|16.19km from city centerThe hotel building is old but renovated and clean inside. Perfect for those who swim in the sea in the summer on the beach. It is the best location to see the sea from the room and see the sunset. Since the observation bath is a men's and women's replacement system in the morning and evening, women can soak in the hot springs while watching the sunset. Since it is very close to the Suruga Bay ferry terminal, you can also relax while watching the ferry. All-you-can-eat meals in buffet style, and there is also an all-you-can-drink plan. It's not luxurious, but the content is usually delicious. Overall, the cospa is a pretty good inn. You can walk to Doi Jinshan nearby.

|1.68km from city centerI chose Taizanso because of the high reviews. I enjoy eating, so the fact that the reviews for the food were good was the number one factor. Due to the corona sickness, all the dishes were lined up on the table except for rice and dessert. Originally, black rice was served last, but white rice was served as an appetizer. The black rice for dinner and wasabi rice for breakfast were delicious. I don't think this dish can be helped if it's a corona countermeasure dish, but I thought it was a very ordinary dish that was neither acceptable nor impossible. If the usual kaiseki cuisine is better, can I visit again? The public bath didn't feel smaller than I imagined (image from word of mouth). The quality of the hot springs is good to stay warm forever, but it doesn't seem to be free-flowing. Due to the corona crisis, the two large public baths are reserved until 22:00 and then become men's and women's baths. The bath in the ordinary Japanese-style room was deep and tiled, so I didn't feel the atmosphere. It was a room on the second floor, but I think it would be better for the elderly and those with disabilities to be careful about the stairs and the room bath. Free coffee and tea was very nice. I think that the customer service of the staff is good. The inn seems to have a history, but is it clean and incense? The scent of is also soothing. You can't see the view from the room, but it's close to the center of Shuzenji, so it's good for a walk.

|15.69km from city centerThe plan was changed from Minami Izu to Nishi Izu where the sea situation calmed down in diving. In the middle of that, I chose it because there was a vacant place where the meal was cut by 10000 yen per person with a luxurious 2 meal at the hot spring inn in a hurry. The amount of hot water springs seems to be the largest in Nishi Izu, and the open-air baths are very large and luxurious. However, when you look at the ingredients of the hot springs, it seems that they use circulation and disinfection. It is written as a 180,000 liter spring in a day, and 7,500 liter of hot water is springing out even in an hour, but why? But there was no smell like disinfectant in the hot water. The meal is also luxurious with many seafood including abalone and many small bowls for this price. However, the main sashimi that can be seen most is not a local seafood, and the taste is now one. Because of the relatively large hot spring inn, there are many employees and very polite service, and the room and dining room are luxurious. Because it is DOI Onsen facing the sea, I chose it with expectation of hot springs and seafood, but only two bad points were about the eye, but from the accommodation cost, it is a wonderful temperature above the price even if two points are deducted It is no doubt that it is a spring inn!

|3.42km from city centerIf you stay at Shuzenji for more than 3 nights, this is a good choice. If only 2 nights, it is recommended to stay in a spa town. Although the hotel has a shuttle bus, it still has a distance from the center. The hotel is very old and was once an upscale hotel. There is a sense of crossing in the living, many parent-child activities can participate, and in the mountains, you can take a walk on the mountain to participate in activities. The hot springs are not amazing, it is not bad. Breakfast did not come up to eat, dinner is a buffet, there are not many varieties, but the products can be produced. And the service is really good. In general, it won't let you down.

