. You can’t even order a small snack. Moreover, we were told we were not allowed either to order some food via JustEat - the only option was to walk downstairs, look at a menu of a local restaurant which they have connections with (their own restaurant was also closed) and order there. No thanks. In addition, there was no music at all at the pool, which might appeal to some guests - we missed it a little. The breakfast is okay. They offer a good selection of different cheeses, meats, a bread selection, fruits etc. Eggs can also be prepared to your liking which is very nice, and also here, the staff is excellent! If you want a coffee, ask specifically for a Nespresso though - they have Nespresso machines which are fine, but the coffee/espresso coming from the “normal” machine (which you get if you don’t specify what you want) is not the best - to put it mildly. Finally, we were a bit surprised by the reservation policies. Catalonia claims they always offer the lowest rate on their site if you join their Rewards program. Being a member of this program also offers a free upgrade. I did join the program for this, only to find that Agoda (and several other OTA’s) offered the same room for EUR 150 less (6 night stay) than their “special rewards rate”. I sent an e-mail to the Catalonia reservation department and the hotel itself to ask if they could match the rate (which they should be able to considering the commission they pay any OTA). The reservation department answered by saying “We have the lowest rate. If you book via Agoda we cannot fully guarantee your reservation. The

0.86km from downtownJust finished a week stay here as a couple. Amazing roof top pool and lovely staff! Well equipped gym and tasty (albeit over priced) food. Enjoyed a different cocktail every day! House keeping gave us new water every day which was handy. Room had amazing view (cloud 9 suite sea view) however I do think the room was a bit dated and had marks on the ceiling and floor so could do with some redecorating. The premier room decor looks a lot nicer but is smaller. Breakfast was lovely - though the service you got did alter each day. Due to COVID some meals you ordered and then you had to go get your own tea bag/ bakery/ butter / bacon etc, which is completely fine - but some staff did this for guests and not for others so wasn’t entirely equal treatment. I recommend their restaurant maymanta for dinner, great Peruvian tapas with great view - the staff though did not seem 5 star and not very organised with each other so don’t go if you’re expecting fine dining. Overall give it 4 stars, as lovely as it was I’ve been to 5 star hotels which pay much more attention to detail for the same price especially for the room. Would still come back as Ibiza is a fab place, and the roof top pool is 10/10.

0.98km from downtownWe booked the Presidential Suite through the hotel website as you can't book this room through a travel agent, also free transfers to and from the airport are available to those who book their stay directly. This is a fab little hotel with a good standard of decor and cleanliness throughout. Can't really comment on the pool area because the Presidential Suite has a large comfy sun lounger bed and jacuzzi so we spent our days up there. The room itself was a decent size with a fab walk in shower as well as a bath tub, 2 sinks and a decent amount of storage space as well as a mini bar, the mini bar had a few soft drinks and beers, the only downside is that after your first day it only gets restocked with 2 small bottles of water daily. The bed was huge and also very comfy. The view from our terrace was over looking the sea and absolutely beautiful. The food was of an ok standard and there was plenty to choose from, the restaurant has a very good table system where it has a card on it which you flip over to the red side so other guests know that table is occupied. The restaurant can get busy so it can take a while for someone to come and take your drinks order at lunch and evening meal times. At breakfast you help yourselves to tea, coffee, juice etc.. There is also 2 visits to the a la carte as part of your stay and I can honestly say these were the 2 best meals I had all holiday, it has a fair sized menu and had a few vegetarian options too, the a la carte meals are 3 courses so if you're like me and have a small appetite you may want to starve yourself before hand :) You can get some snacks like crisps and nuts at the bar but it's not obvious what they have. There are sandwiches and other snacks just outside too which is nice if you don't fancy a buffet meal. There's entertainment on every night, seemed quite good but would prefer it started at 9pm rather than 10pm. All in all this hotel was perfect for what we wanted, which was a cheap get away after a stressful summer and we would definitely return. I do have one suggestion though, and its not a negative comment at all but I do think there could be a few more perks to having the Presidential Suite, not asking for a butler or VIP treatment but having the mini bar refilled every day and a few more alcohol options in it. This is purely just a suggestion taken from previous holidays we've had before but if you're staying in the best room in the hotel you don't want to keep heading down to the bar.

