A group of 9 of us arrived at a beautifully decorated house in Mascalucia near Etna. We were warmly greeted by Emanoela and Giordano. We were led to the immaculately decorated Christmas-theme dining room. I went, “Wow!” with the sight before me. Look at the pictures later. Each of our rooms has a unique character dressed to a floral theme. My room was huge and well scented. Some friends did not enjoy that though. More importantly, the hosts were obliging and very helpful. They were sincere and went out of their ways to accommodate to our requests and queries to the best of their abilities. Am deeply touched by their hospitality. They were sociable and engaged us in conversations to help us learn more of their house and the place. Their kind gesture has left my last leg of the stay in Sicily a memorable one. Thank you, Giordano and your parents for seeing to the details each day and your lovely smiles. And to Emanoela for your help in making the required arrangements for me. A highly recommended place to stay if you like a European style setting and if you enjoy interacting with the hosts.

Location not too hard to find. Upon arrival no one was there to greet us. As we came to the gate we had a large selection of bells to ring. As we didn’t know which one, we tried calling the number with no answer. After a few minutes the gate opened as someone was going out and they told us to go inside. Inside the owner asked us if we rung the bell because he’s not the one to greet us. A woman who didn’t know a word of English showed us the way down to the cabin and left us there without any information. After some time we went back up and called for the owner again to ask some questions. Got some short answers before he run away in the middle of the conversation with some woman. The accommodation was nice and cozy. Good AC in bedroom. Missing quite a few necessities in kitchen. No hairdryer in cabin, nor iron. Half a toilet roll and a bar soap. Got one set of towels supposed to last us 7 days. Same with bedsheets. Cabin was combined with other apartment so we shared walls. Lyhört. So if it’s peace and quite you want this might not be for you. We had babies and the dogs keeping us up most of the night. Also the water heater was beeping a few times every hour throughout both day and night. The garden is more like an overgrown jungle. Pool was nice, a bit too cold. When we needed help or information we went back up as we were told we could just knock if we had any questions. The doors are guarded by 3 dogs who attacked as you tried to enter the premises. So you definitely couldn’t knock, trying to call for someone didn’t work either. We tried calling the number 3 times with no answer or callback. Breakfast was ok, not a big selection but had most of what you’d want. As for food you could pay 20€ for a lunch or dinner at the premises. The area around have about 2 restaurants so you definitely need to be able to get around by car. So, you do need a car for this location yet the garden is not adjusted for it. The roads are very slim and the garden around grows over to scratch your car. Not well lit at night. As we were checking out we had no information about where to leave key and no one to help us. In conclusion, very high price for what you’re getting, with bad service.

__LW_NL__ ›

The room is super big, and the boxes are just spread out. Because Palermo is not big, it is convenient to go anywhere. The front desk provides a map, but the Italian cannot be read, so I still rely on Google. One thing to complain about is that the door of the room is a bit loose. As long as someone opens and closes the door, it will ping-pong. The first night we thought someone was opening our door, which scared us to death. Later, when the problem was discovered, the cabinet with the luggage was completely dead and quiet. Personally, this is still a big problem.

Just came back from a 16-day trip to Sicily and we loved every bit of it! Palermo was the last stop of our trip and we spent 4 nights at the Quattro Canti B&B. Location is excellent, just right opposite the Fontana Pretoria (fountain of shame) and few steps away from the beautiful Quattro Canti junction. Teatro Massimo is a convenient 10mins walk away and the airport bus is round the corner in front of Rinascente. We felt very safe in this area and there are many restaurant options within 5 mins walk. We had a room on the second floor facing the next building hence not much of a view. Room is okay overall and bed is firm and comfy. The restaurant on the top floor has a good view. Special thanks to Bernadetta at the front desk who was extremely helpful with all our needs.

The hotel has an excellent location, adjacent to the famous Sijiaochang, in the most prosperous street in the city center, close to the railway station, airport buses, and main attractions. Within 15 minutes’ walk, the breakfast is rich, the service is very good, and the hotel has a courtyard. The room we stayed in, the bathroom is also big, it is the best choice for traveling to Palermo

For the hotel set by cruise ship, the location is just opposite the pier, and there is also its own free parking lot, which is super convenient. The room is a budget hotel, which is quite satisfactory. The most unexpected thing was the hotel's breakfast, which was hearty, and overlooked the harbour. It's not far from the scenic area, if you can, you can walk along the beach to Sijiaochang and the Royal Palace. We walked slowly for about 45 minutes. Overall very satisfied.

