0.16km from Coff...Arrived at 10:30am on a Friday morning, chanced our arm with seeing if we can check in early and the lady at the desk was very helpful and found us a room and we were able to check in very early. We were on floor 3 facing out the front, a lot of road noise at night times, beeping horns etc. Rooms are standard, twin bed and not a double though, find thats quite common in Spain. Minifridge with nothing in it so can store your own stuff. Shower/Bath had a few marks and bits out of it but nothing major that made you disgusted. Had breakfast there once, was told the breakfast stopped at 10:30 so went down at 10 oclock to be told at 10 past it will be closing in 5 minutes, didnt both us too much as plenty of food places near. (Would highly recommend the french toast in the little french place over the road.) All in all a good hotel with nice rooms and not too much of a walk to everything roughly 20-30 mins.
0.17km from Coff...Everything was more or less fine. There was a bit of a proboem to use our kitchen because it didn't work in our floor though we were able to use it in other floors. There were no bowls however. So eating cereal, soup or something like that was a bit complicated. Everything else great. Though I wouldn't recommend buying breakfast because it is sandwich/ croissant and coffee /tea/juice. But as we were eating other snqcks during the day it was enough.

0.27km from Coff...The location of the hotel is not bad, there is a subway station near the Plaza de España, 200 meters away, but if you want to stay close to the attractions, it is better to live near the Casa Batlló and the home of Mira, which will make it easier for you to visit. Here, you need to do the subway to various attractions. The policy of seeing the hotel before is to welcome the children, so we have set up this hotel for 4 nights in 2 families. On the night of the stay, the hotel said that the extra bed must be paid for the extra bed, 50 euros for one person, which is equivalent to one night's room rate. My child is not willing to sleep with the adults, but also has to pay for the extra bed. At that time, only one room could accommodate an extra bed, so the second room explained that it was going to the front desk. On the second day, when the staff arrived at the front desk, the staff said I have to pay an extra bed fee of 55 euros. This price is too casual. It happens that I have a Chinese family checking out. They have an 8-year-old child who stays together and chats with them to know that their children are with them. I slept together and didn't pay for the extra bed. After that, I found the hotel manager. The hotel manager said that the family paid the extra bed fee. We have to pay the fee. Does anyone pay the money and tell me that I have not paid? This kind of difference treatment can't be tolerated, so I contacted Ctrip to request to unsubscribe for the next 2 nights, only stayed for 2 nights. At this time, the hotel attitude changed, saying that we can not charge this fee, let us continue to stay, can the charges be so free? It is recommended that families with children carefully consider staying at this hotel. In addition, although it is a hotel, no slippers are provided, no water is provided, hot water is hot and cold, and facilities are not available.
0.32km from Coff...The apartment we had was very nicely decorated and very clean. It was surprisingly spacious. The small kitchen was well equipped, with everything you might need for a quick dinner. The building is very baby-friendly and a supermarket is literally right next door. There is also a bakery nearby. Rocafort station is very close, but we walked almost everywhere. If you are in a good shape, or do not mind walking too much, you can even avoid the public transport. We were there with a baby, but walking was not an issue. We were tired indeed in the end, but it was worth it. :) Breakfast was good, staff were friendly. We asked for a room on the upper floor with a view to the backyard to avoid the noise that could come from the street. It is exactly what we received, so thanks for listening to our request. The room was almost next to the elevator (I've read on Tripadvisor that noise from other guests and the elevator can be unpleasant), but this was not an issue for us. We were there in February and the temperature in the room was perfect. The only reason I'm not rating it excellent is because the bathroom could use a bit of renovation and we would have liked to have a few more vegetables for breakfast, as well as a few more baby-friendly options. But even so, we would definitely come back and stay here again if we are to come to Barcelona once again.

0.33km from Coff...We arrived unexpectedly late due to Issues re transport strike in France and we did not have wifi or mobile data so did not get email message that reception would be closed and that there was an entry code to main doors but happily some fellow guests let us in and we were able to use the automated check in system in lobby to retrieve apartment keys. If you are in same situation, suggest contacting the hotel in advance to get code if possible. We were here for 3 nights and luckily booked directly with the website as I made a mistake with the dates but the hotel switched these for us immediately with no fuss and no fee despite my reservation being non- refundable - truly appreciated! Lovely apartment and very quiet and comfortable. Walkable to Plaza Espanya and also The Ramblas but also very convenient to metro. We bought 10 trip metro passes 'casual' which can be used by multiple persons still until March but after then you will need to purchase a family ticket if needed for more than one person. Breakfast was a welcome freebie with bread, cereal, milk and juice. There are a couple of supermarkets and a good bakery within a few minutes walk away.
