Can only say that in general, we drove, so there is no feeling in the location, there is no parking lot, we are parked in a limited time parking space, limited time 30 minutes, we put a night, but the Italian traffic police basically have no So I didn't receive the ticket, but I recommend it to be careful. The loss is very big. Hotel facilities are very general, the door is exposed, basically equivalent to domestic home, 7 days, the house is not big, but the breakfast is very good, drive to Venice airport for ten minutes, if it is for the next day to catch the plane It’s okay to stay temporarily, after all, the price is already very cheap, and bring breakfast~

Overall it is good, in several ways. 1. The traffic is fairly convenient, especially suitable for self-driving trips. There is a Sichuan restaurant in 8 minutes by car, which is delicious and cheap. Our five talents are 88 Euros. We have a poker ****** in 10 minutes by car. This is our poker hobby. The gospel of the winner, I won hundreds of euros last night. 2. The internal and external environment of the hotel is good, the hotel bed is very clean 3. The hotel is an old castle, so it will feel a bit old but it is definitely acceptable. And there is no breakfast, breakfast is 16 euros alone per person

I will start with the only real negative....BREAKFAST. Waiter/waitress places a plate with 2 mini baguettes, 4 mini Italian toast pieces, 2 croissants and 2 pots of yoghurt on your table between 2, with butter and spreads. And juice/ hot drinks available on request. Therefore if you like bread 👍 but there was no cereal, fruit, cheese, ham etc. And no self service. Car spaces were limited and staff requested us leave the keys in the car to ensure nobody gets blocked in. We were not keen and as a result we were blocked in (as I guess other guests were also not keen on this idea) the night before our early morning flight. We rang the number at reception and the gentleman reported that he would try and sort it. We did not hear back therefore we slept poorly, but when we awoke the car was no longer blocking us in. It would have been nice if we were informed either way that night. Rooms dated but clean and bathroom clean and modern. Brilliant transport links to Venice via tram, which was literally around the corner.

The 3-star family led hotel boasts a great location and very good breakfast. The choice there was very good incl. fresh fruits. The room was big for us as a family there was more space than expected. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Rooms were pikkobello clean. Free, ultra-fast in-room internet. The hotel is beautifully located in the centre of Mestre, with the city just 200 m away. The city center can be easily reached on foot in 2-3 minutes. Value for money was great. Many possibilities to visit interesting places from the hotel. Hotel has free parking right outside the door on the property. Again and again I would like to recommend this hotel!

I don’t like to write bad reviews and there’s almost no point as everything I want to say has already been posted. However, I wanted to give an honest review and put my two pence in. We got this hotel as part of the wowcher £99 holiday deal (flights and 2 nights accommodation). To be honest, I can’t complain for the price we paid and online it looks between £30-37 a night. We were hardly there as we were out all day so it was doable but it wasn’t pleasant. Rooms are less than basic, very old, bit grubby. Bathroom was usable but I hesitated to shower, needs regrouting. Our room stank of cigarette smoke and toilet cleaner, it was vile. The smell had vanished by the second night though thankfully. Beds were quite firm but we both had good nights sleep! Bus stop right outside tickets €1.50 to get to Venice, have to change buses once takes about 25 mins. We didn’t scan our tickets once and weren’t stopped so you might get away with not paying. Buses outside the hotel don’t run past 11pm ish so you have to get a bus further away and walk. Lidl just down the road, very handy. I feel bad writing a bad review because the staff were so lovely, but I have a feeling they know the state of the hotel and are maybe waiting for it to fold or for someone to buy in and do it up? Who knows. I can’t say I’d stay here again out of choice BUT it was such good value, if we were given this hotel or similar through another wowcher deal I’d cope!

I like it very much and I have recommended it to my friends. The outside of the hotel is very well-maintained, the facilities are very good, there is a very good smell in the air, the service staff is very warm, the breakfast is simple, but it is very particular, and finally eat hot bread. The palatial feel of the room decoration. The wall covering of the full house. Specially designed for Italian decoration. The single room that was occupied on the National Day, more than 800, the price is good. I also came across a wedding photo with a good mood.