|16.31km from city center[2 10,000 yen for 3 days. So the service is so good and the location is good. Is it okay ⁈] I stayed at 2 nights and 3 days (about 10,500 yen per person). The Meijikan, a place of the western part of the Izu Peninsula, is located along the sea of the land called Tohi. I think that all rooms are ocean view and a nice inn with a good sea even on the low hierarchy. [Room] It was a room with a wide edge between 8 tatami mats and 4 tatami mats, and an independent washbasin by the bathroom. Is it a room of the inn that is commonly constructed from the Showa period? It is a room with a year, but there is no impression of ”old dirty” because it is cleaned properly. Since the power supply is small, it is recommended to bring in a power tap when charging a lot of IT equipment. Above all, the wide edge is a window, so the sea is firmly visible. It is a very comfortable space, especially when the sunset sinks from the room. At night, the same wide edge, all the lights are turned off and the windows are opened a little, and the outside lights and waves are cleared to the ears, and the sake is enjoyed. It's been a long time since I had such a luxury. [Hot spring] Although it is a long established inn, there is a clean feeling in the facilities and space. Of course, I feel the deteriorated part, but it is a pleasant space that can be seen that it is cleaned quite firmly. It is also nice to incorporate the light outside into the bath full of eyes. The water is clear, and the temperature is not too hot and too wet. I used it in the morning in the rental state, but this is also a luxury time. The cherry blossom rental open-air bath has two types: ”urara no Yu” and ”nukumi no Yu”. It costs 45 minutes and 2200 yen, but I think you can experience it once. The facilities are even more beautiful. There is also an inner hot water in the space made of wood, and you can spend an elegant time watching the sea in the open air outside. Of course, there is a good washroom. Unlike the public bath, this is a little hot because of the hot water of the water. You can add the amount of water to your preference and enjoy it even if it is slightly heated or firmly wet. [Meal] ※ This time it is unused. I will try to experience it next time. [In-house] 1F There are many activities in the lobby that children can enjoy, such as souvenir shops and sweets shops, game corners (※ when I visited, I was closed because of corona). There is a large cart for carrying luggage, and it is safe even if it is a big luggage with a child. [Customer Service] There was no meal, so there was no contact, but when I left the car, I rented the open air, etc., I was very bright and gentle. It was very pleasant. [Others] It is very thankful for choshi. There are baby buses, baby chairs, toys, etc. in the public bath and the rental open air. In the room, there are too much comfort amenities for mothers such as mat and diaper for infants, and all of them are unified with characters and cute things, and it is a very happy service. At the reception, it was a service that was exhaustive for the child to provide a diaper if it was not enough. [Overall] A lodging that can be spent relaxing. And the feeling of excitement that can be played in the sea in front of you in the morning and at night. It's nice to be able to wake up with the morning light. Amazing service spirit that welcomes you with children. It was nice. The ”beauty” of the cherry blossom room is quite different from the way people feel, so compared to the new inn and hotel recently, it is said that it is a room with an old season. Personally, it was the inn that survived from the Showa period Heisei period, and I felt that it was kept clean even without renovation or renewal. In addition, the service and location are nice. And, about 10,000 yen per person in 2 nights and 3 days. Wouldn't Cospa be too good? Laughing I really appreciate you having a very slow holiday. |9.84km from city centerWe had the most wonderful time at Ochiairo! I came here for a birthday trip with my husband and best friend and we stayed in the spacious Aofuji room overlooking the river. The spatial arrangement offered more than enough space and privacy for 3 people and probably 2 couples or a family and kids. The white noise lulled us to sleep every night and it was simply magical. The international staff was so helpful to us. While we don’t speak Japanese, they did their best to understand and attend to us and it all worked out. They went above and beyond making my birthday feel very special. It was the small details that really mattered - ensuring that we had bikes and activities arranged the night before, coming to our room to teach me how to wear my yukata when I asked them to help, and even cleaning out and lovingly packaging some souvenir bento containers we arrived with when they saw them in our mini fridge! Everything about this place is just so beautiful. A few notes: - THE BATHS! When I tell you that I screamed when I saw the cave and private onsen in particular - just trust that they cannot be missed. - We are all tattooed - one of us significantly so. They have small tattoo covers but ask that you do cover them in the main bath areas (I only know this because I asked and they were incredibly polite about the advice) - We brought tattoo cover but in case you don’t want to bother, please take advantage of the absolutely stunning outdoor private baths - The food is great and eat dinner in sitting rooms upstairs (not served in your room) - You get unlimited drinks (alcoholic and otherwise) and snacks which was another pleasant surprise because they are so tasty! - The koi fish in the front swim up to you and follow you around with such enthusiasm. It’s as if they’re little pond puppies. The staff allowed us to feed them so if interested, please ask. - Don’t miss the swing next to the suspension bridge! - While I loved our room - please note that there is an abandoned hotel directly across the river from it. Kind of ruined the “I am communing with nature” vibes but it was fine in the long run. I could go on, but just trust that this place is just exceptional!

