It's relatively clean, but it's not a particularly good hotel. Generally, the rooms are very small, and there are also large rooms that double the price. It's OK to live casually, but it's not very comfortable

Hotel location is OK, go to the subway station for about 10 minutes, not far from a Carrefour supermarket. But the room is too small, especially the bathroom is smaller, it is difficult to turn around in the toilet. The stairs are also small, often without lights, the elevator is carrying luggage, ultra-small, and the elevator did not have electricity on the day of check-out, so I had to carry the big box down from the fourth floor! Hygiene is also very common. Every day, the waiter only replaces the towels and dumps the garbage. Nothing else is cleaned. In addition, the bathing liquid only lasted for two days, and there were no three days in the back. I was too lazy to ask the front desk. At the same time, in addition to the room rate, we have to pay 3 Euros per day (1.88 Euro City Tax + 1.12 Euro service fee). I have lived in many hotels in France, usually only city tax, I have never seen the service fee. In short, I can only say that I can deal with living. If you have no choice but to live in such a hotel, you can't feel Samsung, just a small hotel.

We had a lovely stay at the Acacia while visiting the Atelier des Lumieres - it’s across the street from a grocery and several small cafes and right on a central bus line. The staff were very accommodating, loaning us both an umbrella and a fan when the room was stuffy. Love that you can open the windows for fresh air and to feel more a part of street life. The room is basic to be sure, but met our needs very nicely and is priced attractively. I give very high marks, however, for the super fast and efficient follow up when I realized I had left behind my iPad. It was too late to go back for it as we had a plane to catch but the front desk staff, after some back n forth messaging, got it in the mail to me and I received it in 2 days (all the way back to the U.S.!) I will be forever grateful. Just a note on the stair/elevator comments from another review - the elevator works very well but if you have lots of luggage do it one person at a time. The stairs were easier for us, being on the 3rd floor; we found them neither narrow nor steep.

When I was choosing the hotel for my trip I had one strong condition. This hotel had to have a parking place. And this Modern Hotel pointed that it had it. But when I came I was surprised that the parking place was located more than 1 km from the hotel. We also paid for breakfast but it was the worst breakfast in my trip. A cup of tea and a slice of bread with small piece of butter. And another disadvantage is that this hotel didn`t have an elevator and had narrow corridors, so if you have big and heavy baggage it can be difficult to pick it up on the 6th floor. But this hotel was located near the city centre and my family and I spent good time and visited many interesting and famous places.

Stayed here 10 days. Our room on 1st floor was small and a bit dark, but was on the courtyard and very quiet. Requested a bathtub (also had a shower which my husband liked) and it was a super tub. The beautiful, pristine tiled bathroom was almost the size of the room itself. The hotel staff was absolutely wonderful: they all spoke English and were especially helpful. As for the location, if you are adventurous, you can maneuver around this area nicely. It is a working class neighborhood, no fancy shopping, but good solid neighborhood with plenty of cafes and grocery store. There are no refrigerators or microwaves in the hotel, but breakfast is served downstairs in a nice area. The nearby Metro is worth it to figure out, as pretty much everything is a long walk from rue Pétion. Bring your good walking shoes, hike around, and see the “real” Paris. Père Lachaise is a couple of blocks away, and if you like to commune with famous dead people, this is a must-destination. We are photographers and this place was like crack - visited several times. It’s more like a park than a cemetery. Please note this hotel is very, very clean. We were there in one of the worst heat waves I have ever experienced in Paris, and the hotel was like an icebox. Seriously we slept with a blanket. Also wanted to mention the cleanup staff was wonderful. Newly renovated and they did a fantastic job. If you want Chanel and high-end shopping neighborhood, better go elsewhere. Will stay here again, but will book bigger room.

