Stayed here many times now en route to Portugal and suits us perfectly. Big spacious rooms and good covid measures though food options for children was limited, we used the adjacent macdonalds in the evening. breakfast was a nice broad range of items. Pool was very cold, small and easily fills up. Covid measure adherence sensible and helped too to get a LFT needed locally for entry into Portugal as well. Ample free parking on road to avoid hotel fees and thankfully our room overlooked our car as well. Quiet and air conditioned rooms, clean, well equipped and a great nights sleep on a long trip which we will continue to utilise on future trips again. One glitch both ways was a faulty sink plug, though odd it was fixed twice, quickly.

Close to centre and within walking distance. Arriving by car it's a bit difficult to find and the parking sign is mostly obscured by a tree. Rooms are comfortable, breakfast excellent with a most competent chap on duty in dining room. Reception staff OK but could be a bit more friendly. Parking area completely secure but a bit tight to enter and park. Cost €11per day which I think was discounted for booking direct with Silken. There's a pay public parking area next door but I don't know how the price compares. At the time of our visit (late August 2019) the cafeteria and part of the reception area were being renovated and they looked a bit untidy. All in all it's a good to very good hotel.

I have been staying for work several times a year at the hotel for several years, the last in February and I will continue to come without doubt. The hotel deserves the 4 stars it has and the treatment of all the staff is one of the things I still appreciate to host here. In the worst time of COVID, you were just opening and logically with restrictions on meals/diners, yet you could get up yourself the order. In dinner you can ask for a letter (more elaborate) or if you prefer, the cheaper snacks letter even if you prefer dinner in the restaurant. Breakfast, one of the best in Valladolid with a dishes option at the moment and a quite wide time we thank business customers. The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable and is very comfortable and comfortable. Small, intimate but enough to relax before the day starts. In reception you are advised on the tracks with less occupation. ¡Perfect!

Our stay at the Hotel Ibis in Valladolid felt very unwelcome. The staff did not want to interact with us at all, I know we all have to wear a mask, stay 2 metres apart and the staff are behind perspex screens, but they could at least smile and speak with you. No-one we encountered was prepared to do that ! We have stayed at this hotel before and liked its large reception area with comfy chairs. The hotel has a restaurant, but we tend to eat in the reception area so we can have our dog with us and he's not left in the room on his own. . On arriving, the large reception area was empty of furniture ! Also, there is no outside seating at this hotel, so effectively, you are confined to your room as there is nowhere else to go, you cant sit at the bar and cant hang around in the restaurant either ! I dont really think it was necessary to clear the reception seating, it could have just been socially distanced. Also, there is a nice large paved area outside the hotel that is filled with abandoned planters with dead plants in them. That area could be cleared of planters and socially distanced outside seating could be put in with parasols. At least then there would be somewhere to sit that is not your tiny room. Although the hotel is clean and comfy, it doesnt have anything else to recommend it, its set on the edge of town between the wholesale fruit market and a large lorry park Breakfast for the next morning had to be ordered there and then on a form, and also dinner. We took dinner in the restaurant (only us in) and it was awful ! Obviously, a chef had prepared some basic meals for the receptionist to microwave. I had chicken which was very dry, my husband had pork loin which was better as it was in gravy, both meals were served with................a bag of crisps !!!!! The whole experience was a complete joke for a total cost of €24. Had we known, we would have bought and eaten from the petrol station next door ! Breakfast the next morning was better. We had ordered 2 of everything on the list each, which actually was quite a lot, so we were satisfied with that as it was what we would have chosen had the buffet breakfast been running. I stayed in 6 hotel Ibis on this trip and this one was one of the worst. Other hotels, especially in France are handling the guest experience much better than this one and my stay this time will prevent me from ever staying at Ibis Valladolid again.

Do not take the hair to the customer wanting to charge what is not worth it. I travel for business often and although I have already booked them made sometimes my wife is incorporated in such travels and it is normal to pay the difference for the use of the double room, in some hotels, not if you want to charge it. In this case, for the death of my wife, my wife had to come because she had to go to collect a documentation at the Palencia Tanatorio. I don't tell the hotel because I know the rooms are for double use less by week than those rooms put them in individual use by taking a towel off. When we arrived, we asked 20€ for the change when on your website and in Expedia the difference is €5..... and in addition to the next morning your efficient employee that so interested in charged us did not give us the additional towels corresponding!! The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable. The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable.

I recently stayed four nights for a business function in Valladolid and found the hotel to be a very pleasant experience. Rooms are surprisingly large and comfortable (I stayed in Room 11 on the ground floor equipped with two single beds) but are a little spartan with wooden flooring and light coloured walls. Sleep quality was good. The bathroom is large with bath tub, bidet and double sink but no separate shower. The room had no view to speak of overlooking scrub and lawn. As if often the case in Spain there are no tea and coffee making facilities in the room but what is sadly lacking and a pre requisite for a hotel claiming to be five star is an in room safe. That has prevented me from awarding a five star rating and I would have expected a safe in a Marriott property. . The hotel is some way from the historic centre of Valladolid so maybe not ideal for tourists as there is nothing of interest in the vicinity and you need to order a taxi to go to the city. It was, however, ideal for a business trip or conference. The gym and small indoor swimming pool were open and breakfast was quite nice albeit with no variation on a daily basis. I ate one night in the restaurant which was very good and good value for money. Staff throughout the stay were charming and spoke enough English for overseas travellers and I would certainly stay again..
