|0.6km from city centerThis is the first hostel where I stayed that hasn't tried to cramp in as many beds as possible in one room. Hence, the rooms are very spacious and very comfortable. They have at least two bathrooms and one toilet. Everything is kept very clean, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the hostel has a very nice location.
Thank you for making my stay in M****ille pleasurable.

|8.5km from city centerI usually get up late without booking breakfast; free parking; walk to the supermarket within a few minutes to solve the problem of eating and drinking (borrow hotel microwave oven); there is a gas station nearby, and there is a KFC within ten minutes of walking; choose to stay because of the cost-effectiveness, and drive to the city It takes 20 minutes. I drove the car to the public free parking lot at the Metro Terminal near the Marseille Stadium, and then took the Metro to the Old Port of Marseille. There is no hair dryer in the room, and the smell of the corridors I don’t know how to appreciate...

|0.97km from city centerAlthough our stay was fine, we had a very bad experience. My brother-in-law forgot his tablet in his room. He had left it on the floor near the wall and in the morning upon drawing the curtains open the tablet was hidden behind so he didn't see it. Arriving in our next hotel destination (Villeneuve-Loubet) he realized the tablet was left in Toyoko-Inn. He immediately called the hotel and the security guy told him no tablet was found. He went to personally check the room that happened to be empty as no guest was in that room that night. He then told my brother-in-law he didn't find anything. We called the hotel again the following day and we got the same answer. We sent an e-mail to the hotel manager only to get the same answer. Since there was no other guest in that room it seems that only people from the hotel entered it. We can not believe a tablet can vanish without a human intervention so we suspect that somebody from the hotel found it but didn't deliver it to the reception. This matter ruined the remaining days of our vacation and left a bitter taste in our mouths. I sent a complaint to the Tourism Office in M****illes but they couldn't answer me as they are on public holidays! So, if you stay in that hotel double and triple check your room before you leave because if something valuable is forgotten it's more than certain it won't be recovered or compensated.

|1.48km from city centerIt is with immense satisfaction and tremendous felicitation to all the managing staff at Goldentulip Euromed-M****ille. I would wish to extend my very special heartfelt thanks to Ms Celine, Ms Taina, and Mr. Saintiago. The tremendously competent lady: Ms. Celine. She is really a GTS: Géniale, Top, et Super. Ms. Taina is an always helpful lady with a special welcoming smile that makes feel more than at home. Mr. Saintiago is a man of solutions. He never tells you about the difficulties. For him, there is always a solution for the customers when a whatsoever problem happens. Thanks to you three, and to all the staff working with you, Goldentulip Euromed-M****ille has become a place for everything and everything in place. In a word: You are the best. 👍. I wrote this review after more than ten stays in this exceptional hotel to say that buildings become alive with the working staff that are managing them. I have tried three other nearby hotels, and it is a mistake to even think of comparing Goldentulip Euromed-M****ille to them. You cannot compare the incomparable!!

|0.53km from city centerReally nice! I loved how you can have your own space by closing the curtain. The beds didn't make any noise or movements when you climb into the upper bed. Maybe a small improvement: sign for where the reception/checkin is or some arrows. Overall had a nice stay, very cozy place and clean and good working services

|2.81km from city centerI don't recommend. Some reception staff are quite cold and the quality of the facilities leaves something to be desired or even no longer works (toilet, bathroom, ironing board, studio entrance door, safe, etc.). Additionally a strong smell of spicy cooking was persistent every evening. And finally we can wonder if it is really relevant to put the air conditioning into maintenance in May... All this for €157 per studio on the 4th night, while the first 3 were €82.... Incomprehensible and frankly: could do better.

|1.36km from city centerStayed here for six nights. The room was spacious and clean with plenty of space for three people. Beds were comfortable and the balcony was a bonus. Nice for having our evening drinks. The only thing We found confusing was why leave tea and coffee but only small paper cups, a microwave but no plates or cutlery and water but no glasses? We rang reception and they gave us all of the aforementioned items. So all is forgiven.

