|0.93km from city centerThe staff at Pavilion couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful in letting us change rooms and responding to requests. But this didn’t quite make up for the fact that this hotel is in need of some serious TLC. We noticed at reception a tourist excellence award from Trip Adviser from 2012, which is hardly current. On the plus side: The huge foyer area was pleasant and welcoming. The king bed was very comfortable which is the main thing, quality linen. Bathroom towels were plentiful and soft and the shower over the bath had a non-slip surface and a useful help rail to get in and out. What needs attention: The desk and table in both rooms we had were chipped, and the curtains somewhat old and worn. The darkish grey paint also did nothing to raise the energy of what was already a dark room (215) with a tree outside. No plugs were provided for the basin and the bath, though these were supplied on request The restaurant staff were great, but the chicken schnitzel we ordered was really disappointing and poor value at $35. We would also have appreciated a microwave being available, if not as standard on request, as in many hotels. Overall a disappointing experience we would not repeat.

|0.58km from city centerI booked a two-bedroom apartment. The room is large and spacious. The view of the hall is mountain view, very beautiful. Once inside the hall is the bar, the lights are dim, the music is delicious, the western food is there, the hotel is very big, the bar is just a few, there is also a movie theater. The decorations are all wood strips, I can't understand them, I feel special art. Both bedrooms have no windows and are just a bathroom. There are many kitchen utensils and many tableware. Breakfast is the kind of order. Very close to the city center, a quiet hotel. More than 2,000 a night, the front desk will not be Chinese, it is a hotel for foreigners. Canberra has a beautiful view and is especially suitable for living.

|0.44km from city centerAn apartment hotel in the city center area is very suitable for a large and small trip. It is convenient for taking care of each other. The sofa in the living room can be opened to make a bed. The open kitchen can provide 10 minutes of cooking convenience. The washroom is equipped with a washing machine and a dryer. There is a problem. You can find Ctrip's customer service to help communicate and solve the problem of language barriers. Very satisfied with the experience of staying in Canberra next time I will still choose this hotel 🏨

|0.53km from city centerIt’s because I’ve been studying in Canberra for a few years and I’m nostalgic. The hotel is in the city, the room is large, but the room service is just as good. There is a parking lot, 15 Australian dollars a night, slightly expensive but convenient. It takes only ten minutes to get to the city bus station. It is still very convenient.

|0.47km from city centerStayed for 4 nights on a family trip. We opted to go with Pinnacle due to its proximity to everything. Very close to restaurants, Coles is also just 2 mins drive away if you are staying longer and need groceries etc. On checking in we were informed we were staying in the other block which forms part of the premises however entry is via Leichardt St but was easy to navigate due to the directions given at reception. Can't fault the premises. We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment which was quite large, premises were clean and tidy. I would not hesitate recommending Pinnacle Apartments.

|0.83km from city centerWe knew this was one of the cheaper motels in Canberra - so didn’t expect the Ritz, but there were a few things that were just frustrating and make for a 3 star review. Between 2 couples we had 2 rooms, a twin Room that had 2 Double beds, and a family room that had a Queen Bed and bunks. For a four night stay the family room was definitely the preferable of the two as it was larger, lighter, and better equipped. The positives: Price, and the rooms were generally clean, the beds were comfortable. The outside area is simple but clean and tidy, no graffiti or anything. Good showers with lots of hot water. Surprisingly quiet given distance from main highway, and walking distance to a train stop. The negatives: The twin room was far too small to comfortably accomodate more than one couple. Although it came with a microwave / jug / toaster & cutlery & crockery it didn’t have anything required for actually using the microwave. No big bowl / microwave dish or anything, also no detergent or dishcloth - and although we asked these never appeared. So washing dishes is basically rinsing them in the bathroom hand-basin. Lighting was also appalling in the downstairs twin room, too dim at night to read anything as no overhead lighting. The shower also was missing a curtain so it was impossible to shower without drowning the whole bathroom. The family room was much better appointed and had a genuine kitchenette with everything required for both microwave and cook-top and its own sink + detergent. However the room STUNK of stale cigarette smoke so clearly the “No smoking sign” is often ignored. The doona cover was completely revolting in how badly it smelt of cigarettes - we did get this changed on request but it makes me wonder how often the covers are routinely changed. there is a free laundry with washer and dryer, but washer has some issues and it took 4+hrs to finish a cycle and let us get our washing out. Would be fine for a 1-2 night stay - but I wouldn’t do a 4 night stay here again.

