|2.74km from city centerWe had a wonderful holiday here. the place is in front of the ocean, with nice gardens and an amazing pool that is temperature perfect! Our room was very big with nice amenities The wifi worked perfectly The breakfast was amazing I want to put forward the kindness and professionalism of the staff here: receptionists are super professional, cleaning staff is highly dedicated and the breakfast staff is incredibly nice (the gentleman that greeted us every morning) snd very organized. i was very impressed with the staff, they work hard to satisfy customers needs We liked it so much that we decided to extend our stay. The organization on our extension request was smooth and friendly We are clearly staying here again and can recommend this hotel to everyone. the prices are also very reasonable and the hotel offers excursions and visits! loved our stay - thank you!

|1.82km from city centerGood clean honest hotel with great friendly staff. I was looking for a low cost break in Cyprus as I’d not been before and didn’t know what to expect… Pro’s: Amazing value, friendly knowledgeable staff and clean & bright room Good selection of vegetarian breakfast included in the price Con’s: Toilet was intermittent. I could have reported but didn’t bother as I found a workable solution. There was a leak from somewhere in the bathroom, the floor was always wet. The doors are not well sealed and noise from others could be intrusive. Overall: Good well priced hotel in a good position near the harbour and beach. In need of a tidy up in the bathroom, a new flushing mechanism is all it needs I think. Honest value and very friendly helpful staff. If you are on a budget, we’ll worth considering. Top tip: Use the buses! They were great and very cheap (all quite new). On my way there I got a taxi to the hotel as I’d never been before and didn’t know my way around. €45 fixed cost from airport to Paphos town, 25 minutes. On my way back took the bus, took 30 minutes but the ticket cost just €1.50!!! Saving €43.50 over a single taxi journey! Bargain…

|2.04km from city centerSimple but adequate rooms. The price is very reasonable and the location excellent, just behind the seafront (I could see the sea from my room). There are a lot of works currently in Paphos town but they didn’t disturb me and should be finished soon. The ladies on the front desk are exceptionally helpful and seem to do everything. The breakfast could be improved but one can’t complain at the price.

|1.04km from city centerWe visited the guest house as 3 couples. The place is cute and has a nice inner courtyard where you can have breakfast or lunch/dinner. The first issue was clear straight away: one room we booked was not the same as the one that was given to us. This happened because we didn't pay beforehand the booking for that specific room, nonetheless it is really unprofessional to give away a room that was booked only because it wasn't paid. Secondly our friend found a stain on the bed. The management replaced the sheets and offered them a complimentary wine glass. The positive sides of the place are the central location, the nice atmosphere and the big shower with a nice water pressure... when there is water. In fact the last day the whole area had a problem with water, and of course this cannot be accounted to the hotel. Nonetheless the management did nothing to reduce the disturbance created by this situation. We had a water bottle to wash our teeth and be able to do the minimum self-care before and after bedtime and it was charged to us 3 euros. When we went to pay we were expecting some sort of compensation - for example free breakfast or similar but even the water we had to buy was charged. The host gave us a piece of paper stating that next time we can have a free night stayin, but there will be no next time.

|2.71km from city centerWe booked these apartments for two days at the end of our holiday because we had to check out of our Villa much earlier than our flight home. Our apartment was very clean and had everything you need.and is a very good location. The people who checked us in were very friendly and make you feel very welcome. We would happily recommend Seashell Apartments and will return when we next visit Cyprus.

|3.69km from city centerJust back from a week in the Asimina Suites in Paphos. The week was fantastic, everything about the hotel is first class. Probably the best asset is the staff, very friendly and helpful throughout the whole week, a welcoming smile and hello every time we passed by reception and in the restaurants, a special word for Marios, and his team who served fabulous food at every sitting.Marios was everywhere , don’t believe he ever took a break but was always at hand , knowing and delivering our preferred drinks as we sat to our table. The room was spacious , with an extremely comfortable bed and a lovely large balcony. The room was kept spotless by the house keeping staff who, as well as cleaning the room , did a turn down service every evening. The food was to die for, every day at either lunch or dinner a special main course was on offer which we went with most of the time and also a different soup at each sitting. The chef is a master at making really tasty and different soups- first class. The spa treatment that we both had was excellent, both in terms of value but also the treatment itself. My wife alsohad her hair done a few times during our stay, by a very friendly hairdresser. The hotel is in a very good location, about 20 minutes from the airport and about a 30/35 minutes lovely walk along by the seashore ( path) to the harbour. We will definitely be back. 10 out of 10

|2.7km from city centerHotel is in need of some maintenance. The building hasn’t been cared for at all, it’s really run down. Handles falling off, pictures not straight or falling off. AC not working , ceiling tiles damaged or water stained etc etc We found reception to be ok and helpful, but did have a problem with the extra (sofa bed) the mattress is literally a piece of foam about 2 inches thick. Not good if your anything older than a 7 year old. The room we had was huge and nice (apart from that sofa bed) I would not come back Thanks Martin Noisy kids in the pool at 22.30!!