Hotels Near Cafeteria Hostal Mayol In Ibiza Review
Amazing place, nothing was too much trouble for Maria. the view from the loft is beautiful, we used this room for our last day as we had a late fight home. The gate in the bottom apartment leads out onto a small beach which is a dog beach. We didnt mind this at all, but be warned if you are not a dog lover, there are dogs with their owners all day. Another thing to bear in mind, the party boats drop anchor about 75m out to sea in front of the apartments - again not a problem for us being 40 somethings, we were first generation ravers, dance music playing all afternoon was more of a plus point!! But it is loud and would disturb you if this isnt your scene (why you in Ibiza town then?!😆) · No designated parking, but parking is free all around on the street, provided you can find a space...
We booked our stay from 6th to 10th of October last March, getting a super deal seeing how early we booked it. We got to the Hotel early on the 6th and they were super nice and gave us the room even though it was way earlier than check in time and when I told them that we were with other friends who were not there yet they upgraded us to a room closer to theirs. The room was in fact a little apartment, nicely furnished with a nice terrace overlooking the woods and the San Antonio Bay ( the latter at a distance, though). Breakfast was ok, the food was always fresh and the price ok if you are a morning eater, if you only crave a cup of coffee and a croissant is obviously expensive, but aren't all buffet expensive if you do not eat? The staff was super nice and helpful, some other friends who booked last minute (and paid a lot more than we did), and who needed to leave a day earlier were granted a discount. It was just the perfect place at the perfect price for a little Ibiza escapade.
We stayed here for one night the last weekend of October. We were greeted by very friendly staff at reception. Who gave us a glass of fruit juice. They stored our bags. Placed our wristbands on us and said we can enjoy the facilities and lunch would be served shortly. So despite getting there an hour or so before check in we were made to feel very welcome. The pool area was very busy. There were no sun beds in the sun available. We were impressed with how many drinks were included within ‘all inclusive’. Sadly the cocktails didn’t taste of much at all so I quickly went on to Disaronno and Diet Coke. Our room was very spacious. Lovely big bathroom with a bath. Our room was to the right of the hotel so our view was of the beach and part of the hotel next door. But this worked out well for us as it was so quiet. You can access the beach from the hotel. You walk down towards the pool and there’s a clear door to the right and some steps to walk down onto the promenade. The beach was empty so we chose to sunbathe there for the afternoon instead. The hotel is in a great location and everywhere is within walking distance. We managed to see a beautiful sunset that night right by the hotel. There was a variety of food for dinner and chefs cooked meats and pasta for you fresh in front of you. I preferred breakfast there was a huge selection and lots of cooked breakfast which I liked. Sadly all the sun beds were taken early the next morning so we chose to go for a long walk instead. I agree with other reviews that more sun beds are needed. It was busy enough when we visited. I can imagine in the heat of the summer it’s full there. We had a hire car and there is a few parking spaces down to the right of the hotel. Luckily there were spaces. We had a lovely stay and would definitely stay again when visiting San Antonio!
I had the pleasure of staying at Can Guillem for a week in spring and highly recommend it for a relaxing, authentic Ibizan country hotel. There are various accommodation options from separate casitas with their own gardens & hot tubs beside an idyllic rose garden as well as the main finca that’s been carefully restored. Staying in the main finca, I frequently woke to the smell of baked goods made by the family who were both endearing & very welcoming. Breakfast was an array of typical local produce from Ibizan homemade sausages & sobrasada, local preserves, fresh fruit, cereals & home baked breads & cakes. The grounds were extensive with olive groves gardens & pool. Dinner could be booked in advance if desired leaving you to explore the many gastronomic offerings in the local vicinity. The rooms in the main three hundred year old finca retained the charm of the original and restored Sabina wood ceilings and my room was spacious with a four poster bed separate dressing room, Juliet balcony & large private bathroom. Situated centrally within this place is recommended for those in need of a tranquil setting to relax in peace & privacy.