The room was clean and tidy and the breakfast was very good. It is recommended to have a balcony room facing the sea and watching the sunrise. 1 km from the train station, you can walk to attractions such as Sijiaochang. From the airport to the hotel in the evening, I took a VAN and bargained 60 Euros.

Because it is the last stop of the journey, and considering the hotel chain, our vigilance is reduced. When I went to breakfast, I didn't lock the suitcase. When I returned to China, I found that one thousand yuan in the suitcase was gone. I suspect it was stolen in this hotel, because there are lock boxes in other places, and staying here. The RMB in front of the hotel has always been there. I have seen the experience of other people before I traveled. I know that Italy has such a theft incident. I didn’t expect it to happen to myself. I can only blame myself for being too big.

we stayed here for one night. Arriving in the evening was a bit of a shock since part of the neighbourhood was run down, but the following day in full light we realised that a lot of palermo antique center is run down!!! the palazzo is beautiful and tastefully decorated, the room was ample very well appointed, the hygiene & beauty products as well as the bath towels were of very good quality. breakfast buffet was fresh and sufficient and included gluten free products which was great as I am celiac and had run out of my own supplies. The staff were very very friendly efficient and always available to help. There is a small square right in front of the hotel where you can park. We are planning a second trip to Palermo and will definitely stay there as a direct booking onto the website of the palazzo gives you an unbeatable rate that includes breakfast buffet. We carefully selected this hotel for New Year 2020 holidays. We spent 7 nights in excellent condition. The room was quiet, very comfortable, large, neoclassical style, beautifully decorated( paintings, floor lamp, wall lamps, Italian marble floor), a slightly retro atmosphere very pleasant. A second smaller room was a dining room which included a well-equipped kitchenette, a table, 2 chairs, a sofa bed, a floor lamp, and paintings also. Cleaning was daily. The sheats and the towels were changed every day too, without asking. The breakfast was rich and varied. That included cannoli cakes that I knew the other 2 trips in Sicily and I liked them. As regards the hotel staff I could say: very professional and helpful. Congratulation for the hotel management, too Hotel location: very good. 5 minutes from the "city (elegant)center"(Teatro Massimo, Teatro Politeama, Via Ruggero Settimo) and not far from the "historic center" 15 minutes walking distance or 5 minutes by bus (station near the hotel)

I stayed here for a few nights during a short trip to Sicily. The hotel is in a nice fairly quiet location, but is reasonably close to the main pedestrian street and plenty of restaurants and tourist sites. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and include all the usual amenities. If possible, try to get a room facing the front of the hotel, since these have small balconies. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet is excellent. All things considered, this hotel is a very good value for your money, and I would definitely recommend it.

We spent our last night in Sicilia at this small lovely hotel with very good price. It was a perfect choice: close to the main interest places in Palermo city in a good neighborhood: market and restaurant quite besides. There is a parking lot for 18 Euros (it was written 15 Euros at Expedia but the Receptionist in the morning said it was an old price), anyway it worthed a lot since you let your car safe, a driver comes to pick it up (check in) and wherever you want (Its 24 hours paid, if you cone 5 pm and even the check out is 11 am you can get your car at 5 pm). We tried to drive to some sightseeings and after 40 minutes without a place to park the car we got back to the hotel to leave our car again at this parking (without pay it again, so we got the car till 5 pm). And we could WALK to all sightseeings 👌 ABOUT the hotel: Small room (Standard) with VERY good air conditioner (very important!), good bed, nice shower and a refrigerator BUT the best thing was MARIELLA at RECEPTION: The most simpatic italian person we have seen on these 8 months traveling all round Italy 🥰 She is a very good professional, gives all attention and directions, i saw her talking in english to a small group of chinese i think and now before we left (we left our cooler on electricity till we came to the Porto to get our Traghetto to Genova) we saw a BIG group of Korean women who barely spoke english and she had all patience (SO difficult issue for italians 😂) and also made mimics to help on comunicazione 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽. She was alone, if not i am sure she could help these ladies with their luggage. We LOVED the breakfast, liked also this staff (all them very kind, the barista girl) and the cleaning staff. Surely we recommend this hotel !!!

The room was clean and the ladies came to clean out our room every day. We had also air conditioner in the room and it was very useful. The staff is nice and kind and if we had any question they could reply to it immediately. According to the trip advisor reviews, the breakfast is on the spot and all You can eat but we had to walk 5 minutes to a nearby bar and we could pick up one pastry and one coffee. It was a bit comfortless but the staff was very nice there as well.
