Our party consisted of two families including children from 9yrs - 17yrs and everyone had a great time. We don’t understand the few negative reviews on here and need to set the record straight. This hotel is not in the centre of Courmayeur, however, we knew that at the time of booking and now that we have stayed at the hotel, we would still return rather than staying in the village. We did walk to the village for shopping and lunch. There is a public bus which will take 5-10mins. We booked half board which was great as the whole family enjoyed fantastic Italian food. Breakfast was perfect, everything you need and more, we enjoyed pre and post dinner drinks in the bar every evening and the staff were very friendly, especially Celeste who was very attentive and friendly. The evening meal was cooked to a high standard with buffet appetisers / salads then a choice of starters and main course. There’s also a separate children’s menu which more than satisfied their taste buds! They have an extensive wine list including many local first class wines. The hotel makes the ski experience very convenient. There’s a ski hire shop in the basement which has good quality equipment and they are very helpful. The hotel has first class ski heated lockers, however, we opted for the amazing ski storage located upstairs when you arrive at the top of Val Veny gondola. This is a free option if you rent from hotel basement shop. They also have another shop at the gondola. You can walk to the base station of the Val Veny gondola, however the hotel makes it much easier with a free shuttle bus in the mornings and afternoons. This hotel has it all as a venue. Very clean and comfortable bedrooms, good quality restaurant, great bar area to relax with live music, amazing spa and pool which was free to use with our booking. We must mention the hotel staff, especially the general manager, bar staff namely Celeste, Manuel & Cosimo, restaurant staff namely Carmelo for his local wine recommendations. All the staff went above and beyond standard service levels. We would definitely 100% return to this hotel.

|0.59km from city centerForse la carenza di personale o il fatto che questa struttura possa andare bene per viaggiatori, di passaggio, che non hanno esigenze particolari, purtroppo al mio arrivo, appena entrata in camera (diversa da quella di due anni fa) non me la sono sentita e sono dovuta andare via subito. Camera con angolo cottura: non a norma, cucinotto di fronte al bagno, piccolo frigorifero vecchio e pieno di muffa, fili di polvere antica all’interno del mobiletto dove avrei dovuto mettere cibo e bevande o piatti e posate. Residui di cibo di vecchi viaggiatori, pavimento molto sporco, copriletto molto sporco, letti in più non richiesti. Peccato, perchè conserva lo stile montanaro, ma credo ci siano davvero troppi lavori di ristrutturazione da fare e soprattutto schermature solari. Alcune camere possono diventare forni in estate. Odore di vecchio e di muffa. Sicuramente non adatto a chi è attento alla pulizia. La signora all’inizio infastidita dalle mie lamentele, ha poi compreso e ci siamo salutate pacificamente. Purtroppo non me la sono sentita. Due anni fa invece sono stata meglio, tutto leggermente più accettabile e camera più in ombra e con ampio spazio esterno. Adesso non lo consiglio. Peccato.

Camere ampie e arredate con grande gusto, la modernità che si sposa perfettamente con lo stile alpino. Letti comodi e cuscini di diverse morbidezze. Bagno enorme, ben strutturato, asciugamani super soffici e profumati. In camera avevamo un balcone vista monti (superlativo!) spazioso, con tavolino e due sede. anche la presenza della scrivania ci ha reso possibile anche fare qualche lavoro d'ufficio malgrado fossimo in ferie, anche grazie alla buona connessione wi-fi. tv grande, e buona insonorizzazione delle stanze. cassaforte elettronica, frigobar, armadio spazioso. a disposizione degli ospiti accappatoio, ciabatte per la SPA. unica pecca: bisogna decisamente eliminare definitivamente i contenitori monouso di plastica nel bagno, e l'assenza del bollitore e di tazze nella stanza. per il resto niente da dire. Abbiamo optato per la mezza pensione e devo dire che mai scelta è stata migliore di questa. volendo fare una vacanza riposante e sportiva, avere la cena in hotel tutte le sere è stata una vera comodità. Inoltre il menù veniva cambiato ogni sera, il che ci dava sempre ampia selezione delle pietanze. Lo chef è favoloso, il servizio impeccabile, così come la colazione: una delle migliori che abbia mai fatto. Complimenti in particolare al personale di sala: gioviale e discreto, preparato ed efficiente. un ringraziamento speciale a Luca e Maria, che ci hanno davvero reso un servizio eccellente. Veniamo alla SPA: non grandissima ma l'ideale per il relax post sci. la piscina è riscaldata, con idromassaggio e massaggio cervicale. La sauna è piccola ma gode di una stupenda vetrata che ti permette di guardare le montagne mentre ti riscaldi. belle anche le docce emozionali e il bagno turco. se si ha la fortuna di non incappare in ospiti maleducati che parlano a voce alta, oppure che occupano lettini con gli asciugamani sporchi dopo essersene andati, è davvero tutto favoloso. Una nota di merito anche alle ragazze della SPA, molto presenti a vigilare che sia rispettata l'etiquette, e che sia garantito il riposo degli ospiti: il fatto di aver segnalato con garbo ad alcuni ospiti che i bambini dopo un certo orario non sono ammessi in piscina è stato un gesto che ho molto apprezzato. Bravissime. la presenza anche della SKI room rende tutto molto funzionale per lo sci: ogni ospite ha a disposizione un armadietto che si apre con una tessera magnetica, dove appoggiare gli scarponi, sci e bastoncini. l'armadietto è riscaldato quindi TOP! a disposizione degli ospiti anche un parcheggio di fronte all'ingresso dell'hotel e uno coperto al quale si accede con la tessera magnetica della stanza. anche qui, ottimo servizio. a meno di 10 minuti a piedi dal centro, ma fuori dalle strade più trafficate, questo hotel è davvero magnifico.

