|2.33km from city centerThe decoration is very old and has some smell. You need to let the smell go in every day; the hygiene is quite clean; the sound of the air conditioner is a window machine, and the sound is relatively loud: the quilt is a layer of cloth, and there is a separate thin blanket; the location is in a pedestrian street, taxi It’s not very convenient. Many drivers don’t know it. There are subways and buses nearby. In general, the traffic is convenient; there are shopping places such as bugis around; the service is good; breakfast is relatively simple, and there is a Yabo Center nearby that is good for eating; Sim Lim Square nearby It is said that the water is deep, so please be cautious when shopping; there are no dental appliances, there are fewer charging ports, and no water is provided.

|4.05km from city centerThis capsule hotel budget-wise is recommendable. The location is great and 5 minutes away from the metro station. I have taken the mixed capsule. I did not expect much because of the price but I stuttered with disappointment when I was there. I availed myself of a stay with free breakfast for 5 days and in these 5 days, never I had tried and seen any food. What I saw are leftovers kept uncleaned. I usually wake up at 5-6 am because I have a conference by 7 am. By that time, no food on the counter. The toilets were furthermore small and crowded. No social distancing or infection control practices. The spaces are cluttered, unkempt, and unmaintained. I have raised the issue to an Agoda representative who told me that I should have the breakfast inclusion. Still, the next day, no breakfast was there. I planned to talk to the reception but most of the time, staff are not present there.

|2.77km from city centerPlease read - IMPORTANT about Campbell Inn: My 3 tourist friends from overseas have encountered potential scamming of tourists at this Campbell Inn. They have lodged a police report and contact Singapore Tourism Board and CASE in regards to this case. Hope by doing so, it will prevent the owner of Campbell Inn from cheating other tourists and disgracing Singapore as a safe country again. My 3 friends were ignorant of the various Google negative reviews of Campbell Inn and booked two nights with the Inn. However it seems that they have been scammed. It was their first visit to Singapore and she emailed and they tried to call the Inn several times without getting a proper response from the Inn. They wanted to inform the Inn about the late timing that they would be reaching the Inn. However as the Inn was uncontactable for a proper response, the 3 tourists decided to check-in physically at the premises. The Inn was obviously unsafe as it was occupied by alot of migrant workers in the premises and look more like a illegal foreign worker dormitory. The 3 tourists were initially informed by the receptionist that their room were given to other workers and were even asked to stay together with the male workers in the same room. They realized that these workers were wearing scantily (only sarongs) in the room and some of them appears to be drunk. The 3 tourists refused and left the Inn immediately feeling the whole situation was not right and unsafe. However they were left stranded on the streets in the middle of the night. My friends credit card was deducted for the nights which they did not stay in the Inn. They believed that the Inn management have planned this scam in such a manner that they can easily cheat the tourists who did not know the actual ground situation of the Inn. Also suspect several of these workers may be overstayers without legal work permits as they seems to be staying there for a long time. The Inn is definitely not a safe place for tourists to stay in. The practice of this Inn not only causes distress to the overseas visitors but also shame us Singaporeans which our country projected a very safe reputation to visitors from all over the world. The matter has been reported to relevant Singapore authorities.

|0.79km from city centerI stayed here in early December 2022 for a few nights. In general, this hostel is very conveniently located. It is only 4-minute walk from the Downtown Line MRT station. It is the same station that has the closest ATMs. The hostel requires you to pay your balance using cash. If you want to pay by card, there is an additional 3% charge and you'd have to walk to their sister hostel to use their card machine. The sister site is on another street but they claim it's just a 5-minute walk. Also, if you want to print anything or use a microwave, you'd have to walk across the street to the Chic Hostel to do so since this one doesn't have it. There is a fridge but no microwave. The good thing is that they do your laundry, within the same day if you tell them to, for $12. The dorms on the 4th floor did not have a lock on the door so it didn't feel secure from anyone else who may decide to wonder up there. They did have a key card for the individual lockers though. There's only one outlet by your bed so I'd recommend getting an adapter with multiple USB ports or something. The 4th and 3rd floors share a 2-stall shower and toilet combo which was a tight squeeze and a bit moldy, which probably cannot be helped with such humid climates. Only bodywash was available in the showers. Each toilet come with its own handheld bidet. I just wished that the restrooms had paper towels to dry your hands. I did like that each bed had its own TV with Netflix and headphones (even though I never used it). The A/C runs all night which is great. I also liked that eac bed has their owne privacy curtains as well as their own drying rack and clothes hangers.