We had an amazing stay at the Santa Croce Bouitique hotel! The hotel is right in the middle of Venice, but slightly off the beaten track, so you are steps away from all the highlights yet not in the middle of the tourist crowds, and also has a wonderful private courtyard where you can relax after a busy day of sightseeing. It is a 6 minute walk from the airport water taxi and only 3 minutes from a vaporetto water bus stop (Canal Grande route). These are, of course, exceptional times, and the staff was excellent in working with us as our travel dates changed due to changing corona rules in Europe (thank you Luca!). The hotel also has taken thorough Covid safety and hygiene measures. throughout the property. The breakfast buffet had been replaced with an a-la-care -service that was at least as plentiful. Guests were asked to indicate their preferred breakfast time the evening before, to ensure that social distancing rules in the restaurant were adhered to. Our room was fantastic (the website pictures are accurate), the bathroom appeared to be brand new and also featured a steam bath. The staff did everything to make our stay perfect, including special sight seeing tips from the Manager Elisabetta. To the whole Santa Croce team, thank you for making this a perfect stay. We look forward to being back!

My work gives me the opportunity to visit hotels all over the world, and I am often staying in 4 or 5 stars business, executive or anyhow luxury hotel. I have seen spots in all Europe that you would not even guess, but this one, this one takes the cake. There is only one word to describe this hotel, and that is: perfect. Location, tranquillity, freedom, cleanness, hospitality, friendliness, relax, good music, top notch breakfast. Name it, they have it. Classy, but not pretentious. Elegant, but not intimidating, close to the station, but not in the middle of the most chaotic street. It’s a pain to leave. Would suggest this hotel a millions of times, and I repeat, I have stayed in the best of London, Cannes, Hamburg... it does not matter. This is where I would stay if I had to go back to Venice. Honestly, this is where I will stay every time I have to go back to Venice, and that’s it. The service is great, the people have an outstanding sense of professionalism and hospitality, the sestiere is beautifully suspended in time. Breakfast is rich and the quality is high. There’s for sure a lot of awesomeness in Venice, and all was worth, but this was like being a guest at a noble house in the Serenissima time. So priceless. 5 stars for everything

We loved the hotel Mezzo Pozzo. Don't be put off by it's 2 stars; we thought it deserved three! The hotel is in an old Venetian Palace so very oldy worldy, but oh so charming. Matteo on the front desk was lovely and gave us all the info we needed during out stay. The triple room we booked was spacious with ensuite bathroom, great A/C and wifi. Old fashioned deco but perfect at the same time. An amazing breakfast was served in our room each morning. Excellent contintental breakfast with tea or coffee or hot chocolate, orange juice, yoghurts, croissants, breads, biscottes, jam and spreads, a really generous selection. The hotel is perfectly located near th Ca d'Oro vaporetto stop, 5 mins on foot to Rialto Bridge and 10/15 mins on foot to St Mark's square. It's in a tiny narrow street so very quiet but just off the bustling Strada Nova. It couldn't have been in a better spot!

