What a wonderful discovery Accademia 39 was! We were in Sorrento for 4 nights and it was the perfect place to stay. This charming guest house/b&b is more like a home than a hotel. Small (only 6 rooms), making it an intimate and comfortable place. Managed with enormous warmth and energy by the lovely Vittoria and by John in the evenings, they went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Breakfast, served on a large attractive terrace, is buffet-style with lots of choices, including home baked pastries. Accademia 39 is in a great location on a quiet street but in the center of Sorrento, on the second floor of a mid-18th century building, updated to modern times with tasteful furnishings and personal touches in both the common areas and bedrooms. We stayed in Room #2, with its 2 balconies and lovely views. I can’t tell you how glad we were that we stayed here! It was the perfect place to stay!

The Sorrento Flower Rooms are a real gem in Sorrento. The rooms are new, clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. The owner met us as planned to pick up the keys. Even though we had several hiccups with our arrival time, he was very accommodating. Traveling from Naples is a bit of an ordeal for first timers like us. We were traveling as a family of 5 so 2 rooms suited our needs perfectly. The rooms are situated in the hub of Sorrento. Shopping, restaurants, and the beach were just a stones throw (walking) from this little hotel. If you are traveling to Sorrento, I would highly recommend this place.

Myself and my husband booked this hotel for a special birthday getaway. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, tucked just off the main square. Close to beach, shops and restaurants, just minutes walk. Upon our arrival we were offered an upgrade and our room which was just beautiful, with everything you need and decorated beautifully. Our host Alfonso could not have been more helpful meeting us when we and arrived and assisting with our luggage. He also gave us some good tips on areas to visit, local restaurants and bars. We only arrived yesterday when the news broke regarding the all but essential travel to whole of Italy (previously only restricted travel to northern region) We are now unfortunately having to return home due to the lock down on the country. Sorrento is gorgeous and it’s such a shame we haven’t had chance to see more. But we will defiantly return to this hotel to finish our trip at some point in the future.

I stayed here for 3 nights in Sept 2019, and could not have been happier. First of all, all the things being said about Raffaella are true. :) She goes out of her way to make sure you are good on where you are, what you want to do, and where you want to eat. The hotel is very nicely located, super easy to reach on foot from the port/Marina Piccola and a short walk from the train station with service to Pompei and Naples. Also centrally located to explore Sorrento on foot. The room and bathroom were super clean (noticeably the bathroom). And the triple room I stayed in had a nice little kitchen with a small fridge and two burners where one could cook, if in the mood. I made use of the stovetop espresso maker (the Moka), which Raffaella had replaced asap when it was discovered to be missing from the room. The kitchen made me feel as though I were staying at a friend’s home in Italy. The only small caveats to note: 1) limited check in time from 2:00pm to 6:30pm, although later check-in may be possible for a fee and earlier if room is available. Again, this place is run by super Raffaella, so she isn’t there 24/7 even though she is reachable for emergencies. 2) no breakfast, but with the kitchen and coffee maker in my room this was no problem for me (used to Italian style breakfast). Or if you’re going out for an Italian style breakfast of coffee and a croissant, I recommend Pasticceria Mimì for excellent quality and prices.

The hotel is not a five-star equipment service attitude. Generally, many local hotels are much better than their services. This home has no transportation service. Other homes are sold too expensive. It is really not worth living.

