|3.75km from city centerFrom check-in to checkout the whole experience went very smoothly. Staff was very friendly and the hotel from the lobby to the room was extremely clean. Also enjoyed the bar located in the lobby for an evening beverage. If you’re going to Round Rock to enjoy the amenities at Kalahari Resort and want to save a little on your stay, it’s definitely worth it.

|2.4km from city centerWe have traveled to all 50 states so we have stayed in many hotels. Never have we found someone like Shelia In the breakfast room. She was making sure everyone was being taken care of. Give the lady a raise. We stayed two nights and she was the best hostess we have ever encountered.

|0.49km from city centerMy husband, myself, and my 3 children stayed at this hotel after attending a wedding last night. We arrived around 9:45 pm and just wanted to sleep. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless you want to stay up all night and party with the very loud crowd in the gazebo/ patio area. We paid $193 for the night...that was a very high price for this AWFUL experience! I would have expected this from maybe a $60-100 hotel... you get what you pay for...but not for a room for almost $200 per night. Yes, it was Memorial Day Weekend so the price was probably inflated. Our room was on the 2nd floor with the window facing the patio/grill area. Around 11pm the music was getting louder. It was hard to sleep and my kids were exhausted and cranky! I thought there were quiet hours enforced at this establishment. I called the front desk at 11:30 multiple times with no answer. I walked down to the front desk a few minutes later and made a complaint to which the worker at the front desk apologetically told me she would deal with it. At 2:30 AM the Tejano music was louder than before. The group gathering at the grill area was growing and so was the noise. I called the front desk again, no answer. I walked back down to the front desk. Another man was there complaining as well. The worker at the front desk once again apologetically told me she would take care of it. I saw her talking with the leader of the party group and several others. The party group clearly did not think there was a problem and it almost seemed as if the hotel staff and the outside party crowd were negotiating. At that point I realized that the hotel staff was unfortunately not in charge of the situation. I walked back up stairs realizing that probably nothing was going to change. I cranked up the white noise maker and the AC hoping to drown out the noise below. Around 3 am I believe the party stopped. I slept till 7 and left that morning. Our room was clean and comfortable, but it was IMPOSSIBLE to sleep due to excessive noise! That is a massive problem with 3 kids!!! I feel sorry for the hotel guests and staff. I was told the next morning that it was a group of 100 workers and ”they can get loud sometimes,” (Which means this is a recurring problem). I feel sorry for the guests of this establishment who have to stay longer than a night. I feel sorry for the staff of this establishment who are clearly being run over by their severely inconsiderate guests . I will NEVER go back to the hotel again!

|4.01km from city centerEverything about this hotel was great. From the time I checked in until checkout. Very clean, rooms very nice. Common area kept clean. They provide pool towels and the pool area was perfect for my 6 year old granddaughter. Had a beach type walk in into the pool and overall, was not too deep.

|0.51km from city centerOn a scale of 1 to 10, this place earned a 9 overall. Pro: This was a bargain place to stay in Round Rock. Room has small kitchenette—two burner stove, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, and small sink. Heater was not terribly noisy, and it heated and shut off quickly. Wi-fi was very fast. Don’t pay extra for the premium Wi-Fi because the free Wi-Fi is excellent. Wi-Fi connection never dropped during my stay. Bed comfort was excellent—best hotel bed I have encountered. No breakfast served, but coffee was available in lobby during morning. Con: Spartan amenities. No coffeemaker in room. Bathroom very small. Step-in shower (no tub). Shower curtain rod was too high—curtain did not hang inside shower (but water stayed inside anyway). Bathroom fan goes on with light (worse). Room had only one chair and no chair to sit at table. I had to ask for towels at the front desk. TV set wastes precious space on top of cabinet. Very limited space to set things. I got the ironing board down and used it to set things on. Location is convenient, but traffic on I-35 is horrendous! On the second day, my key card did not work. I went to get it reset. When I opened the door, my things had been moved in the room. My portable fridge was knocked over, and it was just left that way. The air conditioner appeared to have been tampered with. There was no notice that anybody had entered the room. I highly recommend it if you want a cheap place and don’t mind a few shortcomings.

|3.19km from city centerThe overall cleanliness wasn't good! Dirt in elevator, dirty windows, carpets stained and even the breakfast tables needed a good scrub! Around the corners of the tables had a lot filth and skin-grease.... In the hotel lobby and also in our room where a lot of mosquitoes.... Breakfast staff was very friendly and did a really good job... Whe booked breakfast seperate for 10$ for the two of us, but a lot of people didn't seem to know about the extra cost of the breakfast.... The breakfast cutlery and plates where plastic and it seemed a cheap option.... We didn't stay our second night, we booked a different hotel! We got a refund for our second night and we where promised that the manager would call us about our disappointment, but he never did call! This is our second time at a Hilton garden inn, and twice we found the properties run down, not clean and we will never book this hotel ever again!