|9.8km from city centerIn curtin Singapore Reading, very close to the new site of the school, 15 minutes by bus, and close to Jin Wentai, the hotel provides continental breakfast from Monday to Friday, although the variety is very limited, but the breakfast is enough for nutrition, especially the ham is delicious, the hotel apartment room is what I see Singapore Hotel is comparison Big, there is a kitchen where you can cook kitchen utensils and tableware. The washing machine with dryer is very convenient. There are also food courts nearby, but there is a pasta restaurant downstairs in the hotel that tastes very good, and it is also very close to west coast park It is very suitable for running. house keeping is done on Tuesdays and Saturdays. It won’t be too disturbing to rest. Overall, this apartment is very good, very quiet and suitable for living. If you don’t like noisy, it’s also very difficult to book.

|0.96km from city centerThe hotel itself has a perfect location and it is accessible to everything you need. The staff is friendly and very accommodating and easy access to everything. When it comes to the room not that spacious but still cozy and relaxing vibes in addition to that is the bed and pillows is very comfortable however the toilet has no bidet (Sad). And it has a variety or restaurants inside of the hotel where u can choose from. And my most awaited to try is the pool it is gorgeous, stunning views. Overall experience is excellent.

Inside the room is quite narrow. But it was well allocated, cool air conditioning, soft pillows, complete with shower cream, shampoo, toothbrush, dryer, refrigerator, safe, very strong water, and the bathroom has a bidet hose as well.
The 1st floor has a pantry and free hot and cold water.

Although my room, 417, had a slightly strange smell, my overall experience was fantastic. The highlight was the convenient hotel shuttle transfer to Wheelock, the famous Orchard area in Singapore.

|3.74km from city centerI stayed here for three nights for a business trip in October.
This is not a 5 star hotel as what it claims to be. Lobby is small, the room is old, and water pressure of the bath room could be stronger. One of the room cards they gave me at the front desk was not working. Then the second time I had to go back to them for changing the room card was on that extra night I booked at the same room (it’s even done before arriving Singapore). I think their room card system is old and would not adjust accordingly to changes made to the bookings.
Therefore, I think it’s overpriced comparing to other hotels on the same street (Orchard Road)
If you viewed it as a four star, services in general was fine. Good choices and services for breakfasts.

|3.71km from city centerArrive in Singapore late at night. I was at an age when it was difficult to stay at the airport, so I chose to lie down, but this was quite comfortable. A taxi from the airport costs $33 (including late night charges). The late-night reception was unmanned, but the self-check-in system worked well, and although it was a small space that looked like a closet, the women's 6-person room was so quiet that I thought no one was there, and the mattress and sheets were surprisingly good. It's high and I had a good night's sleep (although in the morning some people started unpacking their suitcases and there was nowhere to step) Showers and toilets are clean, but be aware that the floors can get wet. Also, perhaps because of the corona crisis, there is no breakfast service as mentioned in previous reviews.

Staffs were friendly. Informed the staff beforehand that I’ll be celebrating my husband’s birthday. Duty manger was very thoughtful to allow earlier check in and room deco to be done. Upon check-in room was not decorated and was only decorated when we went out in the evening. Spoilt the surprise as my husband suspected that I planned something. Nevertheless, kuddos to the staff for the effort.

|2.16km from city centerThis is a new venue in Singapore, offering guests loads of comfort. It consists of a main building (reception/lounge area/work space) and a newly built building, where the rooms/apartments are located. In between lie the swimming pool 30 mtrs or so long and the gym. Rooms are very comfortable, well designed and well equipped. Staff is very helpful. They offer guests a good breakfast, not abundant but more than enough for us. Around six they offer guests free wine and beer and some snacks. Non alcoholic beverages/coffee/tea are available 24/7. Bicycles are available too.

|0.88km from city centerBooked a room for my son for 2 nights. When he checked in, hotel says he’s booked for 2 different rooms for each night of his stay, which would mean he would transfer rooms. Who would do this? Anyway, hotel was able to fix it his and gave him one room for his 2 nights stay. Hotel said that trip booked him in 2 different rooms. All good in the end.
Regarding Housekeeping, he put make up room when he left early for the day, when he got back, room was not made. Housekeeping came while he was in the room, luckily, I had a separate room for my husband and I so was able to transfer while they’re cleaning the room. He transferred because housekeeping said they won’t come back and clean room at a later time. This we found odd. They should’ve cleaned it earlier when guest was out, and if not, they should adjust and come back if guest is back at the room mid day.
Lobby was beautiful. It opened up to a big open space, outdoor, with a grass patch. Super relaxing vibe.
Concierge at ground floor was very helpful. From keeping our bags after checkout as our flight back was at night, and for helping us get a ride when we couldn’t access our grab app, and keeping stuff so we didn’t have to go back to our room when we decided to have a night cap after our event on sat night, and just being attentive to our needs while we were at the lobby. Good job!