Before I say a word about the excellent Magi House, a word about Sorrento. There are in fact a number of Sorrento’s. I’m not just talking about the Piano di Sorrento either, (quite some way from the historic centre), but the Sorrento that towers above the old town and has quite a few of the town’s hotels. I have never stayed “up there” so do not know about the practicalities - so I won’t comment. All I will say is this - we like to be in the centre of things and near to the train service for the archeological sites of Pompeii and Herculaneum. So when we searched for accommodation, we restricted that search to town centre locations and you don’t get much more central than Magi House. It may be central but that does not mean it’s noisy - it isn’t. Our room (Zeus) was deathly quiet, glacier cool, had all mod-cons and could not be faulted. Sorry, there was one small thing - but not a deal breaker. The window in the room, (not a great view), was overlooked by two windows from a building across the alley. Curtains had to remain closed - doubly so if you were prone to flinging off your clothes, after a hot day “touristing”. As I said - not really any bother for us but a problem for “naturists” perhaps? Another possible problem for some visitors could be the lack of an elevator. Not that we had any problems, (being two reasonably fit 67 year old’s), as on both check-in and check-out, Magi House staff were on our luggage quick as a flash and kindly took it up (and down) the stairs (one floor up) for us. Also, our taxi could not drive up via Padre Reginaldo Giuliani but we were dropped off only steps from the front door, on via San Francesco. Covid-19 did deny us breakfast. The area where breakfast is normally taken could not be adequately “socially distanced”, so the management took the sensible precaution of abandoning breakfast and providing a refund. This came in quite handy, in providing the mandatory “tourist tax” that is common all over Italy. It also gave us the opportunity to get out into the sunshine and take breakfast in one of the many bars and cafes in the town. While on the subject of Covid, the hotel did take all necessary precautions to allay the fears, some may have with regards to this virus. I would say that in general, Magi House is geared towards the more independent minded tourist. It doesn't have some of the usual hotel amenities, (that we never use), but there was almost always someone on the desk to answer your queries, dispense advice, or organise things should they be needed. We were very pleased with our stay at Magi House and can recommend it wholeheartedly.

This is a traditional hotel with beautiful entrance and court yard, this is a hotel best suited to couples. Our room was on the first floor and the balcony with table and chairs over looked the street, at night you can hear music and restaurants but not at an uncomfortable level. In the mornings you can hear the bells ringing nearby. The service was excellent and they did everything to help or make arrangements for us. There is an abundance of storage in the room and the air conditioning is great, the room also has a mini fridge which came in handy. The hotel is just round the corner from the main square and the main shopping streets as well as a steep walk down to the harbour. Breakfast has most options, they don't provide a cooked breakfast but do have boiled eggs. Only negatives are that the walls are paper thin, the kettle needed replacing due to never stopped boiling and pouring everywhere and the coffee at breakfast wasn't the best. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the service was great.

Where do I start? Firstly, the hotel is what it says 3 stars probably 2.5 in my opinion. Room was ok if not on the small size. We were st the back of the hotel overlooking the pool, so not on the busy main road front. There are constant ambulances going by as it is on the hospital main route. Rooms are kept very clean and towels were changed every day( big tick) Bathroom was very dated with a very tight for room old shower. There was bare wiring above the mirror for the light ( didn't risk turning it on) Pool area is pleasant in a citrus garden with plenty of sunbeds. Pool water is unheated so very cold. There is a pool bar which was closed most days when we visited. ( lack of guests I guess) Breakfast.....( here we go) It was chaotic most days. I was waiting for Cyble and Basil to walk out. There was no buffet as mentioned in some posts and I am guessing this is due to covid.instead you had a printed sheet listing all the buffet items and you ordered accordingly for the staff to bring it from the kitchen. In the 2 weeks we were there not once did I get what I ordered despite pointing to items on the menu. When ordering toast I got everything from perfect toast on one occasion to stale brown bread on several occasions.it was that stale I dropped it on my plate and it bounced onto the floor. My wife asked for an omelette on one occasion and got no word of a lie a 1 egg omelette !!!!!! Anything more than 3 tables occupied and the waiter was in a flap and panicking. Our 2nd day there we waited 40 minutes before the waiter even approached us. Well it was busy...there must have been 6 tables in !!!! Guests were actually laughing it was that bad. The best service we had in the 2 weeks was when the waiter was off and we were served by our chambermaid assisted by the pool lifeguard.!!! Hotel is in perfect location for the main town shops, train station etc. 10 mins walk to central square. If you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel central position and using it as a base then this hotel is perfect. If your looking for a 4 star hotel with a reasonable food offering, avoid it like the plague. For the front reception manager who was on every evening.....a smile wouldn't go a miss. Would I go back? Not based on my experience. Dont know how much Covid had to do with it and lack of guest numbers.

