No breakfast, just a lot of food around the city center, the room is small, low cost, but the service environment is good. If you want to save money, it is recommended to stay in Jersey City, next to the path station, so that the traffic is convenient, the house price is also cheap, and clean.

There are not many people who comment on it. The hotel is on 49th Street between 7th and 8th Avenues. The roads in Manhattan are easy to recognize, just right and street. Start on Fifth Avenue and then sixth, seventh, Broadway and eighth. In the middle is the street. The Port Authority's main station (that is, the coach station) is on 42nd Street, Times Square is on 47th Street, and the subway can be a 50th Street station, very close. A lot of food nearby (Ichiran Ramen, Shake Burger, Michelin Steak House). The hotel is not a well-known brand in the chain, it is relatively small and not luxurious, but the price is not cheaper than the surrounding Marriott or the like. Last year, I stayed at Marriott very large. The exterior looks larger and more luxurious than this. After all, his infrastructure is very early. But this good place is closer to Times Square than the quiet Marriott there, rooms have microwaves, coffee machines, free fruit and apples, bananas, potato chips, ice water for 24 hours downstairs. There is coffee and tea on the second floor, and friends can sit there. There are slippers, umbrellas and toiletries in the room. L'Occitane. These are not available in American hotels. Dental appliances are not. I booked an agent's twin room at Ctrip at first, which was 500 yuan cheaper than the official website. There are two types of twin beds on the official website. One is ordinary and the other is a barrier-free room with a handrail. The difference between these two types is 500. The double bed marked on Ctrip did not say that it was an accessible room. I booked Ctrip for a small farmer. The fact that I got the room was a barrier-free room, and that 500 was not bad. And it was very low on the third floor. It was super dark in high-rise New York. I went to the front desk to upgrade the suite. The front desk gave me a good discount and added me 50 dollars a day. Hall, bedroom with double bed, double sofa bed in the hall, both bath and shower, and 3 cloakrooms with bathrobe hangers. Ctrip's hotel booking is really very metaphysical, the price and official website are not bad, the room type is difficult to determine, I have learned lessons before. Anyway, the hotel location is convenient and the facilities can be serviced or not. The price is not bad. People do not look at their choices. There is a parking lot on the side of the hotel, and you can also park on behalf of the guests. On the side is the Ambassador Theater staged by Ryoko Micura of Chicago, which is opposite the Mormon Theater.

There were a lot of positives about the hotel- staff was helpful and nice; room was larger than any I’ve had in NYC and included 1.5 bathrooms; room was quiet; bed was comfy. I really wanted to love this hotel, and I feel like the staff did their best to enhance my stay, but overall the hotel just seemed really dark and dated. The air was also set to not go below 68, which is a deal-breaker for me. I totally understand why a hotel would put this in place, but for me, I need it cool at night to sleep well. It’s a nice place, just not for me.

Overall, I had a good experience in the hotel. The rooms are rather pricy but that’s normal in NY, especially if you have a room overlooking Times Square. The staff is (mostly) friendly and courteous. There is a 10$ voucher that you can use every day in the bar. They hotel has room service which is not a given in NY after the COVID related down scaling of services in hotels due to lack of guests and staff. The food is OK, though the quality and quantity varies from day to day. Be careful with your laundry service. I overlooked that the day I was handing in my laundry was a holiday and I was charged a hefty $140 for a few underwear, T Shirts and socks due to an additional holiday/Sunday fee. However, after raising the matter with the hotel manager - who handled the matter in a very friendly and professional manner unlike the operator I spoke to first - a discount was added to my bill that compensated for the additional holiday laundry fee. Since it was me that had overlooked the holiday, this was a nice and welcome gesture that I much appreciated. Overall, the hotel can be recommended though the rooms are a little too small for the price. They are, however, modern, clean and comfortable.

Facilities: good Hygiene: good Good environment good service After reading the comments, I was a little hesitant at first, but it seems that the little horse is crossing the river! The hotel room, location, and sanitation are all good, so I will choose this place again if I come back in the future. After all, it is a good price-performance hotel, and it is very convenient to travel. The noise depends on everyone's acceptance. I don't think it will affect sleep Of course, you can tell the front desk to choose a higher floor when you check in. There is also a $30 fee mentioned by many people. If it is included in the reservation, then make it clear to the front desk that the fee included in our destination tax can be paid. Spend at the bar and exchange for items such as Central Park ride tickets! The Evian water in the room has never been used, so be sure to check the bill when you check out! In short, communication is really important when you go out‼ ️The small sharing hopes to help everyone travel! This time, I would also like to thank Zhou You, the housekeeper of Ctrip, for communicating with the hotel in a timely manner and solving my confusion!