We could have easily given this hotel a better review because of its good location and clean rooms. We really enjoyed our stay up until the very last night when our room was robbed (along with three other rooms). 1. Four rooms were robbed (with other guests from Europe and South America). The affected rooms were in different levels of the hotel, and we were all scheduled to check-out the next day. We do not know if the thief/thieves were able to gain access to this information. The hotel receptionist said that this was just a mere coincidence, but this is hard to believe. 2. No forced entry in any of the affected rooms, which means that our rooms were easily opened using a hotel key card. During the night of the robbery, the hotel receptionist said that only the hotel receptionist and the cleaners have a copy of the master key card. We were later told that one of the master key cards went missing. We do not know how it went missing, but this was the hotel receptionist’s explanation of how the thief/thieves were able to enter our rooms. 3. Our luggage zippers/locks were destroyed (the other guests' luggage zippers were also destroyed in the same way), so even though our shopping purchases and some valuables were kept inside closed and locked luggages, they were still forcibly opened. 4. We wanted to view the CCTV footage, but the hotel receptionist said that there wasn't any CCTV camera in the hotel. This is very surprising, given that the hotel has several rooms across several floors (6 levels). The hotel lobby and hotel entrance did not have a CCTV camera, even though the main door of the hotel has a sticker/sign that says that the hotel is being monitored by surveillance videos. 5. When we asked the receptionist to call the police, he said that he couldn't get in touch with the police. However, we were easily able to call the police by ourselves. We spent the next day in a police station to file a formal police report. 6. Upon checking-out, the hotel offered to waive the cost of our hotel bill, and after we left Paris, the hotel’s management also offered to compensate us for a partial amount of the value of the items that were stolen from our room. We appreciate this gesture from the hotel’s management. We’ve all read about pickpockets and the growing number of scams in Paris, and as travelers we try our best to prepare and avoid that. But the last place that you would expect to get robbed is in your own hotel room where you should feel the safest while you are on a vacation. Naturally, we were left feeling very disappointed since we never expected this to happen in a hotel with good reviews. We hope that the hotel can improve its security so that future guests wouldn’t have to feel scared or worried that a thief/thieves can enter their hotel room at any time. We truly appreciate the concern shown by the hotel manager following the incident. If only we could have also received the same level of concern from the hotel s

Booked for a 4 day trip with family. Hotel is spotless. Staff are warm, friendly, welcoming, professional, smiley and nothing was too much to ask, Very helpful indeed. Rooms spacious and views amazing. Bathrooms spotless and rooms cleaned daily. Reception staff made us feel very much at home. Great location, Voltare Metro station just outside the door. Perfect for seeing all of Paris as this line connects with everything. Would like to keep this hotel a secret!!!! I will definately be booking this again for our next trip to Paris. There is never enough time to see everything in Paris. The location of the hotel is excellent. There is a McDonalds right beside it - handy for quick eats!!!

The hotel is easy to reach from Gard de Nord train station being only 6 stops on Metro Line 2 and then a 5 minute walk. However its half way down a small road which is easy to miss in the dark so pay attention. The rooms are based either side of a central passageway and on either the ground or first floor, accessed by stairs, no lifts. I was on the first floor and this was not a problem for me but might be for others. I had a Standard Double Studio which has the bedroom partially separate from the small kitchenette and shower room / toilet. The room was quiet and, although small, normal for Paris. Everything was provided as expected including a nice coffee machine but only 1 coffee capsule and 2 tea bags, as I was there for 4 nights I bought more from the local supermarket. The room was quiet during my stay and neither too hot nor cold. The only negative point I would make is although this was a 'Double' the bed was pushed up against the wall meaning that a second person would have to get out of bed by climbing over the other person or via the end of the bed, fortunately I was on my own but maybe a question to ask booking. Overall the hotel and room met by expectations and I would stay there again,

We just finished up staying here for 6 days and could not be happier. The room was exactly as we expected, smaller than some but it was a decent size and not cramped, best of all it was very clean! The staff in the hotel are so lovely, very friendly and willing to help. The location of the hotel is fantastic- there is a bakery around the corner and is very close to the metro, shops and is easily accessible. We couldn’t be more delighted, we will definitely be back! :)

The hotel is in a good location, the rooms are large and clean, new, and the public order is good. The hotel lobby is a glass sliding door. You need to swipe your room card to enter. The room was flat with 2 large boxes without pressure. The toilets are also very large. There are 2 sets of L'Occitane in a house, and a large bottle of mineral water is given away. Walk to the LV main store for 2 minutes, and make early purchase without pressure. It only takes 2 minutes to the Hermes George Avenue branch, and Bulgari is also nearby. If you want to buy luxury goods, you can put it back in the hotel before you continue. Do n’t worry about safety. 7-8 minutes walking distance to the Arc de Triomphe. The only bad thing is that the front desk called me at 10 o'clock in the morning on the day of check-out. This is a bad experience ... The hotel can help call a taxi to the airport. The hotel said the price was basically the same. The cafeteria and gym are located in B1. There is a Royal Treasure in the hotel, not sure if it is the same as Shanghai.

Such a great experience to be here. Easy to get to from the train station. Actually all subways in Paris are easy to navigate. The hotel is really close to everything, Eiffel, Champs Elysees, Arc de Triumph. And lots of Brasseries. Markets, bakeries and coffee shops. A safe neighbourhood. The room was great. Very comfortable beds. A breakfast is only $10EU each daily, far more cost effective than buying outside the hotel. Save your money for lunch or dinner. Lovely staff, so very friendly and helpful. This is a family owned and managed hotel. We'll go back here for sure.

