This hotel is actually an old hotel, and the facilities inside are relatively domestic three or four star level, generally economical and practical, but the price is not high after all. The pool is not a large pool seen on the Internet, it is opposite the community. The actual pool is on the sixth floor, which is very small.

Room was very clean but was small and didn't have any windows. The in-house cafe was closed down and most of the shops around the vicinity closes at 5pm, leaving the area like a ghost town. The sound proofing was pretty bad and we could constantly hear our neighbours walking past, chatting and laughing all the time. Overall the room is small but sufficient, bed is comfortable with good pillows, bathroom was small and the shower was broken. Hotel staff were polite and helpful.

The staffs were all really really great, i cannot explain how much im super thankful that they were able to carry out my request for setting up balloons placement before checking in. everything was really really great. even gave us atas chocolate cos it was my bf birthday. the stay was unexpected big for the value, got a special room too with bathtub! never seen a toilet so big lol. Unfortunately, really want to give an honest review incase anyone has dust mite allergy. The entire room seems really clean at first. But we woke up to my boyfriend havent entire body and legs in hives and rash. we thought it could be the soaps or even the food we had. but immediately we went to do dust mite allergy blood work becos we wanted answers to his hives and yes he was is a 'VERY ALLERGIC' person to dust mite. on the other hand, i do not have any issue as i do not havbe allergy to dust mite?? but when i enter the room and flip the bed, i could see dust flying around so i guess please take note when booking.

M Social has really stepped up its game in terms of service, cleanliness and amenities. the last time we were here, we didn’t have such good experiences. went on the 2nd of Jan, after New Years and there were no queue, people were checking out instead of checking in. Swift check in and the lady that served us was courteous and professional. Room was very clean despite the buzz of having many customers the night before. Thanks for keeping the room clean! Much lovely stay!

1.Hotel is not far away from MRT station, I take walk about 10min to hotel. 2.Waiters are very kind. I ask for a chair because there are no place to sit except the bed and they provided me generously. 3.The price is OK in Singapore. 4.But the room is really small. There are a very big difference about the picture on the internet. waiter tell me that is because the view of other angle but I don't think so. 5.small room and small toilet. if you just need a rest is OK. 6.not very clean, you can easily found hairs and dusty on the floor, no slipper provide.

Hope the General Manager is able to see this: Brenda and Jayden provided great and superb service! Good impression of the hotel because of them. Great Job! Plus points: - Rooms have great amenities and bed was comfortable. Ashley & Co amenity plus Bang & Olufsen Speaker might be the highlight of the room - Great location for a morning and evening walk - Superb Dining experience. Po has great food! The Kurobuta Char Siew and Crab Carrot Cake were fantastic! Totally justifiable for the premium on Singapore Modern Cuisine. Champagne paired very well with the food! Will come back to dine again - Rich History and heritage behind this hotel, would be nice if there is a mini tour or activity to justify the premium of this hotel (The reason why it wasn’t a full 5/5)- still good but... - Limited Facilities, only a super small wading swimming pool, though very instagrammable! No Gym... cant be helped given the size of the horel. The hotel could have organized more activity to engage guests! It’s a heritage building!!!! - Fall under Design collection which meant minimal member benefits including no complimentary breakfast for plat members and above. (Understandable since it’s not run by the Marriott Team) - Still doesnt make sense to me that breakfast price for 1 pax and 2 pax are the same. Bak kut teh was soso, Chicken curry was good but felt short of providing enough curry for the prata. - The room price is similar or even more expensive compared to other Marriott Properties in Singapore such as JW Marriott, St Regis, Marriott Tangs or Westin! You really have to appreciate the heritage and uniqueness of this hotel in order to be willing to pay for such high room rate price with minimal facilities, activities and add-on. Overall: Great experience and great service by the 2 stadd and will dine at the bar and Po once again

First of all, the location of the hotel, if you do not consider the subway, the location is still very quiet, about five minutes walk to the Clarke Quay, the bar street. Because the hotel is a renovation project, the room is not large, but the design is very clean and very line-like. Well, I think this space is almost the same, the overall gray-black tone. The breakfast restaurant will be simpler and may not be in line with the Chinese because of the Western-style breakfast. The pool is on the check-in floor, the fourth floor, not big, open-air. A small pool, relax in that small space at night, in fact, it's okay, there is a floating bubble inside the pool, you don't want to swim, you can lick it, it feels good to let go.