Hard to believe this hotel is a Kimpton. I love Kimpton and have been a member of Kimpton and IHG for years and this was by far the worst. The heat did not work and we had to ask three times for someone to fix it. I wanted to take a bath and the water came out of the spigot dirty. I took a picture of it (below) and showed the front desk so I hope they took care of it after we left. No complimentary coffee service. The walls are paper thin and you can hear your neighbors as well as loud NY traffic. The rooms are a good size (for NY) but few drawers to store clothes.

Our overall one night stay was fine, but I rated this property ”average” due to: - At check in, Peggy did not acknowledge us as Hilton Honors Diamond Members. - Our room (1011) was in sad shape. The floor was sticky. The furniture had tears and was very worn down. The ceiling had large water stains and the walls had water damage in several areas. - The shower had no 'hot' water. When you turned it to the hot setting, cold water came out, you had to let it run for awhile (wasting a lot of water) to heat to lukewarm, at most. However, our overall stay was okay due to: - Glad to see recycling bins...which we used. - Grateful for the complimentary shuttle to and from the airport. - Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast- plenty of choices. - We had a nice view of the city from our 10th floor room. This hotel is close to LaGuardia Airport. It was quiet, with exception of hallway noise. We did not have a car, so I cannot comment on the hotel parking. The front desk had plenty of menus offering Mexican, Chinese, and Italian food for delivery.

Because the plane was late, I arrived at the hotel at 1 o'clock in the middle of the night. The lady at the front desk helped me to check in very quickly. It was the speed of New York. Hotel location is very good. About 5 minutes walk to Fifth Avenue, turn to Central Park, and the subway station will walk for 5 minutes. The hotel is a post-modern urban minimalist style, the room is good, very New York apartment feel, but the breakfast is a bit too casual, too simple, but the breakfast at the New York hotel is probably so good, it is a very good hotel

Two doormen stationed at the front entrance saw us retrieving our luggage from the cab trunk, but made no attempt to help. I had checked in a day earlier and was great full that the room was made available at 12 PM . They did tell us there was no view; I was okay with that as we are in NY regularly and at this trip it was not a priority. I haven’t stayed at this hotel in a few years, but remembered the excellent butler service and lovely accommodations, and was looking forward to it. The checkin felt like something one would expect at a Highway motel. No explanation of any services, no welcome drink, no Butler introductions, nobody accompanied you to the room or directed you to the elevator. The room had the tiniest window, with a curtain without a valance (# 1406) facing a wall a few feet away. No Natural light what so ever. The leather head rest on the bed was ripped on a couple of spots. It had only one not very comfortable lounge chair in a fairly large king room. So if you are a couple, you cannot even sit together for a cup of coffee. In the past at checkin the butler would introduce themselves, offer coffee , tea etc and make sure you were satisfied with the accommodations. We had ballet tickets for a matinee, so initially decided to just go with the flow. Went for a quick lunch at the Astor, paid around $170 for 2 ceaser salads, a bloody mary and a glass of Duvel Leroy Champagne. I have no problems paying premium prices for value , but $28 for a Bloody Mary with a celery stalk garnish and stoli vodka? They claimed to have invented it , but definitely not worth the price. When we returned back from the ballet and returned to the room , it seemed really depressing. They call it an interior room , but it could easily be in a windowless basement. We requested a room change and requested to speak to a manager. We were told the manager was downstairs and would call us back. We were going to dinner, so left the front desk our cell number. The manager ever returned the call. On our return when we requested a room change, we were told that they were completely sold out. At this point we were exhausted an decided to just let it go and returned to our room for a good nights sleep. It was around 10:30 PM, and there was a continuous loud rumbling sound. When we called the front desk , we were told that the noise was from their service elevator which was being used a lot that night as 2 of their 4 passenger elevators had been broken for a couple of days. They offered to now move us to another room. So at 11 Pm we had to get dressed and pack up to move to another room. The new room (1903), had a moldy smell. Got up next morning with a back ache as the bed was not comfortable. In the morning the moldy smell seems to have gotten even worse and I did report that. I was told it was because of air conditioning! We called the butler for coffee in the morning. The French press coffee arrived with c

We stayed here during our trip for five days. This was our first time in New York City and it was exceptional. Since it was the first time visiting, I spent weeks researching hotels looking at neighborhoods, reviews, room types, everything! I’m so happy we decided on The Gotham! From the front desk to the restaurant there were no issues. Everyone was very helpful, attentive, and kind. The pictures are exactly like the rooms. We stayed in the king balcony room on the back side of the building which was really cool and quiet. We also stayed in the queen balcony room because we didn’t do our dates correctly lol and thankfully they had a room open. Looking out on the balcony in the queen room was awesome. We are returning over Christmas and have rebooked the queen balcony room and I can’t wait! This room is noisier but it’s not to the point of not being able to sleep. My husband and I live in the country surrounded by cow fields so if I can sleep with the noise level anyone can!

