Stayed at the Sporthotel Strass as part of a package with Crystal Ski. We were booked in the Sport part of the hotel, some rooms have been refurbished but our room hadn't, but this is because we had requested a bath through our travel company. Our room was on the 2nd floor above reception. The room was a great size which included a seating area, a single bed and big wardrobes for storage. The Hotel could do with updating their pillows as they are flat as a pancake, we did request some extra ones but these were just as soft. The balcony was great, we could see the mountains, the Penken Gondolas going up and down and it got the afternoon sun. On the 1st night the room was really hot and had to open the window, unfortunately there was a lot of noise coming from the Ice Bar and the street, so we had to close it again, which meant a very disturbed sleep on our 1st night, it got better as the week went on. The Spa area is great, there is a clothed area with a Swimming Pool, Whirlpool area, Sauna and Steam Room. There is a very nude area downstairs with lots of different saunas etc which is mainly used by men. Please be aware you need to a pay a deposit for your dressing gowns at reception on arrival. Breakfast was fine, plenty of choice although missing Pancakes or Waffles as an option (have had this at previous hotels). We were staying on a half board package so evening meals we included. Evening meals are okay if a little fancy, at previous hotels we have had themed buffet nights (Local, Italian, BBQ) but Hotel Strass doesn't do this, there is a Salad Buffet, then 3 different options as a main and 1 choice for dessert. We didn't fancy anything from the menu on the last night so went out to one of the local restaurants. Our server (a lovely dark haired girl from England) was very helpful and always had a smile on her face. There is a boot room in the basement of the hotel, there is lockers for Skis and Snowboards, and plenty of room on the racks heating up boots. The boot room can be quite crowded and hot at peak times, The hotel is just a short walk from the Penken gondala and the Ahorn Mountain is a 10 minute walk or you can hop onto the town buses if you don't fancy the walk. Possibly coming back to Mayrhofen next year. Would stay at Sporthotel Strass again as the Staff are fab, they couldn't do enough for you, in the centre of town and close to the main gondola station. But would maybe request a room at the back of the hotel or on a higher floor as these would be quieter.

Longer report. We were on a winter walking holiday, as a couple. These items are listed in the order of importance to us. Cleanliness. Both our room and the hotel generally were cleaned to a very high standard, and could not be faulted. The presence of a hand gel dispenser at the entrance to the breakfast room tells a lot about the approach to cleanliness at this hotel. Service from the staff. Everyone was most helpful at all times, and regularly checked as to whether there was any assistance they could provide. When information was needed about local transport and upcoming events, the reception staff went to great trouble to sort out the details needed and offer advice. The lady manager/ proprietor was around in the hotel all today, checking not only that the guests had all they needed but also attending to a host another details as well. She was always present at and watching the service during the evening meals. The remainder of the staff clearly took her lead. The lady who manages the breakfast room in the morning not only checked all the food required was available (hot food is prepared to order as you may need) but also provided all the advice that we needed on where to go and what to see. If any follow-up information was required she made sure that we received it and she enquired the following day as to whether all had gone well. Food. The spread of available food at breakfast was super. Juicing machines were available that produced not only freshly squeezed oranges but other combinations of fruit and vegetables well. We were on half-board terms and had an excellent five-course meal each the evening, with ample portions. The hotel restaurant also caters for non-residents, so the advice to get to the restaurant early in the evening to avoid the busy time that can come later is sound advice. Leisure facilities. The hotel has a gym, which looked very well equipped but which we didn't use. There are also two saunas, the textile sauna where users can remain modestly closed, and the Roman sauna which is more traditional. Adjacent to these two saunas is an enclosed relaxation area with glass walls and ceilings giving the panoramic view of the mountains. The indoor heated swimming pool extends on to the roof top outside to give a super view of the mountains (and yes, it is warm enough even in mid-winter). Location. The hotel is centrally situated close to the principal crossroads in the village. You may read in another Trip Advisor reports the outside noise levels can be a problem in Mayrhofen. The bells on the village church are rung at some rather unusual times, but this hotel is sufficiently far from the church (about 5 minutes walk) that the bells do not cause a problem, even if you have the double glazed window open. The front of the hotel faces onto one the principal roads, and the noise created by revellers returning to their lodgings in the early hours of the morning might be a problem. Double glazing cut

