Good location, nearby Carrefour, franprix and other supermarkets! I live on the 2nd floor facing the street, and it is very quiet at night, but the sound insulation between the room and the room is really average. The room is not large and has a balcony (not every room, so it is best to leave a message to tell the room with a balcony when booking) ), There is also a door in the bathroom sharing a balcony with the room, so the balcony is quite large. The hotel only provides shampoo, shower gel and hair dryer. Slippers, toothbrushes and toothpaste are not provided, so it is recommended to bring your own toiletries. Lines 7 and 10 are only 5 minutes' walk from the surrounding area. Line 4 is about 15 minutes away. The 5th district is a Latin area, surrounded by universities, so it is safe! The hotel has access control locks, staff need to help open the door to enter! Breakfast is an ordinary western-style breakfast, bread, milk, eggs, oatmeal, sausage and cheese. A tax of 1.88 euros per person per night, which must be paid to the front desk when checking out. This Ctrip will also call you when you are in China to inform you that this tax must be paid to the hotel separately! The hotel provides free wlan, but the Internet speed is average, the room has air conditioning and heating. In short, the price is high!

Friendly staff in reception, helpfully assisting us with places to go and their opening times. Breakfast is good with a choice of cereals, croissants, jam, fruit, yogurts, etc. Coffee machine available.Although we had no problem, the basement breakfast room is fairly small and may get full in the busier holiday months. Netspresso pod coffees/ herbal teas and Lindt chocolates (!) available in the lobby. You don't need to bring Apple i-Phone adaptor plugs as cord sockets are available in each room One negative point for decaff.coffee drinkers: none is available neither at breakfast nor in the lobby so bring your own and use the in-room kettle!

Unfortunately we are so disappointed with our stay at Hotel du Jeu de Paume. We have 3 children and although the apartment is an historical beautiful 3 bedroom, we could not use to its full potential. The main room is right across from a very busy restaurant and very noisy until at least 1am. Also every 10 mins or so a motor cycle would zoom pass resulting in us not using the room and having 5 of us squash into 2 rooms. I booked the room may months in advance and still we had no English channels on the television and the WIFI was rubbish! We asked for them to fix it but to no avail. Last but not least, we were told breakfast was included at the beginning of our stay- very limited and disappointing buffet - and was charged 298 Euro for 4 of us (my husband did not eat) for 4 mornings! It was not only us who thought breakfast was included 3 other groups were also very surprised when they were asked to pay! Not only that, but the receptionist started to yell at me when I told her we were told breakfast was included. I would have much preferred to eat at the many surrounding and nice cafes for breakfast which were much better value. I emailed the manager expecting at least half a refund for breakfast, someone wrote back and said the manager will get back to me with in a week, and of course I have heard nothing. All in all a very disappointing stay in beautiful Paris

We came across this small hotel by accident, following an intensive search on the internet, even though we’re frequent visitors to the City of Light. It was a very positive accident! This has to be our favourite hotel in Paris! It is comfortable, welcoming and has been sensitively designed to reflect its location and the wider history of Paris (evidenced by the excellent historical portrait engravings hanging on many of the walls). The location means it is quiet and away from the maddening crowds. A haven of peace and comfort! Another advantage of the location is the very close proximity to some excellent bistros, etc. Our room, whilst not large, was more than adequate for our stay. The en-suite was also more than adequate. Together they made for a very comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable stay. Breakfast is taken in the restored and renovated basement. It is classic French - and very fresh too, especially the bread. Choice could be improved, but then the French do not usually indulge in anything comparable to a ‘full Scottish breakfast’! This hotel represents a rarity in that there was nothing we could fault, or suggest improvements to. Once the pandemic travel restrictions are completely lifted we will be booking for a longer stay; hopefully Spring 2021!

