I arrived extremely early and forgot to request an early check-in (although early check-in is not guaranteed and still based on availability), so I ended up waiting 4 hours in the very small lobby and breakfast area. Finally get a room and it's a basement room! Small and dark, to say the least. Called to request another room and was told none available until much later. Being tired after a long flight, I decided to keep the room. We left the room at 7AM the next morning (had tickets to the Wendy Williams Show!), and I placed a written note on my bed instructing housekeeping not to change my sheets. We arrived back to the room around 4 PM, hoping to relax before heading out to dinner, but was surprised to find BOTH beds stripped, towels everywhere, and housekeeping nowhere to be found. Looked like they left right in the middle of cleaning! The worst part was seeing the condition of the mattress pads. Horrible stains everywhere – I almost gagged thinking about sleeping on it the night before. See the pictures for yourself. There was also trash and bags of dirty bedding and towels left throughout the hall. I forgot to mention it was common to see bags of “laundry” in the one small elevator as well. Well, called the front desk to complain and demand another room out of the basement. Had to escalate it up to a manager and finally got a room on the 3rd floor. This room was slightly bigger, looked a lot cleaner, and we had a much better view. However, the configuration of the rooms is very inconvenient. There is a huge closet armoire placed behind the doors so you can’t fully open the room door - a pain trying to wheel in your luggage. And for rooms with two beds, you have to squeeze between one of the beds and the wall to get into the bathroom because the bed is so close to the bathroom door. The bathroom itself is a nice size but the single sink is placed so close to the bathroom door that you're literally touching the door while using the sink. Just awkward, especially sink there is a long counter top with plenty of room for two sinks! I thought maybe it was like that in the basement room because of the cramped space, but it appears to be set up like that in all the rooms. Overall, would not stay here again or recommend. The saving grace was the free breakfast and good location.

The room was nice, spacious, clean and well-maintained. The service was impeccable, the receptionist always offer us 2 water bottles every morning and evening (I have stayed in a lot of hotels in the US and this is the first hotel that does that!). The breakfast was really efficient despite the small available space.

Made a reservation online. Arrived at the hotel to check in and the front desk agent Mohammed said that he was unable to take the security deposit from my card. Odd!30 minutes before, was able to take the deposit for the room on the same card. Interesting. I called my financial institution and put the call on speaker so that the front desk agent Muhammad could be privy to the call. It is only after Muhammad heard the bank representative say that their is no block on the card and that it must be a problem with the hotels terminal that he attempted to take the deposit again and miraculously this time it went through. Hummm? The elevator was out of order. Strike one. The room was the size of a small closet. Strike two.The floor as well as inside the room smelled like cigarette smoke. strike three. I went back to the front desk and asked to cancel my reservation and demanded a refund. As of this post I am still waiting on to apply the refund to my account. Don't come to this dump of a hotel!

Our organization runs Institutes and conferences for K-16 educators across the U.S. and internationally. We wanted to be right in the middle of Gowanus so that our teachers could meet for presentations and then field work. We found the Fairfield Inn and Shaaray and her team took such great care of us that it felt like being home. Many of our participants even commented on how well they felt taken care of. Michael was ready for us early and spared no effort to make sure our A/V needs were met. He checked back frequently with us to make sure all went well. (This is unusual in my experience) The Fairfield is extremely well kept and clean and so we felt it to be perfect since our image is always on the line the venues we work in. I would also comment that Sharaay went above and beyond in the weeks leading up to our conference, making sure that everything would run smoothly—and it DID. My wish now is that every venue we work in would have someone as on top of their game and full of professional hospitality as Sharaay and her staff at the Fairfield. Highly recommend the Millennium Hilton New York. A hotel with an excellent location and an excellent value for money, just across the window from the room was a $ 4 billion investment over 12 years of construction to rebuild the 911 underground New World Rapid Transit (PATH) passenger railway station on the site of the collapsed World Trade Center "Because it looks like a white peace pigeon, it is called Asuka Station." Asuka Station "covers an area of 30,000 square meters and is a network of shopping malls (named Oculus), interchange stations and pedestrian walkways. In one complex. To the right is the 911 Memorial, and it is not far from Chinatown. The Chinese takeaway will be delivered soon. Turn left when you go out of the hotel to be the 21st Century Shopping Center.

I absolutely LOVE the Concorde Hotel New York! Rada and Estefania at the front desk are wonderful! They have been so kind to me as well as helpful, friendly, professional and accommodating. The service here is fantastic! The rooms are beautiful and modern, and I love the hotel’s location. The rooms have awesome big screen TVs and mini refrigerators. The bathrooms are lovely, too. The temperature control is perfect, and the heat is fabulously silent. The also have a fantastic coffee machine in their charming lobby. I love it all! I highly recommend staying here. Thank you so much Concorde Hotel New York!

Stayed here 3 times it’s a great place to stay away from Manhattan. Close by to a liquor store and supermarket for everything you need since all the rooms have a kitchen with utensils. The breakfast is great too

Certainly had design appeal and was in a great location but never lived up to the pretence. The open bathroom isn't a great idea as water does get everywhere. Plus in our room, the waterfall shower was clogged up so didn't actually pour down onto you if stood underneath. Therefore, had to use the hand shower which has no wall-mount. Needless to say, the person you're sharing with can see all! The balconies - whilst providing a spectacular view of the city - are overlooking each other and you can see into the neighbours' rooms when stood out there. Other style over substance issues included a broken phone and toilet door. To top it off, I had a personal towel that I'd hung up to dry disappear with the laundry and never appear. Overall, wouldn't stay here again.

Check-in is fast, just submit your credentials and credit card. There is no breakfast in the hotel during this time, but there are also many fast food restaurants nearby, which is very convenient. It's about three blocks to the subway station.