My boyfriend and I stayed for 5 nights in September after originally booking our trip for May which was postponed due to COVID! Valentina couldn't have been more accommodating when rearranging our trip at short notice. The hotel is in a fantastic location, only 5 mins from Rialto Bridge and St Marks Square! Breakfast was included and was a great way to start to the day. It consisted of fresh croissants, bread and jam for toast, kiwi, eggs, yoghurt, fruit juice, water and a hot drink of your choice. The room was clean, had air conditioning and the bed comfy, what more could you need! Tea and coffee facilities were in the room. Thank you Valentina for a fantastic stay! We had a wonderful stay at the family owned and run American Denisen. Alberto and his staff were very attentive and always happy to help with anything we needed. Our room was a 'Deluxe Room' in the next door building called 'the Dependance'. It was a superb lofted room with bedroom upstairs and we stepped straight out onto the beautiful canal outside, immersing ourselves immediately in everything amazing about this incredible city. The hotel location is fabulous, close enough to be a walk from the action but nicely tucked away as well so it was easy to avoid the maddening crowds. Our apartment was very centrally located, although it took us a while to find it because the GPS signal kept dropping out of our phones and trying to get up and down steps with our suitcases wasn't funny. We were dismayed to see that we had to carry them up a steep flight of stairs to the apartment but at least we were on the first floor and not the top one. Although it was a bit dark and gloomy, it was well-appointed and would be ideal for a family as there was a twin room which would have suited 2 children, as well as a cot in the double room. There was also a washing machine which was very useful after being on the road for a bit. However, I was staggered that there was no iron so although we could wash our clothes, we couldn't iron them. They'd provided a little ironing board but presumably that was for use with a travel iron which we didn't have. There were cooking facilities but I can't comment on them as we didn't use them. The toilet cistern leaked a bit which meant there was a constant trickling noise coming from the bathroom but the shower was very good. There was a TV in the double bedroom and the living room. I did feel a little spooked-out though by the absence of any staff. They left information on the table for you which said if you needed anything to ring but when I rang I could hear a phone ringing somewhere in the building but no one answered. We finally saw a woman on the day we left, who had come to service one of the other apartments. She was friendly and spoke good English.

Just back from a 4-night stay at Hotel Kette. The superior room was perfect; a King bed and best of all two beautiful windows looking out onto a canal and the wonderful rooftops of Venice. Lovely bathroom with every facility. Breakfast included and what a breakfast! Muesli, Granola, prepared fresh fruit on your table, yoghurt, croissants and other bread items to choose from plus individual preserves. Cooked breakfast as well - but we had no room left for that. The staff are lovely and always happy to help. Room service every day was excellent. The interior of the hotel is very beautiful with marble floors everywhere in the traditional Venetian style. Apart from the excellent reception area there are well appointed ground floor rooms for meetings including computer facilities, and others for simply resting. The hotel is tucked just off Calle Larga a short walk from St. Mark's Square and with gorgeous shops, at least for looking at!! For our departure to Marco Polo we treated ourselves to a superb Water Taxi which was great. We love Venice and we always choose this hotel - what more can we say! From Mr. & Mrs. J.A. Merrett

We stayed here with a family of five with teenage children. It was beautiful, spacious, warm, well maintained and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything including the essential coffee pot! The apartment was well located for everything, except the train station is a bit of a walk. Took us 30 mins early morning. There is a little shop just behind with the essentials and plenty of other shopping options nearby. St marks square is 6 mins walk. Our hostess was friendly and helpful and we were able to use the washer and dryer downstairs, which was much needed. Would definitely recommend staying here with your family. Tip; if you are coming here , be patient with the floods, find a coffee shop or stay somewhere dry until the water subsides. Thanks for the great stay.

I give this special little hotel full marks as it clearly ticks all the boxes! For starters, the location is unbeatable - oh the joys of getting up at the crack of dawn to step outside to St Marks square not even three minutes away to watch the sunrise....with not another tourist in sight!! The ten days we spent at this well priced hotel were the best - both Alvise and Luca were the nicest hosts possible and we know that we will definitely return because they made our stay so enjoyable. The rooms have incredibly comfortable beds and our spacious bathroom daily cleaned with fresh towels and soaps. The best was waking up to what was quite simply the best cup of coffee as each room is equipped with its own coffee machine with the most excellent italian coffee specially supplied to the hotel. There were cafes very close by but we never felt the need to go out for breakfast as we could keep all the ham and cheese we wanted in the room's fridge. Of course this was such a central location - but even though our big room faced one of the most famous and busy shopping streets in Venice we were never disturbed by the noise - that one was close to just about everything. We were able to get to all the museums early before the crowds and best was when Venice emptied in the evening and we had the place pretty much all to ourselves and its inhabitants which was quite special. Getting from marco polo airport was so smooth as we just hopped into the Alilaguna airport water shuttle taxi and was at St Marks in an hour - perfect! no time wasted at all. These italians think of everything! Dear Alvise and Luca, you looked after us so well, we shall be back very soon indeed!

