There are 3 major budget 3 Stars hotel in KL Sentral - 1. Summer View, 2. Sentral Hotel & 3. Scott Hotel Summer View would be my first choice - it is close to the Monorail Station Tun Smabanthan, some nice eateries (Anak Baba – Kuala Lumpur - a MICHELIN, highly recommended - clean & delicious right next door to the hotel). The service at this hotel is marvelous, really down to earth front desk assistants, pleasant helpful security guards, room is good & clean. Bed and pillows are comfortable. The only thing it does not have is a mini refrigerator (so for a long stay, not really great), no iron in the room but they do provide water in the room. Sentral Hotel, is just right next to Train station, front desk is good, welcoming but water is from a Coway Fountain by the lift and the Iron is a communal one. Bed is a bit hard, pillows are okay. Bathrooms are good Scott Hotel - Has all in the room, clean and etc but what it doesnt have is Service, can be rude at times, dont respond well to feedback and Its never safe tp walk around that are or too the hotel. In the past - guests have been mugged on thier way bag to the hotel.

I have started to stay at this hotel since it was built several years ago. And I even gave excellent review due to the location, cleanliness, service etc. But my last stay at July 2022 was the worst ever stay and I won't return. To start with the review, let see the room,I was assigned at room 201, it is dirty and the door lock has been broken and nobody change the new one, then I have to request another room. They put me on fifth floor room 501, this room window screen is broken and it can not be pulled up so the room was dark forever. Then the towels, look at the pictures that I attach in my review, torn and it is a shame, how can the management let those simple things happen. If the pandemic situation made them unable to change new ones, then how much does the cost for towels? The housekeeping will clean your room after 4 PM, and I have requested to clean it earlier, but they said they have a lot of rooms to clean and got only one housekeeping staff. The worst thing about fifth floor was the ***********. There are two or three rooms at fifth floor infested with longterm stay of *********** inside the room (room 502). Man coming in and out the room brought by a fat chinese guy and the girl standing with bikini at door to welcome the guests. I will never return to this hotel at all, except all those *********** have moved out.

Excellent location at Central Station, every time you can walk from Central Station to the hotel. But there are many Indians around, and the desk attendants are basically Indians. The bed sheet pillow was a bit dirty and he was better at the position. In the other store of MY HOTEL, there is an OLD TOWN WHITE COFFEE. The steamed egg in the scorpion is especially suitable for me. It is much better than the usual sweet and sour Malay dish. It is the picture of that restaurant.

On the 28 Jan night i came back from a wedding dinner approximately 2300hrs and unable to enter to my room to do the scan card issues, i came down to the main desk and nobody was around.. i waited more then 20mins for someone to attend to me..There were few other people waiting for the same reason. i try to call the hotel number and nobody were around to answer it too, but its stated 24 hours deskhelp!!! Its was a very unprofessional attitude of staff, because no sorry were asked and when i highlighted the issues the way she answer that only 1 staff was on night duty. Management pls address this issues..

There is a convenience store Seven Eleven near the hotel. And there is my favorite coffee shop Old Town White Coffee near the hotel as well.

Its a small hotel/inn which is located right opposite Nu Sentral. 1-2 min walking distance from KL sentral Monorail Station. Got a very early check in at 11am, the receptionist is very friendly and helpful. Even-though its a small hotel/inn, but their services given is outstanding. If you are not a picky traveller, this will be one of the best choice. We booked a room with a queen size bed for 2 nights, the room is clean and with basic amenities and little fridge provided. But one thing is that we requested a window room but there is a window looking glass wall which is eventually not a window, can view outside and sunlight barely shines in. Other than that, all are good! There is one accident happen, i assume there is a miscommunication between the staff, they accidentally open our room door at 7am without knocking or calling, which shocked us. Luckily with the door lock hooked. The staff apologized genuinely until we ask him to leave. Other than that, overall our staying experience with this hotel is good!

