Location was convenient as my mate and I wanted to walk everywhere. we're quite walking enthusiasts and it was great to start from the old market towards Pantheon and the Grand Mosque then crossing the river towards the other side walking the Seine towards the Lovre all the way up to Arc de triumph and Tour Eiffel, So if you're planning on walking I'd highly recommend this hotel. The room was clean and no major complaints but was quite small and not much space to move around at all and outside of the room is quite dated and less than pleasant, I didn't want to hang out of the room. The evening receptionist did not speak a word of English and seemed slow altogether as I can speak a little french but he still didn't seem to either understand my point or care to offer any help anyway! We were leaving Paris on the day the strike began and needed advice on how to get to the airport but he could not point out anything other than waving a taxi at 4.00 am in the morning which is a method I'd learnt a long time ago never to rely on to go to the airport! I asked for a breakfast box to takeaway as we were leaving earlier than breakfast time but still the only answer I got was No! many things were dissappointing and if I wasn't such a confident traveller I would've been nervous on what to do! I would stay again only for the convenience of the location but definately wouldn't be my first choice!

Old fashioned hotel. The staff on the front desk were really friendly I had told them we late arrivals Double room certainly not small old fashioned furniture But all clean. For the price u cannot go wroung. We have paid way more than this and had a shocking place. 100m from a great typical little bistro we rolled in at 2245 expecting kitchen to be closed but no. We had a great mixed plate of cheese and meats and a small carafe of an excellent bruilly. For a one or two night stop no problems at all.

This was our second visit to the Monte Cristo hotel. It is in a great location, only a 20/30 minute walk to the river or the Gardens of Luxembourg. There is a great restaurant which is actually part of the hotel over the road called The Grand Dictionnaire - I highly recommend visiting - the food & service is great! We had such a lovely welcome when we arrived, the lady on reception also upgraded our room for us. Due to CV-19 we had to book private 45 minute swimming slots, which I actually much preferred than having to share the pool with others, which we did on our previous visit! The rooms are a little on the small side, but it’s not an issue - you really feel like you’re staying in a chic Parisian boutique, and it’s just so beautifully decorated & very clean! The beds are super comfy & the linen is perfect. Thank you to all the staff at Monte Cristo hotel for making our trip to Paris even more magical! We will be back!

My sister and I have just returned home after a 3 night break at hotel kyriad and we were both impressed with the hotel from the moment we arrived. We arrived at the hotel much earlier than the check in time and luckily our room was ready which was amazing as it was a very hot day so we were eager to get changed and freshen up. It's easy to find from the airport. Take the REL and change onto the metro which has a stop 5 mins away from the hotel itself. The cost of a ticket from the airport is €10.30 and that covers your whole journey. Much cheaper than a taxi! The room itself was clean and comfy. Not overly massive but perfectly accessible. The lift works also! Shower room was a little small but again was perfectly adequate for our stay. Memory foam pillows and a comfy mattress was welcomed. We had double doors to open which allowed plenty of air flow and a fan was provided. There is aircon but we didnt need it. The hotel overlooks apartments which you can clearly see the neighbours but was fine as long as you didnt walk around naked in the room 😜 We had breakfast included which was worth it lots of beautiful fresh pastries, scrambled eggs, bacon, cheeses etc etc. Which set us up for the day. We were able to access all the major attractions, Eiffel Tower, arc de triomphe etc via the metro. A single one way ticket takes you anywhere within paris for €1.90 or you can buy 10 tickets for €14.50 All in all we found our stay to be pleasant and would stay here again for the location. There is a supermarket about 1 min away which you can get snacks etc. Thank you for making our stay lovely.