|0.95km from city centerFirst, the noise from the air conditioner in each bed was too loud, so if you need complete silent to sleep this will be a big issue. Also the ladder's installed on the wall beside instead of in front of my bed, and I walked a lot when visiting Singapore so my legs were sore at the end of the day and climbing up to the top bunk was hard for me, I almost fell down a few times. Despite those inconveniences, I would still recommend this place if you want to travel on a budget. They offer complimentary breakfast, plus their bathrooms are clean and the service staffs are very nice.

|0.91km from city centerThe location is good. Clarke Quay Metro Station and Clarke Quay Shopping Center are just a few minutes walk away. There are two 7-11 convenience stores next to the hotel. The buses are also much closer than the subway. The minutes are here. The hotel facilities are fairly clean, the air conditioner has no noise, the bed is comfortable and not soft, there are free mineral water and oranges every day, there are not many samples for breakfast, but it is enough, eat in the morning and start the day. The room has a hair dryer, very nice. The front desk can help to call a taxi, there is a lift for the disabled, very practical. The room is very small, the washstand is next to the bed, the 20-inch suitcase barely opens two, and then it is more difficult to open the door.

|3.4km from city centerThis review is long over due. My extended family and I stayed at Oakwood Studios Singapore through most of December 2022 and onto the first week of January 2023. The circumstances around our stay was very difficult but the management and staff at the Oakwood Studios made our stay most comfortable and we can’t thank them enough. This is not your typical service apartment but one with a special touch. And it seems to be popular with expats on short assignments to Singapore and families who have patients being treated at MT E Orchard or many of the other medical facilities across Singapore. Nestled across from York hotel and one building next to Quincy this is a most unique property. I have stayed at both the others in the past but I prefer Oakwood by far with its balcony in every room and clean and modern style with kitchenette. But it’s the people that made all the difference. I would like to specially thank Hitesh for going out of his way and even while on holiday to accommodate our ever changing dates and need for rooms. A big thanks to Nass as well for always stepping up and being most accommodating. Thank you Dan, Denise, Kym, Jet and Shobina for all the help at reception, with the brilliant breakfast boxes and recommendations. The residents loved the Thursday night cocktail and snacks which were complimentary and the many hidden outdoor places in the building (including the roof top pool). A must stay in Singapore for those planning to stay for a week or longer. At the time we were there, we heard that the Ascott group had bought Oakwood Studios. As good as the Ascott brand are themselves, I do hope they allow Oakwood Studios to retain its unique style and personality.

|0.41km from city centerit's my 4th/5th visit to Clan hotel , decided to treat myself hence chose to return to Clan Hotel despite having a previous unpleasant counter 🙂 not too sure if the welcome ”routine” changed , didn't get the tea ceremony this time but not a big issue . got a corner room , the room didnt fail us . everything is great about the room , comfort & cleanliness is good . booked w breakfast , i kind of miss the previous set menu options over the current buffet breakfast .. not too much variety . not too sure if i came late around 9ish , the staffs are less attentive and more concern about the closing time . was assigned to a table , however after upon taking my food my table was taken by another person 😕 not too sure what went wrong , did the staff forgot that table was already assigned or the other person just sat there ? if i'm not wrong we will be assigned to tables but not free seating .. and the staff served our drinks to that table should have noticed why is 2 cups of drinks ordered for 1 pax 😅 i had to ask the staff to reassign me to another table ? 9.30 - 10.30 staffs are more anxious to close the breakfast . food are not replenished as often , recommend to go early for breakfast if you are able to wake up

Clean, the cleaning towel will be changed every day. There are both Chinese and Western varieties for breakfast, and there will be some small changes every day. The coffee is delicious and fully meets the needs. The geographical position is superior, five minutes' walk from the Orchard Road shopping mall, each shopping mall will have a large food court underground. It is also very close to the Botanical Garden, and I often go for morning jogs. The distance from the hotel to the Botanical Garden is about 8 kilometers. It is nostalgia and old world charm from the friendliness of the staff, Shasheed who checked me into a wonderful room, Gordon who patiently taught me how to operate the TV and Irah who checked me out with a smile and much kindness to the entire building reminiscence of a bygone era.