We stayed one week at Torre des Canonigo, off-season and with the unfortunate closing at 10pm of all bars and restaurants due to Covid. Nevertheless, thanks to the fantastic stay at this beautiful and exclusive hotel, our first visit to Ibiza turned out be excellent. There absolutely nothing to complain about. The overall look and design of the hotel is beautiful, the location in the old town have fantastic views, beds are so comfortable, the room and bathrooms perfect and spacious. But most of all, each person in the extremely helpful, friendly and efficient staff deserve all FIVE STARS. All requests and some minor incidents were quickly and smoothly taken care of. Next time we come, we would just love to have local made jam for breakfast and butter for breakfast. ;)
The service is super nice and the environment is beautiful. Very satisfied hotel.
The service of the hotel is very good, because it was my birthday and honeymoon to say hello in advance, the hotel specially arranged the room for us. The service attitude of the hotel staff was super good, and the staff at the front desk gave us a lot of travel suggestions. The hotel is directly close to the sea, and it is very close to the city center. The old town and the seaside are basically walkable. Other areas can rent a car and set off on their own. If you have any needs, you can ask the front desk. There aren't many taxis, but they all have strongholds, which are located near the downtown harbor.
Muchas gracias por ayudarnos y preparar todo para nosotros! El ambiente es perfecto y paisaje es guapísima! Pasamos luna de miel con Eurostar, era buena opinión. Los recepcionistas son muy amables y beneficios.
Where to start. Hotel was clean and tidy. Some staff members were helpful, some not so much (not even a smile from day one) food was average, got worse throughout the stay and most of the drinks pumps were off by the end of the week. One person on the bar serving only 2 drinks at a time pp which is a pain when one of you is keeping your table and queues min 20mins each time. I dread to think what it would be like in peak season. Struggled to get a sunbed everyday considering the hotel dont allow reserving sunbeds get there early to get a spot! Because of this we reserved one of the Balinese beds, the cheapest price is €28 including a bottle of bubbly, but dont be fooled it's not manned in any way, anyone and everyone was using them, but silly me paid for the privilege. Didnt notice until a couple of days after we got there, but where the hairdryer was fixed into the wall there was no cover on all the electrical wires luckily nothing came of it as I hardly used it. I didnt say anythin so un aware of any response I would get as looking back through reviews I dont think they would take too kindly and I certainly didnt want any blame. So the last day came. 12pm check out, kick out. Yes they held our luggage until 6pm. But the whole hotel went into lockdown. They provided water, nothing else. Shutting it down covering all windows with brown paper, it was dark cold and miserable. They wouldn't do a thing, there were older couples, young girls and boys, disabled who all were in the same boat who had no clue what to do and were very anxious with the situation. Had we known this was the case I wouldn't have booked this hotel as our flight wasnt til early hours the next morn. It was located in a nice place little walk down the road beautiful beach and bar.. carry on walking in towards the town more shops more bars/restaurants, but would I return to this hotel?? Absolutely not. Really disappointing. But also was a cheap getaway, so lesson learnt maybe?