Breakfast is very simple, 11 euros per person, with ham, bread, orange juice, yogurt, and fruit. The place to eat is very interesting, because it is very small ~ the building is very old and the style is also very European ~ describe it as if it was a maid's kitchen in the old European movie village castle ~The two of us didn’t have an extra bed, it’s not the kind of double bed. The double bed in the old building was made up of two single beds, and we fell into it as soon as we lay down. The location of the hotel is very quiet, and several cars can be parked at the entrance. In a few corners, there is an apartment next to it and a bookstore. There is a good French food behind us. We live in a suite and there is a small kitchen. There is a very affordable supermarket next to it. You can buy something to eat back Breakfast is also very good~ The switch in the ps room is also very retro and interesting~ The hotel should be a three-star just upgraded to four-star? Because the brochures and cards are still Samsungs~ It was oolong when I left, the butler at the front desk thought we borrowed the hair dryer and kept asking my husband to return... Later, I called to ask that the transfer was not in our room. He said that all Chinese people look good. He almost remembered it wrong...It turns out that Europeans are also blind to us hahaha

We booked a room here for a birthday stay in Paris. The hotel was easy to find and close to a Metro station. Reception was small and welcoming as was the receptionist, who had very good English. The room was small and functional, but comfortable. On the down side the air conditioning didn't work and with inward opening windows, we couldn't leave the windows open without opening the curtains fully. Also there was a lack of any hooks on which to hang coats and clothes to dry. The wardrobe was small with only 6 hangers. The room was well serviced and cleaned every day to a good standard. The spa was very small, but pleasant, and the steam room was of a good size, but didn't get that hot and steamy. Breakfast was nice, but it seemed that there was only one session of cooking (sausage; mushroom; and scrambled eggs), so if you had a lay in and got there after 10.00 am the egg was not that great. But plenty of cereal, fruit; yogurts; croissants etc. Overall, probably a little expensive for the size of the room and facilities, but I have no recent comparison in Paris.

This hotel’s convenient location is unbeatable! It was our first time in Paris and it was easy for us to get to all the must-see attractions. The Quartier Latin is a charming and safe area. The hotel seems to be newly refurbished. We loved how cosy and stylish our room was! I guess every room has a different layout and this uniqueness made our stay special. Breakfast area is equally modern and breakfast is awesome. We will be back!

Reasonably priced hotel with beautiful rooms and a very un-French staff that is most helpful and kind. Very disappointed that we were not made aware of the scaffolding AND white heavy plastic draping infront of the balcony which 1) made the room a prison because of no view and 2) had men on it standing just outside our room from 9-5! No accommodations were made. Quite disappointed. The bathroom had recently been updated. In the process they neglected to replace/install a shower curtain or a partial heavy glass partition on one end of the tub. Consequently one had to sit in the tub and hold the shower head with one head = awkward. If standing ( my companion did) then water sprayed everywhere ( underscore) and the bathroom floor transformed into a puddle which was not easy to mop up with the 2 stingy towels. Walls are paper-thin ( pray you are not next to honeymooners or small active children) Lovely artwork throughout the hotel. Staff speaks English and is very helpful. Hotel has subcontractor shuttle to airport. Very prompt/ kind and worthwhile. If you are large or travel with lots of luggage or children, probably not an option since the elevator is only large enough for 2 people and one suitcase = size of airplane bathroom! Hotel is perfectly situated. Only 1 block from Pantheon, 2 blocks from Musee Cluny, 3 blocks from Notre Dame. Hotel has old world charm which includes old old old style keys to doors which are dropped off at the front desk upon leaving. There are safes in the room. If that creeps you out - may want to look at another hotel option, We had no issues and found housekeeping staff to be helpful. Safe to walk on the carpet in bare feet. Lots of choices for GREAT restaurants within walking distance that are not tourist traps. Do try the Italian restaurant 2 doors down ( same side of street). Small with great food ( even to go - if you would like to dine in your tiny room). Would return. However, would confirm that no construction is going on during that time. Room #5 is not too small, has view from over front entrance - if they have installed shower curtain/ heavy glass partition.