My husband and I came to Sorrento for our honeymoon for one day and because of how great this place was we wish we’d stayed longer! Manuia, the hostess, along with her husband and brother we amazing and went over the top to make things special for us! They met us on the corner of the street when we were arriving, sent us a map and instructions on how to get to the B&B from the train station and allowed us to check in early and stow our bags after check out. Not only that, they got us champagne and crackers to celebrate before dinner, gave us great recommendations, helped us take a picture of our fancy outfits when we got back when we were in the common room struggling and made us cappuccinos in the morning when we didn’t understand the machine. We even got a lovely little good luck gift upon leaving. These guys were so kind! The room was lovely with a balcony, huge bathroom and personal lemon tree! Highly recommend!

We have just returned home from spending a week at The Night in Sorrento. We were greeted by the lovely Davide who was very friendly and went through all the information we needed to know for the week. It's located at the end of Corso Italia-the opposite end to the station but it only takes 10 mins to get there walking. It's close to everything you will need. We had 2 twin rooms and both were immaculately clean! The rooms are of a good size. The bathrooms are pretty large and look brand new. There is a disco light shower which is fab and the shower is really good and poweful-I didn't want to get out! Tea and coffee is provided and you also have a fridge is you want to buy milk etc. There's a flat screen tv. And loads of towels!! A simple breakfast is provided. They give you a voucher for the cafe next door where you receive a choice of croissant or brioche and a huge coffee and a orange juice. If you want a large English breakfast you won't receive this here but we enjoyed our breakfast and was enough for us. We would DEFINITELY stay here again!

I have been there with my wife while we were renovating our own place. She is from Germany and we live close to Frankfurt. Sorrento pool&suites is a lovely place Just one minute walking from the city center. Big and very clean rooms, cozy and with new forniture. The pool by the park together with the tennis court on demand is a plus. Wi-fi was very fast and breakfast at the bar close by was fresh and extremely tasty. Both hosts Tony and Peppe are very kind and they know all the places in the area. In fact they helped us with excursions by boat to Capri and the Amalfi Coast and as well by booking restaurants and the transfer back to the airport. My wife loved there and every year we go back!

We booked a 2-br apartment with Hotel Villa di Sorrento. We knew the apartment was not part of the hotel but in a separate building, and prayed that it would not be too far away from the centre of town. We needn't have worried! It's only 2 mins' walk away, across Piazza Tasso, from the hotel itself. The location was fabulous! Just few steps from Corso Italia and Piazza Tasso, on first floor. There was a master bedroom with king-sized bed complete with en-suite dressing room and master bathroom, living room which was converted into 2nd bedroom (there were 5 of us) with a double bed and a single sofabed. There was a 2nd bathroom and a kitchen with pots and pans and crockery and cutlery. The entire apartment was air-conditioned. There were 2 tiny balconies which looked out to the lane below and the Piazza in the background. Its fantastic location meant we could walk out for shopping or exploring Corso Italia or a meal, return to rest and offload our shopping, and go out again easily. All in all, we loved this place!

La Terrazza 38 is a B&B in an old villa on a cliff overlooking the Gulf of Naples. The upper floors are Villa La Terrazza and are not as nice as La Terrazza 38. It is located on the ground floor and is completely renovated. The rooms are well appointed with very nice modern bathrooms. There is a common area for guests with a big screen TV and sofa, but you will never use it because you will be on one of the three terraces enjoying the amazing views. There are only 5 rooms and we had the outside spaces all to ourselves every evening. We watched the ferries, yachts and boats come into the marina during the day and then brought a bottle of wine out in the evening to watch the spectacular sunsets. The villa is steps away from the shops and restaurants. It is perfectly located and the staff was friendly and helpful. Since this is a B&B they are not there full-time but you will be given a set of keys to open the gates and doors so you can come and go as you please. We loved staying here and being so close to all the action but then having a quiet place to sleep. But the views. The views are what makes this place so special. I can't imagine anywhere else in Sorrento that has such expansive, stunning views.

