A taxi from the station is very close, there are many restaurants within walking distance. The hotel itself is good, the price is acceptable but the problem is that the actual charge does not match the time of booking, and no receipt or confirmation of the order has been received.

The nursing is beautiful, however the rooms are very small. This type of room is more expected in New York or Paris size wise yet we are in San Jose. There are virtually no reminisces of a regular Westin hotel in regard to what they provide. There is a restaurant on site, however no room service. You have bottles of shampoo attached to the wall in the shower yet no lotion anywhere…just small things like this that stand out. The A/C system is extremely loud too, cleaning of room, which we had to ask for, is hit and miss too, one day is bare minimum and next day its great. I am aware of staffing issue these days, however if you provide the service, it should be consistent. We decided to have some wine one evening in our room and even tho numerous people were still sitting in the restaurant we were not able to purchase the bottle to take up to our room. They were ‘closed’. We were directed to go purchase from the restaurant down the street. I gave it an extra star than I normally would because the front desk staff was very friendly and nice.

John Southwell, the general manager and Sandy the front desk manager really know how to run this flagship. JW Marriott it could be mistaken for. I wrote Dorothy, Bill Marriott's wife on Sandy's of their personal touch. From the moment you arrive, until you leave, you will sense an ambience not felt in any other Marriott. A female valet for one. Hotel occupies a corner lot. As a privileged member you can enjoy breakfast and the managers reception in a private key entry lounge. But wait, the pantry or I call it a mini Kroger's is the largest around. Manned of two attractive Filipina ladies, Sandy is a mother of a 22 year old daughter if you can believe that. Starbucks is present. Besides everything you could gastronomically desire, clothes, books and fine wine are yours. Most pantry hotel wines are not that good, but John Southwell is the exception to the common managers. I was upgraded too a suite. I tried to talk Sandy out of it. It was late I only wanted to sleep, not enjoy the morning view as the sun rises. But Sandy was insistent. Can you remember when you won a argument with your wife? Sandy's smile melted my resistance. She trains all at the front desk. Look at the pics I took. Hopefully they are right side up as AI sometimes errors. Plenty of room in the lobby to get lost. Spacious panes of glass walls. Sorry the restaurant is closed, but dining in the bar area substitutes very nicely. Elevators are unbreakable Otis, fast and quiet too. No need to fumble with your door key to reach your floor. Ice machines that work on every floor. Microwave is in the pantry area. A microwave in the room can ad odors. Valets swiftly park your car. Safety is assured as all are garaged. Garage I believe is under the hotel. The Fairmount remains closed, once the flagship of San Jose. This Marriott has taken it's place. Even the normal room is excellent. Bathrooms spice and span. Proper lighting, toilets do not overflow or remain running. Towels are very soft to ones touch. Carpeting feels like carpeting both in the hallways and the rooms. Soft, so soft you almost dare not to put on your shoes. A/C is fine, not perfect as global warming was not engineered in the plans. It is quiet which is not the case of many brands. Controls are also the easiest to use. One red arrow for heat, blue for cold. How disappointing with some ticket science controls that require a printed format next to them to operate them. In the dark without glasses one can become totally lost. The blind leading the blind, is what some managers do today. No proper education or much training. Hotel is popular with business ladies, the most I have ever seen. That says much, dies it not. With the glass ceiling shattered women, are ruling the world. Look at our vice president. President, you will feel like staying here.

Fortunately this hotel is remedying some of its issues--an awkwardly laid out first floor and a pretty average buffet-style breakfast. In its favor is its great downtown location, spotlessly clean facilities and excellent bedding. My TV had tons of channels and worked very well. I enjoyed the Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries and my room was quiet and comfortable. Staff went out of their way to assist however possible. Yes, the homeless are on the streets, but I was never approached or made to feel uncomfortable or unsafe. I walked everywhere and enjoyed great area restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

For a Hilton property, I was pretty under-impressed… they have 3 lobby elevators that are pretty unique in that it tells you which specific elevator to take. Sounds great, timesaving, and upgraded…but realistically… I timed from the moment I pushed the button to when the elevator came, 11 mins. Don’t be in a rush or waiting for a car, you’ll miss it! My room was ok, standard room but they took my fridge out that we asked for specifically. All rooms are to have fridges. Asked for another one, they said in two days they could provide one. Also, my AC. More like what AC? My temp was set at 60° and I bet them temperature never went below 74°. Also, if there’s a convention in town, best of luck to ya! It’s a mess! I will note a positive, the water pressure & temperature is outstanding! Great hotel shower! Add the steam from the shower to the 74° room and you’ll have a nice sauna in your room the whole day.

