We are Diamond Level Choice Rewards members and have stayed at this location on several occasions. It has been going steadily downhill, recently. If we had paid cash, rather than with points, we would have been even more displeased. The facility had lots of evidence of disrepair; broken windows covered with cardboard, lights out, peeling paint, potholes in parking lot, etc. Let's start from the top: when booking the room, I had requested a ground floor unit, due to some recent mobility issues. I know that is not a guarantee, but at least an acknowlegment and an "I'm sorry we don't have one available." at check in would have been nice. I'm not sure they even looked at my request and when I asked about it, I was given a curt, "No, we don't have one." Elite members are supposed to get a choice of check in gifts (snack, water), there was even a counter card at the desk about it. Nothing. Once we dragged our bags up the stairs to the second floor, the room showed similar signs of neglect. Wobbly table barely repaired with wood screws with the heads showing. Only one hanger on the rod. Nothing plugged in (lamp, refrigerator [so it was not cold], microwave). Beat up carpet that was hard to tell if it was clean. The beds were Full size, not the Queen size we booked. Positive Side: It did not smell musty or dirty, the bathroom was clean and in full working order. The beds were comfortable. We slept very well. No noticable noise from the nearby interstate highway. Breakfast: Way below Choice Hotel standards. The eggs and sausage were cold. No cream cheese for the bagels, no yogurt, limited fruit choice. No obvious breakfast attendant (I think the desk staffer was pulling both duties.). It took extra time to check out, for that reason. The desk staffer was emptying the trash can from the breakfast area, and was not at the front desk. I remember how good this place used to be. It has been our "go-to" stop for many trips. No longer. I will closely check recent reviews before booking there again.

We had the unfortunate experience of staying at thihs facility on Sunday, October 18, 2020. Our original reservation, was for a two night stay. Our reservation was for a room with two queen beds. When we arrived, we were given a room with only 1 queen bed. If that was the only issue with the room, we would have been fine. We decided to cut our stay from two nights to one night for the following reasons: 1. There was no electrical outlet on the wall with the desk, so it was impossible for us to do any work 2. There was no electrical outlet on the left side of the bed. The manager on duty had to find an extension cord in order to plug in the lamp on the left side of the bed to the only outlet on that wall, which was behind the bed on the right side. 3. The lamp on the left side of the bed did not work, and the manager on duty had to bring us a replacement lamp. That lamp had a short in the plug on the base of the lamp, so we could not charge one of our phones. 4. The dresser drawers, once clothes had been placed in them, would not stay closed, creating a hazard when walking in the room. 5. The seal on the refrigerator was damaged and torn, and the unit did not cool 6. At first, we could not find the kleenix, which was trapped below the dispenser which was designed for this purpose. We had to dig out the kleenix. 7. The instrument face on the microwave was broken. 8. There was no electrical outlet next to or near to the sofa, so again, we could not use our computers or charge our devices. 9. There was no black out curtain over the window, and even with the blinds closed, the room was way too bright from outside lighting to be able to sleep. 10. The faucet in the tub malfunctions in that it continues to pour out water when the shower feature is used. 11. There was no stopper in the tub, so one could not take a bath. 12. The hair dryer was a fire hazard. When you removed it from the wall mount there was no covering for the heating element. When we tried to put it back in the mount, the entire mount fell off of the wall. 13. The bathroom fan needs repair. When checking out on the 19th, the manager on duty asked me to send her the pictures that I had taken of some of these items. She gave me the following email address: daysinnkennesaw04531@2gmail.com. I attempted to email the pictures twice. Gmail gave me the error code that the email either does not exist or it is not configured to receive messag

I stayed at the Kennesaw Home2 from April 2020 to September 2020 for business. During my stay, the staff was always friendly, helpful and professional. The hotel was clean, neat and welcoming. The rooms are designed well with a nice size kitchen area that comes with medium counter space, a large dish washer and a full size refrigerator. Dishes, utensils and general cookware are also included in the kitchen. The bed was large and comfortable. The room has a large Television that is great for movies or gaming. The room also has a pull-out couch for extra sleep space. The hotel has a wonderful outdoor grilling/ Pool area. Great for outdoor lounging with friends and family. There is a nice indoor fitness center that is attached to the hotel laundry room. This hotel has a lot to offer it’s guests and the staff is wonderful. I enjoyed every moment during my stay. I’d recommend the Kennesaw Home2 to anyone and everyone. Thank you Kennesaw Home2 for Excellent Service.