Great location and access to the KL metro. I availed a room with breakfast. It was worth it! The staff is accommodating and the room is spacious enough for luggage as well. They do not have a restaurant inside the hotel but a separate restaurant in front of the hotel. They will give you a voucher which you can give to the restaurant in front. You can choose from their menu, which was great! They also have a laundry shop on the ground floor which is very affordable. Recommended!

Stayed on the 11th floor. the hotel is strategically located within the city area, and easily accessible to places such as Bukit Bintang, TRX, KLCC, all by the MRT. The hotel is rather clean (except for 1 point) moderately maintained. The chair at the dressing table had some tears, making sitting on it a little uncomfortable. I also noticed at the shelf where they kept the additional pillow, had a thick layer of dust behind. The toilet is equipped with shower gel and shampoo only, so please bring your own toiletries. But given for the price point, i wouldnt expect much, i would still its worth going if you just need a place to crash at night. I might consider coming to this hotel on trips where i just need a lodging.

Location is great as it is just across Nu Sentral Mall but you need to use a lift or escalator to go down not far from the Loaf or Family Mart. Finding your meals is easy too as there is an ABC food centre just next to the hotel and plenty of choices in the mall itself. As for transport, it’s a breeze as you can either take Grab, LRT or MRT to malls, & KLIA express to the airport etc.

Cempaka Hotel By Majestic 13
3.1/510 Reviews

The hotel should be renovated from an old residence. The lobby is very splendid. In addition to the counter, there is a self-service registration machine and lemonade as a welcome drink. There is often only one waiter at the counter, but he is polite. There is a big gap between the decoration of the room and the lobby. The decoration of the room is old, the yellow split-type air conditioner makes a whirring sound, the bathroom floor has stains that cannot be removed, and the pillowcases also have the same problem. Fortunately, they are stained but not odorless. There is no toothpaste or toothbrush provided in the room. The triple room has a spacious space, a microwave, a refrigerator, a thermos, and a swimming pool on the ground floor. There is a free Go KL bus near the hotel, but the route takes you around residential areas and is not worth taking. It takes 10-15 minutes to walk to Aeon and is connected to Sunway Velocity via the subway underground passage. These two shopping malls can solve shopping and dining problems. Take the Green Line of the Metro to Exit D of Maluri Station (Aeon), go straight, pass the bus stop and the intersection. Overall, the price of the hotel and the convenience nearby are not high and it is worth staying.

Nice suite in a good location. Booked the room for two nights. After checking in at 6 AM I had to change rooms at noon. That was a little bit inconvenient. This hotel doesn't have a front desk. For checking in and checking out you have to call a number and someone is coming 10 to 15 minutes later. When leaving, I was checking out at 5 AM to catch an early flight. I called and waited 20 minutes but nobody came. When I called the number again, the same person, sounding very sleepy answered. He probably fell asleep again after the first call. Finally 15 minutes later somebody came to check me out and return the security deposit.

The hotel is very close to the Pavillion, the famous Damascus shawerma, a bar street area with many restaurants, too, and just about 50m from Raja Chulan Monorail station, room and bathroom are spacious and tidy and the management at the front desk very friendly and helpful e.g. with storing the luggage before and after checking in/out. Water heater is a bit outdated but worked well. Only negative thing is the noise from the ventilation of the building next door. Fortunately it was switched of about 10:30pm , but also started early again next morning.

Had a great experience staying at Lloyd's Inn KL at Jalan Kamuning. Did not manage to plan for a year-end break to get away from work and other commitments. This holiday came at the right time. You don't have to plan much. Just pack your bags, book a ticket (or just drive in) and you will make a good holiday. To many of us, eating and shopping meant a lot in holidays. This is what made my stay at Llyod's Inn KL most enjoyable! The location is good - it is located at the door step of the new TRX Exchange Mall, you would be spoilt for choices in eating and shopping. The hotel design is contemporary and environmentally friendly. The hotel lobby and rooms take in a lot of natural light. Plants and greenery are generously featured too! The staff are friendly, they will make sure your needs are well taken care of an their response has been prompt and effective. Besides the TRX Exchange Mall, there are lots to discover around the hotel. Walking around the hotel, I found many coffee shops and restaurants selling traditional KL food such as bah kut teh, char kway teow, chicken rice or laksa. There are also many new eateries in the form of boutique cafe, mee tarik and seafood restaurants. The durian shop had a lot of customers when I walked past it.

