The four of us stayed here on our visit to singapore. The front desk lady charged or room deposit instead of merely taking a credit card number to charge later in case of damages (this was against policy I discovered later). We stayed in a room with a queen bed and two bunk beds, ensuite bathroom, plus a small balcony. The room was clean and comfortable - all features functioned properly. The location is far from the main areas of the city and on the other side of singapore from the airport. A subway station is about 10-15 minutes walk away. A bus stop is directly in front of the guesthouse. It's a solid 30 minute trip away from little india or little china. Being a hostel we had concerns about noise at night but were not bothered by any. We did not utilize the breakfast option but did eat at the restaurant across the street and found it acceptable. On checkout I found that they could not refund the deposit. After working with the manager over the next several days she refunded the deposit to me via paypal instead of a credit to my original card. That was not desirable at all, but was the best she said she could do. On the whole this was a nice stay, I only advise you to be cautious about your room deposit.

1. The luxurious set, the room is antique, the style of Southeast Asia is strong, the height is high, the bed is very beautiful, and there is a sofa. The bathroom thief is large, there are two faucets, and the two people do not affect each other. 2. There is a cold water in the room with a copper pot. Boiled water can be piled together and drunk directly. Also delivered wine and fruit. 3. Breakfast is a long mountain road on the 2nd floor behind the villa, then in the restaurant on the top, go to the end of the small house and turn right, breakfast half outdoor and semi-open. There are not many things, but you can eat enough, porridge is not bad, bread can be grilled and then eaten. Each person can also order a free meal according to the menu. 4. From the labrador park subway station at night, walk downstairs to the villa, very beautiful and quiet. 5. The younger brother at the front desk can speak Chinese, but a little bit can do it. The service is in place and very welcoming. 6. If you are cheaper next time, go live. Hahaha! ! !

Stayed in Pasir Panjang for the second time. To be honest, I will still choose to stay at the hotel next time I come to Singapore for the following reasons: 1. The price is relatively cheap. 2. Convenient transportation: Many buses pass by, and the station is 10 meters away; the Lion City subway ring line (yellow line) is closer. 3. Spacious, bright, and sanitary: Although the facilities are older, the rooms are spacious and there are windows in the room. The light and ventilation are very good, and they are clean and hygienic. Finally, the key point comes. Manager Cai of Pasir Panjang is very nice. I feel like I'm home when I stay here. This stay was during the period of the new crown pneumonia epidemic. Manager Cai was very concerned about the guests. When I returned to China, I learned that I did not buy a mask. I sent a mask and disinfected wipes to protect me on the way. Really moved, thank you! Thank you Manager Cai!

Thank to you to Firdaus, Mariam and Zuraidah ( not sure whether I got the name right) for making my 1 week work-stay trip very pleasant. They are the nicest front desk people that I’ve met and ensure my request are being met. Thank you Firdaus for arranging me to a better room for my prayer necessity upon check in. Your help is greatly appreciated by me and husband. Thanks a lot once again everybody. Ibis should be blessed to have you people serving the customers with all the helpful thoughts.

The room was small, the suitcases could only be placed at the door after putting down a bed, but the bathroom was not crowded, and there was no problem living alone for a day or two. Long time from NUS, there are 7-11 and restaurants downstairs, eating is more convenient, the room is located on the small road, relatively quiet, Chinese service.

The two disadvantages are that dry and wet do not separate. There is a shower on the toilet. The shower room is super small and the shower water is super strong. It can't reach people at all when it is opened to the largest extent. The direction of the hose and shower hanging on it is not easy to control. In short, the bathing experience is very poor. Others are good and clean.