A lovely hotel, perfectly geared up for families with young children. Our 3 year old son, Freddie, had the time of his life. He was excited about the evening Mini-Disco from the moment he woke up in the morning, until the moment he went to sleep. Lorenzo and the rest of the staff are very welcoming, very friendly and an absolute credit to this hotel. Lorenzo is particularly brilliant with the children (he runs the kids club), although I think he might have felt as though he had a stalker by the end of the week, as every single time Freddie saw him, he would wave and shout, "Hello Lorenzo!!!". But he always gave a wave and a smile back, even after the 100th time! The hotel all-inclusive food really is very good, with so many different options at every meal time. There was a daily choice of stew dish with a further choice of potatoes and veg options. Alternatively, there was a grill option, with a daily fish or meat option. On top of that a salad bar, breads, pickles, cheeses, fruit, cakes and other deserts. Or pasta, pizza, chips and nuggets for the less adventurous. I'm struggling to understand the reviews that say there was a lack of choice! The outside bar was fantastic too and the service from the staff was first-class. Estrella on tap, good wines, branded spirits, unlimited ice-creams and an all-inclusive cocktail menu (would usually cost about 7 Euros each)! The day-time snacks from the bar are a little basic, but very tasty. There's also one of two drinks machines here (the other near reception), where you can self-serve soft drinks/coffee/tea/juice etc. We booked a suite style room with a separate room/bed, in the newer part of the main hotel. I'd recommend these rooms as it gives you a lot more space and they have been recently renovated. The room wasn't spectacular, but very functional and clean, which is all you need. They also have Channels 1-5, CBeebies and a few more UK channels, which is useful when trying to get dressed with small children! The beach can get very busy, but is definitely worth a wander down to from the hotel (about 20 steps down to it). The sea is lovely, but careful of the jellyfish if you have a paddle! You can avoid the steps and the deepest sand by going down the hill and walking along a wooden walkway, a perfect place to view the spectacular sun-sets. There is a bar and restaurant on the beach too (with a cigarette machine for those interested). There is one shop in the local area, other than a very small, expensive shop as part of the beach restaurant/bar. It's a mini-market type shop, about a 10 minute walk up quite a steep hill (out of the main hotel door, turn left), which helped to work off all the food. There is little you will need to buy there that you can't get at the hotel, but they do sell small toys/souvenirs and pool accessories, amongst many other things. The bus stop for busses to San Antonio etc. is also around the back of this shop. It takes about 30 mins to San Antonio and co
Very good, great location, invincible sea view room, very beautiful, including breakfast, very delicious. The English at the front desk of the hotel is very good, no communication problems!
We stayed at the Mirador Dalt Vila on Friday, August 30th for my partner’s birthday. This was our first time in Ibiza. The Mirador hotel is located in a perfect location within old town Ibiza. The location is walking distance to restaurants, shops and the bustling night life of old town. The hotel offers spectacular panoramic views of the port, city and Ibiza’s beaches. The hotel offers complimentary airport shuttle service via a luxurious Mercedes Benz E class sedan. When we arrived at the hotel we were offered a glass of champagne and were warmly greeted by Stefania Penasa who checked us in and who surprised us with a fabulous upgrade to a one-bedroom corner suite in celebration of my partner’s birthday! The suite was stunning with French doors leading to three Juliet balconies offering forever Ibiza island views, high ceilings, Brazilian cherry hard wood floors, Persian rugs and beautiful millwork, including solid core pocket doors in the bedroom and bathroom! The bathroom was covered in floor-to-ceiling marble and had a dual vanity, jetted tub, waterfall shower and a separate water closet. The hotel also has a deep plunge swimming pool and sun deck with stone walls touching the historic Dalt Vila. Prior to our arrival, the hotel staff arranged dinner reservations at La Dispensa, which was approximately a 10 minute walk from the hotel and was a fabulous recommendation. The hotel also offers a complimentary full-service custom order breakfast in the morning. The Mirador hotel is a ‘shiny jewel’ that stands out amongst other luxury hotels. Overall, a five star experience packaged in a boutique hotel in a perfect location!