It was so easy to fix for us, just credit our credit card for the difference which totaled $150+/- for the week. As a corporate customer, we need hotels that are flexible and do the right thing if an error is made. This hotel's management apparently does not value the importance of it's Corporate customers. We will not be sending any more technicians to this hotel as a result of this experience. I stayed here two nights during a work event and was very pleased with my decision to choose this specific hotel. First of all, the location is awesome. It’s right off the interstate and is very close to several restaurants and shops. The parking situation is easy and there is a lot of it. The hotel itself is very nice and has a great breakfast. All the decor looks very new and makes you feel like you are in a nice hotel. The workout room was great but since it was a nice day, I ran outside. There is a business park and a college really close to the hotel so there are a lot of sidewalks. Great hotel. Great staff! Will stay here again.

I attempted to stay here the early hours of 9/22, driving between FL and the Midwest, I found a couple options just North of Atlanta. I found this online while driving north for around $70 per night, given I was going to be checking the early hours of the morning and leaving early perfect. I didn't book it online as I was driving, when I arrived at 2am, Josh the over night staff was planning video games and barely had time to look up. I mentioned what i seen online for pricing after he gave me a $94 per room rate, he said "you can book it there but who knows when it will come through". He also said you get charged and additonal $20 for depsoit... random and strange. So I tried and show him the ad online for the discounted rate but he could really care less, given I only had 5 hours to sleep before I had to be back on the road at 7 am, I just let it go. Crazy that the customer is showing you an ad and you refuse to offer it. Fine, his dry tone annoyed me probably more than the outdated lobby. Room was fine, updated and didn't have any odor, I turned the air on and it cooled down. Once the fan shut off all i could hear was the freeway, I put my fan app on my phone, the TV on for a short time and the fan in the room, freeway won. I tossed and turned for about 3 hours, finally I just agreed to not sleep and leave. I checked out before 6 am, not to my surprise Josh was still there. He was again dry and unwelcoming. I left, w/ my receipt in hand, with $115 less green, no sleep and no thoughts of every going to a Best Western again!

My boyfriend and I had an impromptu stay here due to a power outage at our home. I was reluctant at first, because I’m usually a ball on a budget 4-5 star chic myself and this hotel is rated 3 star. But when I tell you that the service was that of a luxury hotel, it was! The front desk staff Lee provided fresh mask for us. The bartenders Reggie and Kiana treated us like family and made us the best cocktails. And our morning breakfast server Sai was superb. The lobby is very nice, and although the the room was nothing to rave about, it was clean which was most important to me! I would stay at the hotel again for sure.

Booked this as last minute decision to take our trip a day early and our hotel for the weekend was booked so needed a 1 night place to stay. First off we arrived hour and half prior to check in and the man requested $25 early check in fee...Umm Nope! so we waited til later in evening to check in. Once in the room - it’s spacious and that’s all I can say that is good. Well other than it’s right down the road from Suntrust Park. It says was non smoking room - well there’s burn place in the bedding . The bathroom was very dark and dim as for the only light working was the one above the sink the main light was out and had plastic and paper bag shoved in it (see pics below). The next morning we woke up to a puddle in the floor from the ac leaking . I booked this room for very little and well got what I paid for in my eyes.

I had to book an immediate reservation at the Hilton Garden Inn Atlanta Marietta Wildwood Georgia and it was absolutely “outstanding” as I had witnessed literally a young black male fatality on the Fulton Industrial Blvd enroute to the hotel after a bittersweet and super brief visit w/my beloved maternal Aunt and uncle rehabilitating at “home” from a recent surgery post chemo. My family whom resides in the Brittany Park subdivision knew that the area would be a safe, clean, “haven” for my travel via car from NC that eve as I had truly become super “road weary!!” Ironically, the notorious downtown Atlanta traffic did not ‘surprise or disappoint my travel to the hotel. However, the incredible professional, efficient, HGI hotel staff from the young gentleman w/twists who checked me in w/the free UPG for my Diamond status and empathy as I recalled the catastrophic events of my drive in—-to the Sales coordinator/sales manager who granted my late checkout as I “be gifted” an extra N95 for her charm and hospitality that, in fact, ultimately lead to my rebooking a follow up return visit next month, early November to the very same property!! I work in the hospitality industry and in fact until a few years ago, the very same Hilton Garden Inn “brand” in NC but this hotel far exceeds my former affiliation w/ the brand and property by pure “excellence.” Kudos to all, for a job an experience well done in these super trying, and challenging “political and pandemic” times.

