We had business at Chiang Rai Rajabaht University and this Hotel is very close to the campus. It is bright and airy, with good sized rooms, comfortable beds and lots of hot water. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was included with fruit, juices, fried eggs with rice and several stir-fried dishes. and toast. Food was OK, but nothing was ever hot. Luke warm food on cool plates. Also, a pitcher of warm milk would be nice for coffee, instead of the little packages of creamy powder. We stayed 5 nights and it was always the same. Interesting neighborhood, busy with students. We walked around and found some nice coffee shops, noodle places and a couple of fun restaurants.

The hotel staff can speak Chinese so everyone does not have to worry about communication problems, and they are very enthusiastic and can ask him any questions. The hotel includes breakfast, and the taste is pretty good. It basically meets the taste of the Chinese people. The omelette is fried temporarily. If necessary, just let the staff make it. The hotel as a whole is quite big, although the rooms are only two or three floors, the parking lot in front and the courtyard in the back are quite big. The swimming pool is also very clean, and the trees are specially repaired. It is very pleasant to lie down by the swimming pool and soak up the sun. Small shortcomings: It seems that there is another hotel called Bandu, so pay attention to make sure before taking a taxi.

We visit Chiang Rai from time to time and this time we looked for a place where we could bring our dog. With 2 dogs of their own B & B Chiang Rai welcomes guests with dogs. Having experienced the wonderful service of the Thai university student who manages the place, combined with the beautiful rooms and gardens, we plan on making this our default accommodation for Chiang Rai. I rarely give 5* - this is the exception that is really worth it. On a practical note: when you come by car, make sure that you have a GPS that knows the B & B.

This time I came to see the house in Chiang Mai. I came to Chiang Rai specifically. Chiang Rai should be the small city with the best scenery and most attractions in northern Thailand. Worth coming!  The hotel I stayed in this time is a resort hotel located in downtown Chiang Rai. It is not far from various attractions. By the way, the breakfast is very rich.  The important thing is that the hotel environment is very good, as if it is in a large garden, everywhere is view, everywhere is, the pool is very beautiful, there are more long-term residents in Europe and America! I want to stay another day!

Huan Kawin Hostel is located in a residential area just off the main highway. Surprisingly quiet considering that the traffic zips by just a block away. It's an older, wooden house with two floors. One room downstairs and three rooms downstairs. There is a common toilet/shower on both floors and a bistro/sitting area downstairs. The rooms are rather big and have refrigerators. The bistro menu works for breakfast as well and states that fried pork is the most popular item. Parking might be an issue as there is only room for one car inside the gates. For dinner most guests seem to venture away to Chiang Rai's night bazaar which is a ten minute walk from the hostel. The bazaar has a good selection of food stands and sometimes stage entertainment (a drag show performance the night I was there). The only drawback with Huan Kawin I can think of is that the walls are very thin and sounds travel easy.

The hotel should be translated as a heritage hotel, which is considered to be a very old hotel by the heritage hotel. In fact, the hotel is a newly opened hotel with very modern decoration. In particular, there are five Chinese channels including Central Four, Sunshine, Phoenix, Starry Sky, and CHANNEI V, which are very rare in Thailand. The Chiang Rai Night Market is 3 km away, but the largest supermarket in Chiang Rai is only 800 metres away. Recommended! The disadvantage is that the design of a large bed of 2 meters only puts a bed of 1.5 meters, the bed is a bit inconvenient to the bedside table.

We stayed here for new year for 14 nights, the rooms were cleaned on a daily basis, the staff were friendly and helpful The shower is over the toilet so everywhere gets flooded in bathroom, plugs and adaptors do not stay in walls so its right task trying to charge your phones etc. We paid for a superior room due to the length of time we were staying which should have included cable TV but ended up with a TV with just foreign channels and there was no safe deposit box. The swimming pool area is nice but could do with some sunbeds as you have to lie on the tiles to sunbathe. It is a good 30-40 minutes walk into the centre of Chiang Rai This hotel is ok just for a stop over but not for a long stay like we did

Sooo many plus points about this resort + Food is tastey + We got a free upgrade! The room was huge with a Queen size bed. + Very clean and spacious. They cleaned it everyday + Pool clean and in great condition. Small but big enough and very cute! Lovely style of tiling + All staff Inc reception very friendly + Rented motorbike through them which was very easy and quick. They delivered and picked up from resort. + Very quiet area, could sleep like a baby (you do need a moped to get around, takes around 5mins into town) Areas of improvement: - WiFi is pretty weak but hey it was holiday and I spent more time reading my book or bathing - English ability of the staff was very poor. It made booking enquiries and directions very hard. Recommend they invest in their staff taking basic lessons as most people here were foreigners during our stay. If it wasn't for the English this would have gotten a 10/10. We will definitely come back again. Thanks for making our trip wonderful -

After reading the reviews on Ctrip, I know the rooms are average, but chose this hotel for breakfast and good reviews. After arriving, I found that the room was actually slightly better than expected, and most importantly, the hot water was particularly good! Breakfast is really good, several coffee machines with fruits, chicken, fried eggs and fried noodles, and even porridge! Location is also good, 15 minutes walk from the night market. I set the wrong date, the flight ticket from 24th to Chiang Rai, but the hotel booked the 23rd, the hotel agreed to stay without a word, thanks a lot!

There is no Chinese service in the hotel lobby, but the check-in is very fast and only requires a simple English ability. The lobby can help the taxi to go out and pay in advance so that it is not afraid of being pitted. However, the taxi that is called will be 40% more expensive than the taxi (20 to the front desk as a tip 20 to the driver). The hotel is close to the Blue Temple and it is about 400 meters away. There is not much food nearby, and the food in the hotel is good. There are very few people in the hotel, and they are basically white. The pool is also great. That is, the room door lock is an old-fashioned key lock, and there is no air conditioner when you have to take off the key (because it is quite cool, it will not be too hot after the day to go, there is no direct sunlight). The room is not too small or too big. Breakfast is almost the same style, but the taste is ok, the fruit is great!