|0.33km from city centerHaving stayed at the QT in Sydney we booked this one for our stay in Canberra and our room was very good. We were on the 11th floor in a Superior King and had a small balcony with views across Lake Burley Griffith and around to Black Mountain. The room was comfortable although the bathroom was on the small size. The linens and towels were very good and love the fact that the brand uses Kevin Murphy toiletries. The bathroom was also on the small side and definitely had to be one person in the shower/one by the sink in the space. Check-in was quite quick although we were left to ‘drive’ the luggage trolley from our car into the lift and to the room and return it to reception. Unfortunately, we were not able to experience the Capital Bar and Grill as being a Monday, it was closed on the night of our stay. We did have a whisky in the bar and the barman was very helpful as we made our decision as to which brand. The hotel location is excellent and underground parking is available, and all very comfortable for our one-night stay. The staff were friendly but, we did however, miss the ‘quirkiness’ we expected from the QT brand.

|1.93km from city centerGood hotel. The room was a reasonable size considering that this is a budget hotel, the ensuite toilet and shower are small but adequate. It is a bit out of town but fine if you have a car (probably public transport is available nearby, I did not check). They don't have a restaurant but you can buy a frozen meal from reception and heat it in a microwave if you like (continental breakfast can also be bought, I didn't try it).

|6.95km from city centerWe booked this hotel under ”Luxury escapes” and it certainly wasn't luxury! When we got there the receptionist was absolutely terrible (no customer service skills whatsoever) and not to us but to others as well. When asked about parking she said it's just across the road. Asked her how to get there and she gave us a printed form and said that should tell us - no explanation of form of direction. When reading the instructions it was very confusing and it took us a while. We were meant to receive a free bottle of wine and a voucher. Didn't get that, I had to call reception to ask for it and had to go down to reception to pick it up. Got back to the room and there was 1 wine glass. I gave up and on the following day asked for another wine glass. She said she would send it up via housekeeping......it never came. On the second day we had to evacuate because the fire alarm went off. My husband has a walking stick and finds it very difficult to move. But we did it. Got the site where you go for evacuation and there's no one there to direct us or anything, I find that very poor especially in a hotel. I had booked previously to go back in April but I quickly cancelled it. Worst hotel I've ever been to

|0.36km from city centerI enjoyed my stay. A comfortable little apartment with decent facilities. It was less than a 10 minute walk to Aldi for a grocery shop and the little kitchenette meant I could eat a bit healthier while I was travelling. There were just a few minor maintenance issues that stopped it being a 5 star for me. My air-conditioning unit didn't seem to work correctly and seemed to run quite hot on the standard auto/auto the hotel asked it to be set on. The spa in the pool area was undergoing maintenance unfortunately, that would have been great after a long day. The little gym had good equipment and nice atmosphere being on level 2 rather than the basement but it didn't appear to be serviced and there were a couple of machines that needed maintenance, it also needed a top up of cleaning supplies.

|0.39km from city centerThe overall experience was good. I ordered a two-bedroom apartment, which is a two-bedroom shared toilet. Please write it here for everyone who wants to order. The environment is nice and quiet, the rooms are relatively clean and tidy, the daily necessities provided are relatively complete, and the price is relatively high. The only drawback was that there was a problem with the water heater in the room at that time. There was always no hot water in the bath, but it was reflected to the front desk, hoping to resolve it as soon as possible.

|0.5km from city centerA very satisfying stay. Because when I rented a car at the car rental company during the day, I forgot to get my only credit card. When I checked in at night, I realized that I couldn't find my credit card. The Chinese employee at the front desk (female, Northeastern, I forgot to ask her name, sorry!) was very patient and helped me find a solution, and finally upgraded my room for free. Great experience! In addition, I must say that this hotel is really good. All facilities, from hardware to software, are great!

|2.5km from city centerOverall, the service is very good. Every staff greets you with a smile, answers questions patiently, and is very satisfied with the room and breakfast. The only downside is that the swimming pool is a bit small, in another building outside the hotel. Due to hygiene issues, the swimming pool is closed on the afternoon of the check-in day.

