At station ticket office to buy train ticket to parma 7.35 euros pp takes about a hours journey. At parma station come out of entrance turn left the Astoria hotel 20mins walk. Reception very helpful took us in their bus to the apartments 7mins. Apartments right in the centre. Lift to 4th floor room 82, just as we asked. Room quite big 2 big windows overlooking the main street no traffic and overlooking roof tops can see the churches. Perfect No kettle No english channels cannot open safe and in shower no where to put flannel soap shower gel and shampoo, bit awkward. Rang reception 3 times about tv kettle and safe still waiting reply. Outside turn right you on the main drag, garibaldi square all shops there, cross road is where most people eat. They are rental rooms on a first floor of an apartment building. The location is brilliant, right on the edge of the old town. Decent amenities, but the room itself is a bit worn, the mattresses are too soft and the floor is quite cold, if you decide to stay there I would take some slippers with me :). The cleaner was very polite and considerate. No breakfast unfortunately!

What an amazing find!! I had to make a last minute reservation for a room and the staff was so accommodating. The coffee is great in the morning and the view from the veranda was so spectacular, it is not centrally located but was a slice of heaven with the surrounding area. I loved the windows in the room too. I can’t tell you how nice the people at this hotel were. Thank you Francesco for helping me with the check in and the amazing Lambrusco! Ciao! Until next time my friends!!

Elena Ciotti has created a paradise at her property in Parma. The 200 year-old totally renovated inn is beautiful, peaceful and quiet. The extensive gardens, pool and patio areas are all designed for serenity and relaxation. Each day at Villino starts will an amazing traditional Italian breakfast over which you will want to linger for an extended period of time. Elena greets guests at each table with a delightful smile and "buon giorno!" She brings you all the coffee you care to drink - cappuccino, espresso, cafe Americano. I highly suggest you also sign up for one or two cooking classes that are taught by Elena. We had a wonderful time learning how to make hand-made gnocchi and pasta, melanzane di parmigiana, beef involtini, as well as sides dishes and desserts. The cooking classes are family affairs as Elena's delightful daughters help out in the kitchen and one of her sons is called upon to fetch fresh herbs from the garden. After five nights at Villino di Porporano we felt like part of the family.

The service is exceptional, rooms comfortable and functional. It’s set back from a busy street so no road noise is heard anywhere even during rush hour. The hotel’s restaurant is adequate, even better for breakfast. Turn left out the drive for a very short hop to the Autostrada del Sole (A1). Think instead of turning right for a stroll (less than 3 km) straight into Parma’s center. At first it’s noisy and frenetic but after the railway underpass automobiles are replaced by bicycles then streets completely closed to traffic taking you among town’s older, historic places. Parma’s center offers genuinely good dining options even in its most touristed parts. Coming late may be particularly gratifying; the streets nearly empty, peacefully leaving you among stately buildings that are nicely illuminated.

Superior location. The hotel has good facilities. In front of the gate is the river. It's safe, too. I do a lot of running in the morning. Next to it is a new shopping mall. Later, I found that there are many noodles to eat. You can also see the scenery outside. Very good.

The name belies the location of this superb small hotel converted with style from former farm granary stores. The hotel has been converted with great design flair and an architect's understanding of what hotel guests really need rather than just an excuse for every modern, mysterious plumbing fitting of which the world can conceive. It is located some 3 miles east of Parma on a winding country lane not far from the small airport and the veterinary university. City hotel it is not! The fully glazed exterior overlooks well-tended gardens in which pet rabbits and hens freely roam. There are footballs for the energetic to kick around as well cycles to ride and a fitness centre at first-floor level. Sleep quality assured as the hotel is peacefully situated. Everything reeks of contemporary quality. The welcome is very good - as is the food in the popular, minimalist restaurant. Best of all, the hotel offers free parking as well as very good value. Must stay again, soon!

This hotel is not very good looking inside the path. There is a free parking space, but the neighborhood is very desolate and it feels very unsafe. There is no monitoring and stop for a night. Never put anything in the car. His breakfast was very good. A bottle of orange juice was also packed before leaving.

We don’t often stay at B&Bs but I’m glad we didn’t give La Luna nel Pozzo a pass! It’s a little way off from the city center, which makes it a nice, quiet place to unwind. The air here is fresh, and there’s an open area out back to kick back and unwind over a light meal. Our hosts were so hospitable that it felt like home. Decor is old rustic charming, and definitely something to look out for. Extremely clean too - really well-maintained. We got a room on the top floor, which pretty much got us a private bathroom, 2 bedrooms with a king sized bed each. The beds were super comfortable - excellent mattresses - did not notice when my partner move. Hot running water meant we came home to a proper hot bath every evening. Breakfast is homemade, prepared freshly by our hosts, and the mini pizzas are to die for (I’m on a low carb diet and broke it because they were that good!) Being an old farmhouse, visitors will want to know this - 1. It’s far off from the city center enough that you’ll want to come and go in a rental car. 2. If you come in a rental, have a small suitcase with the stuff you’ll need for the stay or you’ll end up hauling a large suitcase up 3 floors. Nonetheless, this B&B is a must-stay if you’re ever in the area. It is a wonderful experience in and of itself, highly recommended!