We enjoyed the stay, just that with safe management measures the beach access to trapizza/ nestopia was cordoned off, making a quick run let’s say to 7-11 and back or to the above mentioned rather tedious - having to go up all the way to lobby and down the slope. the carpark attendant could also double up to check for guests entering and leaving via the original trapizza side entrance area/ Carpark. Other than that, the stay was perfect :))

Almost everything is perfect! Service’s top notch, room is really grand and spacious, and bathroom is the dream. My only gripe was with the swimming pool as it’s the most dated part of the whole hotel probably and not only that there were strong winds that day and some palm branches fell. At one point i also had to help the pool lady “fetch” some of the huge palm branches and leaves (she asked me to help as a favour) so i was literally fetching swimming back and forth twice to pass her the fallen tree parts…

Got a deluxe queen for 83/night. Got complimentary upgraded to family room(biggest room with 2 queen beds). However that room was facing the sentosa and the cemetery at the sides. It was a bit creepy tbh as we were just 2 ppl staying in that room. However, there was a power trip in that room twice (9pm & 12am+) and we were transferred to the Premier Queen room. Staff attended to us promptly, kudos 💯 That premier room didnt give us any problems tho. And the receptionist gave us late check out till 1pm upon request and a chocolate box gift 🌚 Fav hotel still!

Firstly, the service was amazing. From the moment you enter, you’ll be greeted with smiles and friendly staff. I booked the stay with my husband and son (my son’s bday), but my husband had to work and could only come at 10pm. The staff who did my check in, was amazing. He allowed us to check out at 5pm! We enjoyed the hotel very much! Even the staff (Karen) at the swimming pool was friendly! The hotel room itself, wow.. I was not expecting it but it just blew us off. Its amazing, thats all i can say. I’ll definitely come back!

Suitable for a quick and affordable staycation for friends and family. Not far from town. They have a strict policy on the names of guests per room. They checked our names before heading up to the lift. If you’re looking for some alone time without any distractions then this hotel won’t do😅😅. You can hear people outside which was uncomfortable

Stayed at the 2 bedroom deluxe room for my family of 4, which is a rare find for us. Typically we will get 2 interconnecting rooms. But this 2 bedroom arrangement comes with a living hall which is good for family bonding. The only downside is that there is only 1 bathroom, and 1 powder room (we took it quite well ... treat it as if we ate staying at a Japanese ryokan which only has 1 bathroom) ... 😄

I first stayed at the SEA Hotel back in 2014 as it was recommended by my aunt and uncle who always stay here when in Singapore. I love the place. It’s old and rustic (a throwback to another time) but for $100 SGD a night with a fabulous vegetarian buffet breakfast included (Kwan Im restaurant) and prime location in Bugis you couldn’t ask for anything more. Also when booking the staff are excellent in replying to queries and give very detailed information about getting to the hotel and airport transport options and nearby attractions. Free wifi was included and it was fast and reliable. The staff on the front desk were friendly especially the girl who checked me in. Bugis+ shopping mall (10 levels with cinemas, food/retail options galore and taxi rank) is less than 5 mins walk. I use this as a taxi pick up/drop off point to various attractions from the hotel. Bugis MRT Station is 5-10 mins walk and is on the airport line (10th station from the airport, with 1 change at Tanah Merah, cost only SGD 2.50) The Kwan Im Temple is right next door and worth checking out (it gets very busy with local worshippers). Directly outside is a pedestrian mall with a flurry of activity with market stalls and street vendors. The hotel is simple and rooms unadorned with only the basics but it’s all there and excellent value for money. They do request you leave your key if you go out and recollect (24 hour reception) but I conveniently forgot to do this most of the time and it was never a problem. Oh and don’t even think about bringing durians to the hotel!

The hotel is very close to Wenqing subway station, walk 5.6 minutes. The youth hostel is very small. It has a lot of capsule beds in one room, but the capsule room is well designed. It is very spacious to sleep alone. The closed door is your own private space. Bedding, lighting, safe, charging plug, usb, and mirror are all available in the capsule. The access to the card is safe, and the bathroom is clean. Although there are many people, this is still in place. With breakfast, it is simple cereal. And toast bread, coffee milk variety. The front desk attitude is very good, that is, one of the lights in my room is broken and cannot be turned off. The Indian brother first said that the light in each room could not be turned off. He lied. Actually, it was not. Later, he let him think of a solution. In short, the overall is a good hostel, you can choose this next time you go to Singapore, it is recommended ~~~~~~

Really pretty and cosy boutique hotel. Reception and staff were all very friendly and always available at your service. The room was really nice and better than what I was expecting at this price point. Walkable distance to mrt station as well and there is also a 7/11 just a few mins walk away. Would highly recommend the studio premier room which comes with the kitchenette. The only slight problem was that the samsung smart tv couldn’t be connected to our phones so there was only a few limited channels to select from.

