Everything was fine, except the last night because the guy working at the reception (it was someonelse every night) talked so loud with a client at 1:15 am during 10 mn just in front of our room's door that he woke me up. He was talking very loud like if he was in a pub and not at all at 1:15 am in an hotel with people sleeping in their rooms. I had to get out of my room to ask him to shut up and after this I could'nt sleep before 3am ! It's a shame that this is the memory that will remain of this stay in this hotel while without this indelicacy, it would have been very good

I thought this hotel was very fine. The Breakfast was delicious and very well prepared. The beds so comfortable and this staff very helpful and friendly. Nearby is a beautiful church and a charming neighborhood with many cafe's, restaurants and bars. It is not particularly touristic, just a charming local neighborhood. To get to the more tourist areas you can travel by the simple to use subway just 2 or 3 stops. For comfort, you really can't beat Hotel Anna!

This is an older style hotel, however it was spotlessly clean, comfortable beds room was large as was bathroom with shower cubicle. Mini bar, hair dryer and toiletries. Coffee and Tea at Reception although apparently a kettle can be hired if required. Quite central for trams and metro, bars and restaurants nearby. Breakfast was perfectly adequate, something for everyone. 7.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. Staff were helpful when approached. Over 70's travelled free on Metro and Trams, receptionist photocopied our Passport ID's for us for this purpose. We were a group of 23 and everyone appeared to be happy with the choice of accommodation.

The Balbin was an unusual place to stay -- not quite hotel, not quite B and B -- but I grew to love it. First though keep in mind that parking is not available there, so a car is an issue. (It's easier to arrive via transit or taxi, but I had a car and had to deal with it and that's the main reason -- that and no AC -- is why I did not give it five stars. Had I not needed parking I would have given it 100%.) And you won't need a car because the Balbin is located within a stone's throw of Wenceslas Square and public transit, an easy walk. The hotel takes up only part of the building, as other floors still have tenants in flats and apartments and is up on the fourth floor. If you are looking for air conditioning, keep looking, because like many other hotels in Europe it doesn't have it. ON the other hand, our room had a very large roof window that popped open and let the heat vent itself out. We were there after a heat wave had broken and so the air was pleasantly cool and fresh and we had no need of AC or even a fan. The room was fairly spartan but quite clean, and unlike a lot of places we stayed, actually had a full bath and a bathroom large enough to move around in. The beds were comfortable enough. Breakfast is included with your stay and consists of a classic Continental-style meal of cold cuts, different types of bread (excellent rye bread) cheeses, fruits, sweet rolls, and to my unexpected delight -- olives. The dining room is on the next floor down from the rooms, but only does breakfast. The structure, as said before, appears to have been a number of flats and was built in 1887, If I recall correctly, and has wide stairways, high ceilings and a teeny elevator which I rarely used, being somewhat claustrophic. If you're looking for 'new', this isn't for you. But it has its charms. But what really gets this place its high marks is the amount of care and trust and knowledge of Prague that the owner has. The desk is not manned 24/7, but there is a fridge stocked with pop and beer and other things that you can help yourself to so long as you write it down on a chit and pay for it later. Worked a charm. And helpful? I have never in my life stayed at a place where the owner/manager bent over backwards so much to make my stay pleasant. He solved my car-parking problems, told us the best ways to get around, called cabs for us, insisted I take up a breakfast tray to my wife who on the first day was just too tired to come to the dining room, discussed Czech literature with me, places to see, and so many other things. And the woman who worked the kitchen and dining room was as sweet-natured a person as you could want to meet. Tiny staff, but big big hearts. Honestly, you could not ask for nicer people. If history is your thing like it is mine, Balbin is sitting right on the front lines of the Prague Spring uprising in 1968. The owner said there are still tenants in the building who were at the barricades made of burned out and tipped

Right in the centre, between Namesti Miru and IP Pavlova, sitting on the busy transport hubs. The rooms are quite spacious, clean and well maintained. Small kitchen is available with microwave, kettle and selection of teas and coffee. Best points would be a very comfy beds, cleanliness, friendly and accommodating staff and the fact that although some of the rooms face the busy street, you cant really hear a thing.