What a quaint little family hotel in such a convenient spot. We took the water bus straight from the airport over to Venice, landing at S. Zaccaria and taking a very short walk thru a lane to the Hotel. The manager/ part owner so helpful and friendly, though only a few days earlier his grandmother/ the founder of the hotel had passed away. We felt much apart of the family when watching soccer with the brothers in the comfy bar area. breakfast was included and quite delicious. The building was once a Nunnery and has a small garden at the back and roof top terrace.Very clean and tidy room though small. Extremely close to everything, restaurants and San Marco Square. Venice is a very easy place to get around as long as you cope with the cobblestone paths. Bathroom clean and sufficient with personal supplies. No tea or coffee facilities but the small bar area is open 24/7. Also has a lift. Would definitely return, and hopefully very soon!

We visited the city of Venice for three nights deciding to stay at this property due to a Hotels.com deal. One day before arrival I was informed that due to a problem with the booked room , we would be upgraded to a corner suite with canal view. Check in was efficient and easy the directions were clear and good and the gentlemen who met me at the agreed meeting point was so polite and helpful. The room was big well presented and very clean. The bed was very big and very comfortable. The heating and hot water efficient and worked well. The rate includes a small breakfast in a lovely lounge area just outside the bedrooms. Also there is a coffee machine and water in the lounge for guests use 24hrs. The location is excellent about a 10/15 walk from the bus and train station that is well signed and very easy . You can use the water bus too if you have more luggage. The Grand Canal and Rialto Bridge are a few minutes walk away too. So the location is excellent with good shops supermarket and restaurants all nearby. AMAZING 5 weeks travelling Europe and this was without doubt our best find! Gorgeous room with 2 rooms so our kids had their own area... Postcard perfect view from the beautiful terrace... literally this is the view you get! Although it looks like a distance to travel it was super easy with the online directions ... took about 40 mins on the water bus from the train station. It worked perfectly to do the distance first then we were so close to everything we could pop back when we needed. The lovely lady (so sorry can’t remember your name) let us in early with our bags before suggesting an itinerary for the day which was PERFECT to see all the sights. Breakfast was beautifully presented with plenty of good coffee. Would pay double to stay here again and without doubt sending everyone we know coming to Venice .... worried we won’t get a room next time we visit as this little gem should be booked out years in advance! Thanks so literally the best stop on our travels thanks to making hospitality .... see you soon!

A very positive experience. I only confirmed the room one day in advance, in the middle of August and I got a single room at a price of a hostel accommodation in a mixed dorm room. A very pleasant surprise. The hotel is, indeed, placed on island however, it is still a perfect choice for travellers with luggage (its much easier to carry the suitcases on board of vaporetto and then to the island than accross tens od bridges in the city). In addition, if you intend to stay in Venice for at least one day, you will buy a daily (or longer) ticket for vaporetto so, going to the hotel on San Servolo will not be an additional cost. The island is amazing, with views of Venice and San giorgio Maggiore on one side, and Lido on the other side. The rooms are comfortable, extremely clean with comfy toilette and all that you might need (even complimentary packages containing nail boards and cotton swabs and a nail file which is lovely gesture which you can usually see only in 4+ hotels). I didn't stay for breakfast so, I don't have and impressions about food and the restaurant but, all and all, the receptionists and bar workers were extremely pleasant and helpful. I would surely recommend it.

