This hotel is in a beautiful setting in the south of Eindhoven, opposite an attractive park. Although this is a very quiet location, it takes less than 15 minutes to walk into the centre of Eindhoven. I liked the hotel decor - particularly the lighting, the pictures of Eindhoven in years gone by and the black and white bathroom tiles. The room was clean, comfortable and very quiet. There were coffee and tea-making facilities in the room, with a particularly nice range of teas. The hotel staff were very welcoming. I look forward to staying here again.

Hotel with good location. The decoration in reception and the main hall very well. We were surprised when we entered our rooms. They had nothing to do with what we had seen at reception. Antique rooms, no heating and much used mattresses. The room was very bright and the bathroom was very yellow. Breakfast was a bit poor, little choice. The best thing about the stay was the friendly and professional treatment of the whole team.

I checked in on a Friday afternoon with my uncle and we were directly received very kindly from a young lady at the reception. We got a special room delivery service for my handicaped uncle, which was very attentive and engaged; the rooms were very clean, the pool was open and perfectly clean, the staff was nice and the breakfast was very satisfying, so I can‘t do more than to give you five stars, thank you!

On my arrival (Sun. evening) the city was in chaos due to the Coronavirus. The staff, and particularly Imke on reception, were excellent. They provided an oasis of calm amidst the madness, even finding time to give me a personal tour of the spectacular buildings! With all bars and restaurants closed, and unsure of how long the Hotel would remain open, Imke reorganised my booking and flights with the utmost speed and efficiency, as there was a fear that I could be quarantined on my return to Ireland, if I actually COULD return! The following day I took a bike and followed the river Dommel to the Gennerper Parken, a beautiful part of your city! (You should promote this area more, as it is within pleasant walking/cycling distance of the Hotel) In spite of all the chaos, I truly enjoyed my stay at your Hotel, and would not hesitate to visit again when things settle back to normal. You have a beautiful Hotel and excellent staff! Best Regards, Kevin C.Gibbons

I stayed in this hotel whilst entertaining clients for the PSV football match and I have to say it worked perfectly well. Warm friendly service on the desk when we arrived, nothing was too much trouble throughout the stay. Rooms were very modern, nicely appointed and beds very comfortable. The hotel is very central so easy to walk around the city and only a short walk to the Philips Stadion. Plannng further visits with clients to Eindhoven so I will certainly use this hotel again. Well done all :-)

This is a hip and contemporary hotel found in Eindhoven city centre with modern facilities and really cool features like a pool table, pinball machine and communal sitting areas. Our extra-large twin room was really, really spacious with a large entrance hall and walk-in shower cubicle. The beds were comfy, the room was clean and had a big wall-mounted television. Check-in is easy (self-service): we didn’t once speak with any staff, making it our own stay effectively! Now that’s cool. The graffiti effect decor styled corridors, carpets and overall trendy environment add to the experience. I would definitely return here and highly recommend this location for anyone wishing to be near to restaurants and bars in Eindhoven.

We planned to stay one night at the Boutique Hotel Lumiere on March 15, however, closer to the date it became clear that the airports of our destination point were closed due to the coronovirus pandemic. In addition, it became known that according to official statistics, the proportion of cases of coronavirus infections is highest in Eindhoven (almost 50% of all cases at that time). However, the hotel, considered that the best way to advertise its services, as well as to show the level of its social responsibility during a pandemic, is to continue to pretend that nothing is happening and not cancel the reservation. Upon our request to cancel the reservation and get a refund, they dryly replied with an email template that the reservation was non refundable. I understand that if it was our mistake of a trip cancelation I wouldn’t ask for anything. But we all have been victims to this circumstances and now bear the losses. Everyone should understands that these measures are a shared responsibility. And everyone understands that when the quarantine is over, people will continue to travel again, and they will begin to book hotels and buy tickets again. As a traveller, I would have thought before staying at this hotel, whose management, in the midst of a pandemic, continues to conduct business, letting people into dormitory rooms, despite the injunction of the World Health Organization.