The location in Chinatown, a couple of blocks from Little Italy, is great, within easy walking distance of numerous nice, varied restaurants, bars and attractions. The room was clean and the mattress and pillows comfortable (Deluxe King with City View - we could see One World). The staff are pleasant and helpful, and they offer transfer to JFK airport for £72 cash, including tip (payable in advance), which is good value. 24 hrs notice is required. It was a nice vehicle and the driver was early (we booked for 5.45am). The only downside, and it's a major one, was the room temperature. The air conditioning in the room is controlled by the hotel, not the guests. If you want them to change it you can ask. We were there 3 nights. Didn't get much sleep on the first night because the room temperature was set at 70 Fahrenheit and there was a sheet and a heavy duvet on the bed. It was either too cold or too hot. We asked for a lighter duvet but they didn't have any. I asked for the temperature to be turned down the next day but when we went to bed it was set at 72 Fahrenheit. We slept under sheets for the next 2 nights but weren't particularly comfortable. If a hotel can't provide the conditions for a good night's sleep then it's failed. It's simple. Allow guests to control the temperature in their room. Give them a sheet, a light duvet and further bedding they can use if they're cold.

We stayed here for 4 nights during a visit to NYC for a family wedding event. We chose this hotel for the location (near wedding functions) and positive reviews on Trip Advisor). We paid approximately $525 (room, taxes and fees) per night for a one bedroom suite (we needed the extra room for event decorations). First the positives. The hotel is located in a nice area which we found to be close to everything we needed. Good restaurants, good coffee shops and, most importantly, good bagel shops. The hotel staff members were always friendly and courteous, and had excellent recommendations for shopping and restaurants. One hint is to ask for a room up on a higher floor, as our 4th floor room had views of a brick wall and a fire escape stairway. The bar and restaurant were cute and service was great. Unfortunately the hotel is dated, with stained carpet and furniture in the rooms, a bathtub drain that was very slow to drain, and missing and broken tile and grout in the bathroom. One issue that we had (and may not bother others) is the bed sheets were very “itchy”. I am not sure if it is due to the detergent they use, but we would wake up at 3:00 am scratching all over, and then could not get back to sleep. However, my biggest pet peeve was”the dirty spoon” that was on the breakfast bar. The room had a little breakfast bar with a sink, refrigerator, coffee maker, and cups and glasses. There was one spoon to use with coffee, but it was dirty when we arrived. Each morning I placed the spoon in a dirty glass, or dirty cup or even moved it into the room. But it always made its way back to the breakfast bar and was never cleaned. This became a running joke with our group and each day everyone wanted to know what happened to “Spoony”. I did mention this to the front desk and was told “sorry”. One morning we overheard a couple checking out and they were very vocal about the poor condition of their room (also their refrigerator did not work and they needed it for their medication) and they were comped at least one night. All in all this was a nice hotel, but you can do better in this area. Quite frankly, if it wasn’t such a hassle, we would have checked out and moved to another hotel.

Tolerance, hotel recommended by the company 🏨. Because we are a design department, we are more creative. It is really great that the headquarters recommended this design hotel! ! ! Environment: If you are a fashionista and a trendy person, this hotel is perfect for you! Most of the people staying here are young people. The whole hotel is very fashionable, with bright details and many small surprises. What impressed me the most was the infinite loop video in the elevator. It was really amazing. The top floor is a swimming pool and disco bar, where you can go and have fun at night when it’s very high! The soundproofing of the hotel is very good, don't worry Hygiene: The aisles are very bright and the lighting fixtures are well chosen. There was a slight musty smell in the room when we first entered it, which is acceptable in most hotels. Facilities: I have king size, but the room is not very big. But I love the interior design! There is an ottoman, long sofa and oval table, which is enough for two people to work and put on makeup. Special mention for his bed🛏! ! ! This is the one I will never forget the most since I have slept in so many hotels! ! Seems like I know what brand of mattress! It’s so comfortable! ! BTW the bathroom has shampoo, conditioner and shower gel, the brands are good. No toothbrush or toothpaste is provided, please bring your own. Foreigners are more concerned about environmental protection. Service: Breakfast is generally not provided, but room service is available. There are also two restaurants at the door where you can eat from morning to night. The food is good. Moreover, the neighborhood is the very fashionable Chelsea mkt, which is just two steps away and has everything you need for delicious food!

