Being a mature traveler, it was a nice touch. the bed was very comfortable. Everything was clean and the breakfast food was delicious. Sweet place.

|1.34km from city centerThe hotel was comfortable and the area felt quite safe. It was quiet and the beds were good. Good hot water and nice pressure. The lighting around the beds was very convenient, and included charging ports. We were surprised to receive fresh towels on the 2nd day of our 3 day stay. Housekeeping and front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was nice and clean, and refreshing. Denny's is next door, and Village Inn is just a couple blocks, for the times we wanted to eat before or after we went downtown. Did wish it was a little closer to the main part of the historic area. When it was hot and humid, we didn't walk and arrive all sweaty to start with. Instead we called Ubers for $5-8, and walked back.

The hotel is on the outlying island, across the water from the main city, and the highway bridge connecting the peninsula is next to the hotel, with convenient transportation, but the hotel is still very quiet. There are not many rooms in the hotel, but they are spacious and bright, the beds are good and the breakfast is great!

The staff was very welcoming and accomodating. The room was quiet, clean, and comfortable.The bed was extremely comfortable. Amenities included pool, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, blow dryer, iron, ironing board, writing desk with chair, huge HD TV, and free WIFI. A guest laundry room is available. The Ponce is a 15 minute walk or short drive to the St. Augustine old historic site. Shopping, restaurants, and a salon and spa are also minutes away. The Ponce is on the water, and although the restaurant does not face the water, the view is beautiful.
The hotel restaurant, the DeLeon, is a Colombian restaurant. The food was delicious and authentic! I can't wait to eat there again.
I give the Ponce Hotel a rating of A+++++. I also must mention that I left a pair of diamond earrings in my room, and within an hour of checking out, Negar, the hotel desk receptionist, called me to let me know, and my earrings are being mailed to me. This honesty and going the extra mile is seldom seen today, and I was extremely impressed and grateful. Again,I rate them very highly and plan to return on my next visit.

The staff are polite and accommodating and the breakfast is adequate. During my stay, a hurricane was approaching (see the photo!) so the pool was closed and some amenities were not available, but still had a delightful stay! Fully recommend this hotel to anyone in the area. Plus, downtown and historic St. Augustine are worth a visit, there are a lot of things to see and enjoy.

If you want to go around the hour, it is a very comfortable small city with its own sea, its own university, My own pedestrian street, my own castle, and the ancient city gate. When the weather is good, I walk around the streets and drink coffee in the hotel. It's very refreshing... The hotel staff is also very polite, and leave the keys in the mailbox when it is late at night Self check-in, the hotel is very warm, there are wine drinks and small snacks when they arrive. Breakfast is a little later, at 9 o'clock, everyone will eat downstairs together. The boss prepares one portion, and one is staffed. It is very distinctive... When leaving, the boss also asked for a good review, which was indeed in place. By the way, parking is in his backyard. It is free and easy to find. The location can’t be beat and the rooms are so nice. All the staff we’ve dealt with have been fantastic as well. The inn provides a parking pass for the garage across the street, and with the inn’s location you might not even need your vehicle for the majority of your visit.

|3.15km from city centerWe enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Place Vilano Beach. It was a close walk to a beautiful, clean beach. We were told the pool wasn’t warm, but turned out it was! We skipped swimming because we weren’t aware until it was too late. The breakfast was great and well stocked. We paid a little extra for a balcony but the view wasn’t good. Don’t waste your money on a balcony. We paid for valet parking which ended up not being necessary. There is plenty of street parking. It was overall a clean hotel and very friendly staff.

I really love the fact that they offer hors d'oeuvres in the evening, which was absolutely amazing btw, and the staff is just simply lovely. The breakfast is worth every single bite, and is offered in the stay. This spot is a gem and I will probably only stay here every time I visit St Augustine. I recommend 100%.