This trip was taken end of October 2018 - not 2019. Myself and my Mum needed a cheap, last min getaway and had never been to Ibiza! Set on a cliff edge with a trail the beautiful beach which is less than 5 mins... It's a dream. It's a little bay surrounded by a forest with a lovely beach and a little village, a few bars and restaurants as well as supermarkets- though being end of season not a lot was open. Not a long transfer, 25 mins maybe. Bar open late with decent drinks and has branded spirits as part of the all inc! Some cocktails included that aren't bad but of course the extra charge ones are much better! Had a buffet restaurant, Japanese restaurant and a Mediterranean restaurant to choose from - booking required for latter two. Buffet restaurant had great variety, loads of great salad and different hot food... Couldn't complain, beer good and wine was good too! Didn't use Japanese restaurant as it's not our thing but we did use the Mediterranean restaurant which is situated in a separate building just outside the hotel on the cliff edge. A menu is provided with a few different choices, 3 courses, food is good but could have been better... Can't beat location though! The staff make this hotel. The bar staff especially - A special shout out to Jacabo, Adrian, Alejandro, Eloy, Angela and Yusuf who are such amazing people and always made time to talk to us, help us with our Spanish and give us ideas on what to do or where to go! They worked such long hours and worked so hard yet always smiled, always chatted and had a laugh! They are a credit to the hotel. The room was clean and bright, big enough but just happened to be over the entrance to the building so sometimes heard deliveries arriving etc but it didn't bother us. My only quibble is that the lobby, stairwells and sometimes bar (as it is open plan and connected) had a very strong overpowering smell ALL the time... It was possibly a cleaning product as it definitely wasn't a dirty smell - but it was so sicky and strong that it made us feel sick and we had to cover our noses!! Pool area was lovely but didn't use it as it was far too cold being October ... Steep stairs down to different levels for sunbathing so not ideal for those not able... But beautiful views. The beach is perfect for swimming as it is a secluded bay so feels safe and great for snorkelling. Two beach bars which are great to sit at too and a jetty where a water taxi (small ferry) would come by every half hour or so to take people to Santa Eualilia, Ibiza town and Es Cana among other places. This was a highlight for me as it's so quick and easy! We went to Santa Eulalia by water taxi which was ten minutes and a gorgeous ride! Well worth the experience and not too terribly priced! Cala Llonga is further away from any main towns than we first thought... 40 mins easily to Ibiza town. Not alot going on is my only real quibble. We knew there wouldn't be as much going on as in high season but w
Very good, the service is also very good, the environment is also very good, the Flip is also very good, the room is very large, and it feels very good, and will stay here later. We 'll introduce our friends later.
My wife and I are no fan of and never book rooms at hostals but this hostal doesn't even look or feel like a hostal, it's more like a small cozy hotel! We loved our stay! The bathroom looked newly renovated, extremely clean and the shower was better than most I've used in Europe! The rest of the room and the patio were also clean and comfortable. The staff was very kind and helpful! My only complaint is that our room didn't have a safe and even though the room wasn't large (which is fine, we expected that), there was enough space in the room to fit even a small safe somewhere and it would have been appreciated, perhaps something they can consider for the future. Otherwise, we were very happy with our stay! :)
me and my husband stayed at this hotel with a another couple of friends of ours and we was blown away with the location it,was just perfect. from the minute you step on the beach ,its breathtaking. you can actually walk alomg playa den bossa beach to Ibiza town, takes about 40mins.the hotel staff were so friendly and happy.and everything was always super clean, Their beach restaurant had dailyDJs .so was nice to relax there in the afternoon.the breakfast had a hugh variety of everything, the deserts were to die for. we met few of the staff and would like to say thankyou to them for making our holiday esp..........Richard,Jesus,and Thomas. thanks guys and thank you GARBI see you all next year
Had five days here. Apartments where fine no problems at all. Spacious and clean. I would recommend this to stay in summer months for the younger crowd. Not for the people who want a relaxing time. Be warned there is no where to get a decent breakfast or meal. No choice at all. Expensive to eat rubbish. There is a Lidl turn right outside hotel walk down till you see steps to beach, walk along till you see big steps. Go up steps past 2 streets. Turn left and walk to you see McDonald’s. There is an Indian called Kathmandu it’s not bad. Ibiza town is left out of hotel walk up hill down to road go left under bridge, follow to the right. Ten mins walk. Worth it. Look out for jacks Irish bar worth a visit. Be warned watch where you are walking the paths are covered in dog mess.
