I was annoyed with this order and Ctrip many times before departure, and I have already called the complaint. When the reservation is made, it is clearly stipulated that it can be revoked, and the result is unrepeatable. In less than 24 hours, I found this and immediately called the customer service to cancel the order, because the friend’s signing was not made yet. If it didn’t pass, the money was wasted. Can't agree to cancel the reservation. Everyone is booking at Ctrip, and be careful to check carefully before paying to avoid pits. I had already set 2 rooms at the time of booking, generated an order, and then entered from the order button of the order again. The price changed, the room type changed, and the conditions for cancellation were changed. It is. Because it was very late at that time, people were also tired. When they finished, they went straight to sleep, and the result was tragedy. Please learn from it. Later, Xin’s friends passed the signing and passed, but fortunately. But the standard room has become a suite, and the price is also a lot more expensive. Booking at Ctrip is an individual effort and eyesight, and you must be sure to stay awake and look at it several times.

This is a historical suggestion. The room is small and the traffic is very convenient. There is no fixed parking place, but it should be easy to find a parking space after going out at night. Appreciation is history. There are not many facilities but it feels enough. It's more important to bring pets, which is good for my fur children.

There was a supermarket nearby, and the kitchen could be used, so it was nice to cook. The mattress is not good enough for the bed. The room was cold. It is a pity that there was no locker to hold large luggage. The staff are friendly and helpful. Towels and hair dryers were lent out. There was no problem with Wi-Fi.

We stayed at Auberge Le Pomerol during our first visit to Montreal and it was the perfect home-base for our trip. The location is DIRECTLY across from a subway station which was perfect for us, but not noisey. It was nearby many food and entertainment options. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast which is left outside your door each morning (breakfast in bed!!!) and includes breads, fruits, juice and yogurts. We got a basement room with a great scenic "window". It allowed us to get great sleep and enjoy the city. The bi-lingual staff was friendly and helpful. Very clean!

The hotel is located in the city center, there are many roads nearby, and parking is not convenient. I went around a large circle for the first time, and then asked the hotel front desk to park for you. The room is relatively comfortable, the bedding is good, and European style. Breakfast costs more than 20 Canadian dollars per person, not too many varieties.

Plateau Mont Royal
I loved my stay at Gite du Plateau Mont-Royal! I should preface with the fact that I stayed in a private bedroom with a shared bathroom, which I imagine is different than the experience in a shared dorm. Anywho, my room was everything I needed. Plenty of room, it’s own sink and mirror, and a desk with drawers. It had a fan that worked shockingly well considering it was midsummer and reasonably hot during my stay. I slept comfortably each night. The bathrooms are shared but not like a locker room. each shower and toilet is private with own door. I honestly never had to wait for a shower or a toilet at any time. The WiFi was decent. Enough to text or search google maps. They have an awesome rooftop and on a Friday night had a BBQ with live music and a little bar with beers and wine and they were grilling up burgers. Lots of fun. The pancake breakfast is wonderful. In my opinion it is everything you could need - coffee, juice, pancakes, fruit, yogurt, toast. The hostel is very centrally located. It’s one minute to the 24 Bus which goes up and down Sherbrooke and 5 min to the MetroStation which will pretty much get you anywhere in Montréal. The staff is so super friendly and welcoming as soon as you walk in. I felt really comfortable right from when I checked in. I would def recommend this to any travelers alone or otherwise. Particularly the private rooms. Thank you Gite du Plateau Mont-Royal!!!

The overall feeling of the room is relatively small, if the baggage is more nervous. The environment is OK, across the road is a supermarket, shopping is very convenient. The location of the hotel is not too good, far from the city, it is more difficult to eat at night. There are very few early choices, there is almost nothing to eat, and it is the same every day. The service is ok, the front desk has a domestic past, she is very enthusiastic, and also helped to understand a lot of questions, this is the only reason I think the hotel is OK.