Very comfortable room with good facilities. Great value. As an international traveller, my only criticism is the lack of English-speaking TV channels. There are over 100 satellite channels, including several German-speaking, French-speaking and even Chinese-speaking. Hotel satellite packages usually also include a small selection of UK channels. I'm sure this would be attractive to non-UK travellers too. Great to have a coffee machine in the room but many countries also drink tea. No tea bags or larger cup for tea.

We stayed here during expo. Prices were high. Room is ok. Dirty windows and curtains. Nice bed. Nice pillows. Clean bathroom. Very poor breakfasts. No vegetables. No cereals. Cheap tea and coffee. I think should be better proposals for such price. 3. Km from city. Very quiet place in the village. If you want to have the rest and don’t care about price and food it is for you. I do not recommend

A very poor stay experience, the hotel is in a good location, five minutes walk from Milan Cathedral, but the hotel service is really average, especially the two female executives in the restaurant, went to breakfast three days during the stay, never with us Say hello, expressionless. This is not the case for non-Chinese tourists. Instead, the waiters in the restaurant were more enthusiastic and smiling. On the second day of check-in, we also painted the wall and did not notify the guests in advance, so that the children's clothes became dirty when they walked. The most annoying thing is that the hotel ’s scheduled visit to Da Vinci ’s “Last Supper” costs 50 Euros. Five-year-olds are also charged in full (but in Europe, five-year-olds are basically free) Since the fee was notified by phone, there was no written confirmation, but the fare printed on the tickets we received was 15 Euros, so that we did not know this until check-out. The hotel explained that this is a VIP service and this charge is totally unreasonable.

[Location] Super convenient. The airport train is just a five-minute walk from the Central Station. [Service] Check-in at the front desk will take the initiative to call for procedures. [Room] The theme is red and black. The rooms are not large but they are generally the same in Europe. The shower in the bathroom is particularly flush. The air conditioner is very cool. There are hair dryers. The floor-to-ceiling windows are facing the train station. [Characteristics] Breakfast and dinner are included, I feel very rich, there is a drink for breakfast, there is no waiter at dinner to ask if you need it, foreigners order more, white rice for dinner and some dishes are salty, and fruits, mainly worry about the day The unsafe black out of the house happened to be solved in the hotel. [Note] Dinner must go to the lobby bar on the first floor to pick up the roll, indicating whether it is to be eaten at 7:00 or 8:00, and the actual meal at 7:00 is half past six. [Details] The lobby on the first floor does not need to go down the stairs. There are public spaces in the lobby. There is a sofa lounge and a small bar. In the early morning, there are two sofas on the basement floor to sit and wait. [Overall] High cost performance is recommended.

Honeymoon + Birthday Trip: • Upgraded to Executive Suite (Pleasant surprise , much appreciated 🙏🏻) • Champagne & Fruit Tart/Cake on compliments (Thankful 🙂) • Was informed by Front Office personnel whom guided us to our room that everything from the minibar were complimentary. However, we were charged for consumption instead upon checking out. (2 different staffs for C/I and C/O) Attitude of staff assisting with our C/O could be improved as he ‘explained’ and gave us the same reply that “No, our minibar are never complimentary.” to our doubts. ** I’m a hotelier too and I believed better response could and should be extended for mentioned situation. ** Nonetheless , my husband and I paid for the additional charges without trying to be difficult as our ride to the airport had arrived too then . It was a modern yet stylish property overall with a little unpleasantness experienced towards the end of our stay .

Purtroppo non ho pernottato presso questa struttura in quanto la camera a me riservata era inagibile. Mi hanno dirottato in un hotel di fronte e di categoria superiore. Esperienza comunque ottima. The elevator in the hotel was really small and could only go in for two people. The front desk service was good. We arranged a large room on the first floor. It was heavy. No haha breakfast is rich, but it ’s been for three days. The hotel location is very good. There are a lot of sculptures in the subway station next to the subway station. It ’s very convenient to take the subway every day. The morning market is very lively and the fruits are cheap. The morning market goes further. There is an ice cream shop on the street corner. At noon, many foreigners buy that ice cream.

The hotel location is very good, only 7 minutes walk from the cathedral. If you want to get up early to take a picture of the church, do not miss this hotel. Each room has a separate small balcony. This is very good as an Italian chain of five stars. It has reached the international five-star standard. The entrance to the elevator has free sparkling water and mineral water every day. The hotel lobby is very artistic and the breakfast is relatively rich, but the European breakfast is not used to eating. Haha Hotel's capsule coffee machine is also very good. Characteristics of many five-star hotels in Europe are also good

I have stayed at this hotel in many room types, including standard rooms, executive rooms, standard apartments and superior apartments. If you are preparing to cook your own meals, then choosing an apartment is a good choice. The superior apartments are large in size, the horizontal and living rooms are two separate rooms and are very comfortable. If you are traveling alone, the executive room is also very good. The area is large and the living room is large. There is no sense of cramp. In summer, we will open the outdoor swimming pool, sunbathe, and read books in the sun. I always stay at this hotel every time I come to Milan, the price is moderate, about 8 minutes walk from TURRO subway red line, the traffic is relatively convenient. There is a small supermarket PENNY MARKET opposite, which is convenient and cheap. Especially the best thing is that every room type in this hotel has a large balcony, which is rare in Milan and super convenient.