we were recommended the tomahawk which is not even average. The only thing that you should order is the wagyu, but order more than you think. Portion is just enough for 2 people. It takes 40 minutes to get, so be aware you cannot add to your order unless you want to wait 40 minutes more. Waiters are very unprepared and inattentive they seem completely out of control. They will forget your requests, serve a wrong wine bottle which was supposed to go to another table, argue around your table for too long to understand what they did wrong then collect all your already served glasses and bring your wine to you 15 minutes later. Starters are just not interesting. View is nice but the smell of parilla will be too much to handle at a certain point and when the wind blows over toward your table. Table are impossibly in the dark you wont be able to see what you’re eating, and I like dark restaurants. Reception poor. They will leave you waiting without even sending you a waiter to get your drinks order.
Recently returned from an amazing holiday. Got the bus from the airport €3.60 I think and the number L10. You want stop Av Espanya. Get off the bus turn left then first right and the hotel is around 500m in front of you but the only thing, you have to go up around 120 steep steps then down another 120 which was difficult with a case. Or literally jump in a taxi at the airport for around €17. Once we checked in we had a wait whilst our room was ready 2pm. We had paid for a high up sea view and we weren't disappointed, what a view of the bay and its fabulous brand new promenade and decking. The hotel was spotless and the restaurant area was simply the most amazing spot for our breakfast in the sun. The breakfast was ok for what we paid and was mostly the same every day but for our 6 day stay it was manageable. My only criticism was sometimes the food was luke warm mainly the beans and scrambled egg but still tasty all the same. Location was spot on and if wanting the Old town fort etc the quickest way was directly right out of the hotel and follow the dirt track up the bank, keep going then either turn left through the snake tunnel for the town or right and up the bank for the amazing Fort and church. The views are stunning, we spent most of the day walking through the white washed narrow streets of the old town then eventually leading onto the new town and fabulous marina. You can also access the new town and shops if you head up and back down the 120 steps and turn right for the town. We found the old and new town busy during the days but on a night it was quiet and mainly people eating. We wanted music, bands and bars but unfortunately we were a bit late in the year for that. Figueretas was a lovely resort which has had a big development this year with a brand new promenade and decking footpath which was full of people walking and exercising all day. Plenty of restaurants along the front our favourite was Can Jasper see my review on here. A few bars scattered around but like I said a few closing down, the irish bar etc was closed so again no music or entertainment going on. I reckon in the busy months this area will be bouncing as lively resorts are only 10 min walk away and figueretas will obviously get the over spill. Back to the hotel, lovely and spotless throughout the Blavos restaurant was spotless we didn't eat in there but whished we had gone for the Half board option as I found the resort expensive especially €4-€4.50 for a pint of bog standard local ale. Hotels gym facilities is just to say adequate for a little work out while your away if that's your thing. I had a session on the free weights, machines although a little dated and a session on the spin bike as the wife had a soak in the indoor pool. We hired the mountain bikes for the day for only €15 per bike which was great for a cycle around the nearby resorts and had a few ale stop offs on the way. The one thing I couldn't work out about the hotel is Playasol when buying it p
It's nice and beautiful. The room is large and the breakfast is tasty. The hotel is next to the beach and is suitable for a holiday. There is a Spanish restaurant next to it offering delicious food, but it's a bit expensive.