I was here on business and stayed at the Arthouse for four nights. Being born and raised in New York, I wanted to be in a hotel that felt more intimate, away from the hustle of New York. From the moment I walked in, the vibe was perfect. They have a great management team and staff, management consistently present in the lobby, greeting guests and making sure that things are running smoothly. There is a small, intimate bar that opens in the evening serving great cocktails. Service is genuine and on spot. Great location on the upper west side, on a side street - Sarafina's is off of the lobby serving delicious food, steps away from the lobby. Lobby is a great place to socialize or get some work done - beds are super comfortable and the room was very clean...really loved this property and will defnitely be back!

I was with my family at the hotel Beacon for about 10 days. They gave us a room which was not, because they were more locals with a kitchen, two double beds and a sofa bed with a chair. The staff was noted: Both cleaners(who perform their work in a great deal) and receptionists (who are very handy, very available). Discrete view of a NY area much quieter than the general: front is Fairway, open h24, very comfortable to buy any kind of needs and even Starbucks and a pharmacy. I would return absolutely because it was really an experience This is very positive.

First let me start by saying that I was contacted by the hotel for feedback following my stay. I asked via email and voicemail to have the General Manager give me a call and waited before writing this review. I asked the Director of Guest Services for follow up and still have not been contacted. Check in-We had a great experience at check with the front desk. The agent was efficient and friendly. She followed up with a phone call to the room to see that everything was ok which we appreciated. Room-The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was a little small. Housekeeping-At check in we were told to call before noon if we wanted housekeeping. We did call and were told that they could only pick up trash and bring clean towels. I know this has changed since the pandemic and we were fine with this. Bar and food- We did not receive any welcome drink or champagne so after we settled in we went to the bar for a drink and something to eat. We were told that there was a private event and that they could not accommodate us. After some push back the hostess said we could sit down for one drink but must be done in 20 minutes. I understand private events are lucrative but there should always be some space for guests to relax and get a drink after a long journey. Before arriving I had called the front desk and asked to speak to a concierge about reservations. I was told that all of the reservations for the restaurant and jazz club were made via Resy and that I should book them myself. There was no priority for guests and no concierge service to help. I never saw a concierge in the lobby during my 3 day stay. We had a great time at the jazz club and the host was wonderful. We coordinated the experience on our own with no help from the hotel. Noise-We were a little worried about the noise in this hotel as the rooms open to the bar area. Our room was on a high floor it was not that bad and the music shut down around 10:30 pm. They have installed a white noise devise that sounds like a broken air conditioner which was worse than the actual noise. There is some city noise as rooms are facing busy streets but that did not bother us. What did disturb us were the guests next us. You could hear the other guests late at night. Definitely a party hotel. Amenities- The web site states Wi-Fi is free which is great. There is a 34.95 dollar a night room charge. Not sure this is justified. We had no champagne greeting, were not able to enjoy the bar due to a private event, no bathrobes, and no priority at any of the restaurants or clubs. When I completed the guest survey the response I got was if I wanted a bathrobe I should ask for one. Booking- I booked this hotel directly via the hotel website. That was a mistake. After the first night we looked to change hotels. The hotel had rates much cheaper than we were paying on most all of the third party websites. We decided to stick it out and not hassle with a hotel move so

Harlem
New York

Me and Harlem go way back. Aloft Harlem used to be my go to hotel before I started staying more on the lower east side. In fact, a Marriott employee who used to work at Aloft directed me to this brand new, just opened hotel. I was excited to return to uptown and stay in this spot! I wanted to love this hotel. I don’t like giving lackluster reviews and feeling like a Karen. But over two nights, the transgressions just piled up. I’m a Marriott ambassador who stays in hotels about 240 nights a year. I never bring up my status. This might be the first time I actually uttered in frustration, “it’s September and I’ve already spent 27,000 dollars at these hotels, why is this so hard?” Upon checkin, it took almost an hour. This is even more frustrating because my first night was business and my company always sends a spending authorization. Two days in a row I checked with the hotel to see if they had received the authorization. They lost the first one. They mismanaged the second one. I always call or chat ahead to ensure a smooth checkin. It was still a mess when I arrived. The room was a “Central Park view.” I should have known better; I don’t know why I believed this title. I know New York geography better than that. I was looking into a building. Central Park facing or in the direction of Central Park shouldn’t be called central park view. I had changed from the city view to the Central Park view before arrival and I guess I’m glad I did because while they were trying to figure out my reservation they mentioned they had oversold the city view rooms. I will say the black out shades do a great job. The bed was fine. Sheets were a little co****. This hotel costs close to what a Moxy costs, so their sheets should be comparably smooth and comfortable. The bathroom was an absolute joke. Maybe not all the rooms are like mine, but mine may as well not have had a door. As you can see in my photos, the door is for “art.” There is a huge gap where you can see everything! Like probably 12 inches or greater of a gap! Who designed this and thought it was a great idea?! Glad I was alone. The air unit is SUPER loud. Doesn’t bother me as much since we usually have a fan on at home, but it was so loud that when it came on, I had to turn the TV up. It will likely bother some people. And you can hear everything through the walls. Oh, and the toilet clogged twice. And one of the days, the hot water was off all day for repairs, though that’s out of anyone’s control. It’s just giving context to a very un-relaxing stay. Back to the front desk mess—I later noted a destination fee on my bill (I had two separate bills because one night was business and one was personal). I don’t mind destination fees—I’ve had them at many Marriott properties. But I was never informed of this one. I even asked at the restaurant, and they had no idea. I finally went to the desk and asked and they explained I should have been given vouchers for each ni