We stayed here for one night while seeing a concert at the Coca-Cola Roxy theater. The valet parking was so nice and easy. The staff was over-the-top awesome. The rooms were amazing! Very clean, updated, free cookie at check-in (which we ended up buying a dozen of before we left to bring home to our children). It was the first time we'd ever left our teenage children home alone over night and all of the comfort and friendliness of the staff made it a great experience. We were within walking distance to the Roxy theater. It was a downhill walk about 5-10 minutes (that uphill walk on the way back sucked) but very easy to navigate and close to the Battery. After the concert we went out for food and drinks at the battery and had no issues walking back to our room at 1 am. There were tons of people out and walking around. It felt very safe, the crosswalks were nicely lit and easy to navigate even with all of the traffic. The only reason I didn't give this place 5 stars is because of the price. It was very pricey for everything from the room, to the drink machines, to the small onsite store that offered food and drinks. I have never had an issue paying for better quality especially with a hotel stay, or for their amenities, but the prices for everything seemed outrageous, even for a very nice hotel with a prime location. I was happy to pay the premium rate for the room because of the quality and the location to where we were going to be, but they could definitely slash some prices on the onsite offerings. Otherwise, this was a perfect stay. I'll definitely think about staying here again if we have need to visit the Roxy or the Battery again. I'll just make sure to bring my own drinks and eat off site next time. All in all it was a wonderful stay and I hope they keep up the great service there.

My first encounter with Hilton was this past weekend. I was looking for a last minute room in Atlanta. I had a question and used the Chat feature. I spoke with Candra, I believe. She was most helpful; helped my sign up for Hilton Honors, and book through the app. My first encounter at the Doubletree by Hilton Atlanta Galleria was parking. The gentlemen were most helpful. Then the ladies at the front desk were extremely polite, helpful and friendly. There was no ice bucket in my room, but once I asked one was brought right up. The next morning the ladies in room service were most helpful, and friendly too! (That was the best omelette ever! Thank you chef!) One thing that I took with me is how exceptional the room was . It was spacious, clean and very comfortable. However what I took with me most is not only was the staff friendly, outgoing and most helpful but the other guest were too! Thank you Hilton for a most wonderful experience. This may have been my first stay at a Hilton, but it won’t be my last!

From the time we checked in until the time we checked out 4 days later, we had a perfect stay. We were greeted by Alexis T. when we first arrived at 9:00 a.m. and even though our rooms weren't available that early, she provided PERFECT customer service. She offered to hold our luggage for us so we could begin to explore downtown.....she did it with a smile and could not have been more welcoming. She also told us that breakfast was still being served and if we would like to partake to please do so. She set the bar very high and is a perfect "face"for the hotel! Our rooms were very clean at check in but we did not ask for our rooms to be cleaned after that. We only asked for clean towels and the housekeeping staff were gracious in giving us the amount we requested. We enjoyed the evening reception (provided 7 nights a week/4:00-7:00 p.m.)held in the lobby one evening. That night they had complimentary chicken wings, chips with artichoke dip and cubed cheese......all hot and very tasty! There was also an acoustic guitar player in the lobby providing very nice music (low volume). The morning breakfast was very well presented as well.....one morning they ran out of bacon - no big deal! This hotel is located a 10 minute walk from all the action on Broadway. Super location! I would 100% stay and recommend this hotel to anyone in need of a hotel while visiting downtown Nashville!

My wife and I were celebrating her birthday last week, and Nashville was where she wanted to go (I certainly didn't mind though). We checked in on Wednesday March 4 for three nights. My first thought of the lobby area was it reminded me of the Contemporary Hotel in Disney World minus the monorail running through it. Our early check-in went smoothly as our room was already available, and it was one facing the park, as we requested. Regarding the room itself, it was overall clean and spacious. Next door at Bridgestone Arena, there was a concert the first evening, a hockey game the next evening, and another concert the last evening. We did hear their noise, but glad we didn't also hear all the music from the other side (rooms facing Broadway). Our check-out experience went well too with no discrepancies in our final bill. For breakfasts, we enjoyed the buffet in the lobby. It was nothing spectacular, but still had all the usual breakfast foods. Our only issue came with the coffee shop where on Thursday March 5, it didn't open until after 7am. It was an issue as we are early risers and were specifically told they opened 6am weekdays. Regardless, I would certainly consider staying here again the next time we're in town.

We spent two nights a week ago traveling for fun as a couple. It was a fantastic experience from our initial contact (the hotel actually called to see if we needed anything for a smooth trip or arrival about a week before we got there, which was a nice touch), to the check in with Elliot who was very helpful and friendly, and then all the way through our stay to our check out. Ellington's has a terrific happy hour and outdoor deck - Wonderful cocktails and appetizers (go for the pimento cheese to wash down with a nice dry martini!). The room is absolutely fantastic. We stayed in a Cherry Suite which is a big larger and has everything you will need. The beds and pillows are very comfortable, and the bathroom large. Morning coffee is excellent in the lobby. The location is terrific - right next to Painter's Alley and a few blocks from Broadway and other sites. The developer and designer did a great job of making a new hotel feel truly vintage. Valet parking is a great way to go. We even had to leave around 5:30 am for the airport, so we called the night before to make sure we could access our car, and they had it pulled up waiting for us. Overall, you can't go wrong staying here. We will make The Fairlane our Nashville hotel for sure!