Wow.very impressed by this place. It's about 10 mins in a taxi to ibiza old town and set in the countryside. Lovely clean room with air con and huge bed. Breakfast area had plenty fresh pastries, bread, coffee etc which were available through the day. The pool area was nice and clean and we were sometimes the only ones there! Great Balinese beds. We had a nice lunch with wine one day and they will serve drinks to you at the pool. There are mountain bikes available to borrow free so we cycled around the surrounding countryside which is beautiful. On departure day our taxi didnt turn up so the owner drove us to the airport! Not a lot of owners would do that and we were very grateful. Would absolutely recommend and I hope we will be back one day.
Would highly recommend this hotel...very friendly and welcoming staff, including at check-in when we decided last minute to upgrade to sea view room. I would advise booking a sea view if possible as the views out over the bay are beautiful, and we spent ages sitting out on the balcony each evening watching the little boats come in and out. The room was very clean and comfortable and the balcony was lovely. Breakfast was included and was very nice...not too busy and very relaxed unlike some hotels at breakfast. Plenty of sun beds around the pool and never crowded. The bar, pool table and table tennis were also great. Plenty of lovely little restaurants within walking distance, lovely little stroll all the way around the bay along the boardwalk accessed from the hotel’s beach. Easy access into Ibiza town too via the water taxi from the marina. Can’t fault the Argos and would definitely recommend.
We booked the Presidential Suite through the hotel website as you can't book this room through a travel agent, also free transfers to and from the airport are available to those who book their stay directly.
The breakfast is very rich, and the hotel is beautiful. There is an indoor small pool, bubble bath and sauna. I'd like to recommend the pizza in the hotel lobby bar, which is so delicious. It's in a good location, near the sea but there is no beach.
There are many restaurants next to it, and it’s close to the bar
It was July 2020 when the hotel has reopened.
We visited in the first week in September with another couple. We once again had a great time in this lovely hotel. It was our 7th visit. The rooms are a little dated but kept immaculate by the friendly cleaning staff. Food in the dining room is lovely, dinner has improved quality-wise since our last visit two years ago but I do think it was slightly at the expense of breakfast which was not quite as good as previous years. It's lovely to see the same faces on reception and in the bars and I have to say all the staff are friendly and helpful. I used the gym every morning and it was very hot but has enough equipment for a decent workout although the cross trainer was broken. One slight criticism is that the hotel don't respond to any TripAdvisor reviews which is unusual these days and rather impolite when guests have gone to all the trouble to write them. Management should reconsider this. Overall a wonderful hotel and we will definitely return when we can and would definitely recommend it to others.
My friends and I booked this hotel for our first Holliday and the owner couldn’t have been more helpful, we had great communication with him and he let us leave our stuff in a safe place on the last day. He gave us a number to call as he goes home which is only over the road or something during the night. Any time we had an issue which was once with our key we called and he helped straight away. There’s always someone around to help even when he goes home. It was incredible me and my friends loved it here the pool is spotless it’s a great location. THe rooms are huge and have gorgeous balconys, there’s air con and loads of space for cooking at in the flat - we didn’t but I’d definetly come back and do that. My only recommendation would be to learn a name of something near which is Moreno popular because taxis didn’t know where it was from the name ‘ apartmentos san antonio’. The Owner is lovely and its the best Holliday me and my friends have ever had. Thankyou so much for making us feel so safe and welcome and I’ll definitely be back. Email the hotel before you go so that you have an open communication with the owner and can get in touch with him about when you’re going to arrive then he’ll definitely be there. Don’t hesitate honestly couldn’t recommend this hotel more was so cheap and my friends who forked out had an awful experience. Thankyou again!