There had been mix up over the dates of my booking, which was entirely my fault. The receptionist could not have been more helpful to resolve the situation. Although my booking had been fully pre-paid and was not in theory refundable, he could not have have been more helpful. I was very impressed; the room was fine as was the bathroom, although the facilities were a little basic. There is a funny lift which starts just above the first floor and goes almost to the top floor - which does not make luggage transfers too easy. However, as I have already stated service at the reception was second to none. Breakfast was included in the double room rate (large) of €129.00, which is a real bargain for a hotel in the 1st arrondissement of Paris. We enjoyed our stay here for a week - located just off the Jardin des Tuilleries.

Very close to the Arc de Triomphe and a ten minute walk. . When I checked in, an old man at the front desk asked me to add money to see the Arc de Triomphe, saying that my room type could not be seen. . But I obviously saw a lot of other netizens see my room type. . After emailing Ctrip's complaint, Ctrip immediately contacted the hotel and changed the 5th floor for me the next day. . The Arc de Triomphe can be seen from the window. . I have been satisfied with Ctrip after sales. . Remember to be dissatisfied in the European room to go to the front desk to change or complain, no need to bear. . Strive to reason. .

A very cute hotel. We were in the bottom room, with windows that opened to the street. It was a little loud first thing in the morning or when other guest were rowdy due to being located right next to the lobby, but overall that was only the most minor of things we noticed. The bathroom was fantastic- heat towel rack, quality products, wonderful hot water/high pressure. Lots of closet/storage space. Seperate WC. the room was larger than we expected as well. Front desk was so friendly- greeted us each time we arrived, and were able to provide us ice on request (I tore my acl just before the trip, so needed ice regularly after a day of touring). I loved the writing desk in the morning sun- although the view was of the sidewalk, the transparent curtains we perfect for allowing in light while softening the view. The windows both had shutters inside to block out light/sound, and enough still space you could sit and read a book. Location was ideal...the Montmartre area is wonderful. Very close to the Blanche metro line, a short walk to two others. Although just two blocks from Moulin Rouge, absolutely no issues with noise or crazy crowds at night- in fact, it meant some great street food places were open late! Very near to bakeries, fruit stands cheesemonger, easy to grab something quick if you needed. Several cafes a stone throw away with perfect breakfasts and coffee. Near to Van Gough's apartment. A beautiful stroll to the love wall, sacred heart, dali museum and artist square- and thays with me being hobbled with my completely torn ACL! There is a secret food tour that starts and ends in the same area as the hotel to give you an idea of how wonderful all the nearby choices are for eating. 12/10 stay, would definitely stay at this location again. Beautiful location, beautiful service, beautiful city.

Lovely and clean hotel conveniently located just below Montmartre. The staff is very nice and helpful and managed to resolve all questions I might have had. The decor is quite nice, it has a cozy feeling. The breakfast is quite lovely, nice selection of french goodies, so definitely a plus. The only downside is reflected in the location: if you go to central Paris, you often go small for this price. So a single room gets the fun part of not being able to properly unpack my small hand luggage and the elevator is definitely designed for slender crowd. Would recommend and would stay again.

Excellent location, with 5, 6, 7 subways crossing. The room is small and basically adequate. For Chinese guests, the biggest benefit is that it is close to the Chinese community, Chinese restaurants and supermarkets have more choices, and apartment hotels with kitchens can also cook their own meals. The disadvantage is that the front desk of the hotel is slightly rigid. The air conditioner in my room does not heat, and the warranty for 2 days has not been resolved. A budget 3 star hotel. It is more convenient to take the subway station for about 7 or 8 minutes. The room was small, except for the bed and luggage, there was no place to go. Breakfast is just like nothing, no surprises. The wine station is very close to Chinatown and it is convenient to eat Chinese food. The hotel is conveniently located close to the subway station. From Charles de Gaulle Airport, take the RER line B to Denfert-Rochereau, change line 6 to Cambrinne, exit the station and walk past the traffic lights. The road on the left can see the Ibis hotel sign. There is no elevator or escalator on this section of the subway line 6 of Denfert-Rochereau. You have to carry your luggage up and down. Do not take Line 6 when returning. From the hotel, take a taxi to Denfert-Rochereau (approximately 7 minutes, 19 euros, 20 yuan). Denfert-Rochereau has an elevator to the airport RER line, so you do n’t have to carry your luggage up and down Off! Taxi in Paris is expensive, if the locals are at the airport-hotel, take a taxi to and from it * o * Next to the subway station there is a bakery and a small shop selling Kebab (Kebab, Middle Eastern food), which are all delicious! (Put a few photos of Kabab Kebab). The lobby on the first floor of the hotel is spacious with Cafe and bar. If you can't sleep at night, you can go downstairs for a cup of coffee or a small wine, which is very comfortable. The room is small, 12 square meters.