Highly recommended if one of your party does not ski .....the Spa facilities are outstanding, wonderful pool and hot tub, sauna, relaxation room, treatments available as well as yoga and small gym. Ideal to spend time in before heading up the mountain for lunch on the slopes. For the skiers, walkable to the lifts ( for very little money you can store skis/boots at top of Penkenbahn) and the spa great for soothing those "ski legs". We stayed in the "old" part of the hotel but rooms are well furnished, rustic and with private balcony - bathrooms are very modern. Only criticism would be the room is very warm. Hotel staff are delightful, nothing is too much trouble and special mention goes to the wonderful barman, Jann, who however busy he was (and some nights he was very busy) remained charming and attentive. The breakfast buffet is excellent. Because of poor conditions on the slopes for 2 days we decided to delay our departure to get in a few more hours skiing when weather improved. Staff kindly allowed use of the spa for the non skier after check out.

We stayed in a Komfort room which was double bed and sofa bed. The room was too hot for us at night but turned down radiators which helped. Main bed was foam mattress which was firm and got hot as retained heat from body. Arrival was efficient and we were able to find parking onsite for free - there are two areas and under hotel - others couldn't find space but hotel let them park in underground area for free as was included in booking (not underground but none available) instead of Euro 4 per day. Bar and restaurant were good and service friendly and efficient. I was concerned about food having read recent reviews but we all enjoyed the food and had half board all week - self service salad buffet each night and a mixture of main evening meal buffet for 3 night and a la carte (choice of 3 including vegetarian option selected at breakfast). Kids could choose from kids menu (also included with our rate) so we just wrote what they would like in morning also - we added request fro brocolli for them to go with chicken nuggets and chips and they did that nice fresh bowl for them to share and offered children ice cream instead of a la carte pudding if needed. Buffet main had great selection - mixed grilled meats once night, italian one night and mixed general another. Pudding buffet on last friday was yum. A la carte food was usually a starter as well as a soup and then main and pudding. All brought when you were ready. Arrive for meal between 6-7.30 and stay as long as you like Breakfast was also buffet with omelette cooked to order upon request (fried eggs, other omellete and scrambled eggs pre cooked and ready to choose on hot plate- fruit, yoghurts, breads, jams, croissant - tea coffee, juices and cereals. Hotel also provided coconut milk for friend each day as non dairy option. Hotel is a short walk to gondola (we rented a locker at top of Penken Gondola to avoid carrying each day which was a big help with 8 of us including 4 children) - the hotel has ski lockers included also and there is a bus but we didn't use it. There is a gym which looked well equipped, sadly we didn't get a chance to use sauna, jacuzzi etc. There is a kids playroom in basement which has table tennis, table football, mini soft play and tv - various ages of children used it - I would prefer it to be more secure or have some sort of safety monitoring. The front entrance is auto-opening which I'd prefer to have an adult release button like other family friendly hotels have so only adults can open doors to get out. Pay by 9pm on last night meant there was a bit of a queue to sort out so go early if you can to avoid that. If you leave early hotel can put a small breakfast for you to have and also can provide packed lunch for trip if wanted (not sure if there is a cost for that though). Drinks are reasonably priced - big jug of water is charged at Euro 2. Wine recommendations were good and approx Euro 29 per bottle or more. There is no afternoon

Nice hotel and spa in Mayrhofen. Friendly, helpful staff, lots of nice little touches. I was staying in the 2nd building (across the road from main hotel), access to main hotel (and spa/dining/bar) via a subterranean walkway. Room was clean and modern with a nice mountain view. Breakfast and dinner were good with a range of options available. Bar served a range of drinks, with music every night (not lively but always busy with people relaxing). Spa was great, with a pool, multiple saunas, steam room and multiple relaxation areas. Can get busy at peak times (5-7pm) but most of the facilities were large enough to cope. Ski bus stops outside or lift is a 5-8 min walk (up a small hill). Parking available 1 min walk from hotel.