First off, my wife and I understand times are hard due to COVID and the Palladium Group had to take drastic measures to appease its customers by consolidating all to its biggest hotel, but for some, it was not appeasing. We originally booked the Palladium Palymar adult-only in San Antoni but were forced into this "five" star family hotel on the other side of the island. The hotel was packed with families with kids. So much noise, kids peeing in and outside of the pool, and even right after we left some kid pooped in the big pool. This was not a five star in our opinion, trash not picked up, decaying pool furniture, dirty pool water, etc. We were even given "the best" Junior Suite with a sea view. If this was their best then it was sad. One time housekeeping even came into our room one morning even though we had the do not disturb sign on the door. Our bedroom had one small window, and our rooms were right over the stinky sewage and back of a restaurant. Sure there was a decent sea view, but not worth the money. If we had our original booking in the adult-only hotel our experience would have been so much better and our room would have been much better. If we had the option to cancel the hotel and flights and not go we would have taken it. The Palladium Group informed us we could cancel our original booking and book a new room at the Grand and we would not have to pay any difference, well we did when we got to the hotel. It was a nightmare, and the hotel staff was not aware of our situation. Regarding COVID, the staff did not enforce the rules enough. When you enter the hotel there is a temperature machine, they don't make sure you use it and many times it will give one bad temperature and then right after it would be good. A lot of the staff did not wear their mask over their entire face. Sometimes they would take your temperature when entering the restaurants/buffet. The buffet lacked staff, you had to wait a long time. Go to the restaurants if you can, the Medeteranin restaurant was the best. The shows at the theater were nice, but twice I had to go tell the front desk about groups of people not keeping social distance or wearing a mask. At one point there were a bunch of Jewish teenagers being so loud, no masks, no social distancing, and other guests sitting down were getting upset. First I asked the bartender to do something, he said: "what can I do". So then I had to yell at these kids. Anyway, A lot of the staff were very friendly, we had a better time outside of the hotel, and we spent way too much for this hotel.
My family has been coming to Ibiza every year for about 15 years; it's my mum's favourite place in the world. Away from the parties in the south is a stunning area of beauty in the north east, called Cala Pada and S'argamassa. This year's trip was a bit unusual - a close family friend who always travelled with us died late last year. It was a difficult decision to come back to Ibiza because I wasn't sure if my mum would still enjoy it as much. We chose the S'argamassa Palace Hotel as it is not tied only to package holidays and we could choose our own check-in and departure dates easily. It was also time to downsize since fewer of us were travelling and, for my mum and I, we only needed a room. The experience was outstanding. From the second we walked through the main entrance, every member of staff made us feel at home. It was as if we were meeting old friends. Nothing was too much trouble and the whole team was very attentive, friendly and enthusiastically helpful. The manager said hello every day, the bar team gave friendly, perfect service and the cheerful housekeeping staff always said hello before leaving the suite immaculate. The room was luxurious and included things that other hotels often charge for: a safe, air conditioning and wi-fi. I had to work a couple of days whilst I was there and found great spots by the pool or at the bar to work from. Staff kept a fridge in the room stocked with water, juice, snacks and beer; all of which were reasonably priced. There were two areas I think could be improved. The first was the atmosphere by the pool. There are speakers discreetly placed in the foliage around the pool but staff said they could not play music. I don't know if this meant the sound system was broken or they weren't allowed to play music but it felt like there was something missing. For example, one day by the pool there were 14 guests relaxing. All of them had earphones in or were playing on their phone; the silence was off-putting. Some relaxing background lounge music would have been a great addition. The second area is totally outside of the hotel's control: the noise of other guests. I was woken on two days around 5am by other guests slamming doors and dragging chairs across floors. The hotel has a silence policy during the night and this is in the guest folder in the bedroom, it's a shame some people ignore it. I know there's nothing staff can do about this, it just takes some extra consideration from guests. Neither of these issues was a big deal and in no way spoiled what was an excellent stay, they're just food for thought. Staff made what started as a bittersweet trip into something very special and I'm grateful to them. We have found a new favourite place in Ibiza and can't wait to return.
Very good, the staff was very enthusiastic to do a free upgrade, and the public facilities of the company's three hotels can be used free of charge at any time, travel is also very convenient, popular bars, restaurants are not far away can be reached .
