We stayed at the buttery in Oxford for 2 nights in the family room 301 as a couple on 27th of October. This was the last room available and was the same price as a double room our friends stayed in so we decided to go for it so we could all stay in the same hotel. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was nice and modern with a good shower. However, the negatives over took the positives unfortunately. I’m not one to moan and write negative reviews but I think people need to be warned before booking. There was a lamp post and the light was directly outside the rooms window. Even when curtains were pulled, it still seemed like it was daytime in the room which mean’t we couldn’t sleep. The lamp post did not turn off for the whole night. There was a group of 20 people directly outside our room making noise until 2 in the morning in the ‘rest area’. They were singing, cheering, drinking and playing music. I went down to reception to complain At 1:30am and to be fair to the receptionist, he did go and ask them to be quiet. However, I expected Then to be moved on considering the rule of 6 and because they were being ridiculously loud and disrespect. I was tempted to contact the police instead. The windows in the room are not safe for children. They opened upwards with no safety net. A child could easily fall out of the window from 3 floors up if accidentally lent on, especially if the curtains were pulled. Luckily we were a couple and didn’t have any children with us. I complained to reception about all of these issues and they couldn’t really help. I expected some sort of refund to be offered or a room change but none of this happened. The nights sleep was terrible and with the 10pm curfew of pubs and restaurants, we were in our room by 10:30 listening to large groups of people shouting, screaming, laughing and singing until 2 in the morning. Not ideal for a family room.

Arrive in Oxford on a cold and cold afternoon, because the previously booked townhouse is particularly unreliable and temporarily changed to this one. When I enter the hotel in the rain, I feel the atmosphere of the home. The reception is not big but it is like a family living room. Special thanks to the beautiful Sophia receptionist at the reception desk, we carefully arranged for the temporary booking. The hotel is on the school campus, and although it is raining, you can walk to most of the attractions. The room has a wall-mounted heater, hot chocolate and tea, which is especially warm and comfortable. Full score!

I went to the front desk and upgraded 2 rooms to the 3 rooms. The upgrade was in the main building. The room was large. The upgrade was not on the 1st floor of the annex building. The room was small. It used to be a prison renovation. The children liked it very much. The breakfast was very good. Simple, small variety, the surrounding is very prosperous, you can walk around by walking.

The hotel is very close to the Oxford bus station and the train station. It takes about 3 minutes and 10 minutes to walk. There is a bus at the entrance of the hotel. No elevator, the room is not as small as imagined, there is a small TV, a fan, a small table, a small closet, a double bed with two single beds, a kettle, tea, coffee, small Cookies. No air conditioning, toothpaste, toothbrush, slippers. The bathroom shower room is small, the water is not smooth, and the water can flood the ankle when taking a bath. Our room was on the road, it was very quiet at night, and there was a lot of noise after 5:00 in the morning. The curtains in the room are light, and the outside light cannot be isolated. The room is brighter when sleeping at night.

This hotel is very close to the bus station. We went to Bicester, so it is very convenient to stay here. The only bad thing is the garbage station next to the hotel. It is a bit noisy at night, the front desk service is very good, help with luggage, and it is very warm. Temporary check-in is a good choice for catching a train or catching a car!

The hotel records more than 800 meters of Oxford Railway Station. The hotel is very close to all attractions of Oxford University. There is a large shopping mall near the hotel. Breakfast at the hotel is 13 pounds at check-in and 15 pounds after check-in. The hotel's breakfast is relatively simple, but it is a reasonable price compared to British prices. In the mall not far from the hotel, there is the breakfast Club (on the third floor of the mall). The breakfast is very good, and it is about 10 pounds, but there are more choices than hotels. I stayed at the hotel for two nights. Eating here, it feels pretty good. The hotel has a gym, and the hotel rooms are still very comfortable. You can see a lot of restaurants when you walk out of the hotel along the river.

I played in Oxford for two days, because it was three people, so the choice was not so much, so I decided to make it. The room was clean and tidy, but the faucet was leaking, and the chandelier inside was also bad. There was a door in the room that could not be closed. But in general, the price is reasonable, the location is convenient, two minutes walk to the city center, the train station is less than ten minutes, but the hotel entrance is very small, on the street, you must carefully look at the signs posted at the door to find, service staff Is a little brother, very good attitude, but also help with luggage. If you are pursuing a good environment, it is not recommended, but if you travel short distances and many people, it is okay.