The staff came to the room promptly When I called to reception desk and told them that I needed hair dryer and corkscrew. There is a kitchen. I didn't cook. But you can cook if you want. Stayed at this hotel for 5 days, the location is very good, just a few minutes walk from the bus station subway station, two subway stations to the railway station, to all the attractions and surrounding towns are more convenient; there is a small vegetable market near the hotel, easy to buy fruit. Breakfast is relatively simple and thoughtful, there is no heavy food every day; although the hotel is not large, but very delicate, all solid wood furniture, spiral staircases, paintings, plants, curtains are more particular, clean and hygienic. Need to pay attention to is to check the proof of stay, I gave the print in advance. The only downside is that only the fan has no air conditioning, and the summer is still hot.

We visited Prague over the Christmas period and stayed in the Golden Rooms. We chose this hotel because (from booking.com) it looked like it was in a pretty good location (close to old town and the main square) and the rooms looked quirky and different. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised – the hotel was very modern and had a cute, boutique feel. It was, indeed, situated in the centre of most tourist hot spots and had beautiful views out of the room windows. It is a relatively small hotel and has 5 floors in total (with around 3-4 rooms on each floor). There is only one elevator and you have to walk up one flight of stairs to get to it, and one flight of stairs when you get out (because it is situated on an in between floor). The rooms are smaller than they look online but are very clean and have modern bathrooms (shower only). The rooms come equipped with a wardrobe area, safe, TV (Smart TV with Netflix etc) and 2 x bedside cabinets. The safes aren't exactly "high quality" - they are quite flimsy and look like something from a convenience store. We had a lot of problems with ours (in both rooms) and maintenance had to come and help us with a key card. The beds were comfortable and we managed to get a good night's sleep up until around 6am. The hotel is located down a small side-street so there isn't much noise, but we heard the dustbin cleaners vividly at about 6am and building works started in the hotel around 9am which wasn't ideal but by this time we were already awake. There is a small bar area downstairs in the foyer and they can deliver drinks to your room (if what's in your mini bar isn't to your liking). Tap water is complimentary but you have to pay around €3-4 for bottled water from the mini bar. Overall we was impressed with our visit to the Golden Rooms Prague – we just wish the noise could be kept to a minimum and rooms were a little larger. Instagram: @journeywithuss

Stayed for 2 nights and 2 days. This place is amazing. Right in the middle of city center (5 minutes walk to the square). Farmers market on same street and right out the gate you are in the middle of all action. Interior is amazing. Specially the design on roof, furniture and feel makes you feel you are in Prague 24/7. Very comfy and open. Breakfast was not too fancy but excellent enough to star the day. We had to checkout at 3:30 AM for the flight and there were tons of options (Local Taxi, Uber and Bolt). All were available right outside the hotel door. Next time we go to Prague, we are staying there again.

The exterior of the hotel is very low-key, the lobby is as magnificent as the palace, and the rooms are good. The service is attentive, and you can feel the quality of the old school hotel. The hotel was formerly a bank building, so in the evening, I went to VAULT's remodeled lounge for a glass of cognac. It was very quiet and quiet, no one disturbed, NICE. I rushed to the early flight the next day. The hotel said that if you can't have breakfast, you can help pack the breakfast box. It is very considerate, but we still rushed to the airport before eating. The location is very close to the train station. In the afternoon, you can see the supermarkets, restaurants, and some interesting shops that live in the locals. You can feel different from the old town tourist area, but the same beauty. Recommendable hotel.