Just over 1 hour from Amsterdam. Eidenhoven is a city with so much to offer. Finding this hotel initially was a little tricky for my GPS. A quick call to the hotel fixed that. The location to the train station is a short walk and very easy. The accommodation can only be described as perfect. I made use of the Penthouse. A massive apartment with an outdoor terrace and a full kitchen with all the equipment. The fittings, ambience and equipment is perfect. I love this place and will be back as soon as I can. All the supermarkets, restaurants and activities are on the doorstep. The hospitality is genuinely friendly and very welcoming. Thank you so much. I am sorry I couldn’t stay longer.

At arrival there was a very friendly employee (Carla) who tried to accommodate us in a nice room. She managed to find a nice available suite with a good view. The room had a nice layout with a sitting area and a separate free-standing bathtub. There was also a separate rain shower in the bathroom. The room was clean except for the bathtub area which had some dirt on the floor. Also, there were red stripes at the bottom of the bathtub. The was a Nespresso machine with only 3 cups though. The room was for a maximum of 4 people though. When we entered the room, it was very hot. The air-conditioning managed to get it cool in about 2 hours. This is one of the few times I see an air-conditioning which is actually working. After a good night of sleep and a very good dinner in the restaurant we went for breakfast. The view was nice up there. The breakfast was in buffet style with some items packaged and some items not. There was someone preparing hot food (not on request though) The quality of the food was ok. Noting special. The coffee was not ok though. So, skip the coffee at breakfast. I think there is some room for improvement here. Check out was again friendly. However, when I got home, I discovered the room rate charged was higher than the room rate booked. I find that very strange. Overall, we had a pleasant stay. The working air-conditioning is a big plus in my book. The layout of the room was pleasant to. I think we will come again. The Good: • Very friendly employee’s which also creates a good atmosphere • Nice room, good layout that actually works • Working air-conditioning • Very good restaurant for dinner The Ugly: • Breakfast is not equal to the high standard of dinner. Room for improvement • I find it very strange that you charge a different room rate then booked • The NH app is not working at all. Reservation is not available. Conclusion: Very nice hotel with friendly employee and a working AC. Dinner is of a very high standard. Breakfast is nothing special. We enjoyed our stay overall and will be back

Hotel location was brillant as it was very central. Rooms were excellent had all ammenities that were required and beds were especially comfortable. Very good value for money. Highly recommend. Only downside was there were roadworks at the hotel and an email advising us of this would have been good as we spent an hour driving around as Sat Nav was confused.

Great location, excellent value for price and super friendly staff. Easy to get from/to airport and train station; the hotel is within a short walk distance from main shop streets. The only thing we missed was that there's no kettle+coffee/tea in the room (nothing major, but it would be also a good amenity).

Except for the clogged sink and the clanging of pots and utensils noise coming from the kitchen of the hotel's restaurant, the room is not bad. Try to avoid room 20 or was it 22 which is located beside the restaurant kitchen. Staff are very friendly. Reception opens at 2pm. In our case, the receptionist was late a bit. If you come early and you want to go around the city without bringing your luggage, go to the restaurant area and ask for assistance. The location of the hotel is less than 10 minutes walk to the center but around 20 minutes walk from the train station. (this is far if you have heave pieces of luggage. The breakfast is decent. This place is good for short stays.

The hotel is located in the airport. The room is large. There is also a hot water bottle. The service staff is warm and generous. The next day, when you check out, you can leave the card directly. The key is to meet a Chinese front desk. Although they are inside the airport, they are very curious that they have done a good job of soundproofing and can’t hear the sound of taking off and landing! Great!

We are staying at the hotel for one night at room 443 until today ( 4th of October ) the room is very nice and functional ( a bit old fashion but it is ok ) because it has a very nice view facing to the church. very friendly and helpful front desk and restaurant staffs. We requested a late check out at 13:00 and lucky us due tu low occupancy we could get it. We really enjoy out stay at the hotel. Unfortunately we had not so nice breakfast because it was only 30 minutes ( ok, i understand it is because of corona protocol, but every hotels we were stayed with we got minimum 1 hour breakfast ) but again it is not a big issue because we are not a big eater. My suggestion is only for the breakfast chef is to be more friendly to the guests. I was so friendly, greeted him so warm but he said nothing ( ok fine, maybe he didn’t hear it ), When i asked him does he has omelette he was suddenly became so agressive pointing to the bords : “Read there ! If it is not there then we don’t have it” in a very high tone. And i said : “sorry my fault i didn’t see it”. Then i asked my husband did he wants some sausaged or bacon, then the breakfast chef interrupted me while yelling : “ Read there !” ( which is no related at all with my question towards my husband ) feeling so irritated with his behavior and agressivity.