The room is in line with the ad, but it remains a little bit. The negative point for me, being the shower, I had to curved to take it because for large people, we don't pass inside (198cm). Unfortunately, there were many people that did not think of other travelers, shouting the doors and talking very late in the night.

|0.74km from city centerIn a professional trip, I chose this hotel for its ideal rental next to the Joliettes Square and just a few steps from the Mucem. As a single person, they gave me a small room with a single bed so small that it was difficult to put his bag. I asked to change of room, and since the hotel was complete, I was given with supplement a room of category superior ... but superior than the name. The bathroom was large but with a small shower cabin and the hair dryer stopped after 30 secs because it was overheating. The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable, but it is very good to have a good breakfast, even if it is a bad thing that the fruit juice was not available.

|0.76km from city centerHad my second stay here, this time in a lovely top floor room with views out across the city towards Notre Dame. Huge LG TV, lovely Nuxe toiletries, monsoon shower, and excellent housekeeping - everything spotless. Good North-African themed tapas in the hotel restaurant, and the guy in charge there was particularly helpful/friendly, recommending which bits of the city had good street art when I mentioned that was one of the main reasons I came to M****ille (Cours Julien fyi, which also has some fab cafes and vintage shops). My only gripe was the handling of the bill (as follows). My debit card was pre-authorised on arrival (and in excess of the actual cost of the room, but I assumed this to be an additional security deposit or similar, do didn't really feel too concerned at the time). When it came to checkout, it was agreed that we would let the pre-authorised amount stand, and I would be refunded the difference between that and the actual, final bill. However, when I checked my bank balance 3 days later I was shocked to find that I'd been billed for the full amount again, and the pre-authorised amount had not been released - so essentially I'd been charged twice (or twice and a bit, when you allow for the fact the first billing was an over-estimate anyway). This follows on from a cancelled pre-paid booking the previous year (due to Covid restrictions) that was supposed to be fully refundable, which I also really struggled to get back (it was eventually repaid but quite belatedly). So, I'm not saying don't stay here, because it is a really nice hotel in a very vibrant area (lots of cafes with fab Oriental pastries, markets etc) but you will really need to be on top of the financial side of things to ensure you aren't left out of pocket.

|0.6km from city centerIt is within walking distance of all major attractions and is fully equipped and convenient. have to be aware of is: 1. The location marked in the room and the check-in are not the same location, but on the back of Rue Vacon Street. See the drawing, I hope that the next time Ctrip can make a note, although it is the listing of booking. 2. We live on the second floor, 2nd floor, actually the third floor. If there is no elevator, the weight of the baggage needs to be considered. 3. Regarding parking, there is one next to the hotel, which is very convenient. The guide is 15 Euros a night. This depends on the specific time period. From the drawing, everyone can understand the parking rate. We stopped for about 22 hours on the first day, and paid the top 31.7 euros. The next day is 9:00 in the morning. Leave and pay about 22 euros. 4. Regarding the pre-authorization deduction, they usually return at 4 pm on the day of departure, plus the bank's operating time, it may take 2-3 days to arrive. We are showing pictures of the check-out, I hope to return immediately. The staff asked if the room had extra consumption and immediately retired.

|0.6km from city centerWe visited here in July for the Grand Prix so we just needed a base for 2 adults. This place had 24hr check in and was a 10min walk to the train station so it ticked those boxes! There is security on the door at night as the hotel is in a rough part of town but within a 5min walk, you are close to the Port which is gorgeous so it's a good location for exploring. The room was large and cool with a balcony, there was a definite smell from the drains so if you're sensitive to smells then it might not be the one for you but the kitchenette is large and well stocked with a Nespresso so that was nice. They provide a breakfast board for 9 euros which covered all the bases and the staff was friendly and helpful. The beds were comfy and you get a balcony (it overlooks some apartments but it's nice to have somewhere to hang wet towels etc). I'd recommend staying here if you're looking for a base to eat/sleep. It's not luxury but it had everything we needed for a short stay in 38c heat!