I thought that I'd surprise my wife for her birthday this year and get her tickets to see the Montreal Canadians play the Anaheim Ducks in Montreal. So I needed to quickly book a wonderful hotel to match the occasion. I found this romantic little inn and was so lucky to be able to get a wonderful room for the evening. I really wanted something close to the Bell Centre, where the Canadians play and this was only a 9 minute walk. It was also so close to some of the best little restaurants in town as well. So I booked the room and when we flew to Montreal in a snowstorm - we took an Uber right to the hotel, which was about 25 minutes away. The man at the front desk was very friendly and got us the key to our room, along with an explanation about how to use the wi-fi and where breakfast would be served the following day. Our room was a deluxe room that was located in the building next door and was absolutely amazing. It was huge and had a nice big sitting room with a spa tub, a big comfy bed and two fireplaces. We got the heat going and then went out to get something to eat and go see the hockey game. When we returned later that night the room was nice and warm and we had a nice spa bath. We didn't use the fireplaces as unfortunately they cost $11 extra (each) to light up - but we really didn't need them because the room was so nice and warm. We slept very well, though I was concerned that the window where our bed was faced the road and that it might be noisy. Also, our room was the first one on the main floor right beside the entrance and that we might hear people coming and going but we didn't hear anything or anyone. Breakfast the next morning was served in a dining area on the main floor in the main building. There were cereals, bread, fruit etc to choose from as well as a couple of women who made up fresh eggs, omelettes and pancakes from a small menu. Check-out was very easy and overall, I highly recommend this beautiful, charming and romantic little auberge right in the heart of Montreal!

The Gîte breaths quality and comfort. It is well equipped - quality bed , bed sheets, pillows, furniture , kitchen equipment... Super quiet and clean. Well set up for travellers will all the information you may need. Very well located a few steps from the subway. Parking on the street is restricted as can be expected but 100 meters away is one of the Olympic site parkings and this is what I'll use next time. No need to go around the block 4 times. The first time I stayed at the Crown Hotel, I feel pretty good. It should be near the airport. The swimming pool in the hotel lobby is quite large. The pool is quite like, the shallow water area is 1 meter, the deep water area is 1.3 meters, and there are large water slides. More careful design. The size of the room is OK, the double bed is around 1.4, and it doesn't feel 1.5. Breakfast is OK, buffet, Western-style, with a variety of sausages, milk, fruit, bread. There is a parking lot, but I don’t know if it charges.

The kitchen that is most amazing to me, everything is complete. The carpet was a bit smudged, and the air-conditioned position of the room was anti-human design, blowing his head. WiFi slows down and slows down. It may be due to insufficient staff. The service is a bit slow and waits for a while, and the attitude is good. The hotel will not clean every day. If you need to change towels or toilet cups, you should change it to the front desk. It is also environmentally friendly.

I had to travel to Montréal as my daughter had a medical emergency and I needed to stay for 11 nights. We chose this hotel as it was so central, close to The Plateau and Downtown Montréal and the hospital where my daughter was, PLUS we could park our hire car. We were given a room to the back of the hotel which was homely, toasty and cosy and after my partner had to leave after two nights and I was staying on in Montréal on a day to day basis this place was my refuge and my home from home. The staff are so helpful and friendly and welcoming and despite my wanting to travel back to Ireland with my daughter as soon as possible I really was sad to say good-bye. I would highly recommend staying in this restful, safe haven.

honestly, this was a last minute panic hotel but it ended up working out to be a really good experience. My partner and I were supposed to fly to montreal from alberta for a doctors consultation and the day before we were supposed to leave, our other, pre paid hotel cancelled because they weren't open due to covid. They definitely had 10+ days to inform us before but oh well it ended up working out. We found this hotel for about 50 bucks a night with a $60 deposit. so we showed up, and immediately the owner(?) Showed us our room, but also allowed us to go check out another room on the third floor that also had a shower and more room for an extra 10 dollars. Honestly I jumped on that deal because even though I was almost broke, 10 dollars for our own private shower was a life saver. This hotel does have communal bathrooms and showers on each floor and as much as I dont care about that stuff, its sill nice to have access to that whenever. It also just so happened the day we land it was during a 40 degrees heat wave with no ac. So I lived in a cold shower for the majority of our time at the hotel. The owner also offered us use of the fridge and gave us some free water because it was hot as heck, even offering us an extra fan on top if the ceiling fan. There weren't any soaps or towels just a heads up, but we brought our own toiletries and went to the dollar store down the road to grab a beach towel even though i took advantage of being damp in the intense heat more often than not. This is a very old place, and its not necessarily the cleanest you've ever seen, but its neat, its homey, and its a really unique experience worth every dollar. Not to mention free wifi and a solid 3 channels on the TV haha. A bonus on top of the actual hotel is it is really close to the village which is a lovely inclusive lgbtq+ space with entertainment and shops and restaurants all around. Its also within walking distance to China town and the metro systems, plus some really lovely outdoor parks and buildings. Its also in a fairly busy area so if you don't like noise in a busy city it might be difficult but its something I don't mind and I think I actually like. I don't speak much french so it was entertaining sometimes to hear people drunkenly speak loudly in French and laughing all night. There are of course your fair share of people who struggle with homelessness and a couple of lovely sex workers but its part of the downtown monteal experience. And in comparison, the people addicted to substances and the sex workers from where im from are a solid 3/10 compared to montreals 8/10 with kindness and respect for other people lol So in "short", its a great experience. Its an old building that sadly has some cool sh*t painted over but it is what it is. Its also close to a bunch of cool locations and easy to access with public transportation. It also does smell like your local grandmas house including the 50 years of lingering cigarette smoke. It may be a smoke free bu