At first, I was a bit worried about what would happen to Prague because of the dissolution of friendly relations with Shanghai. The results are all thoughtful, the hotel service staff was very good, and the beauties at the door were smiling every day when they went in and out. A tall uncle will be very helpful in getting luggage. The hotel is a European-style building with a great sense of age. Unfortunately, when staying at the elevator, there will be a lot of guests passing by the hotel, and there will be a net red rooftop upstairs. The hotel breakfast is simple but the taste is ok. On the last night, I asked the waiter if he could take a picture on the Internet Red Rooftop. It was really close to the water tower to get the moon first! Of course, when there are not many people! Stayed for four nights and it was better than it felt. The hotel is right on the Old Town Square, and it is very convenient to eat and eat. Several days of walking and sightseeing in Prague. Besides going to ck town for a day trip. When returning home, the car called by the hotel's front desk was the hotel's own. The tall uncle still helped with the luggage, and the car was very large, clean and comfortable. 35 Euros to the airport is a bit cheaper than calling a taxi from the airport. The whole experience was good. Can recommend it!

This isn’t somewhere I would typically stay when going on holiday, but we were enticed by the offer of having a beer tap in our room. We booked into the beer room for my partners birthday which had a large copper bath with a hot, cold, and beer tap. It was fantastic! We had unlimited beer and The barrel was changed every day of our stay. The hotel is very traditional which we really enjoyed, it is in a great location, walking distance to all major attractions. I would 100% recommend the room we stayed in!

The hotel is just across the bridge from the Charles Bridge Old Town. It is close to the road, very close, next to the goodfood snack bar, about 10 minutes walk from the A subway, the hotel is the fourth floor of the old house. Elevator, the front desk is on the second floor, and we will check in early. When the check-in, the waiter will help to pick up the luggage to the room, check out and pick it up. The two received a city tax of 60 krona, and the breakfast is very rich. The room that was arranged for us was really small. The double bed, one meter is about one meter wide, and the beveled person with a roof next to the bed could not sit up straight, and the sound insulation was not good, because the photo was taken at 5 o'clock in the morning. We were very noisy when we complained downstairs. We didn't say anything loud. It was people who walked on the floor and were noisy. The room is also dim, illuminated by two lamps

This is a lovely apartment with everything you could possibly want.....apart from a comfortable bed! I have to say, this is why I didnt give 5 stars, as the bed and pillows are so uncomfortable. Unfortunately, at the weekends (when we had found out how bad the bed was) the reception is not open at the best of times, so we were almost ready to go home by the time we could comment about it, which was a tad too late in our books. Otherwise, the hotel is well-placed for walking to pretty much anywhere - but watch the weather reports.....the hotel likes to say it doesnt rain in prague, but it does! Cats and Dogs! Anyway, all in all this is a fantastic place to stay.....bring an eye-mask though, as the blinds and the curtains do NOT block out the light. Still......would definitely recommend here.

Well, after reading reviews on here I was fearing the worst with these apartments. Whilst I appreciate that not all apartments are the same ours far exceeded expectations. Centrally located just 5 mins walk from the main square and half hour walk to Prague Castle we couldn’t have been better suited. We drove to Prague from the U.K. and on reading some reviews parking was going to be an issue as Old Town streets really aren’t suited to vehicles but lots of parking available within the Palladium shopping centre and felt secure there too. Bit pricy at around €25 a night but can’t really put a price on security. Check in and process very easy too.

We couldn’t have asked for more of our stay in this residence. What peace and tranquillity no more than 100 metres from Charles Bridge on a leafy street in Mala Strana. The light quality, the dark quality and the ambience of these apartments is perfect. In the day the rooms are light and airy with light nets blowing in the gentle breeze and keeping the room cool even on a hot day. At night the curtains make the bedroom in to the perfect cocoon, total darkness and such as comfortable a bed and pillows. It’s a wonder we saw any of Prague and didn’t just sleep our days away. The apartments are just what we wanted, a sanctuary in the city. There are so many options around for breakfast, coffee, dining etc that we didn’t need to book somewhere that served breakfast – we’d rather look after our own needs. That said, the complimentary arrival coffees were a touch that was appreciated. The brand new bistro downstairs promises to make a much-improved offer to the other outlets on the street peddling the same overpriced Trad Czech Fayre. Sadly, it wasn’t quite open during our stay but if its standards are anything as high as the accommodation above, you are in for a treat. Fresh sheets, towels and linen are offered daily, the shower is strong and the products high quality. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful new accommodation from Asten Hotels; having previously stayed in their sister hotels The Golden Key and Hotel Klarov we should have expected nothing less. We can equally recommend these options if you prefer to be less self-sufficient, have a breakfast package etc but for us it was perfect, we had everything we needed in this base from which to explore this gorgeous area of the city.