Really nice staff, hotel is cosy and trendy with a lot of nice picture with oneliners about champagne. The hotel is Central located and Rooms are small but that is normal in Paris. We would to recommend the deluxe room with gold and black. We would revisit this hotel in the future and hopefully we will be able to book a suite. The whole area around the hotel has a lot of restaurants. And again we will return in future. We are non smokers but there was a nice outside smoking area. We have been in the bar a few times but it is not busy. The bar is open 24/7, somebody of the reception will help you with a drink. You could drink champagne by the glass you can choose between 5 or 6 champagnes. Happy hour between 5 and 9 in the evening. We have booked the room via the les bulles website and received 1 hour free in the spa, the spa is small but nice.

The hotel location is quite safe and the facilities are relatively new. The fixed room was initially thought to be a bit bigger, but the front desk was given a two-story building. Toiletries and hair dryers are available, remember to bring your own toothbrush and slippers. The bed was made up of two single beds. It was enough for two people to sleep, and the middle seam was not very separated.

Everything here was amazing for me and my family. First: The location, near to Notre Dame and the Sena River. The neighborhood is the Quartier Latin where is possible to find good prices in everything; Food, souvenirs, restaurants, etc. Is possible to take the RER and Metro near to the hotel. It is also easy to arrive from airport to the hotel using the RER 5Stars in Location Second: All people at the hotel are friendly, they can help you because they talk english, spanish, russian, etc. And they explain you everything about the city if you have doubts 5stars for the Staff Third: I like the idea they allow you to use the kitchen for free (just remember to wash what you use) and also Laundry too!! :) that was very cool!!. The breakfast is included also and I appreciate it 5stars again Just check wich kind of room you will choose because they have many options for all different kind of visitors :)

Our experience at this hotel was very nice. The rooms are bigger than other hotels that we stayed in Paris, and they are very clean. The breakfast is a normal french one,the place it’s underneath the hotel, very nice decorated, they have some pastries, cheese, ham, sausages, eggs( scrambled, boiled and fried), some milk, yogurt, jam, Nutella, and for drinks you have multiple choices like: water, coffee, hot chocolate, teas, juices. The last thing, but not the least, at the reception we met a very nice receptionist (an older man) who spoke very well English and was really, really nice to us, we are sorry that we didn’t ask for his name. We recommend this hotel beachside it’s a really good equilibrium between it’s price and conditions. Ps: I just saw some pictures here on Tripadvisor and they look old, the hotel doesn’t look like that anymore, I think they renovated it.

Stayed 9 nights. Got a room in the 5' floor with balcony. Small but very nice. Superb location, some 20 m. from the Rue Rivoli on a quiet small street. No noise at all. Meters from St. Jaques Tour and the Hotel de Ville (Municipality). Exit from the Hotel de Ville Metro station, exit Rue Coutellierie, has mechanic stairs till the street which is not so common. For elderly people, or with baby trolleys, etc. is perfect. Walking distance from Forum des Halles, Louvre, Pompidou Center, Notre Dame, Latin Quarter, etc. Everyone speaks english. Stephan speaks Spanish as well. Very nice and helpful good looking and cooperative guy. Completely refrubrished. Insulated walls prevent from any noise from other rooms or street which is anyway very quiet. Beautiful, small bathroom. Small but has everything. New furniture. Wooden floor. New and very good quality of towels. Very good heating. Kettle and coffe machine in the room. Now cons: not everything is bright: The room is perfect but very very small. Has very little shelves and room for clothes. Beautiful but extremely small. Need to improve exterior entrance which is brown, dark, and old, leaving a not nice impression. Nice and clean lobby but outside look, needs improvement. Same with the corridors rugs. I will definitely come back and recommend to my friends, those who don't mind to stay in a very small room - but very nice and pleasant.