This is a lovely hotel, very personal, very comfortable, very peaceful. How could it not be with its own garden, and right across the street from a park, Rene Le Gall? We have finally found our Paris hub. The13th arr. is quiet, but there are lots of restaurants and cafes within an easy walk from Le Vert-Galant (should you ever stray from the hotel's own delicious Basque restaurant, where even President Macron has eaten). It's close to the Metro, the Paris bus (a one-bus ride from the Gare de Lyon). The staff were invariably helpful, friendly, English-speaking, and part of the great charm of this delightful place. Our room had a tiny, discreet kitchenette, so if one had a baby, it would be perfect. (We just used it for luggage storage.) Wondeful, stylish, comfy modern showers in spacious bathrooms. Tables and chairs for soaking up the sun or having tea in the garden. Oh, it's the perfect Paris hotel! We'll be back for sure.

I'm giving this property a near-perfect score of 5, since 4.5 not an option. I have stayed at two other 2-star hotels in Paris. The rooms are basic and often old, but are fine if you don't plan on spending much time in your room. So coming to the Belambra, I didn't have high expectations. But I was pleasantly surprised! The hotel was renovated (I heard 12 years ago?), and it was modern and tastefully decorated. First off, let's talk about the staff. From the check-in with Jean, to assistance received from both Suzanna and Khiera, to Nicole in the kitchen, to the new night-time front desk employee, all were extremely pleasant, helpful and accommodating. I didn't find some of the housekeepers to be as friendly, unfortunately. And one morning I left a note (in French) with a very basic request, but they ignored it. I had to ask front desk staff to ask housekeeping. Re my room, I loved it. I had a single with a double bed, facing the street. Yes, the room is small, but the little entrance hall made it feel more spacious. I actually had a shower stall large enough to move my entire body without banging my elbows, lol. Bathroom was clean and modern. Towels good too. I appreciated and used the in-room safe. The heater near the bed was not working, so I just cranked the one in the bathroom up and left the door open to let the heat escape. They also had a space heater available in the room. All good. It was relatively quiet and the bed was quite comfortable. The only negatives are walls are quite thin, and as several people have already mentioned here, only one electrical plug (so I had to choose between the heater or charging my phone). Another one higher-up for the tv, but didn't feel feel like hopping on a stool. As someone else suggested here....I wonder if the hotel could find some way to keep the room doors from slamming loudly. On the subject of noise, I had some incredibly loud neighbours who would talk loudly in the halls at night. They were loud in their room too, as I could also hear them two doors down. I brought this to the attention of front desk, and they were very accommodating by offering me a room change, or suggested I let the front desk know when it next happens and they will deal with it. Re breakfast, better than I expected. It would be nice if eggs were offered every day though, and throwing in a second hot item would be great, ie, bacon, potatoes, fried tomatoes, etc. There is a water cooler near front desk to fill your bottle. Also, their patio in the courtyard would be nice to eat breakfast on in the summer. This is in a walkable area. About 40 mins to Place St Michel. Metro a 7-min walk away. Cost to take the Metro to CDG was 10.30€, or book their shuttle service in advance for 18€. Overall, a very pleasant stay and I would have no problem recommending it to friends and clients. TIP: my single room faced the street, but I also had a chance to view one facing the courtya

I want to first start off by saying that this hotel is very close to the metro, the nearby shopping center, restaurants, bakeries, etc. You pretty much have everything you need within walking distance. The room was a bit small but very clean which we appreciated. The TV in the room was nice to watch the news in the morning during breakfast. Our booking price on the website included the breakfast, otherwise it is 12 euro per person. The first two mornings of our stay we ordered it to the room and on the final morning we ate downstairs. I was a little surprised to see how many more options were available downstairs, but weren't made available to us on the menu used to order to our room. We had no idea there was sliced meat, cheese, eggs, cereal, etc. I think it would be nice to add those items to the breakfast menu that is brought to the rooms. My only other complaint is the kitchen staff at the breakfast buffet were a bit rude to us. We sat in a booth that was located close to the kitchen and the young lady with the dark red colored hair complained directly to us for choosing to sit there. If the table isn't for guests, maybe put a sign indicating that? Towards the end of our meal, she stood there staring at us with a not so friendly look on her face, probably waiting for us to leave. We felt like a nuisance and couldn't really enjoy our breakfast. As someone who has worked several years prior in the hospitality industry, I was a bit shocked. I would definitely consider staying again if we can order the full menu to the room to avoid the hostile experience.