Check in staff was very friendly and recommended us nice place nearby to stroll around. We reached at 3.15pm. Check in time was less than 20minutes. We got the studio loft and the room was small but nice, I love the high ceiling even though when we were at the loft, we noticed some dust around the corners nearby the staircase and the loft area. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom is very small. However, I like how the toilet and bathroom are separated. As I needed to work a bit, we bought our HDMI cable to connect the laptop to the tv but it didn't work. The breakfast area at level 2 was under renovation when we stayed so the cafe 'memo' at level 1 replaced the original breakfast area. The breakfast (we opted for English Breakfast and healthier choice of cereal and yoghurt fruits) had a nice presentation but the taste was so so. The waiters and food servers were very friendly and helpful though. There are not many parking space available (I think not more than 10 slots) in the hotel but we got lucky to get the last slot available. Hotel guest can get the free parking voucher at the lobby (2 vouchers per day). Love the location as the surrounding strolling path are beautiful during night time. As we have made the payment via the app in full, checking out process was very easy (just need to drop the key off at the designated box at the lobby)

This hotel has been transformed to a short term stay (monthly?) for Malaysians. Quite a number of Malaysian motorbikes randomly parked in car park lots. There are clothes hung on staircases. A pity because the hotel still has good furnishing in the room. There is sewage smell at the hotel/car park entrance. The ground floor restaurant area is shuttered with chairs and tables stacked up even though government has made it possible for people to sit if safe distancing measures are kept. The front desk even say that govt dares not allow visitors in rooms even though sg tourism board website says up to 5 visitors are allowed. So it seems the hotel has unfriendly rules but putting the blame on govt. Will not visit this hotel again.

Stayed there for a night fully paid using cash (not using singapore rediscover voucher) the boutique hotel is located just behind LKY Oxley home. Walking distance was 10 mins away from Orchard Central. The room is spacious and the toilet is clean. The hotel provides toiletries and we had our breakfast using the hotel voucher at Artisan Boulangerie Co located at Killiney Road which is 3 mins Walking distance with a choice of pastry and offered a top up of drink to large size at $1.05. The hotel is only a 2 storey property. Front desk staff was polite except that they were rushing through telling us the T&C and house rules of the hotel and there was a $100 deposit charged to my credit card which may take some time for the refund. Sound proof isn't that good as we keep hearing sounds of slamming door whenever someone opens their room door. Unfortunately the neighbour beside my room keeps singing like a crow and as the outerside of the showing area is partially enclosed, so we can hear it loud and clear in our room. Didn't get to use the pool due to the location as it is just right underneath the walkway to the lobby. There is no privacy as whoever enter or exit the hotel is able to just look down and that is where the pool is. Although it is clean and spacious but given the location and the condition of the hotel not being sound proof, I will not patronise again.

Had an amazing time there ! We got lost for abit looking for the reception but was manageable. There was a queue before checking in , but it went very smoothly. The staffs there was really friendly and helpful. One of the staff gave us what we asked for, high floor ( level 33), smoking room and a bath tub. I was really satisfied. On top of that he gave us an hour extra for late checkout. Wish i could thank him again but didnt catch his name. Would definitely return again 😊

Prior to check-in date, the hotel had contacted via phone and email for pre-arrival check. It’s great that manager Jason was able to confirm the baby cot that I had requested when making the reservation. On arrival, the bell had promptly came over to help with our luggage. This is helpful as there seems to be only stairs at the driveway as I can’t find another alternative. Once I stepped into the lobby, I noticed a refreshing scent that lifted my mood. While waiting for my room key, I was presented with welcome drinks. They had assisted to show the way to the room, along they way we were brought to the spa area and the guest service also shared that there is a aeroponics farming area next to the spa reception. Even though it’s only 2nd floor but we were amazed with room’s high ceiling, something that most of us don’t have it at home. Their floor to ceiling window let in good amount of natural lighting into the room. I lived the complimentary healthy snacks that’s placed in the room together with the complimentary still and sparking water. The spacious room once again hit the right spot to make your feel relaxed and calm. During the stay, we visited that aeroponics area again as we were mesmerized by how easy plants could be grown indoor. I remembered there is a plant called lemon balm, Liza was very kind to share with us how this aeroponics farming works and gave us some of the lemon balm leaves. I added the lemon balm leaves into the sparking water that was available in the room for a refreshing drink to end of the night. Breakfast was great with the usual western and continental selection, what’s more interesting is their five dim sum warrior breakfast set and also their barramundi mixed oat congee. You must try these when you are there. I will like to thank a couple of people who we had interacted with and had made our stay pleasant: Jason for the wonderful connecting room arrangement, Liza who was at the wellness lounge area at around 9pm and she took the effort to share with us their interesting Grobrix aeroponic system and the plants growing there, Xiao Yun, Joey and Hanish who cleaned and sanitised the room. There are many more of them, I wished I could remember all their names. There is so much more to write and share, but one thing that I should not missed is that you have to stay two nights to truly experience a good retreat from the usual hassle and bustle. It’s definitely different from staying at the city hotel. If you want a good rejuvenating experience, please check out this hotel.

Room 1003 - King Room Hotel & Rooms looks old but was well maintained. Room was spacious with a separate sofa. We need to wait for some time for A/C to get really cold. Wifi was stable. Breakfast was delicious with lots of varieties but only 2 slots - 730am & 915am. Location was too good - Needless to say. Checking in was quick though I saw a queue forming up after I was done. Sleep was actually good but was awaken due to some loud noise from outside the window around 6am - I guess it's the next building starting up their machinery.