|2.08km from city centerOur party of nine stayed for four days and three nights at Hostel Knot and enjoyed every moment of the unique school tour. Our hosts were knowledgeable about Izu and generously took us around, organising wonderful workshops in calligraphy and making sushi and taking us fishing. Their hospitality was top notch. We occupied the individual rooms and one double room with tatami and liked the traditional atmosphere of the whole hostel. An unforgettable, meaningful and fun experience.

|16.54km from city centerBreakfast is not included here, but the scenery of this hot spring hotel is really good, no worse than Izu's Net Red Hotel. The tatami-style room is large in size and has a large balcony where you can enjoy the sunset while enjoying tea. There was a table tennis case downstairs, and we played 12 o'clock. You can also go to the soup. There are several nice restaurants not far from the hotel, and we went to a couple's shop, which is very good. The service is also very good. There is a small car park at the door of the hotel or you can park outside.

|1.39km from city center■ Location Take a bus (220 yen cash only) from Shuzenji Station and get off at Miyukibashi, 2-3 minutes. The other side across the new bridge along the Katsura River. About 7 minutes on foot from Shuzenji Onsen Station on the route bus. Large high-rise inn. The scenery might be beautiful during autumn leaves. ■Nearby Attractions We recommend going to Niji no Sato on a free electric bicycle. The bicycle was also made by Panasonic and was new, and it was powerful even on the slopes. You can get there in about 20 minutes. At Niji no Sato, you can enjoy steam locomotives and views of Mt. Fuji. Also, if you have a receipt for staying at Shuzenji Onsen, Niji no Sato will give you a 30% discount. ■ Room The room was spacious and the bed was set on tatami mats, so it was comfortable to sleep. It was nice to have a humidifier. ■ Meals Buffet style with a competitive number of items. If you are with children, you can enjoy it in an entertainment mood. It might be more fun if you make it a fair specification such as cotton candy. On the contrary, it is a mess, so it is not recommended for those who want to enjoy it slowly or emphasize the atmosphere. ■ Amenities In front of the Daily Yamazaki convenience store in the ryokan, you can take whatever you want as much as you like. I think that management efforts to reduce personnel and maintenance costs are rational, only for Obako Hotel. I think the service of choosing a yukata is very good. Wouldn't it be nice to have a special yukata for a fee? If there is a design that looks good on Instagram. ■ Hospitality The check-in time was around 17:00, so I contacted them in advance. At that time, there are only two dinners at 18:00 and 18:30, and the 19:45 two-part system is not being done at this time, so I hurried to the hotel without eating lunch. At the front desk of the inn, it was said that after 18:00, there would be a two-part system at 19:30, and there was a discrepancy between the phone and time. Although I complained about it, the woman at the reception was indifferent, with no apology or confirmation, whether the complaint was a daily occurrence. Perhaps the person on the phone misunderstood and told the time, but I asked if there was 19:45, and although I insisted that it was not, I regret that I told the wrong time. . I can't help but make a mistake, but I was disappointed because there was no follow-up at the reception.

|16.02km from city centerI've stayed at various places, but this Suishotei's rice has a wide variety of dishes and is really delicious no matter what you eat! To be honest, even high-class inns look really good, but the appetizer tastes strange, and I'm not a big eater, but the portions are really small, but Suishotei's is really delicious. No matter what I ate, I was impressed. It was a dish that you can feel the spirit of those who are thinking about the menu. There are various ranks of rooms, but the room we stayed in has a large 180 cm diameter free-flowing hot spring. did. Room ”Time of Happiness” The room was spacious, and the approach after opening the door was also wonderful with indirect lighting. After all, I highly recommend a room with a free-flowing hot spring in the room. The lighting in the restroom was a little dim. This inn is recommended for couples or couples traveling together rather than for families. It is one of the inns that I want to go to eat again.

|2.53km from city centerMy family and I loved our experience at this onsen! The accommodations are first-rate and blend superbly a traditional japanese inn experience with modern comforts and luxury. The hot spring baths are all private and thoughtfully integrated into the rooms. It's incredibly relaxing to submerge yourself in one after a long day exploring the Izu peninsula! The service is impeccable and the staff are uniformly gracious and attentive. Finally, the food at the inn might have been the highlight! Breakfast and dinner are included and each is a high-class, multi-course meal. We were all amazed by how ornate, delicious, and varied the food was each time we sat down. Overall, we could not recommend this stay highly enough! It helped make our experience in Japan very special and one we'll cherish for many years.