My husband and I recently stayed at the lofts de vieux port (the apartment portion of this Auberge). We checked in at the Auberge desk on October 20th. The reception staff asked us for a credit or debit card for a hold fee of $400 canadian for a room that we had already prepd through hotels.com. My husband gave his debit card and I asked when the funds would be released. We were told immediately at check out but it may take 5 to 7 business days to post to our account. We checked out on October 24th. It is now November 19th and we are still fighting with them and the bank to get our hold funds back. I had to file a claim for an investigation with my bank. The lofts were loud even though we were told they were the quieter part of the hotel. Once you get past the dark warehouse style stairs there the room itself was actually beautiful and clean. The staff was over all nice but after we had called and told them the funds had not been returned they were incompetent. The first 3 people we spoke to told us the funds were released. The fourth person we spoke to on November 4th was helpful and told us that for some reason the funds were NOT released at check out. She released them and sent me an email to give to the bank. Ten days later still no funds so the bank told us we had to file a claim. Sorry for the long write up but based on some research it looks like I'm not the only one this has happened to. The problem is they deduct $100 per night hold as a debit it showed up as -353 american on Oct 20th on my bank app. When they finally release it it does not show as a credit....it just disappears from the listing on your account as if it never happened but if you know how much money you have or do the math you see you are still missing those funds. Even my banker had to add/subtract every charge from the 20th until the date I called to realize the money was missing. I wonder how many people never noticed. I hadn't written this earlier because I'd been emailing back and forth with the hotel manager and hoped we could resolve it quickly. He couldn't. In summary the hotel itself was very nice but the issues I've had have caused me hours of wasted time and I hope I can stop it from happening to someone else. Don't use a debit card for hotel holds (although I used the same card for the Frontenac in Quebec and got my funds back in 3 days.) Use a credit card amd check your bank account daily. Safe Travels.

The location is great - across the street from a beautiful big park and near some terrific restaurants. Highly recommend! The fact that there is parking behind the place is a fantastic benefit. Parking by most B & B's in Montreal is on the street. It's very difficult to find a spot and even harder to determine if it's legal to park there!

My wife and I stayed at the hotel Nelligan for 3 nights in September mid week. The hotel had excellent covid 19 safety procedures in place. We purchased the hotel package from their website, came with free parking and breakfast. My wife and I were very surprised how great the breakfast was. You get a choice of 4 gourmet items and coffee/tea. At night the hotel has a wine bar with Tuesday nights being half price wine night. They have a sommelier present to help with selections. The hotel also has a beautiful rooftop patio that overlooks parts of old Montreal. We ate there twice in the afternoon, the oysters and beef tartare were our favourites. The cocktails on the menu were excellent as well. There is a steakhouse in the hotel but we did not end up dining there. Next time. Our room was on the 4th floor, larger than a normal hotel room with beautiful exposed brick throughout. The bathroom was very nice as well with more exposed brick and French decor. As for the location we found it to be right in the middle of wherever we were walking. Close walk to all the surrounding bars and restaurants. Overall The hotel is beautiful and the staff very professional. We plan on staying next September again. Thanks

We stayed the the Hotel William Gray for a few nights in early March. It was a great experience, with an exceptional location. If you are looking to do things like visit Bota Bota, or the Notre Dame Basilica, you couldn't ask for a better location. It's in the heart of downtown Montreal but it's a relatively quiet side street. We were close to the street level, and noise, etc. wasn't an issue for us. You can step out of the door of the hotel and have great bars, restaurants, coffee, etc. all within 5-10 minutes walking in any direction. We would definitely be back. The staff were great, very helpful and friendly. The hotel has a chic and modern feel to it, and none of the decor seemed overlooked in this regard. Our hotel room was probably one of the most stylish we've stayed in, original stone walls, concrete and a bright feel. It was really aesthetically pleasing. Bathroom was great and modern. The only critique I would have would just be the small touches, our room was very clean, but I noticed in the main area plants that were dead, debris from the winter on the rugs etc. Nothing major, and I would be back, but just little things that would elevate the hotel even further. We had a great stay and would recommend.