Stayed 2 nights during the week past lockdown. Hotel is functioning as best as it can given the restrictions. Restaurant staff and in particular the Romanian waitress were absolutely first class. Housekeeping let themselves down by forgetting to service the room as they should. I passed them in the corridor and said good morning telling the the room was available in case they had passed it. However when I returned later it was still a tidy mess with wet towels and overflowing bins. Food was good for the money and in fact the hotel is good for the money. If you don’t want to eat in there are an abundance of bars and restaurants to suit every taste within very easy walking distance. Above ground car park immediately next to the hotel but you must book in advance. Will use again when in Eindhoven.

My full hotel review after spending two nights in Eindhoven: A 4-star hotel that managed to underwhelm, surprise, baffle and insult me. I did not expect 5-star experience, I expected 4-star and unfortunately received a stay that is not even worth 2 stars. The hotel praises itself for its design and the fact that many rooms are unique. Right, that is one way to put it.... I booked a loft room for two nights despite the Covid19 problems that were affecting every hotel in the country. But it was a necessity, and this hotel is well located in the city center and has affordable parking possibilities. All over the country, hotels were allowed to open their restaurant, but only for hotel guests. More on that disaster later. Let us start with the room: A so-called Loft Room, and according to their website this was supposed to be 33 m2. Well, the room was measured by an optimist. 8 meters long and 3 meters wide makes 24 m2 including the bathroom. Maybe this was one of those features making the room unique? Ours was way too small. The clothing was supposed to be stored in open space, so they could handily collect as much dust as possible. Most cupboards in hotels have a door. I suppose this is considered design at Inntel? Another feature was the cabinet where you could find the minibar and safe. It actually had a door! Alas, the door could not even fully open, the bed stood in its way. Another piece of design I did not understand. Or perhaps it was supposed art? The bathroom contained an electricity socket that was about to fall of the wall. You could easily get your fingers behind it to see if the electricity worked. The result when a guest would get a shock would probably be considered performance art. Or was this complimentary hairdresser service? The shower screen had not seen a cleaner recently. The brown tarnish was probably considered design too, or perhaps it was another element that made our room unique. Not sure. How to control the room temperature? Yes, there was a control panel, but that was just a visual gadget and did not do anything. But one could open the window! In a 4-star hotel guests expect a more sophisticated way to influence the room temperature. Really. Breakfast. As the restaurant was closed due to Covid-19, ‘Room service’ would put a brown bag in front of your door in the morning and you could make yourself some coffee or tea using the coffee machine and kettle in the room. Cutlery was made of plastic and plates were non-existent. In a 4-star hotel. Not a youth-hostel. A 4-star hotel. I will let the pictures do the talking, the design feature was maybe inspired by prison food, although I think if inmates would get this served, riots seem inevitable. Since the hotel had decided (for whatever reason) to only open the restaurants on weekends, it was not possible for guests like me (staying during the week) to get a meal apart from a limited room service menu. Which was not an attractive option afte

It's not the first time I'm visiting Holiday Inn Eindhoven. This time I've got a very good price, around 65 euro per day for a double room so I didn't skip the chance to stay in this modern, cozy hotel! Service was excellent, room was sparkling clean, extra spacious, with modern furnishing, the king size bed comfortable with pillow selection, soft or hard. There was a coffee machine and water boiler with complimentary coffee capsules, tea, chocolate, cream and sugar. Fridge and mini bar with alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, still and sparkling water, sweet and salty snacks, for a fee. The hotel is at short walking distance from the main station and the beautiful, full of life, town center! The only -minor- problem was the flat screen TV that shows it's..age, an old Philips (..yeah what else in Eindhoven :), the place Philips company was founded back in 1891 ) and though there was a USB port on the side of the TV, it has not a media player so we couldn't watch the movies we brought with us in a USB stick. But as I already told this was not serious. All in all it was a great experience and value for money!