Our stay, although only the 1 night started badly from the moment we arrived. We discovered the hotel has no reception in the lobby. I was instructed to message the host & he would come & meet & greet us. After being kept waiting for 35 minutes I messaged again asking if this is normal & got a reply ”it is for us” then I suggested they shouldn't keep guests waiting to which I received another reply of ”it's called queue, not waiting. I then received a message from a different number who then presented himself to my wife & I which my wife said to her surprise he had been sitting outside opposite her for the past 20 minutes. He then showed us to our room which we found very spacious & quite comfortable. We were then asked for payment which I produced my credit card only to be told cards were not accepted, only cash. Having just flown in from Thailand we were not carrying a lot of local currency on us. What hotel in a large bustling city does not offer credit card facilities. This was a first for us. I then had to proceed in trying to find a nearby ATM without luck. I received numerous messages & calls from the gentleman with him even coming to our room at 10.30pm to collect payment which at this time I explained I hadn't found any so would have to make payment next morning. This is totally unacceptable. The room itself although nice lacked basic amenities which included no soap in the bathroom, only a half roll of toilet tissue which I had to go & buy extra, no bath mat or hand towels, tea or coffee facilities, a TV with no working channels tuned in. Overall our stay was disappointing & I probably wouldn't consider staying here again unless these issues were addressed.

We arrived at reception with a room booked months before. We had booked on Agoda. Star Residences Art Apartment KL, owner Alexander Polyakov, 5 nights. At the reception which is not a real reception but a station for the security guards, they tell us that we have to call the host. We send him a message on whatsapp and he doesn't respond even after viewing it. He also ends calls. Thanks to the kindness of the guard at the reception who lent us his phone, we immediately contacted Agoda. The host doesn't seem to be responding to them either. Moral cancellation of reservation. The option offers refund or other accommodation. We ask to find us another accommodation. In the meantime, time passes and it is getting dark. Do not book with this host, he is not serious at all. While waiting, I open the booking app and find a room in a residence that on the map seems very close to where we were. I pay in cash and I book. Residence klcc which fortunately are apartments in the usual building of the first. So there's no need to move. Fingers crossed in the hope that the host responds this time. He responded, came immediately and saved the day for us. Since it was 5pm on the same day, the price was really discounted. Agoda refunded us immediately. Apartment, nice, spacious, clean. Mitiu (I don't know if his name is spelled like that) was very helpful, he even got us a pot to cook pasta. The Petronas in sight, panoramic swimming pool on the attic, central area. I recommend this residence but please do not book apartments owned by Alexander in residence star one because you risk sleeping on the street. Opt for klcc residences and possibly with Mitiu which is a guarantee.

Online booking is not true. What we saw online it's not what we get. The house looks beautiful in the picture but when we go and open the house it's different one. We are Singapore we keep the country clean so what type of must we get . Beware of some humans like very clean even the furniture carpets utensils and etc etc. I'm afraid to book apartments online from now . What can you all do on this. You all jus take the money or we pay only half. After we view and stay the balance we pay on that 1st day if not the apartment cards can be seized by unable to use. Hope my idea can be relieved for others who wants the apartment very clean and classy. Thank you M Khaleel

