Located a short walk from the sea front, Sol Port Cambrils is a comfortable, clean hotel with a slightly corporate feel. Staff, especially those on reception, are friendly and efficient. The standard rooms have a balcony and come equipped with a TV, hairdryer, free room safe and a mini bar fridge but no kettle, so if a morning cup of tea is important to you, you may want to bring a travel kettle. There is a large Aldi supermarket about five minutes walk away, (head under the rail tunnel to the right of the hotel) , where you can buy milk and other provisions. There is fast free wifi, a gym and a pool. One side of the hotel borders a railway line, so if you want a quiet room, request one when you book and the hotel will do their best to accommodate you. The hotel offers underground car parking for a fee, but after 15th October parking on the streets outside the hotel is free and widely available. Sol Port Cambrils is close to bus stops and the train station , so even if you don’t have a hire car, you can still get about. The food is good, with a wide buffet choice including chef’s specials cooked to order each night. I especially enjoyed the fish dishes. If the buffet food is slightly cooler than you would like, there is a microwave available for you to heat it up. However, the dining room is so brightly lit, we felt it lacked atmosphere, especially at night. There is a hotel bar on the ground floor, although again more atmosphere can be found in the local bars in the town centre. Entertainment (a singing group) was provided for one night of our stay in the bar, although it was very loud. We enjoyed our week at Sol Port Cambrils and had a nice relaxing break.

Very clean and comfortable room, Friendly staff, Pet friendly and without extra charges for our 4 legged family member. Restaurant, economical with a good choice, they really overfilled us. Continental buffet breakfast was probably the best we have ever had. We will definitely stop there on our next trip to Italy. Super value for money. 5 mins to the motorway.

Return visit from last year, it is always a good sign that a large number of staff have been retained. Given a different style of room this over looking the adult area and pool, room was clean and with plenty of space and a large wardrobe. The bathroom had a separate toilet, sink and walk in shower that had good water pressure and hot water, something I don't find everywhere I stay. The food was of good quality and plenty of variety. I particularly like the outside bar area where the entertainment takes place. The entertainment is rotated over two weeks to give a good variety. If the outdoor pools are too cold the indoor ate the Spa makes a pleasant morning dip. The walk to Cambrils takes us around 25 mins that includes a sit down on one of the many benches along the front. On reaching the town there is a park on the left with a cafe for refreshments before going on to the harbour and shops. The old town is worth a visit and can be tied into market day for a morning out. It costs 10 Euro for a taxi to the harbour or train station where you can get either the bus or train to Salou or Taragona, worth a to wander around Roman ruins and early Christian architecture, the train also runs to the fun park and Barcelona. We stayed all-inclusive so we were not looking for restaurants nearby so don't know if there is any certainly did not notice any. We would stay again, hopefully in a similar room to 1059.

We were very impressed by the location of this hotel mid way between Salou and Cambrils. It was situated on the beach road meaning you only had a couple of yards between the hotel and a beautiful clean sandy beach.. The hotel itself is very modern and very clean . Staff keep all the public areas rooms and pool area spotless. The rooms had tea and coffee facilities which were replaced daily and though we were at the front of the hotel there was no noise from the road on which the front of the hotel is placed. Food was varied and there was always something for every taste. Staff were fine but there did not seem to be enough of them to clear tables quickly and the dishes piles up in between courses. As it was due to close in two weeks it may have been that staff had been let go or moved on as part of a seasonal work force. The pool was clean and well maintained with plenty of sun beds and chairs. The hotel is in a quite area and you do need to walk towards Salou for more entertainment or Cambrils in the other direction if you wanted a more Spanish feel to your holiday. This town was full of lovely restaurants and little cobbled streets with little coffee shops. As it is a marina the sea front eateries sell excellent fish dishes. Don’t expect pubs as it is not that sort of resort but a lovely gem of this coast line. Salou is busy and more focused on bars and cheaper eating places. The promenade is lovely and very wide with plenty of seating and a lovely area to sit and sunbathing and watch the world go by. The beach along this coast line is lovely clean sand which goes on for miles. If you do not fancy a walk along the coast from one resort to another there is an excellent bus services along the main road which takes you all over this area with buses to Barcelona for those more adventurous. In all we would recommend this hotel and the area for a great holiday.