Me and my partner have recently returned from a 3 night stay at this budget Parisian hotel and staying here was an enjoyable & pleasant experience! Our room was small but had everything we needed with an extremely comfortable bed & modern bathroom. My only complaint regarding the room would be that it was a little dark and could do with more lighting. During our stay at this hotel all staff I encountered spoke very good English and were always happy to help. They made my trip more enjoyable. In terms of travel, the hotel is only a 15 minute metro journey away from many major tourist attractions such as the Eiffel Tower, Louvre museum & Notre Dame cathedral whilst being around 40-45 minutes via Metro from CDG Aeroport. Hotel des Ecrivains is situated at Place d'Italie within the 13th arrondissement and is surrounded by plenty of restaurants, bakeries and supermarkets etc. This area however isn't touristy so can be daunting if your not willing to have a go at speaking basic French. If your looking for a budget hotel option in the inner city centre of Pairs with a non touristy feel then this is one you should certainly consider. I will be staying again on my next visit to Paris.

I had a corner room and these are a bit bigger then the others but according the paris principles this was big! I am travelling to paris quite often and now choosed to stay on the other side of the river and really not a disappointment! The location is perfect, you can walk to the heart of paris and i was able to park my car just in front of the hotel. The room is clean, modern and sound proof. I slept with the window open and as it is located on the mainstreet it is a bit nosy. They breakfast is all fresh but not too expanded still everyone can find something to eat. Staff is really kind and helpfull. Elevator is small but that normal in paris too :)!

Visiting from Geneva we spent three nights in the top floor 2-bedroom apartment. It is really very nice, the best we've ever had in Paris in fact. Balcony with sufficient room for three to have a meal, facing the courtyard. Bedrooms face the other side on the side street. Nicely appointed, modern amenities. Air conditioning. The kitchen has a large fridge and is quite well appointed. We could cut up some fruits in the morning to enjoy and keep a bottle of Champagne cool for early evening. Very friendly and discreet staff. The one negative thing one might want to note is the quality of the sofa, which is not very comfortable, perhaps simply because it's also a bed sofa. Overall we'd be very happy to stay here again. This is way above the norm in Paris and is highly recommended.

This is a cute little hotel in the 13th arrondissement of Paris. The staff was wonderful; they were friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the fashion theme as it was different from other hotels. They have a room to keep your luggage if you arrive before your room is ready. There was a young man at the front desk a couple of the days we were there who was extremely helpful with getting me my tickets for Versailles as I was having some trouble with the computer. I didn't get his name, but he went above and beyond to help me. There was one housekeeper who seemed annoyed that we were still there when she came to clean the room one day, and she asked me something in French that I didn't understand, but I just needed her to slow down. I asked her to slow down, but she assumed I didn't really know any French or only the basics. I was just about to tell her we were leaving in ten minutes, but I didn't get the chance. I will continue to work on my French so I understand better when I go back. The hotel is close to two metro stations on Metro 6 (and also Metro 7 at Place d'Italie). The Italie Deux shopping center is close by. There is an HSCB Bank in Place d'Italie, and not too far from the circle is a Franprix grocery store. There is an open air market two days a week (I think) that is just outside the hotel. It is not far from the Butte aux Cailles neighborhood, and there are a few restaurants and cafes nearby. We had some trouble figuring out the automatic dimmer for the light, but it makes for a funny story. My girls and I also enjoyed breakfast very much. I think the hotel could probably use a little updating and I might have liked the pillows to be a little fluffier, but overall it was nice. I appreciated everyone there very much, and I liked the neighborhood and would absolutely stay there again. We also felt very secure there.