The hotel is located just outside Mayrhofen, about 2 km from the town center. The location is simply beautiful at the end of the village just when you just see the end of the valley. Try to spend your afternoon in the swimming pool in the garden surrounded by the mountains and green lawn fields. Just the sight is worth the price, plus you have also a sauna in a wooden little house in the garden and also a small SPA with direct access either from inside the hotel or from the garden as well. Rooms are very nice furnished with typical Tyrolean wooden mobilia. We stayed in this hotel for three times in the last 7 years and this year we tried the studio apartment just outside the main building, which was smaller than the hotel rooms, but still fascinating with direct access and sight to the garden. Personnel at the reception was very kind and welcoming, always available to answer client requests. We had the full board arrangement with continental breakfast, afternoon break and dinner. Food is excellent, praise to the chef! Just one point that would like to underline is that some of waiters at the restaurant hardly speak English. Just some more effort to speak English to non Austrian clients would be really much appreciated next time. We are quite regular clients so we definitely recommend to stay at this place in Mayrhofen.

The price is average. The hotel is at the entrance of the train station. There is a paid parking lot of 25 Euro per day. It is convenient for self-driving and there is a distance from the old city. The bus at the door should be convenient. The room was small, the suitcase could not be moved, and the elevator was small. Downstairs is Burger King McDonald's Starbucks. 5 year old children do not have a bed, no money, breakfast is free. Breakfast is just a few, European hotel level is almost the same The train is under the window, but the window is tightly closed and there is no noise.

Location: Very good, 50 meters from the subway, just beside the Belvedere Palace. There is a nice old beer restaurant nearby, I ate three meals there. Facilities: The room is large, with floor-to-ceiling windows, which can be opened for use as a balcony, and the bathroom is separated from wet and dry; Service: Chat with the front desk lady, saying that about 80% of the hotel guests are from China. So the service is not to say, friendly and attentive. There are problems with the holiday service in Munich and Stuttgart. It’s a sudden feeling of enthusiasm in Vienna.

Five stars recommended! Although it is not the same as the station, the left hand pushes the box and walks for 10 minutes. The tourist information office is also recommended to walk. Just to note that there are two Imlauer nearby, our star is high and the facade is more stylish. The hotel is located near the Mirabell Garden, where there are also bus stops (to the Old Town, if you don't want to walk more, take two small stops, it's very convenient) and go to the main bus stop of Salzgummert. Bottled water and apples are available all day in the lobby, and towels are also available, although there are bath towels in the room. Excellent attitude at the front desk, patient and courteous! The room decoration is relatively new, the bathroom is large, the layout of the three rooms is reasonable, and the added sofa bed is also very large.

I walked out of the train station on the first day. I didn't expect this hotel was at the back door of the train station. I walked through a small garden that was too late at night to navigate and write for ten minutes, but these ten minutes still panicked. However, Mercure infected me with the standardized facilities and services of a global chain in the next two days. The breakfast was really good, the favorite was marinated salmon and hot chocolate. The fruit is also very fresh, so be sure to eat cantaloupe. In short, great, go to Mirabell Palace to catch the No. 2 bus directly. The fortress is a little further away, and taxis are not expensive

Although the hotel seems to be general, the more you live, the more flavor you feel and the feeling of home. From the front desk to the restaurant to the cleaning staff are very warm and friendly. The bathroom has a rack of toasted towels and clothes, which is automatically turned on every night (also remember to open the switch yourself!), the clothes must be dry the next day. Hotel location is excellent. Within a 15-minute walk from the Old Town of Salzburg, it is easy to visit the local sights of Salzburg, and the Salzburg Main Station can be reached within 10 minutes, making it easy to get in and out of Salzburg. Most importantly, the hotel is right next to the Mirabell Palace, which is also a place for a day trip to various nearby lakes starting from Salzburg to buy tickets and get on and off. You can go to Hallstatt for a day trip. Half-day tour of St. Wolfgangsee, Half-Day Tour of Music, etc. There is an Asian buffet (13 Euro/guest) opposite the hotel. If you like Asian food, you can solve it. It is recommended to walk (less than 10 minutes) to eat near the main train station. There are many choices, special features and not expensive. It is recommended to go to the Spanish restaurant on the right side of the train station. Tapas and lemon juice iced tea are great.

