Hotels Near Camelia In Samara
1.08km from CameliaStayed in this hotel for two days in connection with the World Cup. Did therefore not have any high expectation, but was overall ok positively surprised. Location - Well I would lie if I said exactly where I knew I was, however it was pretty far from central Samara. Basically it feels a bit in the middle of a residential district of Samara. However, UBER was easy to use to take us into centrum of the town. General facility - The property looks very Russian style with a lot of different weird color combinations. It looks like something from a bad movie outside, but not in a dirty way, just different. Room - We got a standard room with two separate beds and a small bathroom. It looked very old school with heavy gray carpets on the floor and a lot of wodden furniture. Surprisingly the bed was very comfortable and we slept great although you could here everything happening out in the hallway. Dining - Only had the breakfast in the hotel which was in general not that good compared to European standards. However, they had the basic stuff like bread, ham, cheese and fruits to get you going. Had not expected anything better so it was not a problem. WIFI - Worked all right although it jumped a bit on and off. Service - The lobby personnel was very friendly and helpful although they did not speak a word of English which complicated stuff a bit. However, the most important thing was that they were willing to try and help. Cleanliness - The hotel felt pretty clean in general. Some of the carpets should be changed but that is all.

3.1km from CameliaRoom is very small, smelly, dirty and infested with insects. My son got bites and blisters all over. The sheets were stained, the bed had two single beds but they were really super single in size like really narrow and uncomfortable. The Tv in the room is 10 inch crt, YES YOU READ IT RIGHT, 10 INCH CRT from the 70s model. Our room charges included breakfast. The breakfast comprised of 2 bite sized croissants and 1 cup of coffee. Yes thats IT! But the WORST of all is the staff who are unbelievably rude. We had used the hotel pickup from the airport on our arrival. We asked them to add it to the room and we would pay during checkout. They agreed. But to our shock, on the 2nd evening after we came back to our room after an evening out, the reception staff refused to give us our keys and let us go up to our room until we paid for the Pick up! Totally bizarre! My son who is 3 yrs wanted to go to the bathroom and my husband said he would stay back to clear the pickup charges and just let our son and me go up to the room. But the staff refused and almost held us HOSTAGE until the card was swiped and the confirmation received. This was even more disgusting considering the payment for the entire stay had been paid in advance to the hotel. Also during our entire stay of 2 days there was no room cleaning done at all. We were somehow able to get some fresh towels and bed sheets after a lot of negotiation with the staff. Room is very small, smelly, dirty and infested with insects. Hotels Near Camelia In Samara Review
One of the best hotels in Samara. Going forward is the wide Samara River, and the old one is the old town, the pedestrian street, and the commercial street. Of course, it is still much worse than the prosperous business in China. But you can find some restaurants, old buildings, retro buses and trams. The hotel’s executive room did not understand what was special, did not see the exclusive privileges of the executive floor, and did not have an executive lounge. The bed is relatively large, and one person can live and roll. The hotel is strictly for 2 o'clock. If you arrive in the morning, you will need to pay half a day for the check in. Breakfast is not very rich. The service is still of a standard. Overall worth recommending.
We stayed 2 nights for the quarter finals of the WC. Hotel brand new - surprise, 7 large floors, with only 1 elevator. Who planned this? Also the shower links to the whole bathroom, a clear mistake of architecture. Friendly staff at the reception and the concierge Sergey helped us a lot, including transfer to and from the airport. Staff at the bar chaotic, no english and not prepared for a higher demand, during the games. Only 1 restaurant with 3 different menus - not 3 restaurants, as they state. Says "they" are open from 12:00 to 24:00 hrs. Not really true. We tried at 17:00 for lunch (late arrival) and they had to call in the cooker. Took 50 minutes to get our food. I think they have a lot to improve to be a 3 star hotel.
I was really surprised to meet such a professional and nice reception staff speaking the best English I've ever heard during our mundial travel in Russia! So thanks a lot to Natalia, Evgenia, Barbara and all the girls I don't remember the names unfortunately! Moreover it was so heart touching to get an assistance and help any time me and my husband needed in Spanish which is my mother tongue! The one thing which really disappointed me is the bellman who seem to be very impudent and intrusive guy doing his job only if gets some tips he was begging for! Seems like he scored our Louis Vuitton suitcases, my husbands watches and my engagement ring and only after decided to help! Even when we asked him not to do it, cause my husband was carrying everything by himself! And afterwards when I was on the reception desk talking to the girls and when really needed help with a heavy suitcase the bellman disappeared and Evgeniya y Barbara helped me to carry my suitcases. So he forced us to pay him for nothing being very unprofessional, not friendly and not even able to say any word in English! what is really disappointing! Muchas gracias para Daría y su español! Ella es una chica maravillosa que ayude nosotros muy con la habitación y selección mexicana y todo lo que necesitamos! A si necesitas algo ayuda ella es una persona mejor!
I stayed one night in September and the place surprised me with great service, super clean facilities and a great breakfast. The normal "no thrills" experience I had in some other IBIS hotels was replaced by a nice atmosphere, helpful staff and a super clean, although IBIS sized room. It had a fridge which I personally think is important. I am a very particular person who always check room cleanliness and here I absolutely found nothing to complain about. The room was spotless. The view from the window towards the Volga river is nothing short of fantastic. Breakfast was meeting my expectation and based on what I paid for the room, everything has fantastic value. If there is any down side it might be the location that is not down town but I knew that when I booked so I can not complain about that. I deliberately booked the hotel as it is closer to the airport and it saved me 20 minutes in the morning going to the airport so the location was a plus. I will definitely come back to this hotel if I come back to Samara.
Our first stop in our Russian trip was the beautiful city of Samara. Our stay at Trend Hotel was splendid. We felt at home. New rooms and furniture. Really friendly and helpful staff. Besides the comfortable room, there is a fully eqipped shared kitchen. Don't hesitate booking this hotel. Hospitality at its best!
Very friendly staff, thank you very much, we had a good time. I like everything, clean, fresh, and delicious breakfast. I especially want to mention a beautiful bed where two children can be comfortably placed on an extra sofa.
Upon check-in, the security guard was very friendly, he helped to park the car and escorted to the reception. They did not refuse to pour boiling water into a thermos. Everything is super good!
