Location was ok, 10 minute walk to old town and city wall. Restaurants close by. Lobby and rooms were clean, a major plus. Breakfast was very adequate. Staff was helpful and polite. The room was not large but adequate with a decent bathroom and goo water pressure in shower. The two negatives would be that it was very noisy from inconsiderate “other” guests till early morning hours( mostly by children, where were parents and staff ?????). The other negative would be the “tiny horrible beds!” These beds are youth size, not even twins. The one bed had springs or something poking up very uncomfortably in middle forcing you to sleep on about 4 inches on the side. But both beds were very uncomfortable and we are not terribly picky.

The old town found a Michelin Mediterranean restaurant for dinner in the evening, and it will start after 8:30. The children ate a few mouthfuls because of the jet lag and fell asleep. 3 rooms booked. Lovely clean hotel in central location. Bedrooms spotless, beds and pillows very comfortable. Shower powerful. Nice lounge area to meet up with friends. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Drew shortstraw in room with 3 of us (101). No safety deposit box, could only get radio on TV, heating blew cold air (thought it was just us not using it properly till end of holiday), no slippers. We felt the breakfast was a bit expensive at €14.50. Only hot items were scrambled egg and bacon but very varied other items which were lovely. We wanted a cocktail from the bar but closed Sunday and not available Monday. The 7 of us had one Tuesday, took ages for all of us to get it, some were ok and others not. Need more staff in this area. Having said all the above, we would certainly recommend this hotel to others and return ourselves.

We were at the Ultonia, two nights, before and after the country was shut down due to the Corona virus. There is pay fting parking underground with direct access to the hotel. Rooms looked recently renovated, comfortable, with safety deposit box and nice bathroom with large shower, bidet and free toiletries. Our room had a window with view of an inviting outside terrace. Would be great during warmer weather and different circumstances. We took the buffet breakfast both mornings. It was excellent. Very complete with everything that you could desire. Eggs, cold cuts, fresh fruits, yogurts, croissants, breads, excellent coffee and tea. The staff could not have been any friendlier and accommodating. The location of the hotel is perfect. Walking distance to all important sights. Definitely recommended.

We stopped here to break up a long drive from France to Madrid. As has been noted, this is no-frills, but if you are looking for a clean and friendly spot, the price is much better than you can find elsewhere. The people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful, and there are some nice places to eat within walking distance. The shower had good pressure and temperature and the bed was comfortable. The room wouldn't be great for spending long periods of time, but for overnight it was a good value. We found parking in the street outside with no difficultly. The breakfast, for 5 euros, was authentic and did the trick, with lots of bread and rolls and pastries, and fixings for pan con tomate, as well as yogurts and even creme caramel (from the store, in a yogurt style container, but a nice option nonetheless!). It also included a cappucino/espresso machine. If you are ok with a spare room, but a comfortable bed with a good shower, this is a good vale.

Dayane was on reception when we arrived. She spoke excellent English, made us very welcome and as we hadn't visited Girona before took time to draw on a map where we were, the location of key visitors site and names and locations of restaurants she recommended. As it was a Saturday and we needed to book a restaurant she booked it for us and she and her colleagues booked restaurants for us subsequently. We had booked a superior room which overlooked the garden and was in essence 3 rooms - bathroom, bedroom and seating area (see photos). Very comfortable. Excellent bed and pillows and spacious bathroom with plenty of room for wash bags etc. Lovely cotton robes too. The lighting in hotel bathrooms is often 'mood lighting' which is completely useless for men wanting to shave or women applying make up. Fortunately this wasn't the case here and as well as excellent lighting there was a magnifying, extendable shaving mirror. Thoughtful touches like that make all the difference. The breakfast was excellent - a good buffet and the freshly squeezed orange juice delicious. They squeeze it to order so wait for the waitress to appear. Tea and coffee facilities in the room so saved taking my travel kettle. The hotel had some amazing scuptures and ceramics by local artists on display. We will return. Travel from Girona is easy (we flew in and out of Barcelona) so it would be a perfect place to stay to explore the area.