|3.34km from city centerThe hotel was quiet (provided your window closes well...), But the darkening curtains were old, and see through. They really provide the minimum Accor benefits for a gold/platinum/diamond member. No way to get a welcome drink for the two occupants of the room, and no gift as a benefit. Moreover it is the only hotel in the town that does not participate in the free breakfast at weekend benefit. Please take that into account. It is not advertised anywhere and we were told that we had to check it for ourselves on Accor website. The hotel takes a lot of advantages by using the name Mercure and attracts status members but they do not take this responsibility seriously and give the benefits as they see fit. The customer is not in a position to negotiate what benefits they want, so why is it so easy for a hotel to opt out?

|3.39km from city centerMy partner and I are staying in this hotel tonight (17Sep) The good. New hotel, feels clean and fresh. Nice airy lobby / reception area. Small pool but clean and inviting. Really friendly staff, I’ve asked for slippers and bucket of ice, delivered to our room within minutes with a smile. Thank you🌸 Underground car park, very convenient, but expensive. Bad: Our room ( no 814) has a very strange layout. The bathroom is “split” in half. Toilet is located separately by the door and the other “part of the bathroom” sink and shower is located on the other side of the room. Separate toilet has NO sink, so every time we use toilet we have to walk to the other side of the room to wash hands - unpractical, illogical and dead annoying. Very limited room service menu, very few dishes, no wine, no champi. The area - really dirty, rubbish on the street, noise from nearby apartment blocks. All in all - okay’ish for 1-2 nights not longer.

|0.27km from city centerMy husband and I stayed for one night at this hotel. You can't check in until 3pm, no matter what - even if your flight arrives at 9am in the morning, so be aware that they will need to hold your bags if you wish to drop them off. Staff was very friendly, but right at 3pm, everyone arrives to check in and the wait can take a little time. Our room was pretty small, but had a little kitchen area and a decent sized bathroom. The bed was fairly comfortable and the view was basically of a run-down apartment building in the back of the property (depressing). We fortunately had a good nights rest with very little noise. There's a Nespresso machine in the room and you can buy pods at the front desk. The location is walkable to many tourist shops and restaurants right in Old Port. The room appeared to be clean, but a bit run down. I would suggest a one night's stay if needed, but to stay longer might cramp your style if you wish for something a bit more roomy and charming. Overall, good stay and a good place for walking around Old Port and surrounding neighborhoods.

|0.56km from city centerWe arrived near midnight and had a bad time at reception. One of us hadn't paid, another was doubly charged and not one of the three of us had our key card sorted so we all had to get back to reception to fix this. Fortunately the rooms were all lovely, other staff were great, especially Meahdi, who was SO patient. The lift - is antique. It only works if you close the inner door properly and many guests do not. So if you are on the 5th floor like we were... The bar is alcohol free... more a lounge but we were able to take our own wine in and glasses were happily provided. The breakfast is amazing! Lovely coffee, great people looking after you and lots of choice.

|0.96km from city centerI have had a really good experience through all my stays at Greet Hotel. It is close to St Charles TGV station, which is handy as I always arrive in MRS late with luggage. The staff is ”sympa”, and trustable. I once had forgotten my wallet at the reception, and I got a phone call a few minutes later inviting me to come and get it. Rare in MRS. The manager is a nice lady who clearly makes sure that her guests are all settled nicely. ”My” room, always the same so far, faces the courtyard, so no traffic noise, and barely any noise at all. The bed is huge, so is the TV screen. There's a nice character desk where I like to work or email on in the evenings. Brekky is takeaway with the option to bring it back to our rooms. It's quite nice considering the COVID measures. The bathroom is big too. And there are plenty of pigeonholes to put your various effects in. There is a Le Vélo bay next door, which makes it easy to go anywhere for... EUR 1 a week! MRS is mostly sunny throughout the year, so you can just consider riding to anywhere. No mask needed when riding, BTW. For my next, regular, biz trips to MRS, I'm not looking any further. The perk of this hotel, for me, is clearly the reading corners in the foyer, boasting an ecclectic choice. I make a point reading a few pages everytime I go.