|2.26km from city centerWe were dubious about staying at the Basilica after reading some bad reviews. When we arrived at the Basilica at about 1am we were informed that there was an issue with our room and that we would need to stay at their sister hotel Paphos Gardens about 5 mins away. We were quite annoyed about this but the staff were so apologetic about this it helped to calm us down. After a night at Paphos Gardens we returned to the Basilica, we had originally booked for B&B but due to the issue the night before they upgraded us to AI. Even though the start of our holiday stay didn’t go to plan we had an amazing stay there. The rooms were clean and comfortable with everything that we needed. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel doesn’t have a lot of entertainment just 1 act per evening at dinner time but this was ideal for our family. So if you’re looking for a small, quiet and friendly hotel take a look at the Basilica.

|1.07km from city centerA great place to chill, especially good for parking your hire car, securely. Good size studio with all the basic necessities. Only criticsim is that the hot water takes too long to heat up.
As a solo travellor it can be annoying when kids start kicking balls aong the corridor. If solo maybe ask to be put in a quiet area away from noisy people.
Good size balcony, very clean kitchen, massive fridge. Overall place to stay with a local shop and restaurant.

|2.44km from city centerThis is by far the best hotel i have had the pleasure of visiting - ever. I repeat...ever. I have reviewed well over 100 hotels on TA, and i cannot overstate the awesomeness of this property. The place is beautiful, immaculately clean and the rooms are at an unsurpassed standard of comfort. The attention to esthetic detail all over the hotel, public spaces and rooms are, simply put, a straight 10. We stayed in the cabana rooms (009 and 010) and they were truly a special experience. By far, the highest compliment i can give goes to the staff at the Amavi. All of them, without exception, were very courteous, always smiling and highly responsive and professional. I was upset by one reviewer who commented negatively about the staff, so i will say this again - I have never experienced such a high standard of service, from the bell-boys at the entrance, the reception, restaurants, guest services and housekeeping. Credit must be given to the hotel’s GM and to those responsible for the staff training and maintenance of such high standards. The food was better than outstanding. The dinner at Nocturne was one of the best cuisine experiences that i, together with my friends, have ever experienced. Thank you for this weekend experience. We will return - as often as possible - and it is a pleasure to know that you can access such a high-quality property, at a reasonable price.

|2.41km from city centerOnly stayed here for 4 nights but wish I booked more now. Breakfast: everything you needed for breakfast what was nice. Cater for everyone and the food was lovely. Only issue a member of staff took my plate whilst I was still eating what I find rude, not hard to communicate. Rooms: Check in is 2pm but can not exactly be on time because a couple next to us at the reception had to wait an hour. We only had to wait 10 minutes but still I think they need to be quicker or have more cleaner’s. 3 people had to check if our room was clean which was strange. The rooms were modern and good size and had everything we wanted. The beds were hard but we’re used to soft ones. When the cleaner cleaned our room she only gave us one towel to share between two people. It’s not rocket science. Pool: Plenty of sun beds and the service is great round the pool. Very polite staff. Looks onto the beach aswell. Location: if you don’t like walking I would recommend staying closer to paphos centre or there is a bus what’s goes in paphos. (615) We didn’t mind the walk at all, took 30 minutes and plenty of shops/bars/restaurants including mall.

|1.32km from city centerWe have just returned from a great holiday at the Mayfair Hotel, Paphos 4th - 11th November 2023. There are 2 parts to the hotel, the Hotel and Gardens, both are located together in nice well kept grounds and with 3 outdoor and 1 indoor (heated) pool with plenty of sunbeds. We stayed in the Mayfair Hotel and room was spotlessly clean with Tea / Coffee facilities and a fridge which was ideal. Food was excellent with a great choice for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner and there was also a dedicated section for Vegan and Vegetarian choices as well as the excellent selection of salads from the salad bar, there is a lovely outdoor dining terrace and staff are very attentive. The bar staff were friendly and with a great selection of drinks included within the All Inclusive Package and is worth the difference. There was a varied evening entertainment programme with some great live singers performing and the entertainment team had a programme of activities throughout the day. The spa was relaxing and well priced. Already looking at returning next November as weather was excellent and this is a great hotel choice, yes it is in a residential area but its only a 15 minute walk to the waterfront / harbour area and would definitely recommend.

|1.77km from city centerRoom was confortable and clean. However, I had huge wifi signal issues in my room number 411 forcing me to step outside of my room to get a good connection, I have raised this up with the hotel management who did offer an alternative room (which I actually turned down because I arrived late at night) and who also promised to investigate this further with a telecom specialist. Future reviews from other guests will confirm if this issue has been fixed.