My husband and I have just returned from a wonderful week at Mas Gallau. The hotel is beautiful. Every room overlooks the pool and the gardens. We were welcomed on arrival by a very nice lady. Our room was lovely. The restaurant is excellent. Unfortunately we only visited it once. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The lady in the dark suit and the young guy with the glasses were extremely pleasant at all times. However I left a little disappointed after checkout. A lady with short dark hair did not ask if we had enjoyed our stay. It was a shame because I would have been only too pleased to let her know just how much we did. Apart from this our stay was truly wonderful.

Hello fellow travellers We found this little gem after hunting around Reus for a Sports meeting two months before our trip and found that all the wonderful "Bargains "of over a 100 euros a night plus b/f and parking was in their dreams. Cosequently searches further afield cave us the Hotelet. No problems booking and fair price. It is situated on the A7,We stayed for 5days beginning of July .We cannot comment on the hotel food but it is fully adjoined to a restaurant open 24 hours a .day..It reminded me of the old transport cafes except the food here is ten times better and an incredible choice of good food including childrens menus at fair prices. The rooms were clean and equipped with small tv and wi fi.I must admit tho old "bum "bath amused me but excellent shower..Despite being a truckers stop,in the 5 days not once was I disturbed by outside noise or road traffic ,though I counted 35 trucks parked at rear ,gone in the morning. The foyer is only staffed between 8am and10pm Not needed with direct assess from restaurant..Parting is free and also has a lockup area apart from general parking..There is a childs play area and a very pleasant kidney shaped shaped pool with rocks and waterfall.all covered by close cct tv during the day.A gym which alas was not open for a few days. The staff and cleaners were all very pleasant and friendly .Pets were catered for so no complaints all round. Although we were on a sports event we did not have much time to rest in evenings,. But folks look at the localities we dined in Cambris,Salou only 5-10 minutes away and Tarragona all with beautiful beaches. The whole area has so many things to see and the HOTELET is smack in the middle including the famous Portaventura abot 25 minutes away. For me Hotelet is a little gem.. Bugsie Wray Mallorca

An ideal place for a "seal" holiday for the whole family. The beach and the sea - you can't imagine any closer. Clean, comfortable, tasty, modern. In a word - perfecto! The animation is decent, both kids and adults will like it. The rooms are very comfortable. The staff is without arrogance, very welcoming. The prices in the wine list at dinner are completely loyal, there is no need to save on the nearest supermarkets. All I needed was a gym.

I stayed in this hotel for 9 days and had no complaints about this hotel. It is in a great location- just beside the beach. The town centre with all the hustle and bustle is a 20 min walk away, so there is no loud music blaring at night time which is great for a good nights sleep. The bus Plana stops just at the hotel which is excellent! The train station is only five minutes walk from the hotel. The rooms are clean and have proper air conditioners. Additionally, the hotel has a decent size fridge for all your refreshment storage needs. Breakfast is served from 8 to 10. There is a good choice of fruit, cereals, fried fruit and delicious pastries. Most importantly, the staff is helpful and very efficient!

Nice city center hotel - located in a little side street with a 5 minute walk to the beach. Unfortunately there is a train station very near by with a pedestrian crossing ,the trains will sound their horns as they go pass (to warn off any people crossing). This happens in the very early hours of the morning! ! I was woken a number of times by this & I decided to complain! They said they will upgrade me to the other side of the building where you cannot hear the train. So we moved out of our noisy room to the new up graded room, only to be told that a extra 50 euros per day will be needed!! (I was not happy But this was our main holiday & 30th wedding anniversary)There is no coffee or tea in the rooms-you have to go to the bar.But the bar is closed between 10:00 & 12, this was supposed to be a four star hotel. There is only ONE small swimming pool (it's converts to an indoor when the weather is cold or wet). The grand total of beds was 10 on the roof top pool, with other seats. Not Impressed !! The beds were very comfortable. This hotel seems more like a short stay/business mans hotel.

I had an amazing stay here for my 4 day holiday trip. The rooms were clean and whatever amenities I needed it was provided helpfully by the staff. Theres a lot of nice hotels but for me, the staff is the most important aspect. They were very helpful with the 1000 questions I asked and always adrressed me by my name! I'm not sure how they can remember the guests names like that! its great getaway for families, couples, and bachelors alike.