Choice Hotels promotes the Ascend Hotel Collection as ”historic, boutique and one of a kind”. The L Hotel is in no way a “boutique”. Though not built that long ago, it is getting run down and has small rooms and limited facilities. It does have its advantages: comfotable beds, convenient location, reasonable prices for NYC, and free parking. But it has embassingly bad breakfasts that often run out of bagels and bread, leaving you to choose from bad muffins or limited cereal options. It feels like the operators are consciously underinvesting to take the most that they can out of the business. It's tolerable, but set your expectations before arriving.

My boyfriend and I have stayed at the Soho Grand many times throughout the last year, for both business and personal trips. One of the best parts of our trip each time is the experience we received at checkin with Barrington- this is going all the back prior to May. We were coming up to New York weekly for work and Barrington made our weekly experience amazing. There were several Sundays I was not looking forward to traveling back to New York again, but once we arrived to his welcome and greeting, it genuinely made our day better. We looked forward to seeing him every week - he was nothing but delightful! Fast forward to today - my boyfriend is in New York alone, I am traveling in a different city for work, and I wanted to send him something special when her arrived back to his room tonight. Of course I called Barrington and he, without hesitation, helped me get some dessert and a note sent to his room. He truly makes us feel like family.

Hotel location is good, near Times Square, not far from the Empire State Building. I charged another $ 87 for two days, and Ctrip reminded me of $ 40 a day, which is estimated to have risen again. That adds up to almost $ 200 a day.

Great location for a person seeking the heart of Times Square. There are various levels of rooms so don’t be offended if you don’t book a city view and then get a window with a view of a building. The entrance was decent, yet for a W hotel, I never saw a doorman on site. We never had staff assist us with our bags either. The initial impression after the primary door is decent. They turned it into an sort of underwater experience. With this being said the four nights we stayed there I also never once saw a security guard as you first enter leaving a bit of safety concerns up for grabs. From there you have to catch an elevator up to the main lobby which is nicely decorated. Upon checking in don’t expect to be greeted with a smile (even if you have rank as a bonvoy member). Just get your key and go. As for the room the overall appearance is dependent upon the level of room you choose, so to be impartial I won’t give my opinion on the rooms. I will though, continue to comment on the lackluster service as that aspect should be stellar across the board. Upon asking for recommendations for the city we were handed a crumbled, partially torn paper with a generous number of locations, no additional information was provided by the staff. The night before checking out I found myself in need of a razor. I called guest services and they advised they’d be able to provide one. 40 minutes had passed and still no razor. After burning much time just waiting, I decided it would probably be faster for me to walk to CVS buy one and come back (which it was). Again, I mention the location is prime Times Square making every item the hotel forgets to bring you, easily found and easily accessible by foot. The cocktails at the “Living Room” bar are horrible. They range from $20-25 per cocktail and if you light a cigarette near it, you’ll probably catch on fire from the amount of unshaken liquor in the glass. A heavy pour isn’t always a good pour especially when you’re looking to actually be able to walk the city. We have the living room bar 3 tries before deciding to just have our first set of cocktails outside of the establishment. A benefit is that the W gives you $25 to spend at the bar daily with your $25 resort fee. For the first time in my life free wasn’t actually better. I really would love a call from someone at the establishment as I am certain the experiences my wife and I dealt with are not the “norm”. Overall, do not recommend. I would recommend The NY Marriott Marquis.

The bed was very comfortable, the booking was a wonderful room, a big bed, and the front desk was kind enough to ask if you would have an extra bed. There is a supermarket next to it, you can buy something very late. I received 100 dollars of dollars and returned to it in three days.