My partner and I stayed at this location for 4 nights at the end of August for a family wedding. First bit of advice which is no reflection on the hotel, do not get a taxi from the airport to where your staying (or get a taxi anywhere) as it is hugely expensive and cost us €150. There is a coach transfer which takes you from the airport to right outside to this location costing only €10pp, they always sell water, beer and Prosecco on board. We arrived slightly earlier than check in and this was no problem, we waited 20 minutes in the lobby whilst our room was cleaned. We were offered drinks and snacks whilst we waited and there was a friendly atmosphere from staff. Upon entering our room it was clean and tidy with everything you needed for a city break. If you were being picky there were a few snaggy bits that needed going over in the rooms but nothing that would bother you. The hotel itself is in a great location being about a 5 minute walk from the main square however set back far enough not to be disturbed. Whilst this hotel is right next to the train station and coach stop, we were not woken up once by anything and our room was the room closet to these. There are blinds, shutters and good windows which keep out light and noise really well. The only noise you will hear is anyone in the corridor as the internal doors are a little thin. The only slightly downside was that the breakfast lacked options. This didn’t bother us as breakfast locally is actually quite cheap with lots of options (we recommend Rita’s for pastries, coffee and sandwiches). Despite this the coffee machine in the hotel is very good! If we returned to Sorrento we would definitely stay at La Ferrovia Guest House again. Favourite restaurant of the trip was La Lanterna and Sorrento is full of restaurants and beautiful views. Pompeii is also a must.

Lovely reception and bar lounge area, staff were pleasant in the reception, bar and dinning area all spoke English very well, what let the hotel down for us was the rooms, needing some maintenance in areas that needed re-painting, damp areas around heating system and shower, and shortage of plugs especially in one room, the only plug was in the bathroom. Our first room No. 81 1st floor was facing the main road even though there were double glazing it was too noisy and we had to move, the staff was excellent in moving us offering a twin room which they kindly put them together to make a double bed, but the sheets for two nights were damp, including the pillow slips, until they were changed, then they were ok, this was room no. 88 were we had only 1 plug in the bathroom. Breakfast area was superb with a fabulous view of mount Vesuvius, staff were excellent, especially the elderly gentleman who greeted us first to our table, there was a good choice for breakfast, but for me the freshly cooked omelette was a must, bar staff were pleasant especially as one member was from Sheffield England, shopping area wasn't to far about 10-15 min walk, including the train and bus station, overall we did enjoy our stay here.

We enjoyed our stay here, we had a top floor garden room, so no noise. The room had everything we needed & was clean & comfortable. The outside terrace was a nice place to have a drink. The staff were really friendly & helpful. The breakfast was good, lots to choose from; although we weren't impressed with the evening meal we had here...but why would you eat at the hotel when Sorrento is full of nice restaurants - some of them not too far from the hotel!? The restaurant next door was ok, and down the hill a bit on the left was a magnificent restaurant with a terrific view over the bay of Naples! We loved the walk down to Sorrento & it was wonderful to look at that view every day. For averagely healthy people it was not a difficult walk down or back up, but you could get a bus or a taxi if you wanted to.We also walked down to both marinas from the hotel, & really liked staying on this side of Sorrento.

Upon arrival they both spent lots of time helping us mark on the map where they recommend to eat, drink and explore and how to use the bus etc. Libera even offered to help organised special trips for us if we wanted too, e.g- day boat trip Capri, Vespa rental, Pompeii trip. We founds this very helpful. Our highlight was renting the Vespa! Incredible experience made possible by Libera and Mimmo. A family of four, we were allocated suites 118 and 120. The rooms were spotlessly clean, with very comfortable beds, a large outdoor area with table and chairs, and a spacious bathroom with a powerful hot shower. Set away from the main hotel building, it was very quiet. I can't fault the hotel; the staff were very friendly and attentive, and extremely helpful when it came to arranging a hire-car one day. A special mention has to go to our waiters Giuseppe and Nello, who are a credit to the hotel for their hard work and service, Nothing was too much trouble and every morning Giuseppe would be on standby ready to make a 'doppio macchiato' and a pot of tea, and he was happy to let me practice my Italian. The evening meals were varied, tasty and very substantial - with a good selection of wine - and credit must go to the waiting/kitchen staff for their versatility in offering to 'tinker' with meals for the benefit of our two children, although they stuck to the options on the menu. With stunning views and beautiful sunsets from an elevated position (it's not that far to walk into town, and the shuttle service was reliable when called upon), the hotel also has a beautiful pool area that's really well maintained and kept spotlessly clean. We really enjoyed our stay at Johanna Park and would like to thank all the staff for everything they did to ensure we had a memorable holiday. Grazie a tutti per la bellissima vacanza.