|0.32km from city centerUpon arrival we were aware that no car parking was at the hotel, which is a little frustrating but workable. Dropped our bags off and went to park the car which was about a 10 walk at 9pm during winter, to say it was fresh understates it. Back at the hotel I went to check in and only 1 person on and surprisingly at that time it was very busy, so the wait time to get to the room was considerable. Having said that though the staff on were very pleasant and helped store the bags until we got back from parking the car. The room itself was nice and even though it was situated on a busy section of Canberra was nice and quiet. The room was well maintained and the bathroom was fine. Had no issues with check out. Possible things that maybe they could look at is Valet parking or similar as well as maybe working with a local food place to supply meals, just a thought.

|0.94km from city centerNice leafy quiet street. Close to light rail. Good secure parking. Reception staff efficient. You can walk to Dickson or Civic if you have a spare 20 mins. Room we had was quite small (especially the shower) so not good for larger people. Beds comfy, but we did not like the pillows (there was only one option). Limited facilities (café downstairs seemed to only make coffee). But as we chose it for its price, quietness and location it met our needs well and overall we would stay again.

-There are supermarkets, coles and Woolworths around. Fast food has KFC McDonald's for basic breakfast needs.
-The surrounding area is not downtown, it feels convenient to have a car. It is about ten minutes away from the city by car. Parking is free, which is great.
-Average service attitude, check in and check out are all Indians.
-The room is clean and tidy enough, and the room is comfortable and good value for money. Washing clothes can be done in washing clothes, washing powder 2 knives, washing clothes 3 knives, forget to dry, never used. The selected room type has a small balcony, which is great.

|0.21km from city centerLiked · This hotel is in a fantastic location - walking distance to a supermarket and many cafes/restaurants. It is also only minutes from the CBD and most main attractions. The beds were comfy and the room was of decent size with the added bonus of air conditioning. Disliked · Unfortunately, this is in bad need of an upgrade. The bathroom was terrible, and not terribly clean. There were 3 of us staying with one bar of soap. Admittedly, upon check-in I was told I could go back and ask for more - but it should be there in the first place. There was no shampoo or conditioner, which is often standard even in budget hotels. Nor were there enough classes or mugs for the 3 of us staying.

|1.39km from city centerStayed there for 3 nights this week as I was running a training course in the Dining Hall. The staff were exceptional, couldn't do enough, available whenever for any query. The Dining Hall was heated, large enough to keep socially distant for a group of 16. Took me a day to find the light switches but I could have asked. Sanitiser was provided, large screen TV including cables. Only 1 toilet for group, but it wasn't an issue. Villa room accommodation was fine, no idea of cost as company paid, 2 bedrooms with full kitchen next door to dining hall. Clean, appealing, every thing I needed was there. Comfy lounges, large dining table enough to work and eat, seated 6. Vehranda with table and large seat. Parking out front. Leaking tap which I remembered to mention at the end and was told I should have said and they would have fixed it. Nothing was too much trouble. A lick of paint would be perfect and I noted this happening progressively with empty villas.

|0.46km from city centerHaving stayed at the Hotel Realm on numerous occasions for business, my latest visit was predictably very good. My room booking was upgraded on arrival which was a nice touch, as was the complementary beverage ticket. The Hotel Realm has served Canberra well over the years but unfortunately it shows in some aspects. Torn and / or worn carpet in a few places detracts from the overall finish and some refurbishment is in order. Also, you need to be aware that it is a little distance from Canberra City proper or the Kingston / Manuka shops and restaurants. All that said, another very good stay. The staff are friendly and the ambience is what you would expect. Recommended.

|0.43km from city centerThe hotel itself is clean, warm, and has a good service attitude. It has a large public area and the bed feels soft. Bicycles can be rented at the entrance of the hotel. I feel that Canberra is a very suitable city for cycling. The hotel is located in the administrative district where the Canberra Parliament Building is located, and it is relatively close to the Parliament Building (about 1km on foot?). The hotel room is equipped with disposable slippers, shampoo and shower gel, etc., but not equipped with toothbrush and toothpaste. However, the administrative area on the rest day is really deserted, and there are almost no pedestrians on the street (you can see a lot of people when visiting the Capitol, the National Library, the lake, etc.), and there are fewer options for eating near the hotel.