The interior from lobby to the room was superb. Love the vibes and the scent of the lobby. When we first entered our room, the room smell nice. The room size is pretty comfy, love the extra table that is tucked underneath the built in table. There is a very functional kitchenette which is quite well equipped but the spatula provided melted a little when we use it to fry on the pan . We had a slight problem With the bathroom as it floods up the entire bathroom including the sink and toilet bowl whenever we shower, the drainage system wasn’t very good and that is really really annoying and to make it worse cause the floor is tile and we are walking with wet feet cause the mat is fully soak, our feet feels so damn cold. All in all the room is still nice and the staffs were super friendly and really efficient and helpful. Will consider coming back.

I booked this place on a long layover in Singapore, and this place is so cool! Now, the showers and amenities are pretty much like most hostels (nothing special, but more than adequate), but the pod itself was actually quite nice! Inside feels very futuristic, and it comes with your own power outlets and a/c. Bedding and pillow were soft, and the Chinatown location is a plus!

We booked a Deluxe room with bathtub and the deal was complimentary breakfast for 2 and a complimentary bottle of champagne, without pool access. When we booked, the deal said multiple re-entries into the carpark, but upon check in, the staff told us that on their system the parking coupon is only valid for 1 entry and 1 exit. We asked him to check again but he just came back to us saying the same thing without any explanation… He also didn’t explain to us about how to redeem the complimentary bottle of champagne and booking of in-room breakfast. We asked another staff after checking in about the champagne redemption, she said it will be sent up to our room when we ask for it through front desk. However, it took almost an hour for the champagne to reach us, we had to give front desk another call to check if their had gotten our order… I had hoped that the hotel side could be more proactive in providing a better service for the customers. Before checking in we thought that we could only order in room breakfast set but upon calling the in-room service, the staff told us that we can actually eat at Asian Market Cafe or Prego. She suggested we can have a nice buffet breakfast at the AMC which we didn’t know beforehand… it’s nice of her to have told us that if not we wouldn’t have had the privilege to fully enjoy a buffet breakfast. Just hope that staffs can be more welcoming and warm in serving the customers be it locals or foreigners. Overall the room was awesome, we loved the view esp waking up with sunrise and the CBD skyline. Champagne was good, television has lots of channels to choose from, we brought our own switch to play games. Brought bubble bath salts to enjoy the bathtub, water was really HOT. 😆 Thank you for the stay, Fairmont!

The hotel location is particularly good, just outside the subway station. There is a free breakfast, 7-11 downstairs, and eating is very convenient. The outdoor swimming pool and terrace on the top floor of the hotel are not too comfortable, the night view is superb. You can walk directly to Chinatown and Clarke Quay, next to Songfa Bak Kut Teh and Ya Kun, Hainan Chicken Rice, and everything is very convenient. The only thing is that the room is really small and the boxes cannot be tiled on the floor. The bathroom is also small. The lobby of the hotel lobby is super soft and comfortable! !! !! The day before I left, because I was still early for the departure time, I rested on the sofa for nearly 2 hours and fell asleep, but the sister at the front desk was not stunned. After I woke up, the sister asked me that I was too tired to play yesterday. There are so many foreigners in the hotel and almost no Chinese are seen. Had a night stay at Artiste Suite. Location is good. Cleanliness can be improved. There were dusts on the pantry area, on the wireless/bluetooth/radio on the table bedside, and at the toilet underneath the mirror. The television is a smart tv, but was not able to connect to the Internet. It needs a LAN cable or some usb for wireless. Called the reception and was informed it was not a smart tv. So be prepared there's no netflix or prime videos nor YouTube. A tad disappointed but that means I also enjoyed quality time resting both on the bed and in the bathtub, enjoying the view, having both dinner and breakfast at the balcony. The overall experience from level 1 to level 6 where artiste room is located was good. The room offers privacy which was awesome. Location wise is very convenient. Bus stops everywhere, clarke quay and funan mall nearby and most importantly, for all the supper freaks, there are 7-11 nearby and also restaurants. Cleanliness was super bad. The remote controls, table, counter, sink, cups and spoons were so dusty. I can swipe in one finger and accumulate all the dust. The carpet had a huge stain near the fridge and a funky smell. The fridge was musty and dirty but bed is super clean. I guess it has been long since someone used that room but I expected it to be clean as it is a standard procedure for Housekeepers to clean up the rook before guests checks in. For service, it was neutral. Did what I requested and gave me an expected service but did not exceed my expectations. I requested to check out 2 hours later and they did manage to extend the check out. However, on the last day of our stay, we got locked out of the door because the staff forgot to change the system on the door. So our time was delayed. Lastly, after checking out, there was no closure of service from any of the staff so we just left. For amenities, there were no towels in the toilet and the TV couldn’t airplay/ mirror screen to my phone even though the feature was available on the TV. TV channels was super slow. Customer service is good despite there’s no pre notice for end of lease since mine was room rental for one month and was being warned by a customer service staff that must move out by the time they gave otherwise they would ask people to clean out my staffs and force me out even though I didn’t say I would not move out but just asked for a clearer check with another staff who I have asked for the booking of one month. Was shocked and felt unsecured when I was still on the bed planing my routines for the day but suddenly being chased out and frightened by the very ‘enforced’ and threaten customer ‘service’ on the last day.