Stayed here for 4 nights due to a conference at the convention center. Pros - very close to convention center, clean room, comfortable bed. Cons - poor internet that I had to connect to multiple times and would disconnect without warning (hard to work...), breakfast very limited, on the edge of the downtown area so restaurants and other amenities were farther than other hotels. Noise from downtown area even on 7th floor. Area of downtown is a bit run down, although there is also massive construction in area so may improve with time. Corridors and elevator were not very clean.

When we arrived (in a TRIP from LA) we asked to use the restroom. They do not have a restroom to be used. You have to use your room restroom. The checkin process took 90 minutes (yes: 90 minutes). The person has no training on how to use the computer. She did not organized a line for the checkin. People arrived and she just bypass those that were waiting for the checkin earlier. After 90 minutes she gave us a room upstairs saying that there were no rooms available on the ground floor. After carrying all the baggage (4 people - including to children) upstairs, we entered the room and there was a strong smell of cigaret smoking (the hotel says it's smoking free). We came back to the checkin and, after 20' more minutes she gave us a room on the ground floor. We entered the room and SAME PROBLEM. Strong cigaret smoke smelling. We were just too tired to go to another hotel and we decided to spend the night at this location. Turned the heat on and a smell of wired/plastic burn started. Tuner heat despite the cold weather. The carpet was dirty and the sheets smells cigaret. In the middle of the night a car alarm started buzzing in front our our room. What a nightmare. They offer "breakfast" however the breakfast is served in the checkin room. No tables, no chairs, only a 2 seats sofa. What a nightmare. Thanks god I spent only one night at this place. Terrible and very expensive. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Fortunately I only spent one night here. I was surprised by the lack of basic service and amenities: Before my arrival, I used the chat feature to ask about parking but never received a response. Upon arrival, the employee at the front desk was unfriendly and charged me for parking without my consent. I asked about parking, making clear I was trying to decide whether to park my car at the hotel or somewhere else. She told me it was $35 for in and out privileges, I asked how much it would cost to park directly in the lot (since I did not need to go in and out) and she said "I think it's $22 but just bring me your ticket" in a pretty rude tone. I was taken aback by her tone so I did not continue to engage in the conversation and I did not respond confirming I wanted parking, expecting I would pay directly with the lot, and later learned she charged me $35 anyway, plus a $5 tax she did not mention. No acknowledgement of Marriott Gold status, no upgrade, no explanation. I don't know if I received a welcome gift. The air conditioning in my room was not working, and there was a comically large plastic fan next to the TV. When I arrived to my room at 10 PM it was 80 degrees, so the fan was useful but I feel like they should probably fix the air conditioning or at least warn the occupant that it's broken. I would not stay here again.

We needed a place to stay while buttoning up our apartment here in SouthBay, and I had always been curious about the Aloft hotels. Curiosity cured. Probably won’t stay at this particular location again, but I’m sure other properties are okay. Pro’s: - We found a new-to-us restaurant - It was clean - Right off the highway for easy arrival & departure - Toilets provide a powerful flush - Comfy-ish beds/pillows Con’s - The Pot smell in the elevator - I’m pretty sure No smoking of any kind is permitted, so I hope whichever room that guest is staying in, they pay an extra cleaning fee - The train - yep it runs past (Frequently) sounding horn, and it’s loud - No dining - this one I don’t get.. other restaurants in the area are back open to some capacity. I recently stayed at another Marriott property & we could order then pick it up & take it to our room, I feel there is room for improvement here - Free Wifi?? - Marriott usually has secured Wifi. Free if you’re a Marriott member. Offering unsecured Wifi was not helpful. My Corp devices would not work & I needed to teether from my phone - The website under room amenities, it mentions complimentary bottles water. Nope... but you can buy bottled water downstairs for $2/ea. - Shower products - The Bliss products were anything but Bliss. I will be using my own products moving forward. Please stop using Shampoo/Conditioner combos! They are not good. - I put on some new white socks and as I walked around the room, I noticed that my socks turned dark brown… carpets might need a cleaning - And last but not least... Stompy-Stomperson upstairs... unfortunately the rooms are not that quiet All-in-all, we should have slept out last nights in our apartment in the floor and saved the $$