In Christmas 2019 in France, I ordered a Superior King Room (with sofa bed). The size of the room is already relatively large in Paris. The two 24-inch boxes can be spread out and can be used at the same time. Hotel location: In the 1st district, about 10 minutes from the Louvre if not. The entrance of the hotel is Line 1 and Line 14 subway stations, which is very convenient (although we happened to strike in France when we went there, the subway stopped ... But it is very convenient to live here if you come here to play). There are a variety of restaurants near the hotel downstairs, from McDonald's to Italian French and Japanese. There is also a 10-minute walk from St. Eustache Church. The church will have an organ show around 5pm on Sunday, which is worth a look. Room facilities: There is a kettle (I originally brought a portable kettle, but the boiled water has white foam. In the end, I can only use the hotel. Fortunately, the hotel's kettle is quite clean. The shampoo and bath are two in one. Washing hands and washing face in one. The smell is very comfortable. It doesn't dry out after washing. Breakfast: Special! do not! it is good! We stayed in Paris for 5 nights. One of the most anticipated daily is the hotel breakfast. There are various types of bread such as ham, bacon, cheese, and baguettes. The best thing is their croissant and small square chocolate filling. The bag has a particularly crispy outer skin, and the inside is very soft. The fruits are also cut. The oranges, kiwis, pineapples, grapefruits, bananas, and watermelons are also available. You can also squeeze the juice directly (but the grapefruit is a bit bitter and is not recommended ), The coffee machine is also self-service, there are latte, fast coffee, cappuccino, etc., hot dishes are omelet, tomato sauce, bean sauce, boiled potatoes, etc. Others are oatmeal, raspberry juice, grapefruit juice and orange juice ( Of course it's ice). If you want to eat fried eggs, you can tell the waiter that the kitchen is fried and delivered to the location. Overall the hotel experience is very good.

Booked based on location before reading reviews so was a little nervous about what to expect. Have to say I saw no evidence of the poor maintenance shown in some photos, the public areas of the hotel and our room were in perfect order and very clean. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and the front desk is manned 24x7. We arrived far too early for check-in hoping we could just leave our bags but the room was ready so they let us have it right away. They kept hold of our bags for us until an evening flight on check-out day too. The room was quite small but that's normal for the old buildings in the area. Shower was over the bath but decent pressure. Location is ideal, at the quieter end of one of the less busy streets in the Marais, so only two minutes walk from all the cafes, bars and restaurants but not too noisy. I will happily book again next time I'm working in Paris.

I've stayed at this hotel on several occasions in the past, and after a 10 year gap I returned to Paris for a few days and booked again. I was not disappointed! The location is just excellent...Pompidou is a block away, BHV literally opposite. Le Marais, Notre Dame etc. are a short stroll, and everywhere else a quick metro ride away. I was in town for work but even being tired at the end of the day, getting out to eat and sightsee in the evenings was effortless. The hotel has a contemporary boutique feel - stylish but subtle and nicely updated since my previous visits. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful, and my room was modern and comfortable. I opted for the express breakfast each morning, which offers juice, coffee and a selection of wonderful fresh breads and pastries. A perfect start to my day and again served by a welcoming and friendly member of staff. I can't recommend this place enough, and I will be returning on my next Paris visit!

We stayed here for 4 nights at the end of February. The first two nights were on the 3rd floor facing the street. It was significantly loud with traffic and street noise. On the third night we switched to a 4th floor room that faces the courtyard and alley. MUCH quieter. Both rooms were executive sized (larger than standard.) It was nice to have the extra room, however, there were at least two too-many pieces of furniture in each room that ate up a lot of the space! We could have done without the extra side chair and occasional table. (Or keep those two and get rid of the love seat!) It didn't help that my wife and I each had two large pieces of luggage each. The furniture is a little dated but not unsettling. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom modern and clean. (although the shower had a very slow drain and the pan backed up with a pool of water, yuck.) One more thing about the first bathroom: The faucets were a design of smooth chrome; so smooth that it was impossible to turn them off with wet hands! Design fail! The executive room we moved to on the 4th floor was a bit bigger, and better laid out. This one had a tub shower and workable faucets! FTW! The roof deck is NOT TO BE MISSED! One of the best views in Paris! All front desk and cleaning staff were gracious and very helpful. I would possibly stay here again if only for the location and roof top view!
