Already a regular customer here, choose this store every time you come. The best thing is the breakfast here, it is really attentive. The food is exquisite, with a wide variety of dishes, as well as some Mexican-inspired dishes with local specialties.

|9.61km from city centerStayed her one night as it has great proximity to Carlsbad Caverns National Park. The room was a standard Fairfield configuration and was clean. We noticed there was no soap provided in the room. When we called down to the front desk, they said they were out of supplies and they suggested that if we had brought our own personal shampoo, to use that as an alternative. Things did not get better when we went to breakfast. They were out of milk and creamer for coffee. Had not hot breakfast options and just a few packaged muffins, hard boiled eggs but no fruit (not even bananas or apples). The told me at checkin, since their occupancy was low, they would put us on the ”quiet side”. We locked out and could see train tracks. So we though maybe the highway noise was louder than the train. It was definitely not quiet as trains consistently passed by through the night. I inquired to General Manager Kelsey Swanson, but was told that ”supply chain issues” were to blame, and that their hands were tied. We checked-out and headed for Carlsbad Caverns. As a Gold Elite member, there was no recognition during the stay and essentially we were told to ”get over it” and due without soap inthe bathroom or any passable breakfast for the rate.

The managers were accommodating to my group needs, and went out of their way to ensure we were taken care of. Angela (the Lady at the front desk) listened to me gripe and without returning my frustration was able to free up a room. Nearby are the core values of the city-the Fine Arts Museum, the History Museum, the Cathedral, the Theater Square, and the Stadium. They are all a few hundred meters away. There are also trams for a ride. Social idlers are the main ones. The three mature steaks in the restaurant are great. The parking fee is not expensive. It would be a pity not to go to the Museum of Fine Arts.

They messed up the names on the reservation after confirming,they gave a huge run around rather than fix the issue. I am still pending my refund but you better off staying in a ditch than this placeUpdate:manager is dodging calls and still has not issued a refund, but will continue to follow up until issued already reached out to corporate but will do it again.

Room facilities are good, but not equipped with slippers, called the front desk and said that suites are required to have slippers. There is an outdoor swimming pool and gym on the 5th floor lobby. The only problem was that Ctrip prepaid but the hotel did not receive the payment during checkout. After contacting Ctrip customer service immediately, I agreed to repay at the hotel, and Ctrip refunded me later.

I reserved a room at the Marriott in El Paso on 1600 Airway Blvd. I left my room for breakfast and came back to my bed *****ped and all my personal items removed and some of them in the maids trash bin. This is ridiculous when I never checked out at the front desk nor was it even close to the check out time of 1pm. This was very inconvenient. There is no manager on staff. I had to sit in the lobby while they track down the maid who cleared out my room and embarrassing to have the made hand me my intimate items out of her trash can on her cart. I paid $159 for this? Absolutely, policy needs to change here. The maid said if she doesn't see a bunch of clothes in the room then they just start cleaning. It is 9am. Why are the maids not only cleaning rooms that people have confirmed they are checking out? Maids should not be going into rooms at 9am and just start cleaning them with no knowledge if paid guest will be returning. Very unsatisfied and embarrassed. I will be calling the manager Monday when she returns.

Stood waiting at the desk for 10 minutes for someone to appear to check us in, and when he did show up there was no apology for the delay. The first issue was that they couldn't find our reservation. We booked a king size room, thinking it would be a little larger than room for the bed but alas this was not the case. It was a king size bed, but there wasn't anywhere to even put a suitcase down. In addition, there were two measly standard size feather pillows on the bed, along with a ”decorative” pillow. The only item in the bathroom was conditioner (not sure why conditioner), and the water never got hot. The internet did not work in our room, and staff had no idea what to do to fix it and offered no solutions. We ended up checking out after just one night, and while it was late, about 3 pm, the front refused to check us out until the next morning, saying ”if I check you out now, it will show the room as available and it's not.” It was overall not an experience I would care to repeat and will find different accommodations if we find it necessary to return to El Paso.

The parent company, which is bigger than it, also lived, and felt that it was not as comfortable as it was too old. For so many years, Ctrip has not changed. The hotel is only 350 meters away from the airport, and it takes a few minutes to walk, not the 4.6 kilometers mentioned above. I uploaded a screenshot of Google Maps this time, hoping to correct it.

|8.9km from city centerI am hugely disappointed with this hotel. I cannot believe it is a Marriott. We checked in to the 2 bedroom unit for 5 nights as we are in the area for family. We likely will need to return a few times to clean out a house and we are looking for a place where we would be comfortable. This place was not cleaned thoroughly and maintenance was not up to date. The smoke detector kept going off and needed a new battery. So that was the first thing we called the front desk about. Then the bathroom, the shower curtain has fallen off, the bath tub and the sink do not drank properly. The kicker is that there are dishes in the dishwasher and they have molded. Who knows how long they have been in there. There is also only 1 thermostat for both the bedrooms and the living space. We were either freezing or too hot. I also did know there was a $10 fee for parking until I got my bill. Friends tell me that I should have complained more and maybe gotten some Marriott Bonvoy points or something, but I didn't. Huge disappointment.