Walked 15-20 minutes from the train station, the location is OK. However, it is not possible to check in early. What is even worse is that at 3 o'clock, it is said that it has not been cleaned up, and it has to wait. This is not very satisfactory. Although it is a tight manpower on weekends, it can not harm the interests of the guests. Not far from the station, about 5-10 minutes. If there is Salzburg card, it is not recommended to walk to the old town, it is still quite tired to go to the sights. Go to the Stein Trail and the shopping area is closer. Breakfast is good, there are many Americans living. The room is small, the extra bed is not strong, there is no kettle, I have not used it for a long time. But give a bottle of water every day, bath products are good.

The Sacher Hotel can be called first class in the hotel I have stayed in. First of all, the hotel is located in the old town. The window is the Salzburg with the most famous lock bridge. A river flows in front of the hotel. This will be a beautiful picture. The service of the hotel perfectly reflects the unique brand image of the Sahe Hotel. Due to the flour brush outside the hotel, we have booked two rooms and upgraded the room. We also gave breakfast, very super Value, the hotel from the front desk to the restaurant and then the service of the rooms are very intimate, this hotel perfectly interprets the classics of history

The highlight of this 600-year-old hotel is the service. The front desk or restaurant service is excellent. Professional service. Many high-end hotels have it. But this one makes people feel particularly sincere. Every word and every sentence they listen to and answer carefully and surpasses expectations. You do a good job, for example, when you see me have a bunch of coins at checkout, I will take the initiative to change the whole amount of money. I consult the trip to Munich and immediately help me find out and print out a list of the specific situation, which company bought the tickets How to get to the station ticket office Breakfast is average, but children are free (my child is 9 and a half years old) If you do not want to eat, there are McDonald's and Starbucks a few steps away, but the environment is always good One of the hotel's restaurants is the local one. It is the first recommendation on the lonely planet, so dinner can be solved at the hotel every day. One big one, two small juices, one soup, two main courses. Tips are not included. The service is great. Up Karajan was a frequent visitor to this restaurant The quilt is very comfortable Next to LV Anyway, I'd definitely choose here again

The hotel is diagonally opposite the square in front of the train station. The bus station is also here. There are many buses to go to the city (it seems there are 1, 3, 5, 6, 25, etc.). You can also go to Haierbu by taking 25 Rum Palace and Alpine Ropeway, Burger King, McDonald's, Starbucks, etc. in the square in front of the station, there are two SPAR supermarkets, and a customer service center (purchasing Salzburg card). Breakfast is OK, not particularly rich but enough, restaurant On the highest floor, you can see the Salzburg Fortress and the Alps. The disadvantage is that the hotel is about 3 kilometers away from the urban area. After shopping in the urban area at night, you have to come back by car, and some front desk staff do not speak English.

The location is not as good as imagined. It takes fifteen minutes to walk from the train station with the box. The old town attraction is also ten minutes, but this hotel is located between the train station and the attraction. Salzburg train station is far from the attraction. The room is quite big, there is a garden downstairs to eat, you need to bring your own toothpaste toothbrush soap shower cap. The picture on the bedside is really scary, especially at night. The most depressing thing is that check out at 6:30 in the morning, the front desk has not yet gone to work, the elevator has not opened, and the luggage has been moved down. Can park, it seems to be 10 even one day. In short, the tax is close to 700, and the price is relatively low.