|1.63km from city center The first time we chose the back of the inn at Shuzenji Onsen, it was the Yukoro Kikuya. It is located almost in the center of the hot spring town of Shuzenji, and if you follow the prefectural road that runs through the northern bank of the Katsura River, there is an entrance to the inn, and there is a parking lot next to it. From the entrance to the main body of the inn, you will pass over the lobby built on the bridge over the Katsura River. Check-in is done on the sofa in this lobby, so you can see the Katsura River from just above the river. As the name ”Yu Corridor” suggests, many hot water areas are connected by long corridors. From those hot springs, I could see the beautiful garden of the inn. The dinner I was looking forward to was called ”Quasi Sakana Kaiseki”, and I was able to choose some dishes as I liked. We were two of us, and we dared to eat different dishes, but each dish looked beautiful and very delicious. Our accommodation plan was a plan to have draft beer free in the private lounge, so we had draft beer in the hot spring and relaxed.

|15.93km from city centerMy husband, daughter and son-in-law spent two nights at Arujisu in October 2022, after discovering it purely by chance while looking for an inn in Izu. I cannot recommend it highly enough. The inn faces Suruga Bay where one can swim in a protected area. Each room has a terrace with its own outdoor bath, and there is nothing more delightful than waking up early and soaking in the hot mineral waters before breakfast while listening to the waves. (There are also larger baths on the top floor.) Sunset views are breathtaking, as is the food - the west coast of the Izu Peninsula is full of fishing ports and guests benefit from the catch, which appears in exquisite dishes at both breakfast at dinner. I would also recommend exploring the environs on foot. There are quiet fishing towns and easy mountain paths through lush forests hiding ancient temples. The price for all this is comparatively low when one considers the beauty of the location, the quality of the food and the kind, caring service. It's worth the time it takes to reach Odoi - we took the Shinkansen (bullet train) from Tokyo to Mishima, then a taxi to the inn (quite reasonable for four people). There is also the option of going to Shimizu and taking the Suruga Bay ferry to Odoi, but do check that the ferry is operating at the time you need, as crossings are liable to be cancelled when the water is rough. One final note: We had been somewhat concerned because our son-in-law has some tattoos, and tattooed people are often banned from public baths in Japan. You will have no such problem at Arujisu, possibly because tattoos are becoming more accepted in general, or possibly because of the welcoming attitude of everyone at this inn.

|2.48km from city centerA revisit after 5 years. If I were to describe this ryokan in one word, it would be ”beauty”. From the appearance of the gate, and from the atmosphere the moment you step into the entrance, it's already exceptional (usually there are one or two questions or retorts, but none at all). A truly first class ryokan with tradition and unique style. What's cool even in the bath lol. Since it's Shuzenji, the quality of the hot water isn't that good, but maybe because there aren't many rooms, it doesn't overlap with other guests, so it's comfortable. For those who can afford it, there are rooms with open-air baths and super-luxury rooms. (I can't do it yet lol) The food is standard kaiseki. The sense of the vessel is truly amazing, and the food itself is wonderful. I'm not the type to find surprises or new discoveries, but Coco has originality and a sense of specialness that makes me feel at ease. The amazing thing about this ryokan is that it doesn't make you feel formal at all, even though it's particular about beauty and has ”class and dignity”. There is nothing like the ulterior motive of trying to show better than the essence. Therefore, families are very welcome. When I first visited him, my eldest son was 1 and a half years old. I wondered what would happen when I took my 3 children with me, but I think the children were a little quieter than usual, probably because of the atmosphere of the inn...lol As far as I know, it's definitely the best inn One.