|18.18km from city centerPositives: The housekeeping in Room 418 did an excellent job, super clean. Easy parking. Clean lobby and common places. Fast check-in and check-out. Breakfast was great, good variety, fresh, with good balance of hot and cold foods. Clean and organized. When Room 311 was terrible, they moved me to another room, Room 418, and 418 was a good experience. Clean bedding, two full rolls of toilet paper, and two tea bags in the room. Negatives: Can be noisy because it's next to a major highway. The check-in staff did not provide info on breakfast time or instruction to the elevator; also provided incorrect info about location and type of the room (said it's not near the elevator when it's right across from the elevator; said it's standard room when it's an accessible room). Room 311 was horrible - full of issues such as broken toilet/couldn't flush, bathroom plug was shut, couldn't open. Room telephone did not work; A small peel along the edge of the wall, that needs to be sealed back. Loose carpet, posing a potential trip over danger if not careful. This hotel would have earned at least 4.0 rating with Room 418. But because of terrible Room 311, which is a 1.0 rating, although the hotel tried to fix it, but it's inconvenient and tiring to have to go through it while traveling and after a long day. Because of inconsistent room quality, I am hesitant to recommend this hotel.

|14.52km from city centerWe stay here usually when we travel from CA to TX. The rooms are dated, but clean. The room we had #164, the Wi-Fi was worthless. It would eventually load, but never opened anything up, not even yahoo. Ended up having to use my hot spot. They did not have any handicap rooms with a King or 2 Queens, so we ended up in a regular room which worked ion the 1st floor. Last time we were they here they had a bag breakfast which really bad. This time they had a Jimmy Dean sausage & egg sandwich which was good. Do not understand why other Choice Hotels are back serving hot breakfast and this one is still in bag mode. Not happy that they have a resort fee for the pool and laundry and then a fee for the safe even if not used. These are just add on profit margins. Lower rating mainly do yo resort fees and no WiFi service.

At this location we got upgraded to a suite and were give a snack bag upon arrival. The only thing we notice was it was a bit noisy, all the hall noise and upper room could be heard… we thought it was weird we were on the 3rd floor, room 310. Business didn’t go as planned and had to stay another day, this time we got a room on the 2nd floor, room 204, maybe just our luck, But the room above us I believe, super noisy, just seemed like kids were running everywhere, or really big folks moving furniture , don’t know!!! again strange since we have been using holiday inn after we switched from La Quinta brand 2 years ago, and never never had a bad experience at the Holiday Inn, but this particular location seems to have a noice filter issue!!. Other than that…. This location is right by the shopping area we usually visit, super friendly staff, i got all my paperwork printed for my business with them, the rooms are really clean, the food is good, the beds are comfty, you can’t go wrong with Holiday Inn.

Rick the owner is an excellent man he goes above and beyond to make his guest feel safe and happy. My husband and I stayed for 4 nights that's how safe we felt. The parking lot is well lit up. If we ever go back threw El paso again that will be my place to stay. Thank you to the whole staff for a wonderful quite and safe place to stay.

However the 3rd floor hallway carpet was torn and peeling up in parts, which I was ok with, but the hallway had a strong urine smell...which is pretty gross. Room was clean. We were tired and left at 5:45am to continue our road trip. I was traveling witih my son, if I was with my wife, we would have gone to a different hotel.

|7.34km from city centerIf your elderly and or handicap parking is not so great at this hotel the rooms on on one side has no parking whatsoever and the other side is very limited, I requested an ground level room 1 1/2 weeks prior to my reservation It was not honored. The guest rooms was quite appealing to me because no carpet on the floors and the led lighting in the room. The breakfest was satisfactory but it is difficult to reach the serving area due to limited space. Table and chairs right next to the line. I give 3 stars because of the parking, and my request for a ground level room was not honored. Over all I would stay here again.

There are a number of La Quinta’s in El Paso., This one is the La Quinta Inn & Suites East, @ Yarbrough on gateway east. Anyway cleanliness is #1 and the rooms in this hotel are spotless. Bed’s are very comfortable, fixtures & furnishings look great! . Location is excellent with fast access to I-10 east & west and + quick drive to the airport. Walk a few feet over to Applebee’s to get a bite & have a drink without having to drive. The quality of a hotel usually starts at the top & Hotel manager CINDY is fabulous! .. she’s friendly, sharp & does an excellent job keeping this hotel looking great! Can’t forget Albert@ front desk, what a nice guy! It appears that everyone who works here is happy & most accommodating. Ps: housekeeping is excellent! Thanks! G. LoRusso