I booked this place on a long layover in Singapore, and this place is so cool! Now, the showers and amenities are pretty much like most hostels (nothing special, but more than adequate), but the pod itself was actually quite nice! Inside feels very futuristic, and it comes with your own power outlets and a/c. Bedding and pillow were soft, and the Chinatown location is a plus!

Location is great, with easy access to city hall mrt and a wide range of food options in the mall. Room was big and bed was comfy! I also liked that the TV could be connected to my phone/tablet to allow for streaming. Sadly, my main complain is with the food. The cantonese dimsum breakfast was very ordinary and actually a little subpar. The American breakfast was definitely more acceptable. I ordered chicken rice and satay for room service and was thoroughly disappointed with the chicken rice. The rice was dry and the top layer was almost 'crunchy'. The chicken was tough and didn't smell fresh. I expected better for $28. I would consider staying again, just without any food options attached.

Because I need to apply for a visa, I stayed here for 18 days and stayed at other hotels for two nights. This is a co-living hotel, so there is no private bathroom, but in reality, my experience did not feel inconvenient, and I rarely encountered other customers . The traffic location is very good. It is opposite to Chinatown Food Street. When you go out, there is a traffic light. There is a Maxwell Food Center on the left. The food inside is affordable and delicious. I often go to China Street Food to finish my meal and then go to Hailan Panmian. Fried fish noodles. It is also very close to the Chinatown interchange station of the NE and DT subway lines. It is very convenient to go to Sentosa or Sands or Merlion. Auntie Cong, who is in charge of cleaning, is also super nice and enthusiastic, serious and responsible. Next time I go to Singapore, I would prefer to stay here. The decoration style is also very simple and fashionable, and some romantic, very suitable for young people. Sign-in and sign-out are also very convenient, simple and convenient. If you don’t speak English, it’s okay to live here. In short, five-star praise, highly recommended.

The hotel location is particularly good, just outside the subway station. There is a free breakfast, 7-11 downstairs, and eating is very convenient. The outdoor swimming pool and terrace on the top floor of the hotel are not too comfortable, the night view is superb. You can walk directly to Chinatown and Clarke Quay, next to Songfa Bak Kut Teh and Ya Kun, Hainan Chicken Rice, and everything is very convenient. The only thing is that the room is really small and the boxes cannot be tiled on the floor. The bathroom is also small. The lobby of the hotel lobby is super soft and comfortable! !! !! The day before I left, because I was still early for the departure time, I rested on the sofa for nearly 2 hours and fell asleep, but the sister at the front desk was not stunned. After I woke up, the sister asked me that I was too tired to play yesterday. There are so many foreigners in the hotel and almost no Chinese are seen. This place has very, very good customer service which i must first commend in the first sentence of this review. I was there for 3 days and two nights and there was the same staff throughout my stay, day and night. But he was friendly, helpful and jovian. It actually seemed like he was the one who did absolutely everything in the hotel. Be aware that this hotel IS in the red light district of Singapore. My room was a single bed room, and the only single bed room in the already small hotel. It was unfortunately crawling with ants along the wall, a tile or two had chipped or fell off. The wall hiding behind the toilet door wasn't to die for either, the room didn't feel complete, but it was livable. I did get the opportunity to go into the other rooms, the double bed room and family room. Those were definitely more decent, they felt cleaner and were better maintained. They even had a cosy feel to them. It comes with breakfast in the vicinity's small kitchen. Don't expect a wide spread or a 4 star hotel breakfast, but it was pretty decent for it's standard. Bread, a fruit, protein (eggs, tuna or others), rice or porridge. There are plenty of food around the area, hawkers mostly. But there are three mrt stations within walking distance, and Paya Lebar Square is about 900m (12 - 18min walk) from the hotel. In all, it isn't a place for fussy stayers. But if you're pretty easy going, don't want to pay premium prices for an accommodation and get your own room and toilet, then one can definitely consider this place.