Wow! What a great experience! This was our first stop on our family vacation (with a large group), and this place AND the people were absolutely amazing. Upon arrival, our rooms were available for us to get checked in (and this was a blessing given the long flight we had just had!). Check in process was effortless, and details on how to navigate the hotel was very clear. When we were shown to our rooms we were blown away with the beautiful layout and decor. Each room had a very clean and luxurious feel to it…and on top of it all super comfortable! The rooms are very spacious, 2 bathrooms, two bedrooms and even a dining area + kitchenette. Also, the views from each room are wonderful...opening the window you are overlooking the canals. It was the perfect home away from home! Every need you had was met perfectly. Each morning we decided to have breakfast in the garden area (or you could choose to have breakfast delivered to your room)…but with the beautiful weather…dining outside was a no brainer! Breakfast was a beautiful experience as well…served in courses, it was an incredible start to the day and presentation was simply impeccable. Oh yea! And there was even a happy hour in the garden in the evenings with snacks/wine! I can’t say enough about how helpful the staff was here at the hotel (anything from arranging transportation, setting up tours, giving us ‘must see’s’ in Venice, etc.). Literally, this was a Home away from Home! I’ve never felt more comfortable in a hotel as I did here at Madama Garden Retreat. Don’t miss out on this experience on your next trip to Venice!!! Take it to P Roma around 30 mins and the. Take either number 1 or 4.2 to Arsenale. No1 is very slow as it stops in very stop on the route in grand canal but when u come here for first time view around the city will amaze u so number 1 is not a bad ride. No big names on Door to hotel but not difficult to locate. Trick is take one bridge toward north.. before u reach other bridge is on left hand side. After the last eatery. Breakfast is excellent and room is really great. Giampaolo and girls were great. Full marks on hospitality. Great location.. and good B&B Points to note.. 1) Closest station is Arsenale. 2) The property is not manned 24 hours so read the instructions from host. 3) No clear names but not hard to locate. 4) need to resister and pay city tax before departure 5) great location as base to travel around. 6) many will places to eat around the alley.. specially Verdict - value for the monies , great location..

In the heart of Venice, a few minutes walk from St. Mark's Square, a few steps from the famous street, the surrounding is quite lively, next to the famous Phoenix Opera House. By the river, the hotel still depends on physical strength. The train station will take the No. 2 passenger ship to Riadto. It will take ten minutes. The road is not far away. The key is the stone road. There are several bridges. Can not eat, not bad money recommended to sit on the water rental, you can send directly. The houses in Venice are very old. This house has been renovated. It feels good to just enter the lobby. The place is small and exquisite. The room is on the 2nd floor. I feel that our room is in a poor position. One is facing the light well, one is facing the road. The whole room is still big. The facilities and pictures are quite different. The furniture is worn out, the layout is uncomfortable, and there are hair on the pillow. There is no water in the room and there is no kettle. In the atrium on the second floor, there is a table with water and a kettle for public use. In the afternoon, there is no water. It is not added at night. Many cups are covered with tea scales. In the kettle, I don’t know how to clean them. In the evening, the waiter on duty went upstairs to see it, and didn't pack it up. The private small hall, management is really a problem, which is why I prefer chain hotels. Breakfast is also on the second floor, the food level is rubbish, the type is small, the bread is all supermarket goods with additives, the scrambled eggs are like boiled, the coffee has a burning taste, and the next day, give up directly, not as much as Sleeping. Perhaps it is the weekend, the price of nearly 2,000 thousand, the standard is not flattering, I see only a few hundred on weekdays, in fact, it is worth at most

The room is relatively small, the shower room is also very small, and the lower body will hit the faucet. When you close it, you can give the key to the front desk. The key is too heavy. It is not convenient to carry it. But when you come back, you can take the key. If you report the room number, you will not verify it. The key to the room then said that I said the wrong breakfast is 8 o'clock in the evening, there is no good place to sit and wait for the coffee to line up.

Venice City Center
It is ideally located a few minutes walk from the Rialto Bridge and the pier leading to Marco Polo International Airport, close to the main attractions of the city. Breakfast is acceptable, although there are not many types, but it can still meet the general requirements, especially recommended hot milk from the coffee machine. The rooms are small, especially the bathroom, and the furnishings are old, but the service is in place and the sanitation is acceptable. The restaurant that comes with the hotel can be tried, the taste and price are good, and the tenants can also discount.

Everything is good, the location is quite good, there are boats to go out at the door, and live in a quiet place, no special noise at night. The only fly in the ointment is that the room is arranged on the first floor. The room next to the bar is a bit strange, but overall it is good! And the hotel restaurant is recommended by Michelin! Great
