It is a little difficult to find the way to the hotel, so navigation is essential. If you get off the main road, it's pretty troublesome if an oncoming car comes on a straight road. When you arrive, park your car and check into the lobby alone. The elderly front desk staff responded and carefully explained how to use the facilities. Return to the car and move to the log house where you will stay. The road is wide enough for one car to pass. The log house is two stories and has 5 beds. There is a toilet with a washlet, a separate bath, a mini kitchen with an electromagnetic range, a microwave oven, and a small refrigerator. There is a table for four and a terrace. There was one double outlet in each room. There is a TV and free Wi-Fi. Although it was in the mountains, there were no insects inside the log house, it was clean, and there were pet supplies (dog toilet, rice and water bowl, deodorant spray, roller, plastic bag). It was a comfortable stay. There is no roof in the passage between the parking lot and the log house, so when it rains, there is an umbrella at the entrance of the log house, so you can use it to carry your luggage. You can walk to the main building or drive to the public bath and dining room. A car is good on rainy days. When you leave your pet in the log house and go out to eat, bring a cage and put it in and go out, or leave it in the car. The large public bath is a hot spring with an open-air bath and an indoor bath, so it was spacious and relaxing. Sauna is closed due to Corona. It was a meal plan, but when I was checking in at 5:30 pm and carrying my luggage, it was time to eat. I couldn't do it slowly and I was busy. I wish it was a little more flexible. As for the meal, the roast beef is prepared in advance and the meat is dry and disappointing. The beech meat and vegetable stir-fried on the copper plate was warmed with solid fuel, so it was delicious. Appetizers, sashimi, and boiled dishes were delicious. The ingredients of the soup are dry ingredients and the soup stock is not absorbed, and the taste of the soup stock is not delicious. The contents are good for the price, but I would like the quality of the food to be a little better. Breakfast was a buffet, which was satisfying. There is a coffee machine in the lobby, and all-you-can-drink coffee in the lobby. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Check out took a while.

I stayed with my family twice in January 2022, after the New Year and in late January. Both rooms were on the 7th floor. The first time was a corner room, and if you looked down from the veranda, you could see the flow of the Shima River. The second time was not a corner room, but a family of three could relax in a Japanese-style room of 10 and a half tatami mats. Both arrived earlier than the check-in time, but the check-in was smooth, and the explanation from the front desk staff was polite, and it was easy to understand with memos such as meal time and bath time. Thanks to that, I was able to enjoy the open-air bath early. The open-air bath had shampoo conditioner, body soap, and soap. A razor, aftershave lotion, hair tonic, hair liquid, comb, cotton swabs, and tissues are provided at the open-air bath washbasin. It seems that there was also a cleansing for women. There was a place where you can drink the hot springs on the first floor. A paper cup is provided. Two elevators. One was the observation elevator. There were heaters and rubbing alcohol throughout the ryokan. Wifi was available everywhere in the room and inside the hotel, so I didn't have any problems during my stay. It was fast enough. By the way, the price of juice etc. in the vending machine in the inn was the same as the price outside. I was impressed that there was also a vending machine for cup noodles. Tea and sweets were placed in the room, and there was hot water in the electric kettle and cold water in the refrigerator. The tea was Japanese tea and hojicha, and there were many teapot packs. For dinner, we had a meal in a large hall, but each table was far away, and we were given a bag to put away the mask during the meal. You can enjoy your meal slowly. I was satisfied with the quantity and taste. The catering staff was moving very quickly and it felt good. After dinner, there was a picture-story show by the proprietress. It was about 15 minutes, but seeing the proprietress's heartfelt picture-story show made me feel very nostalgic. There was also an explanation of Shima Onsen. When my son saw the picture-story show for the first time, he became a fan of the proprietress. The second time, after the picture-story show, my son was very happy to have a two-shot with the proprietress. When you return to your room after dinner, the futons are spread out and you can sleep right away. My bed is always my home, so the futon in the Japanese-style room is somewhat fresh. The open-air bath was open to men and women at different times, but it was spacious and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Even after 5:00 in the morning, I went to the open-air bath in the dark and woke up perfectly. Breakfast was also very good. Check-out is at 11:00, so buy souvenirs at the shop before that. If you pay by credit card, it will be smoother if you ask them to charge the room before checking out. When I left the entrance, the staff took out my shoes, everyone greeted me in a loud voice, and I was able to leave comfortably. On the way back, when I took a family photo in front of the entrance, the staff came immediately and took it for me. Shima Onsen wasn't a big tourist spot, but it was a very good place to go to the hot springs with your family.