|2.65km from city centerHotel location📍 We drove at 8 o'clock in the morning in Sydney. We stayed in the zoo in Canberra for about 5 hours. We drove in from the entrance. On the left is Jamala's signboard. It is good to park directly in the parking lot without taking a ticket. Jamala is not in downtown Canberra, but Canberra is only a 10 minute drive to the city. If you want to live for a few more days in Canberra, I wouldn’t recommend it because of Canberra’s political attractions. More, more fun, in addition to the mint to see how the Australian coins are made (1 to 2 hours is enough), the other is the National Congress Memorial Hall, there are also in Melbourne, Sydney, unless the Australian history is particularly interested in not recommended Pull. Overall process🐾 We arrived a little earlier than 1 o'clock, the front desk let us leave the luggage to them, they will help us get into the room later, we bring our own carry-on bag, then give us a few sheets of paper, which reads the hotel For example, you can't feed your own animals, be optimistic about your own children, or choose to eat at night, and have special requirements for meals. During this period, we can't enter our room until 4 o'clock. The hotel is like a big mansion. ~ The lobby is like a large living room with a sofa area and a large dining table. The walls are a large aquarium that is connected to the aquarium and can be accessed at any time. On the other side of the glass door is a terrace with a sofa and a small swimming pool, as well as a monkey's cage. Probably, at 1:30, they have a rich afternoon tea and fresh fruit (mini burger sandwich, macaron, cake, fruit), drinks with iced tea, carbonated drinks, various juices, sparkling water, and hot tea. Helping to make hot coffee, if you can’t eat at noon, you can eat it here~ Then at 2:30, the first zoo sightseeing tour began. The administrators took the tour to the zoo to explain the whole English. The explanations were mainly about some animal introductions, the interesting things of their animal families, and the protection of animals they have contributed to science. A person who is not so good may not be able to comprehend some of the funny stalks that the administrator said. It takes about 2 hours to finish. There is a grandmother who needs to be taken care of by a wheelchair. The hotel and the zoo's overall barrier-free facilities are very comprehensive. Very smooth and happy~ At 4 o'clock we can finally go back to the room to rest! We live in a giraffe room, two people live in a long lemur room, and the giraffe room has a room at 4 o'clock. The administrator has a giraffe to take pictures. The giraffe room can see giraffes and deer, lemur rooms, The lemur is just outside the glass window of the room, and it’s especially cute to see people coming over and selling! We can also see the lion on the window terrace of the No. 2 lemur house. The hotel is open at 6 o'clock~ These two hours are free activities, and the zoo can visit the aquarium. Dinner🍝 Dinner is a fine dinning mode, a lot of glutinous nuts will be very particular about changing a good-looking clothes, drinking wine and snacks at the open bar on the terrace at 6 o'clock, red wine, white wine, champagne beer, the wine here is a good wine, like to drink The pot friends can open their hearts~ But you have to remember that this meal has to be eaten at 10 o'clock in the evening... Don't get drunk in advance. At 7 o'clock in the evening, I will have a big table with people I don't know. It is very important to master the foreign chat technology. Unfortunately, we have wood, and it is a bit tired this day, so we are suffering from bitterness, ingredients and taste. They are very delicious and fresh! Normal fine dinning eating order Previous dishes Main food Desserts like this ~ Eat 10 points really good support... Still tired ~ After the night, the zoo can't move around at will, so we can go back to the room in the main building of the hotel, but the tiger room and the giraffe room, the room is in the zoo, waiting for the car to be sent back, the basic hotel unless you are the same Stay in the main building, otherwise you will not be able to arbitrarily smash the door. The next day Although there is a very rich Western breakfast in the morning, there is a zoo tour at 8 o'clock, so if you don't want to miss it, you have to fill out the breakfast form the day before and choose the sandwich you want to eat (in the room bed, fill it in for dinner) staff member). In the morning, except for a small part that I saw yesterday, I mainly saw tiger lion rhinoceros, giraffes, and feeding deer alpaca. Then check out~ If you want to experience a few more animals, you can live for a few more days~ However, this hotel I think if you want to live, you can choose your favorite animal room, and English must be good~ Otherwise you will feel tired and boring~ The person staying at the hotel is still a foreigner!