0.35km from Coff...I stayed at 2 different hotels in Barcelona because I traveled to San Sebastian for a few days in the middle of the trip. And I definitely wished I had just rebooked Hotel Catalonia Gran Via when I returned to the city. It's a cute hotel, very conveniently located, and great restaurants close by. I used Aerobus to get from the airport to the hotel, and the bus stop was just 2 blocks (2 minute walk) to the hotel. I was amazed at how smoothly it went as my flight had been delayed and I didn't arrive till close to midnight. Staff was friendly and nice, the room clean, and although the hotel is located on a major street, it wasn't noisy at all and felt very safe. If or when I return to Barcelona, I would stay here again.
0.35km from Coff...We stayed in Hostal Live Barcelona for the second time and I will stay there every time I will visit Barcelona. My family and I stayed there from New Year to the second of January, unfortunately we were sick during our visit. Rachel was amazing she did everything and above to meet our needs. Thank you so much for these two days. Rachel was caring and extremely helpful. When we visit Barcelona again .. and we will do it for sure .. then we will stay there. Great location very close to all attractions and public transportation ( Urgell metro 1 minute walking, Airport bus less than 5 minutes walk, La Rambla less than 5 min, plaza Espanya 10 minutes away. ) Rooms are simple but clean and staff is great and very helpful. Thank you Rachel and hostal Live. We will see you soon. Renata
0.37km from Coff...Rooms are nice, designer-chic..probably looked amazing when it opened, these days you can see some wear&tear, but that's cosmetics. The rooms are still really good! Noisy? It's Sant Antoni, baby ;). I actually enjoyed the soundscape, but that's a matter of taste. The neighbourhood is edgy (some might say sketchy) and the hotel is right across lively and cool "Bar Ramon". Sant Antoni Market is a minute away. It's not a resort, it's an amazingly well-located hotel in one of the most vibrant neighbourhoods of the city. Staff was helpful&professional.
0.42km from Coff...I had a very pleasant stay in Hostal Balkonis even if I had some problems with the electricity every day, but we all know that it may happens :-) The room was just next the reception so I heard all the phone conversations, all the check-ins and check-outs, the people walking outside in the corridor and the door between the hall and the rooms, just next to mine, was so noisy during the night, if available try to ask a different room at the reservation time. All the staff is helpful and makes your stay comfortable, immediately tried to resolve all the problems even if were not their fault. Position is excellent, you're 2 minutes far from Sant Antoni metro station and 5 minutes far from the Urgell one. In the proximity you'll find everything you need (ATM, pharmacies, supermarkets, bar and restaurants...). I wanna thank once again all the boys and girls (and the jefe, of course!) for givin' me such a great welcome. Sure I'll book here again!

0.44km from Coff...From the moment we arrived at the hotel to when we left it was a fantastic experience. The staff were really friendly and always happy to help you with ideas of places to visit , restaurants to have tasty meals and ways to get around Barcelona . With all the news at the weekend the reception staff were very informative of the current news bulletins and willing to assist us where every needed. The room was clean - beds very comfortable bathroom very modern , we were given tea and coffee facilities on arrival . Safe in the room which was excellent as I believe that the city has a lot of thefts . Lovely roof terrace which has a view over the city where you can chill out and there is a bar open during the summer months and a small dip pool. The hotel is situated in a great location , really had a great time exploring the city. Would love to return back.
Hotels Near Coff... In Barcelona Review
Fortunately, I chose this hotel at the beginning, and I was quite satisfied with it, especially the Chinese staff and comfortable beds. Would recommend to friends.
Location: It is about 30 minutes by taxi from the airport and the price is about 35 Euros. Going to the airport can ask the front desk for help. There are two supermarkets within 100 meters from the entrance and turning left. The medium-sized (much larger than 7-11) has everything in stock, especially the second one is more complete! Closed on Sundays, the slightly larger one is open until 21:30. Because there are so many thieves in the subway, the whole process is mainly walking and taxiing. The subway station does not know how far away. It is about a 10-minute walk from Casa Mila and Casa Batlló, and nearby (15-minute walk) there are Chinese food and a super delicious shop.
Hygiene, facilities: Very clean, two bottles of free mineral water every day, and non-heavy chocolates on the pillow. The bed was comfortable, not hard or soft, and the quilt was particularly comfortable. Hangers, disposable slippers, disposable toiletries, kettle, refrigerator, safe are all available, and there is a mini pool and gym upstairs. Fruits and discount cards were also given on the first day of stay.
Service: the best! On the first day, the front desk was assisted by a young Chinese service man who helped bring luggage to the room and sent us a map to introduce the location of the attractions. I can basically meet him in the next few days, greet him warmly, and asked him many questions, I really appreciate it! The service is also highly recommended for this hotel.
Some suggestions: The shelf in the bathroom will touch the arm, the air conditioner in the room will respond slowly, and both pieces of the bathrobe will be damaged.
