0.3km from downtownStayed in this hotel for 5 nights. Centrally located. Good restaurants nearby for indian visitors who are unable to eat authentic chinese food. Starbucks , subway, indian restaurants are all nearby and one can also order food on panda. Do not expect good vegetarian food from this hotel. Do not opt for having breakfast in this hotel, very less choice and it's not at all good. Rooms are nice , big and clean. In short this is a good hotel only to stay for business travellers only who are ready to eat outside food.

Hotels Near Cheoeumcheoreom In Gangneung-Si Review
Gangneung Tourist Hotel was a good option for a night near the train station as we arrived late. While it’s in the town center, it is a bit far from the nightlife area so nothing was open late in the area other than a handful of fast food restaurants. The room was spacious and clean and offered a good view of the city. A separate key for the elevator is required which was about the only annoyance. If you don’t need to be near the beach area, it’s a decent option.
I went on a family trip to commemorate my mother's birthday.
It was a different view from the photo, but
When I made a phone call after making a reservation, I was informed in advance that Seaview was not available. Thanks to the male staff who checked in (like a manager), the part I was almost misunderstood was well resolved, so I had a double enjoyable time.
Thank you again and make sure to watch the sunrise in time for the sunrise on the 6th floor.
The facilities are similar but clean and the water is really good

We were staying together with my husband and my 8yrs old daughter 3 nights in this hotel. I know we are coming from Europe but to be honest I have never seen in my life such a way of treating clients. We did check in and they asked us to pre pay in advance the full stay, until then I can understand they might have different policies. None explained us about the breakfast or where they served lunch or dinner. They don’t speak English and the one who can speak a bit wasn’t there or didn’t want to take too much time to apologise. We came into the room and despite my reservation was for a two twin beds, we got two single. We went to the reception and tried to explained them the difference between single and twin. Finally the manager on duty came and he gave us another room with one double and one single bed. Our room was not clean. We have found dust everywhere and the closet was also dirty. We did not have enough towels either. We asked and they came to clean it. Floor was also dirty. The first morning despite we left the keys of the car at the reception they called to the room at 9 o’clock to asked for them. Finally they found them. In the afternoon we wanted to use one of the two pools and we first went to the 5th floor but was all in the shadows so we went up to the infinity pool on the 15th floor. After 10’ they came to explained in a very poor English that wasn’t allowed for kids, so we went back down again to the 5th floor. We were trying to find a small spot to relax a bit while our daughter was swiming (or trying to because was absolutely full). Suddenly someone came to charge for the sun beds (not sure how much but something about 30.000 KW ~ 25€ for each!!!!). Yes yes yes!!! In this hotel they charged not only for the sun beds but for chairs and tables if you want to eat something. After a discussion with the waitress who was trying to charge us someone else came and also explained to us that we needed to pay also to enter to the swiming pool area!!!! So, if you are a family of 3 you pay 75€ for the sun beds and others 50€ for the admission!!! All after paying for a small and not really clean room about 180€ per night without breakfast!!! The pool area was terrible and small. We didn’t even want to try the breakfast and we went out every morning to grab something outside the hotel. Second day they forgot to clean out room. Last but not least in this hotel even when you put NOT DISTURB they knock at your door!!!!
The facilities are all neat and located in the city, so it was great to go out to eat outside! I liked the cozy blanket on the fluffy bed haha And the breakfast was so delicious I didn’t eat breakfast but I ate a lot of gel lately haha Coffee on the 2nd floor is a good taste too, but I am so satisfied with the reasonable price I want to come again next time! The regrettable thing is that I saw in other people's reviews, but there was only one shower gown, not the number of people, so one couldn't wear it.. And the shower head pressure was so strong that my head hurt a little while washing my hair. It is highly recommended for those who do not have a good rest!
Elegant restaurant, wide Italian menu and very generous waiters! Prices are OK, but the dishes have good proportions. Lobster dish was delicious, also the bacon with peppers! Food orders taken until 8:40 pm, restaurant open until 10pm.
We definitely didn’t read the reviews before booking, otherwise we would have stayed at Semarq hotel. This hotel is one of the strangest I have ever stayed at and I stay at a lot of hotels. First of all, we requested early check in but when we got there they asked us to pay 40,000 Won. We did because we wanted to take advantage of the beach and pool. We found out that even guests have to pay to use the pool, plus you have to pay for the chair and more than one towel. This is just ridiculous as this is supposed to be a 4.5 star hotel. The staff at the front desk also never informed us that we need to pay extra to use any of the two pools. The grounds are nicely kept- with a forest like park full of statues, but the staff isn’t accommodating or properly trained in customer service. The concierge wouldn’t even help us with our luggage out of the taxi or to take it to the hotel. There is always a huge line up at the elevators because there aren’t enough and sometimes you have to wait for 10 minutes or longer. Also the elevators have specified floors too so some only take to to even or off number floors. It’s not that there is only a line up around check in which starts at 4 or check out which is at 11am..at that time you may have to wait 20 minutes for an elevator because there are over a thousand rooms.., at all times you wait in s line up. If you want to request extra towels to your room they will charge you. The hotel does not cater to non-korean tourists and the manager said that over 90 or more percent, it is korean guests they get. We ate at 307 Pocha, the food was pricey and so so - they also don’t give you napkins. However, there is amazing food at Hino’s recipe on the 16th floor just opposite of the infinity pool. We had 3dishes there and all were amazing. We also had plain bread and coffee at the downstairs bakery and paid over 30,000 for that. One positive thing is that it is a beach hotel, though the water was too cold to swim..but I had fun exploring the beach. Also the beds were very very comfortable. In the end we were quite upset and the manager returned the late fee and gave us a free one time pass for the infinity pool which is nice but you cannot swim in it - it is used for Koreans to go in and take their selfies or stand around. If u start swimming, you hear a warming whistle from the lifeguards. We paid expensive for this stay as it was during the summer, but definitely not worth the money. Don’t stay here, but come for a visit or to eat at Hino’s Recipe. The hotel is about 10 minutes taxi ride from the KTX and walking distance to the Chodang Tubu village, which i recommend. I’m sorry to write such a negative review, but this is not s tourist friendly hotel run in strange ways. I was uncomfortable during my stay.