Great food with a varied selection for breakfast enjoyed by all and and a wonderful choice of menus for the evening meal with an authentic Italian choice too. The rooms were fantastic and very clean with daily maid service from the friendly team. The bar service with a smile too offering a lovely selection of drinks and snacks. The staff are fantastic and always willing to help and have a joke with the children. This place is very special and we will be back. What a great team!

This place gave us exactly that. An old school hotel but with charm. Room was clean and prepared well. The breakfast service was great and the member of staff (tall man) was super helpful and efficient. Affordable and definitely worth the price.

We arrived late in the evening and we could not enjoy the dinner service that, From menu, it was a sin (maybe at the next occasion) but yet, we were welcomed in a friendly way by the receptionist despite the hour! The hotel is located in the centre of the Borgo, easy to reach with private parking and especially a few minutes from the hotel. Courmayeur, also walking. The style is typical of mountain, stone and with well-trained furniture, the structure is a good fusion between stone and wood that characterizes its floor and furniture (even historic). The double room was not particularly large but certainly comfortable and just warm in relation to the outside temperature, clean and with comfortable bathroom provided with window for a pleasant frizzing wake! The room was very comfortable and the TV, they completed the work of a quick sleep. It will be tired but you have had a very pleasant sleep without no noise or noise of any kind, in practice as if we were taken into a cloud! The chilli on the cake then, there was not breakfast but wake up! The panorama that was flowing from the windows of the room ... the profile of the mountains have a special charm! We wouldn't want to repartite .... In conclusion, breakfast served in a wide and comfortable room offers the table warm and buffet drinks a variety of cheese, sauces, bread, marmelade and bricks! The hotel is a very good hotel, and it is a very good hotel. Thank you further to all the friendly and available staff, wishing a good season for the next start. Ah .... quality/price ratio ... OK!

The bathroom was spotless also with a great shower. Very good WiFi. There is a water fountain on each floor, with complementary plain and sparkling cold water. The hotel is close to the main square of Aosta. We parked in Carrel, the underground at the bus station, a short walk from the hotel. Nice coffee and croissants at Frapappo cafe next door. I had a great calzone at Break House on Via de Lostan. I would return to this hotel, Break House and the cafe next time I am in Aosta.

We stayed in the two bedrooms executive apartment which is newly refurbished and clean. The apartment is spacious for 6 people to share with well equipped kitchen. The room is only about 5 mins walk to the slope and cable car/chair lifts. Offers a great ski in-ski out location. There are shops, restaurants, bar, supermarket and butcher within the residential area. We are planning to go back again in 2025, however the prices on rooms are not available yet.

Extra bed is available, the location is very good, there is a bus directly to the cable car station next to it, 4 euros per person (round-trip fare) is very convenient. However, it is recommended not to live on the side of the road, and hear the sound of the car whizzing from morning till night. The hotel is still very clean.

Unico consiglio: ampliare un po' l'offerta e varietà della colazione ancora con servizio legato al sistema del periodo Covid, un buffet libero, anche misto al servizio, sarebbe molto apprezzato dalla clientela, da consigliare sicuramente, bravi.

Location is very nice, near Aosta with a confy and usefull parking right in front of the hotel. Spa and sauna are just wonderfull. In all corners of the hotel the clean is just perfect as a top 5 stars. Rooms are lange, confortable, well fitted with everything. Beds are absolutely great. Strong wifi. The breakfast offers very good quality products, clearly choice with care, for all tastes. The vibe in this hotel is special ! A great expresso. We found the rooms clean and comfy. We had a window overlooking the beautiful back garden. On the one hand, it is a beautiful and unique place to live in a real castle, to get very unusual emotions that don't even interfere with the rise of 4 elevators. The room is literally huge! Excellent sound isolation from the metre walls respectively.
But on this all positive ends, because in the hotel the system problem with service and they are many:
1.0 security in the day, for anyone can actually go from the visitors of the castle to the room zone.
2. In fact, it is not 24-hour repepsen or even from 8 to 20. While saying that someone there is something changing - in reality nobody at all from 20 and the attack until 9 a.m.
3. At the price you pay in the hotel, you have not heard of slippers and coats at all.
4. Smashed plumbing.
5. Very big problem in winter is heating. Without it is cold (expected), but it is not liquid and not quiet convection, it is something with a wild noise fan. As a result, a strong noise with which if you want heat will have to sleep and it prevents you. It is not possible to adjust it by the glue of control. Total either heat or cold.
5. Problems are not resolved. The shower is hit. You talk about it in the respiratory. They say that everyone does and nobody does.
6. A mediocre breakfast not intended for children, no coughs, etc.
Total or agree to the problems and get emotions from living in the castle or it is not worth the money specified as a whole hotel.