Breakfast was rich and tasty, especially sausage. The parking lot is large. Almost everyone came to live after Bicester shopping. It is convenient to drive to Oxford city for more than 20 minutes. I left something when I left. Calling the hotel quickly helped us find it, and I got it back smoothly. The only dissatisfaction is that the check-in front desk is very unprofessional, first of all saying that there is no order from us, then saying that the order was cancelled? Finally, we said we booked the wrong time? The result was a false alarm. She made the mistake ......... and the bathing sewer didn't feel that the water was flowing quickly, so I was always afraid to leak it. Other facilities are good, soundproofing is also possible, it is a new hotel.

We stayed just one night - 3 of us in 2 rooms - and were royally welcomed. The rooms are very well equipped and have all you need for a comfortable stay. Our en-suite was bijou but perfectly adequate (we are a bit spoilt by a huge walk in shower at home). Breakfast was plentiful, well cooked and varied with a wide range of stuff to eat and drink. Parking on site in this nightmare of a city for parking was a real bonus, and they were great at allowing us to go back and park later in the day whilst waiting for our daughter to finish her seminar down the road. Very helpful owner who was open to learning of a couple of minor faults in our room (sink plug detached, and wobbly chair) and committed to sorting them out as soon as we had gone. Reasonably priced but recommend you book direct for the best price, rather than an agent (sorry TA!). I would definitely stay here again.

Three details need to be improved: 1. On the second day of the stay, I found that the bathroom should have the standard shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and shampoo, and gave two conditioners. It is estimated that the cleaning staff is careless. Wrong; 2, the third floor of the superior room, the aging of the socket behind the bedside table, the aging of the desk lamp power line, it is recommended to maintain, repair, the guests should pay attention to the safety of electricity; 3, there is uncleaned coffee stain residue on the table coffee spoon Although I will not use the utensils in the hotel, this unhygienic detail was discovered and proposed by me. I hope the hotel can be improved and the guests can be careful.

The hotel is about 5 minutes walk from the train station. From the train station, you can see the hotel by going straight down the crowd. There is no elevator, it is recommended that the parents with heavy luggage choose the lower floor. Room space is quite spacious compared to London, especially the bathroom! Fruit and cookies are provided free of charge, as well as three bottles of soda. You can also store your luggage when you leave the store. About ten minutes walk from the hotel to Christ Church, the hotel is conveniently located and several famous colleges are within walking distance. We saw the four most famous colleges in Oxford in the morning, and took the train to Bicester in the afternoon. The train was 15 minutes away and it was very convenient. Off peak Three round trips to £6.6. The downside of the hotel is that the wooden floor is walking along the road, the sound insulation is not very good, this is also a common problem of many hotels, not a problem! In addition, there are several options for breakfast at the hotel, the price is different. The three of us ordered two hot English breakfasts and one bacon omelet plus two small pieces of bread. The picture has a price list. When you go out, you need to hand over the keys to the front desk for safekeeping. It's strange, but the service is very warm!

The environment is very good and suitable for family travel. The location is about 28 minutes' walk from the city center in the north of Oxford. There is a bus stop in front of the door, but we did not sit. Breakfast English breakfast, buffet can be ordered, and walk to Oxford University Park the next day Other places are all on foot. The only drawback of the room is not soundproof, and the sound of snoring upstairs can be heard. Can park. Like the study in the public area.

Our group of 5 adults chose High Hedges to stay based on its close proximity to the centre of Oxford and the recommendations of others on Trip Advisor. We were not definitely not disappointed. We received a very warm welcome from Melanie who showed us to our accommodations which turned out to be 2 very spacious apartments and a double room. All these were extremely well appointed, with full kitchen facilities and all appliances including a well stocked coffee maker. Everything was very clean and spick and span, with good quality soft funishings, bed linen and towels. The bedrooms were separate to the lounge/living areas where there were large, wall mounted TVs and free WiFi. The included breakfast in the morning was brilliant with a good range of cereals, fruit juices, teas, coffee etc and all manner of cooked items to choose from although there was no actual menu which might be an idea for the future. Melanie was an extremely gracious and helpfull host and even managed to print out some emails we needed and had forgotton to do so beforehand. She also recommended a couple of local restaurants which proved to be excellent choices and she was a great source of knowledge and ideas for our visit to Oxford..

