Currently staying at this property. Booked an evolution king through Expedia because it said slept 4, and a review online made it sound like that meant one king plus a sofa bed. The term “evolution” refers to their standard room. A mom traveling with two teens. I apologized at front desk for the misunderstanding after seeing the room and asked if a two queen was available, however was told they cannot change room type. Love Issaquah and this is a great hotel, especially for the location and price. Just want to voice this for others so that they do not book with same impression from confusing room names. Not sure why they have regular king and evolution king in types if there is no difference.

I had to travel during the COVID restrictions. (It was an emergency) I was very nervous about what the check in would be like and how the room would be cleaned. On my arrival, the front desk was set up with a 12 foot social distance toy truck system. It was very ingenious toy truck and a ramp to take the cards to and from each person. The only card I sent up was my license and next to the truck ramp were wipes and hand jell so when I received my room card I could clean those too. The elevators had signs asking for only 2 passengers per ride and to keep socially distanced with masks. My room was so clean and remotes were wrapped in a paper stating they had been cleaned. When I had to return again a month later they had stickers on the door jam sealing the door stating they had been cleaned. The free breakfast was still served in a to go form. Individual bags had pastries and bagels and coffee in to go cups. I was extremely impressed with the care they took to make sure everything was clean and safe in our current situation. I stayed in a King bedroom suite. It was very spacious and the price was amazing. The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed to make a meal. We stayed in the same type of room our second trip and had our dog. There is a large open field about a block away that is used for dog training and was a great place to play with our dog and let her run. Anything you need is less than a mile away. Groceries, Costco, Target and a beautiful state park on the lake with swimming, play equipment and a boat launch. Not to mention the historical down town of Issaquah that is working on interesting ways to open all their restraints. I’m booking my 3rd stay, and hopefully last for a while but I will always make this my go to place.

The hotel is beautiful on the outside, it is surrounded by the forest and the trees were beautiful and this kind of made me fall in love with the area in general. The inside of the hotel was everything I expected except there was no breakfast being served and no vending machines. They had a selection of items you could buy in the lobby that you had to pay for at the front desk. But it was clean, inviting and I felt safe in the hotel. I loved that you had to get buzzed into the hotel, not just anyone could walk into the lobby, this made me feel safe to wander around the hotel. The hotel is less than a mile from anything you could possibly need, there is a gas station, a Safeway, pizza hut, a couple other restaurants, a Starbucks and the people living in the area seemed really kind. Definitely a great area filled with people that care about their community. The hotel room itself was everything I would need in a room for a weekend stay. The bed was comfortable, there was a kitchen with a fridge, sink, and dishes and everything was really clean and well organized upon arrival. There was a nice TV and the window opened up to fresh mountain air and a beautiful foresty view. Issues with the room were minor, the bathroom door handle would only let you out of the bathroom if you lifted it up, if you pushed it down the door wouldn't open. But the bathroom was clean and the water pressure was great. Another issue with this room was about every hour the fridge would make a sound like a dish dropping off the counter to the floor.. it was a loud thud.. every hour. The only remaining issue with the room is that there was no way to view things like hulu or Netflix. They only had cable and a DVD player. I had to hook up my own computer to the tv get on my streaming apps. The staff was great except for one individual which I will get to at the end of my review. The housekeepers were so sweet and helpful, they did an amazing job keeping that hotel presentable. There was one employee who was so nasty and so rude. Every time I interacted with her she was extremely unpleasant and unprofessional to the point I remembered her shift so I could avoid her. Her name was Layla, Layla was so unprofessional on the phone that I had to ask if I had the right number when I called the hotel befor I arrived. I called in three times befor I arrived and twice it was her and both times she was so rude that it made me anxious. Befor I even got to the hotel I wanted to spot her so I could avoid her. One of the nights for my stay I went to get some water and there was only one bottle of water left in the fridge, when I asked Layla if she had a couple extra bottles in the back she lied to me and told me they were out till Monday. I know this was a lie because the next morning the fridge was full of waters again. She also snapped at me for not using the pen at the pay pad. She didn't smile even once and she did nothing but glare at me. Layla should not be wo

Check-in with Abby was great! She was very helpful, a good listener and put me at ease with room location in a snap. Lobby is small but CLEAN, great area to watch TV while sipping hit tea provided 24/7. Next to very busy highway but room was quiet. Bed was SUPER comfortable. Room SUPER clean, great heater and nice hot water! It was raining for days. Bone chilling cold to me, but room was toasty! Cheung, Houseman, gets 5-stars for hospitality, taking luggage to room and genuine interest in getting to know Guests. Hotel is close to Salish, the Falls and charming Old Town Bellevue. Would stay here again. This is a CHOICE HOTELS property.

I was pleasantly surprised to see a well kept clean property, that’s something most hotels just look over but the whole outside was spotless. Just like my room, where I found everything I needed without complication and if i hadn’t I would feel more than welcome to ask the ladies at the front desk as they were very kind and helpful. I’ll be recommending this hotel to my friends for sure!

I have been a Hilton Honors member for years. Almost all of my reviews in the past have been positive. I will note that the Hampton Inn -Renton/Seattle is a franchised property, apparently. But that does not excuse what happened. On December 27, 2021, SeaTac airport was experiencing substantial flight delays due to weather. My family and I were enroute to Fairbanks, which also had a major weather event later called iceapocalypse in the news. At 3 am , our flight was cancelled. The airport counters had a huge backlog. Because we had two grandchildren with us, aged 12 and 3, I decided to locate to a hotel rather than spend the night on the floor at the terminal, especially given COVID. I contacted the Hampton Inn and Suites in Renton. I was told a double room would be $375 for the night. We stayed, instead, at a Marriott Courtyard about ten miles away for $121 per night per room, for the two rooms we rented. When I called Hampton a couple of days later, I spoke with a woman in sales named Phil. Phil stated that the ordinary rate would have been $175 per night, but that she had decided to raise the rates when the airport had its issues. I told her that I was disappointed and that it was price gouging. She said it was " the law of supply and demand." I will not frequent Hampton properties again unless absolutely necessary. I am calling this to the attention of others , as well. It may be a Hilton Honors property, but its avarice is far from honorable. The management should be ashamed of itself!