From T1 in Prague is the train station. It seems that I bought a ticket at the airport gate and spent 32 kr., sitting on the 191 to the terminal, I saw the staropramen winery, and went 200 meters to the first intersection of the right hand of the winery. To the hotel, this is an ideal hotel for family vacations. It is only one stop away from Andel. You can also go to the market on weekends. There is a smart market around. It is convenient to buy some water and wine. This place probably won't like it. The best choice for the lively people, but very suitable for family vacations, I booked the price is very cheap, breakfast is simply made, multivitamins, protein, all kinds of cereal, herbal tea, dessert, coffee, cheese, hot dishes, fried eggs I think the best thing to eat in Prague is breakfast. There is a company next to it. The full glass window allows us to clearly see their working status. It is also interesting to experience the local office working environment. Worthy of praise is the hotel management. It can be seen that this hotel manager has rich experience, every part of the hotel is at home, with a kettle, bath towels, and a seat in the elevator, which is convenient for people with less flexible legs and baths. Dew & shampoo combo, cotton swab, cotton pad, water is very good, and the bathtub can make a bath (jiao). We decided that a hotel in town would not be for us, so Residence Vysta certainly ticked the boxes location-wise. Across the river from the old town, it was much more peaceful but very close to the tram stop or Nadrazi Holesovice metro station. As it was so cheap to travel on public transport there was no point in antagonising the teenagers by suggesting we walk into town - though it wouldn't have taken long at all. We had a two room apartment so the said teenagers could have their own space (and it would mean we didn't have to see them constantly on their phones) and this worked really well for us. Both rooms in the apartment were air conditioned and the kitchenette area had a fridge so cool drinks were always at the ready. There were also two bathrooms in the apartment so we could quite happily pretend the teens weren't even there. And the all important Wi-Fi worked no problem - no fear of a teen revolt. The apartment was on the 4th floor of the hotel - lovely building with a lift - and was so peaceful that we heard nothing of any traffic. Breakfast was a very comprehensive continental choice; there was something for everyone and we were never struggling for a seat, even at busy times. The staff at reception were superb and thankfully spoke perfect English. Nothing was too much trouble and they were even able to help us print out the tickets for our river cruise. We're planning on coming back to Prague next year and will definitely be checking out Residence Vysta for dates.

Perfect location, and close to all tourist locations which is probably the major attraction of this venue. Friendly enough reception. Staff cheerful. Room was large and the bed very comfortable. Good shower. Good lighting features in the building. It was not mentioned prior to arrival that there would be no room cleaning during our stay. They said this was to prevent harm to their staff members from COVID-19. Had we known we would have chosen an apartment stay since it meant we had to purchase cleaning products for our bathroom etc. (My son was staying in an AirBNB nearby and whilst it wasn’t cleaned during their stay, items had been left to ensure they could clean and sanitise, wash bedding). We chose a hotel for the comfort of the experience and feel this sadly was not provided. Breakfast was good. A lot of fresh choices and some hot options. They should have implemented some table service during the COVID-19 period as this would have prevented guests congregating around the toaster and the coffee machine, it wasn’t possible to safely distance. Evening was a little uninviting. Returned once just after 9.30pm and all lights were turned off in the bar/lounge and no staff were around. It was all closed off and dark by 10pm each evening. It was an average stay when we had expected a much more comfortable and inviting experience. * avoid ground floor rooms if you want to sleep in a little as they are directly beside the dining area and it’s noisy from 7.45 * entrance handrails are blocked by plants which is just plain dangerous.