Had a 2 night midweek stay to visit Oxford. The venue was very clean although some cosmetic improvments were required ie sealant around the shower area. No real friendly introduction from the owners and it felt like we were just another paying customer. When we mentioned we hadn't booked breakfast but had sent an e mail - no apology that a response hd not been sent but they would require payment in cash. The issue that caused the most offence was that in error we had left our room key in our room and as soon as we arrived back we were informed " you left your key in your room and therefore you prevented us from going out" ( it like being back at school!) We apologised 3 times - they had our mobile number so why they didn't text ot ring us to say we had left the key and therefore we woundn't be able to access the B and B which we would have respected. Location is about 1 mile from City Centre and on a main bus route. Good hearty breakfast

The positives: lovely location in suburban Iffley on a road that leads only to the village and where you can walk half an hour along the towpath into Oxford; free parking; relatively quiet. However, our room left a lot to be desired. To be fair, it was a last minute booking of allegedly the last double room and may have been the last to be done up as a peep at other rooms showed them to be looking rather nicer. The room was large as was the bathroom. But the (we now know) blanket inside a duvet cover coupled with one window that didn't shut as the frame had rotted meant I was freezing cold all night - the full length, dingy curtains falling off their rails effectively covered the radiator and prevented any heat reaching the room. There were two thin pillows and no spares, nor a spare blanket; only one bedside light. The bathroom had a separate shower cubicle with a cheap plastic shower head that dribbled and left black mould all over the shower tray so we didn't use it; luckily there was a bath but the shower part of the mixer had been removed, the plug didn't fit properly and it was a weird corner shape you had to hunch up in. Breakfast had been included for a small extra fee and would certainly not have been worth £7.50 had we opted for it later. Apparently the scrambled eggs with a garnish of smoked salmon tasted very nice, but my poached eggs and avocado comprised thick chunks of unripe avocado that were indigestible. Perhaps a sign this was not unusual was that when we came to pay, they'd already taken payment from the card, in spite of the booking site saying that payment was on check out! We were lucky to be passing through for one night only, but if we'd not been cheap but had spent £30 more for the hotel further up the road, we'd have got so much more...

I've stayed at Cowley premier a few times every fortnight,as I have to go for cancer treatment at the churchill hospital. I produced a letter off hospital when I first started staying there, never a problem till this weekend 31st jan till 2nd Feb.the receptionist Amanda very lovely lady, started to check me & my plus one in when the deputy manager started to be very rude & obnoxious about me producing my letters of appointments & dates. I explained that I dont get appointments thro post as there all in my appointment book along with why I am there & type of treatment. He then went on to accuse me of writing it myself, he got very patronising. Demanded I get a letter off the hospital of every date I'm going to be staying at hotel. The other receptionist Amanda tried to explain that I'm a regular but he was very rude to her. He said the only reason he was going to check us in is because of the 2 hr drive we had just do. I went for my treatment the next day got a letter of my consultant & showed him on my return that evening. To which he didn't even look at & tried patronising me again. As you can imagine after my treatment I felt very poorly & tired. I went back to my room & was very upset of the whole experience of that weekend. I spoke to some other guests that had checked in on the monday & he was very rude to them, they were supposed to be there all week working but checked out the next morning. All can say is "very rude obnoxious patronising man.

Very amazing hotel! In the cold winter, after arriving at the hotel, I saw my name on the parking lot and placed it on a reserved parking space. Very caring. Walk into a low wooden door, the wooden door is full of beautiful branches and dried fruits. Very dreamy. The warm fire that opened the door flashed in the huge fireplace, and there was a feeling in the movie. A hotel that has been remodeled for nearly 300 years. It is normal to walk up and down the stairs. I don't think it is a problem. The rooms are not large, but they are completely prepared according to the standards of five-star luxury hotels, disposable slippers (most hotels in the UK are not available), warm towel racks (all hotels stayed in 7 hotels, only this towel rack really It is so warm and warm). The location is not the most central, but walking to the central area, it is 5-8 minutes, it is also very convenient. Very close to the Bit River Museum, 5 minutes walk. Small and exquisite museums, parents with children should not miss it. The hotel’s own restaurant is very hot. Both morning and evening are full.