Paphos
|2.48km from city centerIt's cheap, and for the money it's OK. I wouldn't spend a week here as its too dark and dingy but it had good points The pool area is lovely, nice soft sunbeds and fruit trees make it a really pleasant place to lounge. The room is clean, the washing product is good quality Breakfast very basic but OK, you won't starve Negatives are that while the pool area is lovely, the chairs and tables are very grimy looking, the could do with a steam clean. Ditto the balcony furniture. The room whole clean has to be the most depressing colour of beige there is, and everything in the room is beige. The reception area and the hotel in general has a very dark and oppressive vibe, nothing bright and cheerful about it. That said it was value for the price we paid and if your happy with that then you could do worse I suppose.

|0.93km from city centerWe stayed for our holidays in Paphos at the Kiniras Hotel, which is in the heart of Paphos City center. The hotel and the rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. The owners and the stuff were very friendly and helpful! In the morning we enjoyed our breakfast in the quiet back yard of the hotel. You can walk easily around the city center, were you can find many shops, restaurants, coffee shops etc. We had a great time at Kiniras Hotel and I surly recommend it, especially for those who like a friendly and quiet place to stay! Was value for money!

Paphos
|5.36km from city centerJust returned from 7 nights at Helios Bay. It is a lovely hotel in a great location. It was really hot (approx 32 degrees each day at the end of September). Pros: - Pool is really nice, clean and a good size - Plenty of sunbeds - we had no issue finding 2 together in the sun at any time of the day - Pool bar is good for drinks and snacks e.g. ice creams, toasties, chips, small meals - Beautiful views and a coastal path (perfect place to watch the sunsets) - Bus 615 stops right outside and goes to Coral Bay or down to Paphos. Single tickets are 1.50 or you can buy a day ticket for 5 euros. We asked about a weekly ticket but were told these were not available. We didn't use the beach nearby as we went up to Coral Bay on the bus (much less rocky/stoney and the sea is calmer) - would recommend going there - the Corallia Beach (the last stop on the bus) is lovely and is 7.50 a day for x2 sunbeds and a parasol. We also used the buses to get to Aphrodite's Rock which was nice. The supermarket (I think called Sklavenitis) inside Kings Mall is far better than the Lidl and only a few stops further on the bus - go there if you want a larger selection of food. I have a nut & sesame seed allergy and was unable to find many suitable things in the Lidl but found loads there including British chocolate and bread safe for me to eat. We cooked our own breakfasts each day so can't comment on the breakfast at the hotel. There is a small kiosk style shop 2 doors down from the hotel where you can buy essentials e.g. drinks, snacks, gifts. The New Horizon pub next door to that was a favourite of ours. We ate there 3 times and other nights went to watch the rugby or football. Nice atmosphere and also very allergy friendly - menus are allergy coded and the staff really helpful. Cons: - We arrived very late (approx 2am) due to our Gatwick flight being delayed. We were handed a key and on arrival at our room realised were on the ground floor (104) with a view of some villas. We had paid extra for a side sea view room so I went and spoke to the receptionist and requested a room change. He reported he was just the night man and told me to go back in the morning. I went back at 8am and they did move us later that day to the other side of the block and up a higher level (room 216) where the views were 1000 times better and we actually had the view we'd paid for. Be careful of this as I have read this in other reviews. This is one of my only negatives as it did disappoint us on arrival and I felt like we had just been given the last room due to arriving late. - Only other small negative was the lack of entertainment on a night. The sun set at approx 6.45pm whilst we were there which meant it was dark early. The hotel became really quiet and you had to go to the pub nearby or into Paphos for any entertainment, drinks etc. It would have been nice to have music / something going on each night at the hotel itself. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again - j

|2.67km from city centerWe came in December, during the off-season. The hotel was very inexpensive (315 Euro for 3 nights) and not crowded. Our room was huge - a full kitchen with appliances and a washing machine, dining table, couch (not a comfortable one), amazing balcony, a nice bedroom and two full bathrooms. The kosher food was delicious and plentiful. We got fresh omelets in the morning from Chef Yaakov and made sandwiches for later. Dinner was 35 Euro per person and was a huge buffet with at least 3 proteins, sides and a salad bar. There was even a bowl of fruit and a yummy cake and donuts (for Chanuka). Small random grievances - there is a pipe in the shower that gets scalding hot when the shower is on; don't touch it or you'll burn yourself! I didn't find the couch or the bed especially comfortable, though I did appreciate the extra pillows. Neither of the bathroom doors have locks on them. Despite the festive Christmas display that the Capital Coast Hotel (host hotel) put out, the lobby has a very tired look. Fun bonus: during one of our dinners in the kosher dining room, there was a group of interactive dancers who put on a fun show. I recommend this hotel! I hope to return soon.

|2.13km from city centerBreakfast super buffet everything delicious, and corresponds to the price-performance ratio, for dinner a restaurant VIVA CYPRUS is very RECOMMENDED nearby.
Great location. In Paphos the buses are bad, please rent a car immediately, it's cheap 10-20 €/day... the taxis are expensive and they screw every pig... So please rent a car.
Staff: I thank you from the bottom of my heart, you are the best... Always helpful and very human... My wife did not feel well during the holiday and went to the hospital. They allowed me to take breakfast to go for my wife and a delivery box prepared for this... That was really great.
Cons : the hotel is a bit old and the facilities need to be updated but that's easily ignored when you have such a great friendly staff.
Sauna against 7€ extra which is also disadvantageous in my opinion.
So in a big goose the hotel is very good and I book there again and again 😁.
Greetings from Chaban family
