We were moving our belongings to Texas and needed a good place to stay for a few nights. We’ve stayed at other Comfort locations and this one had good reviews and this location was close to where we were to return our trucks. McKinney as with most area near the Dallas metroplex is overbuilt and crowded. The roads are difficult to navigate especially if your not familiar with driving in the area and especially at night. I had notes to take Redbud road which kept us off of the access road. We got lost because they did not have a sign on Redbud road and the building was hidden behind a huge bank building. We eventually found our way to the access road and to the location. The location is very very clean with plenty of parking. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. They have a small seating area in the lobby with a television. They have an elevator to assist to upper floors. Our room was spacious and clean. The little desk area had a love seat that folded out into a cot for an extra person. The bathroom was large and spacious as well. There was a nice room around the corner from the lobby that served as their breakfast area. It was of good size with plenty of seating. They served eggs and sausage as well as waffles, coffee, milks, juice a variety of breads and muffins, as well as cereals. The only take back was all of the hotels along the I75 corridor you can hear the traffic noise. It was not bad but you could hear it.

The service was EXCELLENT. Both gentlemen who worked the front desk were super attentive, kind, and professional. The room was very clean. All 3 lamps have USB ports and plugs easily accessible. Everything worked great. The quiet property is set back a little from the freeway so there was no highway noise. The price was very reasonable for this area and for the quality of the lodging. There is an INDOOR pool and hot tub! The breakfast did have hot food...oatmeal, eggs, waffle maker plus the usual continental breakfast items. I will stay here again in the future.

My husband and I were in town for one night and needed somewhere to sleep for a few hours, so we booked a nearby, inexpensive room. The only reasons I gave two stars instead of one is 1) the front desk clerk was courteous & 2) the shower was steaming hot. As for the unpleasant: first, the nonsmoking room wreaked of stale smoke and filth. All the items I had in my bag carried the odor with them to my home and had to be washed. Second, the room was dingy. There was dried food spilled on the counter and nightstand, dried mucus on the shower wall, and grime on other surfaces. Surprisingly, the only clean part of the room was the bed which we stripped to check for bedbugs. Third, the bed was very uncomfortable. It was like laying on fabric covered springs, and the pillows rattled like plastic pieces. Fourth, the walls are thin, and I do believe there was a lady for hire in the next room based on all the action we could hear her getting over there throughout the night and morning. Fifth, we arrived fairly late, and there were a lot of people loitering outside, drinking and smoking. Also a black SUV was parked just outside our room with a scantily dressed woman who kept going in and out of the motel. There was a man waiting on her in the vehicle. I don’t even want to know why. Nonetheless, we got a couple hours sleep, had a hot shower, and would never go back again.

We needed a pet friendly hotel for a week as our home was under under repair. Home2 Suites was in fact our second home for a week. Everything about the stay went well. Each member of our family and our family pet enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean. The staff met all of our needs. The complimentary breakfast was something we looked forward to each day. A good variety of breakfast meals alowed us to try different selections each day. the hotel was located close to stores and resteraunts. It was everything we needed during our week away from home.

I love this place, great staff, good clean room. The only problem that I have is beyond the control of the staff, neighbors doors slam a lot on my floor, but other than that good place to stay if you need a place to sleep.

Breakfast is general, the variety is less, the location is a bit biased, it is best to have a car, the parking lot is a lot, the room is large, the environment is good, very quiet, cost-effective

We recently spent four nights at this hotel. I would probably rate this hotel closer to a five, but had consistently poor housekeeping during our stay. After the first night we were out of the room by noon. When we returned around 5:30 the room had not been made. I called down to the desk who told me they would send someone up. As I was talking, I noticed the bed skirts were absolutely filthy. I took photos to show a woman down at the desk. She told me housekeeping said I had a DND sign on the door (I did not). She asked me to email them to a general email for the hotel. I did. We left the hotel and returned around 10. The room had been cleaned, but the bedskirt was still filthy. The next day we left the room by 11 am. When we returned that night the room had been made, but the filthy bedsheet remained. On the 3rd day, we were out of the room again by 11 am. We returned and the bed was made but the filthy bedskirt remained. I called the front desk and asked for two foam pillows as the two feather pillows were pretty flat. I also mentioned the bed sheet. We waited over an hour for someone from housekeeping to show up - with feather pillows! I explained we needed foam pillows and she was not happy. I also showed her the bedskirt. She left and I waited another 20 minutes, no pillows, so I called the front desk again. The woman who answered said she would go get the pillows and bring them up. Another 30 minutes and I called again and she said the housekeeping manager was coming up. Another 20 minutes and the manager shows up with the correct pillows and a new bedsheet! On our final night, we left the room around 1 pm for the day. When we returned around 7 the room was umcleaned AGAIN! When I called to report it, I was told that we must have had the DND sign on the door (we didn’t). We went to dinner. When we came back, the room still had not been made. At this point all we wanted were clean towels which was another hour wait. Finally got towels at 10:45 pm! Housekeeping aside, we had a nice breakfast each morning in Sweetwaters. The staff was wonderful and attentive. People working the front desk were also nice and accommodating. As for the email? Never received a response.