What an amazing Hotel it should be 5 star! It was a little off putting when we arrived as there was a small homeless camp outside, but there was no bother from any of them, and once inside it was soon forgotten about! On arrival, check in was quick and we were offered a welcome drink, Cava for us and water for my daughter, she also received a H10 teddy and a sweet! The lovely man checking us in (i'm so sorry i forgot your name) noticed it was my 30th Birthday that day and gave us a room upgrade to a suite. The view from this room was unbelievably awesome with a window the full length of the room! The bed was huge and so comfy, the bathroom was well stocked with every toiletry/accessory you'd need and had a jacuzzi bath! The coffee machine in the room was brilliant. We had a cocktail at the bar which was good, and although a bit expensive was the same price as most in the area. One downside was the outdoor rooftop pool wasn't heated which meant although it was open, it was far too cold to use! Lovely seating area up there though which we made use of. A huge thank you to the hotel for the delivery in the evening to our room of Cava, Chocolate Mousse, sweets, cookies and chocolate covered strawberries, The room upgrade was more than enough, and this was so unexpected, what a lovely way to end my birthday! In the morning we were able to watch the sunrise from our bed with a coffee which was very lovely! Breakfast was incredible, nothing was missing, all well stocked and nothing ever ran out! Check Out was super quick and we were able to leave our bags for a few hours before we moved to our next hotel. Biggest downside about our stay was it was only for 1 night, we wished we had booked for longer!
I travelled with my children and we had a superior room with three separate beds. The room was spacious and we had a view of the beach across the road. I have given five stars as the hotel delivers what it sets out to. The staff were very helpful before I travelled, as well as during our stay. I liked that they sent me a survey whilst I was there. We had assumed the air conditioning was not working because we travelled offseason. We were offered an upgrade, which we did not take, however, we did get a fan and this helped a lot.The staff also helped me book tickets online, checked us in early. Customer service was excellent. The restaurants nearby are excellent, for breakfast, lunch, dinner whatever you prefer. There is a shopping centre nearby which a great variety of food, we chose the tapas.
We spent 5 days in Barcelona over Christmas 2019. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast at the little restaurant was really good with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. The room on the other hand was disappointing. The beds definitely need to be replaced. My partner and I had two single beds pushed together and both beds were hollow in the middle. Our room overlooked Avinguda del Paral.lel and it was incredibly noisy at night. There was a lot of ambulance activity in the street. The room was really small with a minute wardrobe to hang clothing in. We had no hot water in the shower on the first day (middle of December), this problem was sorted out the next day thankfully. Tea/coffee and sugar was supplied only the first day and then again two days later (after I had gone to buy coffee, sugar and milk). No milk or creamer is supplied. I do not understand why. No proper cups or mugs were supplied. Only two paper cups which one obviously can not re-use. My partner hurt his ankle and I ordered ice to put on the sprain. We were charged for the tiny bucket of ice! We were quite surprised that the hotel has a 4 star rating. Other than the room the hotel is quite central and we did enjoy our time in Barcelona.
Stayed here for three nights in July. We ended up here by accident after our original hotel cancelled, but couldn’t have worked out better. The junior suite is generous by any hotel’s standards and the bathroom is excellent. The hotel is really well located, and we more or less walked everywhere. You can walk to the really nice restaurant district of Born and the beach very easily as well. The staff were really helpful and couldn’t do enough for you, despite the challenging circumstances all hotels find themselves in at the moment. The rooftop bar is the highlight though, with stunning views across the city, great cocktails and and a great soundtrack. Sitting in the pool and then having drinks up there was a highlight of the holiday. We especially enjoyed the rooftop bar’s ‘Instagram corner’ where bored but clearly well trained boyfriends/husbands would take 847 pictures of a partner pouting at various different angles or acrobatic poses. The one woman dance routine on one occasion was a little much though. Maybe we’re just too British. When things return to normal (please!) we will definitely be back. Strongly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a bit of style and luxury in their holiday. Special shout out to the reception staff who were very patient with my Spanish! It made me feel much more competent than I am.
We stayed in the Penthouses the weekend the Coronavirus lockdown started, and we can honestly say all the staff we encountered at the hotel were more than friendly, welcoming and helpful. We also really liked that every member of the hotel team always introduced themselves when we spoke to them. We arrived late at night and were greeted by the extremely friendly front of house staff, which also included Helio, who showed us to our fantastic penthouse. We loved the amazing surprise for our son and the lovely cards and welcome gifts. On Saturday the first Coronavirus restrictions were imposed and the staff in the restaurant, front of house, as well as housekeeping were dealing with all the changes so well and were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast staff in the Bites cafe did their utmost to make our breakfast experience special. On Sunday the lockdown started and again, all of the staff kept us informed of the changing conditions and made our stay as great as could be under the circumstances. We also were able to be flexible with our late checkout, which was fantastic and so helpful. Especially the Penthouses team and Mehdi were brilliant, as well as Hermione. A big thank you to all the staff, who must have also been worried about their own families. We would love to come back another time, when the world has gone back to normal. Until then, please all stay safe and healthy!