The hotel is modern, clean and has nice staff. We chose it because of those features for our week long holiday in Girona. The rooms are lovely with big beds and large bathrooms. It has a nice bar where you can get drinks from. I would also recommend the restaurant to eat dinner in. The problem is that we didnt get a good nights sleep over the 7 nights we stayed. It is incredibly noisy and we could hear every movement from upstairs. We woke up 3-4 times a night because of the noise in the hotel. Every morning we were woken early by what sounded like furniture being moved around upstairs. People also seemed to come to the pool regardless of whether they were staying in the hotel or not. A large family came and blasted music while eating McDonalds around the pool while we were outside which was quite annoying! I would perhaps recommend this hotel for one or two nights sleep (with earplugs!) but would not stay here again for a week long trip.

I was traveling with friends. I chose two hotels in Basel. The buildings in Basel are all 100 years old. We have also carefully selected them for a long time. This retro style is very fond of color. The hotel location is not very big. We have been taking a taxi these days. They are basically within 10 Euros. It is also convenient to go anywhere. It is almost 700 meters away from the British Palace Department Store. It is especially convenient to buy cosmetics and downstairs. There are restaurants and convenience stores around the downstairs. Hotel environment I personally like it, because the retro decoration color can be taken in the hotel to take large pictures, the details can reflect the room key is the original traditional insert hole key The efficiency of hotel check-in and check-in was a bit slow. Common problems throughout Europe. We were in a queue in front of a woman who was very anxious because of being too slow. Note that the hotel is checked in after 3pm. Just report the room number. There will be a show on the first floor of the lobby. Ask the front desk when you check in. Hotel hygiene I think it is quite comfortable to stay for two days. The cleaning is very clean. The attendant will fold your clothes for you. Hotel breakfast We ate the hotel breakfast for two days in a row because it was so delicious. There was a full range of Chinese, Western and Japanese meals to meet various needs. It was about forty Euros for two (not particularly remembered) Hotel equipment Our queen size bed can be said to be very large There is a swimming pool and gym because we spend most of our time playing outside so we did not go

First talk about the location of the hotel, the hotel is located in the extended area of Barcelona. It is close to La Pedrera and Casa Batllo and within a 10-minute walk of La Pedrera. And the La Pedrera is located on Barcelona's famous street "Gracia Avenue", so the location is very convenient. In terms of travel, we are full-time taxis, so we are not familiar with the subway. However, the hotel's front desk can help you call a taxi directly, it is very convenient, and the taxi price in Barcelona is still within my acceptance. The hotel service was very good. As the hotel arrived in the morning and could not check in, the luggage was stored and the check-in was completed. It also meets the requirements of our two rooms together. And we recommended a Michelin seafood restaurant, the key is to help us book. I want to use the iron, a phone call, and it will be delivered in 5 minutes. On the top floor of the hotel there is a gym and an open-air swimming pool. If you like to sunbathe, try the pool. The sanitation of the room is very good, the free two bottles of water in the outside restaurant point is 3 euros. And there are 2 cup noodles! The orange chair in the picture is really comfortable. The door of the room toilet is the same kind of seam. I just didn't find it when I entered it. I thought there was no toilet. There is no door in the shower, but there is no need to worry about splashing water. I feel very design. The room is equipped with a capsule coffee machine with 4 capsules in the box and an introduction, which will be replenished every day! Finally, I would like to say that the hotel's own restaurant is the Michelin restaurant, but the last day only found that there is no chance this time. In short, it is highly recommended in terms of location, facilities, service and transportation.

The service is very good. The service staff at the door verified the identity of our occupants on the first floor and helped us take the luggage upstairs to check in. Then we sent the luggage to the room. It was very Nice. The hotel provided a free champagne with good taste at check-in. Our room is a bit noisy on the street. There are two floor-to-ceiling windows. The street view and the color are good. There is a balcony on the top floor. There are not many breakfasts. It takes about 10 minutes to get to the nearby Plaza Catalunya. There are many restaurants nearby. Not far from the beach, I will consider staying next time. We went to the seafood market recommended online. It feels normal and the seafood is salty.