Our stay at the Hotel was above all expectations: the room very spacious, always clean and tidy, provided with every comfort (also too comfortable the mattress from which it was difficult to detach in the morning...) and a huge bathroom with shower. We used several times the bar services and the lounge Terrance available on the first floor: very nice to enjoy the panorama of Sorrento from there. Truly all aimed at making the guest feel welcomed. This hotel gives you the possibility to reach Sorrento (and back) with a small private shuttle bus which we thought it was an excellent idea instead of spending money for the public transportation which are always late (20min about if you are lucky). Last but not least, we really want to congratulate with all the staff! We would like to let you know that you have been a great help for us.

The access is easy with a swipe card to enter and the staff are polite and friendly. The view from our room straight into the shopping mall was great. Oh and the bells do not ring all night they stop at about 8pm and don’t start again till 7:30am, in the rooms you can hear them but they have good sound proofing so not to loud 👍. My partner and I stayed here for two nights during our (first ever!) vacation across Italy. We had to wait about 10 minutes when we arrived for our room to be ready (though Chase Travel advertised 10am check-in, we arrived around 10:45) and during that time we chatted with the assistant (who might've also been the owner?) about how to get to Capri, when we should go, what we should take, etc. He was extremely helpful and genuinely kind. And while waiting he offered us espressos and brioche (which were delicious). He would ask how our daily adventures went and wouldn't hesitate to help out with any questions. The room was spotless! The bed was comfy. The AC and wifi worked and the TV was very nice to have. The room service breakfast is delicious too- brioche, espresso, toast, jellies, juice. The place is situated close to restaurants and a supermarket so it's very convenient. It's also a short 5-10 minute walk to the Sorrento train station, which was especially convenient. Would highly recommend!

I would say that this is probably one of my most favourite stays in any hotel I have stayed at. The hotel is so small, but don't let that put you off, its means personalised service, beautiful rooms and excellent breakfast with fresh fruits, homemade cakes (they are to die for) and eggs of your choice every day. We stayed 4 nights and really didn't want to leave. The room was immaculate, large, bright and airy with views over the streets below.

Lovely grand hotel in an amazing location so central to everything with the main square just a few minutes walk away. Probably the friendliest and most helpful staff ever encountered in a hotel - from the cleaners to the receptionists - and an extra special mention to Francesco the maître de who went above and beyond (organising a beautiful chocolate cake for my fiancé’s birthday and then singing ‘Happy Birthday’ to him - he made us feel almost part of the family! Rooms were huge, spotlessly clean and with the most incredible views! We had breakfast here every morning with the most gorgeous views and an excellent range of food to choose from. Very good value for money hotel - we would highly recommend and would love to come back!

