      If you're staying near the station for a night or two, this is a good hotel. Clean, ok size rooms, quiet and well maintained - ie what you'd expect from a decent hotel. Food is good too, as are the staff - all very helpful and friendly. Well priced, but it's a business style hotel, ie not ideal for long stays or families - the area isn't great and a bit far away from where everything else happens. We had booked another hotel nearby online and it was awful, so we checked out immediately and walked up the road and found this place, so checked in here and were very happy for 3 nights, then caught the train from the main station (we were travelling in India).

      We stayed in this hotel for 8 nights. It is not a lavish hotel, the rooms are a bit old fashioned but their service was amazing. Chennai is on a water crisis but whenever we requested some drinking water they provided it without any questions. And never charged extra. The rooms are spacious, clean and maintained every day. The location is in a residential area so not much traffic around the place. They have a nice restaurant, quite famous, on the first floor which serves north n south Indian dishes. Their breakfast is really good. The only problem is - access to their front door by car is not easily possible as it is at the side of the building. Blue Iris ***agement should work on it.

      I've stayed at the Crowne Plaza on two occasions in 2022 (in January and April)...and I was accompanied by family on both occasions. The consensus across the entire family is that both our stays here were totally worth it. The Crowne Plaza is a fantastic property that has a great location in the heart of the city and is close to the airport and major shopping and entertainment hubs. The hotel has a very charming and welcoming ambience, and the rooms at the hotel are clean, comfortable and packed with useful amenities and facilities that are practical and easy to use. What I loved the most about the hotel is its staff - right from the front desk / reception to the concierge to the bell boys to the housekeeping staff to the travel desk to the restaurant staff, every staff member was courteous, polite, well-trained, efficient, hospitable, helpful and always served us with a smile on their faces. The food selection at the restaurants, although a tad limited, was pretty decent and always tasted delicious. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay on both occasions and we will definitely be coming back here every time we visit Chennai...Keep up the good work Crowne Plaza...!!!

      I have stayed at Novotel in Europe as well as at Hyderabad, and had a reasonable expectation of the hotel quality. It is a dinghy, congested hotel that gives a feeling of claustrophobia. The restaurant is incredibly small with tables crammed into the small space, defying easy movement. There were very few vegetarian dishes at lunch of below average quality, and not worth the money I paid for my guest to dine there. The room was average. The breakfast was average, but the waiters were helpful. I wanted to like the hotel, but am not inspired to return to this location. Two stars only.

      Attentive staff at reception and restaurant. Good food with big buffet spreads. After Trident Mumbai, this looks like a distant poor cousin. This place has sufficient staff but the room service and housekeeping needs to improve ***ifold. Got locked out of room. It took 2 trips and 3 calls for someone to come and check the lock. From 2pm to 7:30pm, they could not fix (no one came to fix, actually). I was given the advice to leave the latch on so that door doesnot close, if I want to go out. Ordered dinner didnot come till an hour and 15mnts. After reminding, they sent after 20mnts. Basically forgot. Then waived the food bill though, I said, not needed. Sound isolation in rooms is not good. Had to get up a couple of times in the night due to door closing and conversation sounds from neighbouring rooms. Not really very close to the airport. I, probably, will try a different hotel next time.

Hot water runs in the taps only during the morning hours. Seems like those who check in later in the day don't require hot water!!?? The only complaint is about the windows not being sound proof! Since the hotel is located on the main road, the irritating noise of the vehicles plying could be heard even on the 3rd floor.

The restaurant is on the first floor, and the taste from the lobby to the entrance of the restaurant is too Indian. Breakfast is ok, because I usually only make oat milk, I do n’t eat Indian meals and do n’t comment on the taste. The service attitude is very good and very welcoming. The emphasis is on exaggerating the Asian restaurants in the same courtyard. The names are shown in the picture. The environment is very good. Recommend beef and chicken wings, according to their own requirements of spicy degree, more in line with my taste. Tiramisu is fine too. Overall satisfaction.

      The breakfast was actually quite rich, but we didn't really get much of it. The hotel service impressed me very politely and warmly. The elder brother named V at the door helped us use Uber to drive three times. I had to take a picture before leaving. The security work is in place, and people and luggage have to go through security checks to give people a sense of security. The hotel has a Chinese restaurant. The price is relatively expensive. The chef is a big brother from Shandong. After having a meal, this big brother just stood by and chatted with us for two and a half hours. Alone in a foreign land, it is estimated that it is really bad.