Bukit Jalil
Kuala Lumpur
|12.59km from city center
This is a relatively new property located directly adjacent (or across the street, depending on how you look at it) to one of the newest attractions in Bukit Jalil, i.e. Pavilion 2. The hotel itself is situated within a retail mall known as Aurora Place, with multiple eateries and shop-lots available here, in addition to hundreds more at Pavilion, for the benefit/convenience of those who stay here. This was my first ever visit to Bukit Jalil... and to summarize the review of my two-night stay here, below are the major pros and cons of this hotel, based on my personal observations: Pros: 1. As mentioned in my 1st paragraph above, the location is extremely strategic. F&B places are easily accessible and mostly within walking distance. Plus, a simple matter of crossing a pedestrian walkway to get to the Pavilion Mall. 2. The rooms (or suites) here easily cater for travelers with small families, with two beds in each unit. 3. This being a relatively ”new” hotel, most of the furniture and fittings still look pretty new or are in good condition. 4. Lastly, the rooftop swimming pool offers a nice view of the surroundings (and also as far as the KL city skyline). Cons: 1. Probably the biggest letdown of staying here was the fact that the hotel does not subsidize parking fees for their guests; the reason being that the car park belongs to the Aurora Place mall and is therefore not under the hotel's management. However, with no other free or cheaper options available within the hotel's vicinity, the parking fees per day (and per night) do contribute a significant addition to your hotel fees here! 2. The hotel management also needs to put in more emphasis on pest control. I have managed to see ants and other ”creepy crawlies” either within my unit or outside at the corridors.

My recent stay at The Establishment KL Sentral by Loop Suites on the 33rd floor was nothing short of spectacular. The room provided a spacious retreat equipped with all the amenities one could desire, including a pool and sauna, making it a truly indulgent experience. Spacious Serenity: From the moment I entered the room, the sense of space was immediately apparent. The layout was thoughtfully designed, providing ample room to move around comfortably. The complete facilities, including the pool and sauna, added an extra layer of luxury to the overall stay. Sky-High Views: The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the breathtaking views from the 33rd floor. During the day, the panorama offered a picturesque scene, but it was during the night that the magic truly unfolded. The city lights created a mesmerizing spectacle, turning the view into a dynamic and vibrant display. Cash Deposit Notice: One thing to note is that the hotel requires a cash deposit upon check-in to cover potential incidental expenses. While this was mentioned in advance, I appreciated the transparency and openness about the policy. It's always helpful for guests to be aware of any additional financial requirements before arriving at the hotel. To make the check-in process even smoother, I would recommend future guests prepare the required cash amount in advance. This way, you can avoid any last-minute inconveniences and start your stay on a positive note.

The room deco was kinda old and worn out, tiles of bath tub was broken with tape covering, curtains was stained with brown patches, wall ceiling was torn with water dripping, condition of the room was quite bad. The gd things are, shopping mall are just downstairs, with supermarkets and eateries, 7-11 etc..very convenient! Hope they will refurbish their rooms so that more customers willing to return back to stay. I would rather book and stay at the hotel instead of apartment. LOCATION   About 2 min walk from the busy pubstreet in Bukit Bintang, the building itself is unique, whitewashed with an attractive façade of verandahs and wall-sized glass amidst the neighboring towers.   LOBBY   The style is simple, minimalistic, modern and functional.   SERVICE   We stayed about 3 days after the hotel commenced operations, so it was stunning and sublime to use the new rooms. The room we had was a virgin room, as everything was unopened, unused. Security good and parking available. Restaurant not yet in use during stay. The chinese desk clerk was very helpful, professional and kind. He even helped us carry luggage to our uber on check-out.   ROOMS   We were upgraded to family room as the standard rooms were fully occupied. The open wardrobe plan design with lots of storage space is a plus for travellers. All the sockets were internationally adaptable and fitted with USB ports, meaning no need to bring and borrow. Well Done!   The wallpaper was a large black and white photograph of the community life from the past, splashed with bright yellow paint at certain spots. The grey+white+yellow carpet matched the painting adding warmth and comfort to our toes. The bed was X-Large, super comfy and a torment to leave. The night lamp was beautifully designed.   Bathroom clean complete with Borneo products and amenities (eco-friendly using recycled paper) while laundry bag and slippers provided. There is a tea and coffee with 8 sugars but only 2 creamers, would need to add more.      As it was the last day of the year 2019, we raced to the roof to see the midnight fireworks from the KL tower. We were amongst a small crowd of couples and friends wishing peace, health and prosperity for the world.    SUMMARY   Would highly recommend! CITY OASIS!