Courtesy and service at the counter needs to be a bit better. Keys deprogrammed daily. Water pressure at sink was insufficient but shower worked well. Lobby, specially the feeble signature oak staircase gives you a cheap and haunted welcome and feels unsafe....what were they thinking? For the price, i shouldn't be complaining...but it takes so little to improve the experience. So, why not?

The people who gave out the food in the breakfast line I give a heads up on the black heavy set man who was friendly and professional. Not so much for the girl older girl in cutoff shorts who help him. Room was so clean and the pool awesome. Friendly housekeeping staff made us feel good. We stayed in room 131 and the only problem was the door to the bathroom could not close. Staff went out of their was to drive us anywhere we needed. I loved this place and would never look for any other place. Location is perfect right next trolley for tours and they pick you up at the hotel.

This place is very clean and beautiful. The front desk young man Imran is very cool and very friendly, He gave me water right away he saw I was very exhausted. Now on this time, people don't care or respect, but this guy is totally different from everyone else out there. He was raised very well, and I wanted to give a shout-out to his parents for raising him so well. He is truly a Dimond for Days Inn by Wyndham.

The location is fantastic, easily accessible to many of St Augustine's attractions. Most noticeably, the staff here was just amazing. Each front desk agent, every time we passed by, was so outgoing and friendly, it just made for an excellent stay. The woman that checked us in during the evening shift was so welcoming, and extremely helpful and informative. The woman in the mornings was equally friendly, and greeted us every time we walked by the front desk. I highly recommend this property!!

|7.95km from city centerWe book at a hotel monthly and this is BY FAR THE WORST EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD AND THE 1st BAD REVIEW I HAVE EVER LEFT! Where do I start?! We came for our daughters 11th Birthday. First of all the place looks like a roach motel surprisingly but the rooms are okay (just okay) so no big deal but the first issue was arriving and seeing that the pictures and amenities listed are complete false advertisement, they picture a hot tube on choice hotels (false), then says “beachfront access” when in fact it’s a 10 minute walk with 3 kids that anyone can access to get down to the beach but we got over that easily. Then, we go in the room and under the sink is what looks like mop water (now that I noticed it) and I slipped and threw my back out at 29 years old, still was not going to complain. (Even slammed my shin on the bed frame that is sticking out in the wall way but covered by the bed skirt) But then I could not sleep because I was in serious pain so me and my husband were on our balcony (myself in a chair because standing was too painful) literally whispering because the place echos horribly and our 9 month old was sleeping while our my son and daughter were laying down, and while sitting in silence (but had been whispering before) the night clerk “Micheal” came around the corner screaming at us that we need to stop screaming because he was getting complaints while he was 10x louder than we had been all night . He first said that he knew it was us because we were the only ones outside (but people had obviously been in and out all night) but then I WHISPERED “is he serious?” To my husband and in return Micheal continued to keep his raised voice and said that he had just done his rounds a few times and knew it was us, although our hair was still dripping with water from being in the shower and had not seen him at all that day. I was in complete disbelief but I allowed him to continue ranting his threats while walking away, but he was belligerent and his threats didn’t make sense, one was “you’ll be gone and I don’t mean on a jet plane!”, so I said “what did he just say?” Under my breath to my husband (in a sarcastic tone) and it set him off saying the jet plane threat again (which kind of gave a comedic value to it at least), but what wasn’t funny was him walking towards us again and aggressively at this point. It was very disgusting and unwarranted behavior seeing as my husband stayed silent and my only 3 comments were “we have been inside and then whispering out here sir, So I’m not sure who it was” before I knew he was accusing us instead of asking who is was) , “is he serious”, and “what did he say”. My newly 11 year old was inside crying and scared that he would hurt her parents, and the kicker is HE WOKE UP our 9 month old despite her sleeping the entire time that he claimed that we were “screaming”. This was so disgusting that we are leaving our non-refundable stay tomorrow night to pay for a room somewhere else!