The taxi drivers are very honest! Hotel service is good, the environment is good, breakfast buffet is 35 euros per person, a bit expensive! The breakfast was great and the staff was very good. Very close to the sea, walking distance. Summer must be very good, winter to go, basically have to go to urban activities, not far from the taxi, are around 10 euros. The only problem was: windy weather, the sound of buzzing in the room, the high-rise hotel I had lived in before had no similar noise, which is still very annoying. Some people are worried that the sound of the building is not strong. The single hotel waiter said that the hotel is resistant to wind and earthquake. I have been building it for more than 20 years, and the 3-4 winds should have gone to sleep. In short, the only thing that is not good is the buzz. In addition, the hotel's toiletries are a London brand, to be honest, the hotel is a bit worse, at least get a famous brand of L'Occitane alive.

Just 5 minutes after arriving at the hotel, the shoulders on the suitcase behind them were stolen. At that time, three people checked in at the hotel counter. We immediately asked to see if the monitoring was not allowed, and then let the hotel help the police also. No solution, just let us go to the police station to report the case ourselves. In desperation, we had no choice but to give up the police and think it was unfortunate, but we felt very bad during the negotiation with the hotel staff, and the feeling of losing things was already bad , But could not get a little help from the hotel, and the thief actually dared to steal things in the lobby recklessly, there were not many people in the lobby, and it was not confusing, so I kept wondering how the thief got started? ? ? Remind friends who are coming to this hotel to stay with long eyes. If I did not receive an additional fee of more than one hundred euros after leaving the hotel, I would give a full score ... The additional cost of the child is calculated to 30 euros per night, plus a city construction tax of 7.6. I remember when I was at the front desk, I told I added 20 euros per night. Besides that, the experience was excellent. The location is excellent, the seaside, the British Palace and the Baroque House can be walked by. The rooms are equipped with ritual toiletries. We had an enjoyable stay at the Edition, however, it was a slightly disappointing start. We arrived late morning and had a reservation for two rooms. I am fully aware that we were ahead of the 15:00 check in, but we asked staff if there was any chance we could check in earlier, even if it was for just one of the rooms. They told us that they would try their best and get in touch if we could check in earlier. We told them that we would sit at the hotel’s restaurant and confirmed contact numbers so they could reach us easily. I had walked past reception a number of times between that time and 15:00 but the check in agent did not mention anything about a room being available at any point and I therefore assumed that it was simply not possible to check in early. We proceeded to have lunch at the hotel restaurant. When I went up to reception at 15:00 and asked for our room keys I was given the room key to only one room. I explained that we booked two rooms. The associate acknowledged that and said that the other room had already checked in early. I informed her that that was not the case and that we were still waiting for both rooms. She then found the second set of room keys and said that her colleague would have tried to contact us but wasn’t able to get hold of us. That might have been the case but considering the fact that we hadn’t left the grounds and had made ourselves clearly visible to the staff at all times, it was extremely disappointing that a little more effort was not made. It would have started our trip on a much higher note. Overall, the hotel was lovely. The rooms feel new and looked after. The overall decor is on the dark side with little natural light in the corridors. The rooms have big comfortable showers and our room had a lovely little sitting area by the bay window overlooking the front of the hotel. Location wise, the hotel is perfectly situated for easy walking access to all of central Barcelona’s sights. It is next door to the Santa Caterina market as well as plenty of restaurants to dine at. The hotel’s rooftop restaurant has fantastic views but seating is limited and it gets very busy. The small plunge pool is more for effect than swimming but no doubt makes for a good cool down during the hot summer days. Breakfast, served at Bar Veraz was great. It is served a la carte and for inclusive rates, you can have anything you want. Everything was served freshly and to order. The only other thing that we struggled with, and I imagine this was more a technological issue, is that whenever I used the Marriott app to request something for the room, always stating the room number, by default it was always delivered to the main room on the reservation rather than the room I specified in my request. It was no big deal as we had rooms next to each other, however, I didn’t know that things were being delivered there. Overall, it was a good stay.