Sekizenkan

When I read the reviews here, there were quite a few voices saying ”day trip is enough” as the opinion of the person who stayed, so I tried it on a day trip first. In conclusion, ”day trip” is enough. ” I haven't stayed overnight, so I don't know if it's food ... Below is detailed information on day trip use. [Genroku no Yu] Only ”Genroku no Yu” can be used for day trips. It is a famous bath called Sekizenkan, so I think it would be good to put it here. There was a comment that the word of mouth here was terrible and moldy, but it seems that it has been repaired beautifully recently. The tiles were not peeled off and the walls and ceilings were repainted. It seems that the prototype of important cultural properties has been kept firmly and has been renewed cleanly. [Spring quality] Colorless and transparent, it is of good quality with flowing directly from the source. The temperature is the right temperature. [Shower & Karan] As rumored, there is only one place. Shampoo and body soap are placed there. [Sauna] You may not notice that you are the first person, but there is an arch-shaped small sliding door on the wall of the back left of the bathroom (← In the case of a women's bath ... Is the men's bath the back right?) There were two sauna rooms with a capacity of one person. It's extremely narrow and not suitable for people with claustrophobia. [Locker] It's in a very confusing place. Pass in front of ”Genroku no Yu”, enter the newly established bath rest area, and beside the vending machine in the back. However, unless you really want to hit the hot water, you don't have to use the locker. The dressing room and bathroom are integrated, so you can monitor your luggage even when you take a bath. [Toilet] This is also in a difficult place to understand. Turn left at the back of the newly established rest area and go further back. The toilet is clean. [Free rest area] It was newly established as a ”hot spring” in the back of ”Genroku no Yu”. There is a drink vending machine in the back. The toilet is further back. It's not very large, but it's a comfortable resting place with a cooler. I was able to relax here until the return bus. [Recommended time zone] It may have happened at that time, but after 13:00 on weekdays in September ~ 14:00 was vacant. Or rather, I was in a chartered state alone. The overnight guests were before check-in, and the day trip guests were also at lunch time, so maybe they weren't there. It may be a little-known time zone. Even though it was a weekday, there were some tourists outside. [Cospa] To be honest, the cospa is low. As mentioned in the reviews here, 1500 yen (cheap inn towel & toothbrush) for only one ”Genroku no Yu” is certainly expensive. Well, let's think that we donated 1000 yen to protect ”national important cultural properties”. By the way, aside from inn towels, it is a mystery that toothbrushes come with them. Do you need it? is. It's cheaper. I don't like to be a luggage, so I brushed my teeth and threw them away (laughs). By the way, towels are new towels of ordinary inn towels, so it's a little to wipe off the water. If you want to wipe it firmly, you should use a bath towel (paid) or bring a water-absorbing towel. From the cost performance perspective, I would not recommend it to those who are not interested in ”Chihiro” or ”important cultural properties”. For such a person, we recommend a communal bath (on the riverside. By men and women) that you can enter for free. [Affordable usage method] If you are thinking of eating at Sekizenkan for lunch, you should use the restaurant first. The set of meals and day trip baths will cost 2000 yen ~ 2400 yen (the price varies depending on the meal you choose). In my case, it was 2000 yen for a set of meat udon and hot springs, so the hot spring fee is calculated to be 300 yen discount. The udon was delicious. [Souvenir information] I heard that ”Kaedetsukido” is the most delicious hot spring buns, so I bought them here. The shop is about a 3-minute walk from Sekizenkan. You can choose grain bean paste and koshian for bean paste. It was certainly delicious. [Is it a day trip? Accommodation? ] I was fully satisfied with the day trip. I think it's okay to stay in a room with a high grade, but whether it's worth the price ... I'm really worried about the information that the reasonable room smells moldy. There is a hot spring inn along the river. The food in the restaurant tasted good, so I think the food at the accommodation is good.

It was my first visit. It's a charm to feel history. It's a pity that the roof was under repair. . . It was Sunday, but there were quite a few customers when checking in. You can see that it is a popular inn. The response of the attendant who guided me first at the entrance was a little bit, but it was never office or cold. The room was a mezzone type and was wide 々 and the cleaning was neat. Very personal taste, but I was happy that the hot water pot installed in the room was Russell Hobbs. One of the multiple hot springs was not put in, but the public bath and the open-air bath were gentle and wonderful. The bathtub separated from the three hot water temperatures was also good. However, it is difficult to suddenly get up and down the temperature of the shower in the washroom. Even though I had hot water at the right temperature, it suddenly became cold water. . . The meal was very delicious for dinner and breakfast. The amount was just good and the response of the attendant was pleasant. During training? The foreign staff was polite and nice. My husband also said that the hot spring and the meal were great and wanted to visit again. Thank you for your care.

In accordance with Tokyo business trip, I decided to go to Shiman Onsen, which can be reached by high-speed bus 1 books from Tokyo, and examined the color 々 including word of mouth and chose this hotel. ◎ It was a two-night meal, a solo trip, Friday stay, but it was very cheap. Other famous inn was not able to make a reservation, and it was very expensive even if it was possible. ◎ hot springs of ”Tamura” were available. ◎ dinner was also half Viking in the basic seat, and tenpu (4 kinds) were fried and free to eat. Also, there were very many quantitative and I couldn't eat. ◎ Breakfast was a Viking form, but because of the time shift, it was almost dense and I was able to eat without stress. ▲ The heating equipment in the room was old and bad and very cold. Also, the sound was quite loud and noisy. If this was not, it was a full score.