The taxi from the airport to the hotel cost 200 baht (for your reference), the hotel looks very beautiful, there is a well-kept small courtyard, the windows of the room are high, maybe to protect the privacy of the tourists! The bedding is very comfortable , The front desk brother is good at English, breakfast is bread, boiled eggs, salad, and coffee. If you want a richer breakfast, you can order another one. It is about 800 meters away from the bus station and about 10 minutes on foot. The night market is right there at the bus station. Overall it's good and the price/performance ratio is high.

The waiter's attitude is very good, helping to drag the baggage together. The appearance is also very beautiful, there is a pool but very shallow. But when the room went in, it smelled like a damp. The bathroom was large, but it was relatively simple. This price is the most expensive one in my eight-day trip to Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, and the price is the lowest. More than 400 in Chiang Mai are better than this. It’s better to ventilate the bed and the door. My friend’s bed is still sleeping until the tide. This price, decoration should be a little more thought. Breakfast is OK, there are not many choices but enough to eat.

The hotel environment is not clean, there are many mosquitoes on the road, and the creek in front of the room has become a dead water ditch. The room equipment is old, like the feeling of living in a ruined temple, some moldy taste, there are many pick-ups during the Spring Festival, and there are few free-flowing FITs. Early self-help is very common, the Chinese buffet is 300 baht, and it is also average. Personal opinions are not recommended.

Not only does it have this holy trinity of a travellers' requirements for a place to stay, but I would also add: classy, and cultured. I stayed there whilst over visiting a friend who lives in Thailand now. Only stayed a few nights, as I was essentially staying with my friend, but was chased out of his house by his conniving cats, and their vicious dander, a couple of times! It is well located, in a lovely quiet area, that is also near the centre of Chang Rai. It's within easy walking distance of the night market, and has plenty of eating places, and snack shops, (and of course a 7-11), nearby. The place is owned by a local charitable organisation, that puts the money back into the work it does for the local Hill tribe people. The guest house itself is attractive, with a friendly, (and blissfully air-conditioned), reception area, adjacent to a lovely little dining area, where you can have your breakfast, (that's included in the price). The hallways are spacious enough for patio tables and chairs, and are nicely decorated, with some local artwork adorning the walls. Gives an impression of roominess, and comfort, and I could see why some of the guests were happy to spend time out there. I was on the second floor, that was easily reached by a shallow staircase. The room itself was hotel quality. Tastefully decorated in a contemporary fashion: Tiled floors, dark wood furniture. The bathroom was a large, nicely decorated wet room, with attractive tiles. The facilities were great as well. I could try and poke holes by saying that the towel rail in the first room I was in needed fixing, and there weren't many channels on the tv, but that would being persnickety! There was great wi-fi, with an ethernet socket supplied as well. The air conditioning was extremely efficient. The room had mini fridge and a kettle, with bottled water, and tea and coffee supplied, and the bathroom had all the basics you needed, (shampoo, shower gel etc). Have to say that overall, the guesthouse was a wonderful haven! The staff were lovely and friendly, the place was comfortable and attractive, and it was very well priced; especially considering that even though it felt as warm and friendly as a guesthouse, it provided hotel quality accommodation! Definitely would recommend if you are looking for somewhere to stay in Chang Rai.

Firstly, I paid approximately 500 baht (£10) for this room. I turned up slightly earlier than the check-in time and the Thai lady on reception, who spoke very good English, allowed me to check in early. It’s a large room with plenty of luggage storage. After a bit of tinkering with the settings I eventually got the old banger of an air con unit to blow cold air and once it blew cold, it kept me comfortably cool during the night and wasn’t loud. Nice, modern and clean bathroom with all that you’d expect. Room had a flat screen TV, a desk and a fridge. Bed was comfy and plenty of fresh towels provided. The WiFi in my room was excellent. I hired a motorbike for three days with the assistance of the staff on reception. 250 baht per day with a 2,000 baht deposit (no passport) was a little expensive but enabled me to get around the place.

The room is clean and the quilt is different from the domestic one. There is only a white cloth and a cool quilt. The quilt cover is inevitable when the guests are in contact with the core. So I personally think the mattress is not very good. Separate bathroom has electric heating water heater. There is no need to open the air conditioner during the night during the New Year. The front desk can rent a motorcycle with automatic transmission 250B. 24 hours a day. The hotel is suitable for the surroundings. Not convenient for travel. There are gas stations. 13km Blue Temple 4km Night Market Clock Tower Jade Buddha Temple is enough. I also went to Thai massage 250B / hour bus to Chiang Mai. It is best to buy it in advance. We bought it in the morning only at 16:30. I wanted to check out and did n’t go to Chiang Mai. The only way is to wait for a lot of massage near the station. The price I set is ¥ 79. I am also a hotel. I am very comfortable with this truth, and there is a very good swimming pool. If leisure vacation is definitely the first choice, this place is a little far from the bus station. If you want to take a taxi for 100 baht, there is a station nearby. A night market starts every night from 5:30 to 6:00, and the night market square is very lively. There are people who can show you something to eat, and listening to the songs is very comfortable. The younger sister at the front desk is also very warm, breakfast is OK. I don't have breakfast for this person, so this is not evaluated. The white temple in Chiang Rai must be very beautiful, and the ticket price is very cheap. There are also bread, juice and coffee, full self-service. On the last day, we rushed to the plane at 7 o'clock in the morning and opened the kitchen for us.