|34.37km from city centerEasy to find off the main road. We stayed for 1 night mid week and arrived after lunch so we had 1 1/2 days of spa usage. Reception was pleasant and multi-lingual. Bedrooms had great views of the mountain and gardens. Room was large with generous bathroom. But, the grout in the bathroom was quite discoloured and needed maintenance. Also, there is in no iron in the room or even available in the hotel - this is a negative - so make sure you iron what you need before you come. The spa looks like it has been extended and there are any rooms to try. So don't miss out. They should put a map on the walls (like they do in other QCTerme spas), so you know where to find the different spa rooms. The food was plentiful and of a good standard. Make sure you make use of the apertivo at 5pm included in your stay. Another downside was the tight parking downstairs and they have no electric charing points for cars - again a negative. Whilst very enjoyable and we had a relaxing time, they can't really say this is a 4star hotel anymore.

I normally don't write reviews about places I've liked for fear that they become so popular that they become booked out and I won't be able to stay there again! Location is great in the old town - there must be 50 restaurants all within easy walking of the apartment. Gondola for Pila skiing is 10 minutes. There are lockers at the bottom. 6 day pass gives you 2 days in other Aosta ski resorts. We went to Courmayeur and La Thuile. I was surprised at how good the skiing was in Pila.

Not five star because it doesn’t feel the need to be. It’s restaurant isn’t probably a place that Michelin will ever visit although it deserves all the accolades. The rooms are spacious and simply furnished. Everything you need and nothing you don’t and it all works perfectly. The staff are charming and extremely helpful. More to the point it has a real family feel where every single one of them we interacted with had an intense and genuine wish to help - without the five star obsequiousness. The restaurant is also very special. Again the whole family operate as one. All of them genuinely know and have an immense pride about the local ingredients they use and explain them clearly. The food itself is brilliantly presented and without fault. As if all of the above isn’t enough the price of everything reasonable, extremely good value for what you get. Visit. Stay. You won’t regret it.

However we had booked a large quadruple room for 3 people with two toilets and we were squeezed into one double room with an extra bed. It was very cramped. Not really suitable for 3 people when we had booked a much larger space. However the parking was handy, it was a great base in the city centre and the breakfast was really good. The best thing about the hotel is the staff. They are lovely. Really friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. Especially the breakfast staff in the patisseries. Overall had a great stay. Would stay again.

The location is fantastic, we are just above pre saint didier immersed in nature and at the same time only 3 minutes' drive from Courmayeur. Each apartment has a terrace/poisson with mountain views and whatever season the eye hit is magical; in each apartment there is cleaning and detail care; and the power to have the kitchen yet small in each makes you to be self-governmental and free to manage yourself as well. Premetto che ho soggiornato tramite Smartbox e, fin da subito, ho trovato gentilezza e disponibilità. (Hanno provveduto addirittura loro a prenotare sulla piattaforma!) . Io ho fatto, per esigenze personali, richieste particolari e non solo sono state tutte esaudite ma ho avuto più di quanto richiesto. Riiguardo alla struttura, che ha una bella hall elegante e curata, devo dire di aver visto solo il settimo piano ed ho trovato una stanza spaziosa un bagno pulito e un bel panorama. Bella anche la sala colazione/ristorante e buoni i piatti. Ma qui la differenza la fanno le persone: tutto il personale è gentile ma la signora Brunella è qualcosa di più: la sua cortesia squisita e le attenzioni che ci ha rivolto ci hanno veramente colpito. Grazie di averci permesso di trascorrere tre giorni sereni.

|1.28km from city centerAfter reading all reviews we had low expectations but our stay has been wonderful! Yes it is dated, but comfortable enough. The location is great, walking distance to everything and close to the cable car. Breakfast was super fresh and tasty (chocolate croissants are to die for), the room was large. But the best is the staff, they went out of their way to make our stay perfect. Yes the beds were rock hard, but they fixed it with extra bedding. The guys in the breakfast room remembered our coffee preferences quickly and would bring it without us having to ask. Comparing to the room rates at other hotels, this was great value and we would stay again.
