Great hostel with loads of activities to choose from. I don’t like the fact that they smoke in the reception area - but the rest of the areas were smoke free. I loved all the beautiful quotes around the hostel. Must fix the aircon in the rooms though as there was no aircon and it was very hot in the rooms.

The breakfast is simple but more attentive, and the location is excellent. The front entrance of the hotel is the commercial center, and the back entrance is not more than 5 minutes' walk up the mountain to reach the old town. There is a free parking lot, and the service is superb, helping iron the clothes for free. Great choice in Zagreb.

We chose Regal Residence based on the good reviews on Booking.Com and TA and were not disappointed. They care about the little things to make your experience personalized. Lana helped us check in a few minutes earlier than 2 pm and made sure the Studio Apartment we had booked was ready. Though on the top floor, it was not too hot with the AC running perfectly. The room was extremely well decorated and fitted out including a stove top, microwave, fridge, and matching Russell Hobbes toaster and electric kettle. The in room Cappucino was very tasty with a hint of chocolate. The bathroom had large dispensers of high end shampoo and soap, though I do prefer soap bars. They have a traveler theme with old fashioned suitcases on display, and a high end breakfast area. The breakfast itself was basic but of high quality. I especially enjoyed the large selection of local fruits. The location could not be more central. It is right on a happening street full of restaurants and nightlife and close to all the historic sites of the Old Town. A few considerations to make the experience better - let us know in advance that we should get dropped off at the end of Ul Ivana Tkalcica to avoid having to carry luggage down the steps of the park - the attic studio did not have black our curtains which is a problem for light sleepers - we arrived on Friday for a 3 night stay. We thought our rooms would be made up on Saturday but that did not happen.

I booked this apartment on Expedia for my best friend and I, and we were so pleased. The apartment is so well-appointed and they have decent snacks available with a tea kettle. The shower is so AMAZING and the bed is quite comfortable. Bruno was great and carried all of our bags up the stairs and showed us how to access internet and other amenities. The location is PERFECT. It is in the middle of everything and easily walkable to the Museum of Broken Relationships and other attractions. There is a great cocktail bar next to the apartment and great bakery down the street. I will definitely stay here again if I return to Zagreb. Tip: Make sure you call and confirm with the agency before you arrive to get your keys.

Good location, right on the side of the square! No breakfast, no kitchen, no toiletries, no slippers, no parking, it took a long time to find the hotel by car! The nearest paid parking lot is 10 minutes walk and 10 euros a night! The facilities are more general, the water heater can only be rushed by two people, and the third person has to wait for a long time! very inconvenient! Ctrip's service is too bad, communication is not timely, and understanding ability is seriously problematic! Never go abroad to book a hotel on Ctrip!

Hotel location is very good, room facilities are OK, there is no kettle and toothbrush toothpaste, most hotels in Europe do not have this, the hotel is in the center of the city of Jerashic, on the side of the hotel, a few steps from the hotel to the right to the tram stop. There are many trams passing by, take the 6-way tram to the bus terminal, get on the bus 6 Kuna to find a driver to buy a ticket, there is a bus to the airport at the bus terminal, it is very convenient to go to the airport in half an hour, half an hour to the airport The hotel is within walking distance of various attractions, not far from there are three beautiful street fountain gardens connected together.

Stayed here for just one night and went the budget friendly option as we arrived late and needed to leave early so wasn’t worth spending a great deal. Facilities were simple but clean and serviceable. We had a family room and it was nice that as adults we had a separate room to the kids. Is not in the central city tourist area, but with the tram going past the door and the Tisak (kiosk) just up the road to buy the ticket, getting to the heart of Zagreb was easy.

We were overwhelmed with the space, design and comfort of this little home. The hosts were like family from the first minute till we left. The proximity to downtown ( less than 10 min walk) made our visits n dropping home so easy. The big windows brought in the gorgeous sun light in the space. Though in a Main Street, it was utterly quiet. Zagreb is a safe place to visit and a heaven for the foodies and party sceners!! Once you come here, you will always return. Hotel Puntijar Zagreb has taken the family name Puntijar. It indeed is a family jewel. A recently constructed hotel in heritage style with a curving staircase adorned by paintings and photographs from the family going back generations. Each room named and furnished in antique style differently. Our stay here will linger with us for a long time. We were in a group of 30+ and the management walked the extra mile to make us comfortable. There were some amongst us who were vegetarians and the hotel has two cooks from India who made special dishes at breakfast both days in addition to the normal breakfast which in itself was very good. The hotel has a restaurant where we had dinner with the owner coming specially to do a show of slicing the champagne bottles with a sword from the neck in one strike. I have retained the neck intact with the cork as a memento on my bar at home. The restaurant too has a history with the the Puntijar family having the largest cook book collection in Europe and them having hosted many dignitaries here or cooked for them at state functions. A good stay. Word of caution the hotel is in a residential area and to get to centre of town you will need a taxi. The hotel does not hid this fact and mentions it on their web page which is a very good practice.