Noticed that this place didn’t have a single 2020 review so wanted to share my experience from end of Aug. 2020 (4 night stay, couple). Summary: nice place, great location, good staff, but a lot of surprises which can leave a bitter taste. Perfect for a 2 night stay, beyond that it goes a bit downhill (cleaning). Also, avoid room 3, the other rooms are much better (better decor, newer AC, newer TV...). Location: excellent, walking distance from everything BUT please note as other reviews have flagged that the ‘hotel’ is in the third floor and there’s no lift (Photo of stairs attached, you’d go up 6 of these). Staff: friendly, they work hard to make sure you have a pleasant stay, even if when they are not actually around. They went out of their way and gave us a new room after a cleaning ‘misunderstanding’ (that’s when we moved from room 3!) Hotel: nice modern decor (unless you get room 3 which is dated) but be prepared this is really more of an Airbnb, here’s why: (1) No ones there most of the time. Staff are around 7:00-12:00 to make ‘breakfast’ and supervise cleaning, the rest of the time you’re on your own (even for check-in). (2) There are a many details / caveats which were not communicated in advance and can be a surprise when you stumble on them... - Breakfast buffet: cancelled due to COVID. You now get a tray with warmed croissants, a yogurt and a tea/coffee/chocolate (shame but I get it..) - Cleaning: only done once every 2 days, does NOT include a change of bed linen. We got back after a long, exhausting hot day in Positano and found the bed hadn’t been cleaned after 2 days... (turns out fresh linen is an EXTRA €20, no matter how long your stay). Also I have my reservations about the ‘cleaning’ thoroughness in general. - Towels: same as cleaning, only changed once every 2 days. If you want a fresh towel sooner EXTRA €20. If they forget to change your towel, you’re in trouble as there’s no one around. - Hot water: each room has a 30L boiler (photo). If you take a medium/long shower, prepare to be cold or have to wait for hot water to heat up again. Same issue if two people want to take consecutive showers. Not terrible but not ideal. - Everything is locked, so if you run out of shampoo don’t expect to get any until the next day (there’s a supermarket 5mins walk though) Advice to hotel: if you want to up your game and be a place for longer stays then cleaning is the place to start. Introduce daily cleaning (proper cleaning where my suitcase actually gets picked up and cleaned under, where the room is really tidied and made to feel fresh, and where things like the remote control are properly disinfected), fresh towels daily, fresh bed linens on request (but FREE) and be upfront with anything that isn’t included as standard. Also, would be cool to have the option of someone being there at check-in (e.g. customer picks a 1h slot) to ‘introduce’ the room, help with luggage and make this a more welcoming experience. If anyone feels t

We arrived Sunday afternoon, hotel was quite busy but we checked in quickly and easily. The view from the hotel is definitely its best asset, its stunning especially at night! The pool area is also beautiful,  plenty of sun loungers, sea views and all the facilities you would need. The rooms however are basic, we purchased a 'premium' room, but there isnt anything premium about them. The beds are firm, and bedding is cheap, even the towels provided are of mediocre quality. Our bed was x2 3/4 bed to make a king size. There needs to be painting touch ups in every part of the hotel, including our room. All in all, it lacks care and attention that you would normally expect to get with a 4 star hotel. On the second night of our stay  we were forced to change rooms due to Ants in the room. There were several in the wardrobe and on the bed. We were moved to a smaller, more basic room disappointingly. They had cleaned the room and the ants didn't return to the room, however they did restrict the access to the balcony as there were thousands on the balcony, especially in the evenings. The hotel appears to be losing to its ant problem as they are everywhere, including the breakfast terrace! The shuttle service is definitely needed as the hotel sits on a massive hill, which is fine to walk down  but is a nightmare to walk up. This restricts the times you can go to Sorrento or return to the hotel, however Taxi's are typically €30-40 one way, so plan carefully! Breakfast is continental, but the choices are limited, there is yoghurt, fruit, cereals, bread, cakes and the occasional cooked options. As we travelled during COVID times, you had to request the options from behind a bar. Its was average at best! We have stayed at other budget hotels that have offered better options. The weekends at the hotel become a play den for children. The hotel offers locals a day at the pool and a lunch package, so through the week the pool is quiet and peaceful and on Saturday and Sunday its basically kids messing around the pool all day. This takes away from the 'paradise feel the hotel is trying to claim it has. Finally the staff are friendly and accommodating and the hotel is very clean, however this is a 3 star budget hotel, that happens to have an amazing view ... the prices the hotel charge are too high for what they promise to offer .... a disappointing stay.