|3.69km from city centerI traveled to AUS on a business trip and choose Element because they are approved through my company for travel/stay. Let me start by saying I had high hopes as the pictures were great and it is a hotel by The Westin! My room was fantastic and super clean! I rated the hotel 2 stars because I COULD NOT GET ANY SLEEP!! There is no sound barrier between floors so you will need to stay on the highest floor. I had to call the service desk multiple times asking them to ask the people at the pool at 2am talking to please stop. Again ZERO sound barrier. I felt like I was in an apartment and my upstairs neighbor weighed 500lbs and kept setting multiple alarms to wake up, which in turn woke me up every time! To the point that my right eye was swollen when I left because I literally got no sleep and was exhausted and tired. My eyes were so strained. If you are a heavy sleeper...you are going to love it. If you sleep light...keep looking or get a room on the highest floor away from the elevator and pool!

|2.49km from city centerWonderful staff. I have stayed here for about a week and I believe their rates are very reasonable. There is a safe gas station and ihop within walking distance with it being a relatively quiet area with much to do around. The staff made me laugh each morning, and assisted me with each question and thing that I need right away. Specifically Kash, Verocina, and Blake! They are wonderful and I plan to stay at this location again.

|3.83km from city centerHave you stayed in a Tru Hotel before? If so, you know what you're getting. A tiny room. A decent bed and shower. A decent breakfast the next morning. Sometimes, that's all you need. This was my first time in a Tru property. So first, the good. The bed and pillows were fine. A walk in shower, which is a plus in my book. A big flat screen in your room. A nice common area for working. Now the negatives. It's good that they have a common area for working, because there's not much space in the room for working. The little roll away desk was mostly worthless since there's not really enough room to roll it out and work at it. It's good I travel with my own plug in USB ports because I didn't see any in the room. Did I say the room is tiny? According to the internet, my room was 231 square feet. Good thing I didn't have much luggage. You know those tiny houses you've seen on TV? Kind of like that. Breakfast was fine. Not the best hotel breakfast I've had, but better than others. Some interesting toppings for your oatmeal or pancakes. Almond milk. This may seem trivial to you, but one reason for the three star review was the fact that the single ice machine on the property was out of order. When I asked about ice at the front desk, I got an apology. Since they advertise a ”we promise to make it right or we'll cover your night” guarantee, I was tempted to hold them to it and see what they'd do. In the end, I simply decided that next time, I'll stay at the Springhill Suites or the Courtyard that are night next door. One more thing to note. There are five or six local restaurants/bars within walking distance. For our Friday night stay, that meant this area was very busy with lots of cars lining the streets.

|3.71km from city centerStayed here two different nights. The first time was decidedly mediocre at a great rate. It felt better than a motel but not what you’d expect from the brand. The lobby and inside were sp**** but clean. The bar looked great. Some oddities the first night were a skunky musty smell on the second floor. The ice machine had also appeared to have been removed after it broke and replace with a sign to go upstairs (classy). The room was outdated but functional. There is FedEx depot next store and unless you close the blinds it will seem light daylight all night (not exaggerating). Also a bit of noise from that direction. The second night we received a different room and this is where the fun began. Looked like a bad DIY job in the bathroom that led to water flooding everywhere. I’d wouldn’t have been okay with this out of a cheap motel much less a Holiday Inn. The breakfast was the amongst the worst I’ve encountered with hotels. The saving grace was yogurts and cold cereal. If you get the right rate consider this hotel... but I wouldn’t pay Holiday Inn prices.

|5.75km from city centerMy recent stay at the Hilton Home2Suites was thoroughly enjoyable. The room was spacious and well-equipped, featuring a convenient small kitchen setting that added an extra layer of comfort to my experience. While the room service schedule for changing bed sheets was every 3 or 4 days, likely due to the holiday season, this minor detail was overshadowed by the overall quality of service. The staff were exceptionally courteous and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of my stay was pleasant. The breakfast options were a highlight, offering a variety of tasty choices that exceeded my expectations for a hotel in this category. Kids love to make their own breakfast. This is a pet-friendly hotel.
The cleanliness of the room and the efficiency of the staff in attending to their needs were commendable. This hotel strikes a perfect balance between comfort, convenience, and quality service, making it a great choice for travelers seeking a home away from home.