The location is very good, the traffic is very convenient, the subway station is at the door, there is a big Carrefour next to it, it is very convenient to buy the ingredients, and it is very close to the Chinese restaurant. The waiter's attitude is very friendly, the apartment door is closed and managed, there is access control and access is required, and the card needs to be swiped. Free coffee and tea is available in the lobby on the first floor. The room is not big, the sparrow is small, well-organized, has full kitchen facilities, and there is no problem in starting a partnership. There is also a laundry room in the public area, which is very convenient for washing clothes.

The hotel location is very good, very close to the Arc de Triomphe, a five minute walk to the subway station can also take a direct bus to and from Charles de Gaulle and Orly Airport. Facilities breakfast also fully reached the four-star standard, the gym is relatively small. The front desk is more enthusiastic. There is a little brother who can speak Chinese, which makes communication more convenient.

Stayed at the B&B hotel for three nights while visiting Disney. Anyone looking for a cheap place to stay this is perfect. Hotel is spotlessly clean, really friendly staff, good sized rooms with comfortable beds and shower room. The hotel serves a simple dinner of pasta or pizza which is great, easy to order and quick to come. Breakfast is simple but just want you need at the start of the day. Tables were cleared quickly and everything very clean and presented well. We were worried about the shuttle overcrowding but there are a few services which only run from the B&B hotel and others which go to the other four hotels on the complex which makes it easy. We always got on a bus even if it was busy and never had to wait long! Lockers are available to store luggage if your arrive before your room is ready or check out early. We will be back on our next disney trip!

For the first time in a hotel model, the century-old building is said to be a historical cultural relics protection unit in Paris, so it is completely banned. My old cigarette can only smoke in a small yard. Miss Luo is very enthusiastic, let us have the feeling of going home. There is a black guy in night shift who speaks Chinese very well. He said that he read a book in Guangzhou. In the morning, the girl named Marty also speaks Chinese. There is no problem at all, and at the same time give us a lot of advice on the tour, much stronger than those that are not reliable. It is very convenient to exit the subway 50 meters away. This area is a safe place for French people to live in. The room is big enough to be the floor-to-ceiling glass window in Europe. Our bedroom is very close to the yard, so the living room is a bit noisy. It is highly recommended to add a Chinese breakfast. It is really not suitable for those cheese breads, and it is better to have Chinese TV. If you have the opportunity to come back to Paris, you will still come to the Paris Residence.

Good location, nearby Carrefour, franprix and other supermarkets! I live on the 2nd floor facing the street, and it is very quiet at night, but the sound insulation between the room and the room is really average. The room is not large and has a balcony (not every room, so it is best to leave a message to tell the room with a balcony when booking) ), There is also a door in the bathroom sharing a balcony with the room, so the balcony is quite large. The hotel only provides shampoo, shower gel and hair dryer. Slippers, toothbrushes and toothpaste are not provided, so it is recommended to bring your own toiletries. Lines 7 and 10 are only 5 minutes' walk from the surrounding area. Line 4 is about 15 minutes away. The 5th district is a Latin area, surrounded by universities, so it is safe! The hotel has access control locks, staff need to help open the door to enter! Breakfast is an ordinary western-style breakfast, bread, milk, eggs, oatmeal, sausage and cheese. A tax of 1.88 euros per person per night, which must be paid to the front desk when checking out. This Ctrip will also call you when you are in China to inform you that this tax must be paid to the hotel separately! The hotel provides free wlan, but the Internet speed is average, the room has air conditioning and heating. In short, the price is high!

We got a beautiful Junior Suite with Balcony, even in the city and on a street with traffic located, it was very quiet and you couldnt hear anything from outside while the doors are closed. It is very spacious and with a very pretty bathroom with luxury amenities from Hermés! And of course full equipped mini bar with Nespresso coffee machine. The breakfast is delicious and a mix from a la carte and buffet, what I love. So you can have everything what your heart desire. The best is the amazing Akasha Spa!! It is so big and has everything, big indoor pool, big sauna, big steam bath, big jacuzzi and a cold bath. Even if they are many relax beds to lay on, sometimes you are just alone and its like you have a private spa. Friendly and helpful staff all around the hotel! I definitely will return!