I would like to make special mention of Mr Gokul the Food and Beverage guy at the Square Restaurant. He was so accommodating and took special care of us every time we visited the restaurant. The housekeeping guy I forgot his name was also very helpful. The front desk guy Saahil helped me a lot in making me understand the facilities available in the hotel. Overall it was a wonderful stay.       I had the pleasure of staying at the Hanu Reddy Residences, Poes Garden in Chennai between July 14 and August 4th as I was in India on personal work. Starting from the time I checked in, to my departure, I experienced only the highest levels of hospitality, graciousness and service. Whether it was the office coordinator See***, the room maintenance team or the servers, there was a genuine desire to make me comfortable and take care of me. This was also beautifully understated where there was not a single time when I felt I was staying at a hotel - it was like staying at home. The rooms and bathrooms were immaculately clean and well appointed and the the beds were very comfortable. The food was very well prepared and wholesome. The building is surrounded by neem and trees and the roof garden is a tree level sanctuary that is peaceful and beautiful. All this at a piece that is competitive Credit to the ***agement for having created an all permeating culture of genuine caring hospitality. I have no doubt that HRR will remain my go to residence option when when visiting Chennai.

      20 minutes drive from the airport, if the plane is not blocked for 6-8 minutes at night. Do not use the hotel car, to the airport to 150, about 7 kilometers, too dark. Can find a friend or Uber, ola. Breakfast is partial to India, but there is bread, bacon. There are also donuts to eat. Indian donut prices are more expensive than the country. There is nothing to eat near the hotel, the subway is also far away, and most people are not expected to find it. The price from the airport is 300-350 rupees. It will be cheaper on Google. The hotel has a good environment and there are swimming pools and restaurants in the open air. I can feel it at night, although there is no night scene, sitting there to eat is good, the price is about 100-200 RMB. Need to tip.

      Check-In & Check-Out Process is good. Staff are helpful. Stayed on the 2nd Floor and there was a strange stink in the alleyway which i informed your housekeeping regularly to spray air freshner which was being done. Appreciate that. It would be better to check and resolve the same or have a deodorizer put in the alleyway. There was a repeated Fire Alarm being activated in the 2nd floor alleyway during my conference which caused a little inconvenience because of the noise & being reset by switching off the main power. Also, i was staying in Room 223 and on the 27th early morning around 0530 AM there was a crowd in Room No. 221 playing loud Hindi music and talking in loud voices disturbing my sleep in the next room. It could not have been any customer as everything became quiet after 0630 hrs and never heard any noises later. Food at Mynt was good but if you stay longer it becomes boring as the food menu is the same everyday and looks like a repetition/recycling of the same food. Food is OK but a little extra improvement is required with the taste/authenticity. Overall Stay was fine. Had to stay longer but decided to leave back home .

      It was an excellent stay in the Hotel Belstead. The location is nice with good connectivity. I searched hotels on the websites and found The Belstead is one of the best hotels. I had booked a room for 3 days, had a great experience. I stayed here with my family. All the Covid SOP were followed. Gatemens were very dutiful. The Reception ***agers, Housekeeping, and the Restaurant staff were polite and helpful. Friendly staff, my 3 years old son enjoyed a lot. The Food and the complimentary buffet breakfast was very tasty. Very Nice and affordable hotel. Highly recommend. Best Hotel with reasonable price. Thanks & Regards Kalpa- Assam

      The hotel is close to the airport and close to a light rail station. The location is average and there are no large shopping malls around. Ten minutes to the airport. The rooms are large and the beds are comfortable. The hotel rooms are dominated by wooden furniture and I like it very much. It's clean and hygienic. There are disposable toiletries and slippers. Front desk attitude is also good. The hotel's self-catering meals are more Indian, depending on personal preference. There is a roast chicken restaurant nearby, as well as local Indian vegetarian restaurants. The default WIFI of the hotel often goes offline. Later the front desk gave another WIFI network password, and the problem was solved.

      I have been staying at the Leela Palace Chennai since 2014 when My Tony Robbins first took us ( platinum partners) with him on a spiritual trip. I was so much impressed with the rooms, the beauty and cleaned hotel but also the service everywhere was outstanding. Mr.Vipin has always made a difference during my stays ( sometimes alone, sometimes with family and friends ) Mr. Vipin and his team go that extra mile to deliver whatever you need regarding efficiency and effectiveness. What I have experienced in all my trips is passion for adding value to us … loyal clients- I myself have become a raving fan of Mr Vipin and his staff and the whole organization. I even have my favorite driver available to pick me up at the airport regardless of the time of my flight. I love the leela palace Chennai - it is my second home in the world. I felt safe during Corona crises and I always had the warmth of a family there. I will be back in July 2022.