When I heard it at dinner, I thought it was a nice story, but after checking out, I asked the staff to suggest that it was the season, and I had a harvest experience.

|9.79km from city centerI was able to stay at the first stay, the special floor ”tosaemon”. It was hard to understand the reservation method, and even if I wanted to book a special floor A in the official site, I was able to book only B, but I was satisfied as I hoped. It is comfortable for the customer as the previous reputation, and the staff from Vietnam is satisfied with the hard work of the front. The hot water of the source hanging was just good, and the room bath was satisfactory with all the large wooden stones. The meal was able to enjoy wasabi in the private room both morning and evening. It is an inn that can be well prepared by ”secret bath Roman” in advance, and it is more than expected. It seems that 'Shirakabe no sho' has been renewed to 'Shirakabe', and the inside of the building and the yukata are 'Shirakabe no sho', but all of the appearance of the building is beautiful. However, the building is large and maze, and there are many up and down, and the arrangement of the room is a little dissatisfied. The special lounge is also slow and satisfying, but if you want to go to the cocktail time after 17 o'clock, it is the best if you have nuts. For us, you can meet the highest evaluation inn after a long time and designate it to a new inn.

I've been wanting to stay at this inn for a long time because I've been curious about the unique taste of the entire building with tatami mats. [Good points] ・Wifi can be connected without stress even indoors ・Smoking is allowed indoors, which is great for smokers like us ・There are many menus for both dinner and breakfast, and the amount is more than you can eat・Almost all rooms have an ocean view and you can enjoy the scenery. I can drink it, but I couldn't drink it because it was empty when I took a bath in the morning, and I didn't check the trash can where I threw away paper cups because it was full. I gave you 3,000 yen for two nights on the first day. I think it's an inn that I can be satisfied with overall, except for the small details. |9.81km from city centerReally, my favorite hotel on this trip, this is a hotel that has been paved, with a strong literary and artistic atmosphere, and the secret soup is private and comfortable. Although the service staff do not speak English well, they try their best to provide good service. Dinner must be included. It's dark in the countryside for 5 days and there is no place to eat. You can go to Jinglian Waterfall and Tiancheng Mountain Tunnel to play. There are only a few buses a day, which is more inconvenient, so make sure to arrange the itinerary and time.

|1.94km from city centerBeen wanting to experience this hotel for years and finally did it and it didn't disappoint. The hotel was ready for the reception before I arrived. When I walked to the door of the hotel, the waiter asked for my name and prepared a shoe tray with my name on it so that we could leave shoes at the door. The hotel itself is very easy to visit, and it is very popular. Each of the four public baths has its own merits. The No. 1 bath has a history of nearly a hundred years and is very worth experiencing, followed by the No. 3 open-air hot spring and the No. 4 half-open-air half-half open-air hot spring. I ordered a breakfast and dinner package, and a waiter came to the room to prepare the meals and set the table, and patiently introduced the dishes and eating methods to us, and took pictures for us. What needs to be reminded is that the breakfast starts at 8 o'clock, which is relatively late. It may be to let the guests have a good rest. I didn't know in advance. On the day of departure, an earlier train has been booked, and I have discussed with the hotel for early breakfast. There are many places to walk around the hotel, all within walking distance, a very good hot spring trip!

|15.72km from city centerThere is a large Japanese-style room with a robata-style table, a view of the ocean from the verandah, and a hot spring bath attached to the room. There is a bed in the back and it is partitioned off, so I think it is a suite room in a hotel. The hot spring was probably from a source, but it was quite hot, so I filled it up with water. In addition to the hot springs that come with rooms, there are two private hot springs that require reservations, but perhaps because there were not many guests staying at the hotel, they were empty and I was able to bathe in both of them even without making a reservation. The meal was creative kaiseki, so a variety of dishes were served, with a focus on seafood. They also have many types of local sake, and I was able to drink a lot of them. The menu changes every month. For breakfast, in addition to a variety of small dishes, we chose our favorite dried fish. It's about a 10 minute walk to the nearest beach, so you can take a walk even out of season. At night, the sky was full of stars and we even saw shooting stars. It may have been a day when there were not many guests, but the check-in and check-out procedures went smoothly without any problems and we didn't meet any other guests. To be honest, it was my first time to be taken care of by foreigners at this type of inn, but everyone was very welcoming. If you think about it, just because it's a Japanese-style inn doesn't mean that Japanese people have to serve customers. This is a matter of taste, so if you don't like customer service unless you're Japanese, I don't think we'll meet your expectations. Also, this time I was brought here by an acquaintance, so I didn't actively research information about this inn beforehand, but it seems that there have been ownership changes and renewal openings in the past, and that it is still in use today. I think that's why past evaluations have varied. The price is not at a reasonable level, so I don't know if I will be able to come here often, but I would definitely like to stay here again.