We spent a week at La Magnolia (29.07.19-05.08.19) and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. It is not a hotel so don’t expect hotel facilities such as bars and lounges etc. We stayed in one of the rooms with outside terrace where we ate our breakfast and sometimes sat out late evening. They are not rooms with a view but what you do get is a fantastic, ‘secret’ location in the centre of Sorrento behind a gated entrance. The breakfasts were good, sufficient if a bit repetitive. It is served by Carlo to your table who is a great host. When we told him we had to leave early on the last day so would miss breakfast he stocked up the room and fridge with some food for us the day before. Highly recommend this place for a stay in Sorrento.

We spent four nights in a suite (105) with our young daughter and 9 month old baby. The room was spotless, spacious and comfortable with a spectacular view over the bay (but to be honest you’d struggle not find a spectacular view anywhere in the hotel!). The reception staff were incredibly polite and super helpful throughout, nothing was too much for them, great eating recommendations and ideas for which beach. The other staff were all super polite and again nothing was too much, lovely conversation and a real friendly feel to the whole hotel. Breakfast was delicious, a great selection, eggs cooked to order and Anna was just the best, so friendly and couldn’t do enough to make sure we had everything we could want. The children were treated like little adults had a great time. We didn’t use the spa facilities but they looked very inviting, the pool was perfect for a post day out relax and cool off and our daughter appreciated the in room Netflix. The hotel parking should definitely be used if you’re driving to the hotel and it was a comfortable 10 min walk into town, even though the hotel (like most) is on the road you wouldn’t know once in, quiet and peaceful. Of note in the midst of the COVID crisis we felt clean and safe throughout our stay, more so than when our at home in Rome. All in all perfect, grazie mille, è stato un grande piacere e torneremo!

Stayed here for October half term with the family. We arranged a taxi transfer with the hotel, this cost €20 each person and is an hour's drive from Naples airport. The photos do not do the hotel justice as the rooms have been refurbished and are lovely and modern.Stayed in a room overlooking the pool. There is a safe and fridge, both free of charge. Rooms cleaned every day and are spotless. We stayed bed and breakfast. Breakfast was great, plenty of choice. .. cereal, fruit, yogurt, croissants, doughnuts, toast, boiled eggs, fried eggs, fried veg, sausages, ham , cheese, rolls cakes, tea , coffee and juices. If you would like a packed lunch they will gladly pack a large ham and cheese panini roll, bottle of water, cake and an apple for €5. We are out 4 nights in the town and ate in the hotel restuarant 3 nights. All meals ordered were tasty and plenty of it. A main meal starting from €8. pint of beer €5 , bottle of Pinot €17 and soft drinks €2.50. Pool towels are available free of chsrge from the pool bar. The walk into Sorrento town centre from the hotel is about a 20-30 minutes. The train from Sorrento to Pompeii is €4.50 return. Local bus to Positano €2 each person. The local beach is just a ten minute walk. Great hotel, the only things that would make it even better would be tea and coffee in the room, (although you can take one back to the room from the bar ) and the beds are a bit too firm. There is one thing we were un aware of when we checked out and that was the room tax you have to pay which is €1.50 per person per day up to a max of 7 days.

Stayed here in August 2020. Covid safety measures in place, including a temperature check on arrival at the hotel before check in. We felt totally safe with the hotel's covid safety measures. From the start to the end of our stay we received excellent service from all staff. We would particularly like to recognise Franco and his team of waiters who offered exceptional service. We were on half board, if you require a hot breakfast let the waiter seating you know and at the same time give your hot drink order. There is also continental breakfast available. With regard to evening meal we were given a set menu to choose from. We found the standard of food and choice very good. The portion size was European and not over facing but sufficient. The pool is amazing, large and very clean with ample sunbeds. Definitely a highlight of our holiday. At lunchtime lunch and snacks are served alongside the pool but under cover. Food is good. Our room was fantastic, Aircon set to a perfect temperature for us. We had a balcony overlooking the sea. We absolutely loved the room. The hotel and rooms as you would expect is in the Italian style, scrupulously clean and well maintained. Finally the views from the hotel are beautiful. There is a shuttle bus run by the hotel to take guests on the short journey into Sorrento. We hope to return to this hotel in the future.