The location of the hotel is very good. Not far from the train station and bus hub. The front desk service is also very good. Humanize. We stayed early in the morning. There was a cleaned vacancy and it was given directly to us. The layout of the hotel reflects Mozart’s hometown style, and the lampshades on the corridor are also a stills of music stories. Including the walls in the room, the cabinets are arranged, but the arrangement in the room is not everyone's favorite, it will be somewhat depressed. There is a coffee machine and a fridge in the room. In particular, it is recommended to share his family's breakfast, as a Western breakfast, or rich. There are juices that you can directly squeeze freshly, as well as a variety of preserves. On the table where you have breakfast, there is a hand-made book made by the store every day. There are weather notifications and Sudoku. I like this, very special. At the time of checkout, we received a city tax of 3 euros. Sleeping at night is also very quiet.

The hotel is very close to the train station. It is 4.5 minutes to walk. The owner is very enthusiastic, answering questions, helping to find a parking space and directing me to park. The key is that parking is free! ! This must be praised. . . The facilities are relatively old, but in Europe, such old hotels abound, but the hotel is well maintained, clean and refreshing. . . The breakfast is very good, the coffee is very good, the request is not very high, it is recommended. . .

The hotel is located in the old town and is within walking distance to all attractions. Very convenient. Parking requires a public car park across the road, 15 euros per day. Comfortable bedding and great breakfast. No air conditioning! It just caught up with the huge summer heat in Europe this year and provided a fan. The road is outside the house, opening the window is noisy. There is also a climbing mountain opposite the hotel, it looks exciting!

The breakfast is very good, the room layout is very practical, the single room, the bathroom and the toilet are separate and independent, and the equipment is quite new. There is also a coat rack in the entrance hall porch, which feels very good. The room has a small balcony, the hotel has a restaurant to order, the restaurant has a large lawn outside, the environment is good. The hotel staff was very friendly and enthusiastic to answer the consultation. On the first night, I found that the shower room was not well. The next morning I told the little girl who was cleaning in the corridor. I immediately went in and used it very well. 5-6 minutes walk from the train station, there is a big supermarket in the train station is very convenient, Salzburg is not big, go to the old town attractions will be 20 minutes, suitable for leisure and holiday, convenient train travel, I like it!

The room is quite big but the attic, the bathroom is dry and wet, 1 bed, 1 sofa bed, breakfast is not bad, the front desk uncle is Nice, give us a description of the location and location of Salzburg. We chose this one mainly to go to Vienna the next day, there are many suitcases, this is 500 meters away from the central railway station, and it will be a short walk. We stayed in the attic, the sound of the rain the next morning was a little loud, and one of the sofa beds was too small to sleep.

I ate breakfast. (In the middle) But group station? You don't have to meet tourists It was too loud to eat breakfast.

Hotel location is very good, there is a bus at the train station, take the 3 road, 25 roads to the hotel, take the three stops, it must be the third stop, or have to go for a while. The main staple of breakfast is bread. However, there are a lot of boiled eggs and scrambled eggs. The waiters are not many insiders or Chinese. Figure 1 2 3 is the location of the hotel, and Figure 3 is the location of the train station in this place. If you go to the train station, it will take 15 minutes.

The front desk provides very good service, and provides professional transportation advice for our daily travel (the travel advice will be printed in advance), the hotel has a shared kitchen, and there is a large supermarket downstairs, which is convenient for shopping. Unfortunately, there is no Chinese service.

I arrived in Salzburg by self-driving from Munich. It is easy to set up navigation to the hotel from Google Maps. The hotel room is clean and sanitary, there are supermarkets, pharmacies nearby, etc. The hotel's underground garage allows guests to park for free. The hotel staff is very friendly. When I know the pain in my leg, I will provide the medicines I have stored in the hotel. I also recommend that I park in the Altstadt garage A or B parking lot (the parking lot is inside the cave) when I drive into the old town. It is the old city, and it takes less than 5 minutes to walk to the food alley (the former residence of Mozart). Note that when spending in the food and beverage outlets in the old city, you must take the initiative to find employees to punch holes in the parking ticket, there are discounts when paying for parking. I stopped at the parking lot for 7 hours and 50 minutes and received 6 euros.