We stayed here for 2 nights, it was our first visit in Zagreb and although the apartment is outside of City Center (20min by tram) it was perfect. Apartment is located on a quiet side street with good parking possibilities (free of charge) and only 5 min walking distance to tram station (Uber is a good alternative and cheap). The Apartment was very clean and cosy. New bathroom with shower and kitchen with all stuff you need. Hosts Petra and Igor are superb! For the second time I decided to stay at Funk Lounge because I was very happy with the service the first time. The hostel is very clean, all the facilities are very well maintaned and all the residents I encountered in this place were all decent people all ages. It's very close to the city center but situated in a very quiet neighbourhood. The tram station is only a minute away and Uber from almost all directions is not more than 5 dollars. The hostel is more than worth the money we paid. We are definitely coming back.

The hotel's downtown room is almost as good as the European five-star hotel. Extra bed The house keeping in the hotel may have the habit of a thief. When we checked out, we dropped 1,500 euros and the ID card was in the room (it was definitely in the room). I repeatedly said that the hotel phone did not call, and finally hit Still impatient, very disgusting!

When we arrived to this place, there were quite a few places to ring and instructions were not that clear. After a few minutes, someone finally came to open the door to us and lead us to the apartment. Once we got in, we noticed the place was freezing cold. We asked for the heating to be turned on, which the guy did. We would have expected this to be done before our arrival, though. The place is laid out on two floors. Entrance-level floor has a first bedroom and the main bathroom, with the shower. The bedroom on that level is rather cramped and the bedsheets are just laid over the mattress, which is not that clean. The basement-level holds two queen-sized beds on which the bedsheets are better laid out and tucked in. But, the downside is that you have to sleep all in the same room. The kitchen is not so clean, lacks many household items that are common (toaster and corkscrew, for ultimate basics), has only a few plates and glasses... although this place can hold up to six people. Definitely lacking kitchenware. The fridge was mouldy and dirty. The basement bathroom was tiny and the wall next to the sink was moldy at the bottom. Overall, the walls were also dirty and scratched up. It took the superintendant a few hours to get the heating system up and running in the basement. Hopefully we were only at this place for one night, transiting. Had it been for a longer stay, we would not have stayed one minute at this dirty place. Please, avoid at all costs.

Brilliant hotel, professional staff and immensely welcoming and wonderful CEO. The rooms are first class clean, spacious and airy, the bathrooms are spacious, complete fittings for showering and spacious bath tubs of high quality, exceptional cleanlinesswhen! the spacious room is well-stocked by well-equipped hotels with 4 or more stars in Europe. This 3 star hotel has exceeded my expectations! Thanks again to everyone for your extreme kindness! The Hotel Loop deserves 4 solid stars. I was a solo female traveler and booked my room only 5 days before arrival. I knew I was staying in a dorm - type room with other women, but I wasn't sure what the common area would be like. It didn't disappoint! It had a cute check in area/living room and the dining area was spacious, offered cookies, punch, and water all day, and had a lovely healthy breakfast. They were great to point out all the areas that were must visit points while I was there for 2 days, and the location was close to everything I wanted to see. It was also close to the bus stop since I had a few items that I needed to travel farther out for. Staff was friendly, and staying with other solo women from all over the world was an enjoyable experience.

The hotel is located west of the city center, about 10-15 minutes walk to the Christmas market. The parking lot is small, and the fee is capped at 20 Euros a day. I had to confirm my order carefully at the front desk. I arrived at the room and found that the double bed room was replaced with a double bed. When I returned to the front desk to change, they also argued with me that the reservation was a double bed, until I took out the booking confirmation letter. The double bed room was reluctant to change.

Great breakfast made to your personal liking, good and clean 2 bedroom apartment. Parking available nearby, two minutes walking. Town center is about 20 to 30 minutes walk with lots of small shops along the way. We stayed two nights in the two bedroom apartment. It is not very large but doesn't feel cramped at all. Not sure if that would also be the case if there were four not related adults, but for a family with two little kids even bigger kids it should be fine. Keep in mind that you have to carry your bags up two flights of stairs. Excellent private tour provided by the owner in a tuk tuk.

The hotel staff is very good and the breakfast is very rich. The hotel is located next to the highway. There are 268 buses directly to the old town of Zagreb (terminal). The hotel takes the initiative to introduce us to the nearby shops to buy tickets for the city. It is much cheaper than buying tickets directly. convenient. The only shortcoming is the relatively remote location, there is no restaurant nearby to eat. The hotel has free parking and is ideal for self-driving friends.