It's easy to get to the hotel from the airport. It's a little more than an hour by bus + subway + walk. Downloading an app called IDOS is useful. Check Czech public transport + buy intercity bus tickets. The location is very good, the hotel door is facing the astronomical clock, chick in take the elevator on the first floor, and there is a waiter explaining some travel tips in the gap between check-in, such as where to change money, discount cards, etc., it is useless to me. The place where chick in is and the room are not in the same building. There is no elevator in the building. The waiter was very nice to take 2 suitcases. (Luggage that I carried when I checked out is really over the mountains!) I gave a tip of 50 crowns. This job is not easy! This room type has a folding spring bed at the door, but it is useless to me. Breakfast is delicious, you can cook your own eggs, homemade yogurt, meat, vegetables, bread, and various types of drinks (taste better than the CB and CK hotels). Money-saving route attached to the hotel: ATMs with UnionPay logo at the airport can be used for cash withdrawal (not all UnionPay cards can be taken out, and I don't know why, my ABC savings card is OK, CCB and Everbright cannot). Changed the coin at the airport bus window, went to the airport to find the yellow automatic ticket machine, bought a 90-minute ticket, you can only buy a ticket with a coin (person ticket 32 crowns + luggage ticket 16 crowns), take bus 119, get on The yellow check-in machine follows the arrow and puts on the time, and the bus + subway can take any time within the valid time. Look at the electronic screen and get off at the terminal Nádraží Veleslavín. Cross the small road and transfer to subway line A. Take the elevator to the -6th floor and take the subway. Look at the direction of the ride. Get off at Malostranská station. You can't find the elevator and climb the store The stairs on the right, pulling the suitcase on the small stone road, painfully moved forward, stopped to look at Jinger, less than 10 minutes to the astronomical clock in the Old Town Square. 1. The location of the hotel is very convenient, just in the old town square. Going out is the square. The square is surrounded by sights, with the old clock tower, the branch of the Prague National Gallery, and the entrance to the luxury shopping street (Paris Street). 2, the hotel breakfast is very rich, tastes very good. For those who travel to Europe frequently, it will be an unexpected surprise. And champagne is served for breakfast, haha 3. The front desk of the hotel (in fact, the manager) was an official of the Czech Embassy in Beijing in the early 1990s. Chinese is very good. If you have any needs, please ask him. 4, the hotel room is large, the height is also good. If you are traveling alone, it is recommended to order the room, the room is too big and waste. 5, from the hotel taxi to the airport is usually 38 euros, the hotel has its own long-term cooperation driver, the service is very good. It is not very convenient to call a taxi in Prague. 6, can swipe the card to swipe it, try not to change the local money, the probability of using cash is not high. 7. The art institutions in Prague are particularly good, so don't miss out on museums and art galleries. 8, not counting flight time, staying in Prague for three full days is a good plan. The city is small and most places can walk.

Jewish Quarter
Everything during my stay was exceptional. I stayed at Prague many times before and this time the hotel was the best value for money. It exceeded my expectations quite a lot. The room was quite large. As I travelled alone it was even huge for me. There were a large flat TV with tv channels in various languages (German, US, Spanish, Russian. etc.), aircondition, fridge, microwave, hairdryer etc. The breakfast was very good for a typical hotel in Europe and it was served in a hotel bar. The staff at the reception, at the bar and the cleaning ladies were very nice. The location was perfect as well, just some 5-10 minutes to the Staromestska square down the street. Definitely I would stay here during my next visit.

Hotel Petr is on a quiet street in a more residential neighborhood, yet it's close to the sites for which Prague is famous. I stayed here 8 nights recently as part of a Road Scholar tour and was very pleased with the hotel selection. It offers an included breakfast, free wifi, A/C, and an elevator, although be aware that after getting off the elevator, there will still be about 10 steps to negotiate to get to your room. Don't expect luxury, but you will still have a TV, fridge, tea and coffee making ability, and a clean room. Turn left when you leave the hotel and you'll be on your way toward Old Town. You can walk or the tram stop is just 3 blocks away. Turn right from the hotel and a short 5 or 6 blocks brings you to a large shopping mall with a food court and a big Tesco. The Andel metro stop is there too. The hotel is convenient to restaurants and banks. I would have appreciated a soft chair in the room for relaxing after touring and also a little more light in the bathroom although the room itself was well lit. If I ever have the opportunity to visit Prague again, I would definitely choose Hotel Petr as my base.