What i like about here is the rain shower and shampoo is provided. Towel and toothbrush is provided too. Complimentary mini-bar for drinks and consumables. Aircon is cold enough to let me wanting to stay indoor than going outdoor. Bed is comfortable with 2 pillow. Location wise is close to any eateries. I think I am the most objective evaluation: 1. Hotel location: too golden! You can walk to Outram Park subway station when you go out, wherever you go! The last train of the subway is around 11:30, and you can play until late (because the gate is the one-day bar street, the lights are bright, and it is safe) 2, the service is good, too late in the morning and check-in time, can also store luggage 3. Okay to say the disadvantages: The room is very small, the same size as Hong Kong, and the single room I booked can only sleep and bath, and it has a slight odor (I feel it is harmless, because I am Come alone to play, come out early and return late, just go back to sleep, and the price is more than 350, there is no need for it, the youth hostel has 150 beds, this is a good single room! 4. Suggestion: Only suitable for one person or same-sex friends to play and live! If you are a couple, it's better to live! Come out alone and really recommend five stars! There is everything nearby, the traffic is too convenient, and it is quick to go to Sentosa. I walk around and feel that the surrounding Bugis MRT station is particularly lively. I eat a lot and recommend it!

Staff at front desk and cleaning were generally friendly and helpful during check in and out. Meals are provided for by kith at ground level. Layout of hotel takes getting used to due to the “flooring”. Check in is on level 2, strangely level 1 brings you nowhere near Taka SC or paragon malls and the connected car park to the lobby is level 4 with a very non-descript and old metal door for access. Somehow car park level P4 connects to hotel level 2. There is no complimentary parking or hotel parking either except with a fixed amount voucher that will provide exit but you need to estimate the cost compared to the current parking rate and purchase separately at front desk (22 Bideford Rd). Room itself is big enough for a deluxe (2+1 9yo child) with the living area and kitchenette. Shower drainage was clogged on the first night leading to ponding of 3 inches of water while showering. However this was rectified within the day of giving feedback to front desk. Some areas like carpet had unidentifiable dried orange stains from previous and the blinds in the toilet had mould stains on them. The toilet bin was horrible really small and hard to press down to use. The bathrobe was quite worn and had a partially torn left pocket. May I recommend that these be looked into by housekeeping and facilities departments considering this is a five and not four star residence. Floor was also slightly dusty and there was some hair on the floor as well after cleaning. Beds and sofa and chairs appeared clean enough at first sight and use but was expecting much higher degree of cleanliness for this room and the price I paid. Believe me it wasn’t half bad definitely it’s still higher end and definitely liveable over the 3D2N but cleanliness standard was somewhat lower than what I’d expect from an Ascott. Food is readily available at the malls nearby however last order for rm dining service at kith is currently 930pm. Extra service charge is charged for delivery inside the unit compared to call and self collected method which is unusual but I guess it’s to prevent overloading the two front staff manned kith.

Location wise is very convenient. Bus stops everywhere, clarke quay and funan mall nearby and most importantly, for all the supper freaks, there are 7-11 nearby and also restaurants. Cleanliness was super bad. The remote controls, table, counter, sink, cups and spoons were so dusty. I can swipe in one finger and accumulate all the dust. The carpet had a huge stain near the fridge and a funky smell. The fridge was musty and dirty but bed is super clean. I guess it has been long since someone used that room but I expected it to be clean as it is a standard procedure for Housekeepers to clean up the rook before guests checks in. For service, it was neutral. Did what I requested and gave me an expected service but did not exceed my expectations. I requested to check out 2 hours later and they did manage to extend the check out. However, on the last day of our stay, we got locked out of the door because the staff forgot to change the system on the door. So our time was delayed. Lastly, after checking out, there was no closure of service from any of the staff so we just left. For amenities, there were no towels in the toilet and the TV couldn’t airplay/ mirror screen to my phone even though the feature was available on the TV. TV channels was super slow.