Even during COVID-19 -- Marriott Residence Inn was a great stay! I always prefer to stay at Marriott Residence Inn when I travel -- because these rooms are "mini condos" with bed, kitchen, living room, and laundromat. This stay was different -- I just wanted to have some quiet time from family during COVID-19. I'm on Weight Watchers -- so being able to bring + cook my own food worked for me when I didn't go out to eat. I was fortunate to get a room on the end -- so it was quiet which I liked. Usually this hotel room has plates, pots, pans, utensils -- all that you need in a kitchen -- but it was all taken out. I was glad to use my own plates, pans + utensils. Better safe. If I needed anything - hotel staff was just a phone call away. The hardest part was parking -- it was packed because we couldn't go anywhere during COVID-19 shutdown, even beaches were closed.

Had no choice but to stay in this overpriced hotel. Cost me a literal fortune for 4 nights nights' stay. Breakfast to go was utterly worthless considering the price - coffee, yoghurt and a croissant is not what I call breakfast options. Thankfully breakfast was also served offsite. Be aware that everything, EVERYTHING, in the room has a price tag on it and the are shameless at it too. I was surprised the soap i used didn't get added to my bill and good luck if you want fresh in-room coffee and your bed made everyday - don't get me i understand: COVID. At least warn people this is the case. Moving on. Check-in. Don't hand over your card to them unless you want - instantly - to be debited for your full stay. Instantly. I wasn't warned by work and thought it was not going to be charged. Needless to say there went $1,367.20. Poof. No warning, nada. Long term stay advice - eat elsewhere and drink there for sure. I had room service. Sounded like a nice idea until the food arrived. I got a "de-constructed" cesar salad. Wow. Just Wow. I was horrified by it. Ate the lettuce. and nibbled on a cruton. Disappointment really set in when i started eating the "Bone-In" (as advertised) Boneless chicken breasts which were shaped identically in size and formation - clearly NOT organic free-range chicken as advertised. I ate a small amount and pushed it aside as i couldn't stomach more of the horrific tasting food. Overall, steer clear unless you have money to burn and don't care about dirty rooms, and lights that work at the entrance alone. All interior lighting was broken and did not work. Seriously - go elsewhere - you will regret staying at this place like i do sitting here feeling like i have COVID.

When we arrived at the hotel we were told that the airport shuttle only worked from 4:30am to 7:30am!!! I suppose that this schedule must be useful to very few people... we insisted that we had taken the hotel only for this service that they obviously did not offer, so the two receptionists told us that in the morning we could ask for an American Cub, since the hotel would take care of this service, but the next morning there was a different receptionist who told us that all that was not true! that we had to pay for the american cub, the same receptionist did not let us make any claim or contact with the supervisor to clarify the issue, as we had to get to the airport we had to agree to take the american cub that the receptionist called, 20 dollars for a 7 minute ride, I had never been lied to and treated so badly in a hotel! What a shame!

Anna Page is amazing! She is very helpful and friendly and all staff members we talked to were helpful and friendly. The hotel on Silicon Valley Road is in a great neighborhood and there’s a trail nearby where you can take a stroll. The prices for rooms are great – I think motels in sketchy areas charge more! When our family comes to visit, they choose to stay here too. And they don’t charge for parking like most other hotels. The lobby is updated and they have drinks/food/snacks for purchase at a reasonable cost ($1 for bottled water). I’ve never had an issue staying here and the rooms were clean. Great stay for a great price!

This is a typical Quality Inn, but different due to its location. Montegue Expressway is a bustling light industrial area during the day but there is no traffic at night, which makes all the rooms quiet and restful. There are however, absolutely no restaurants or bars anywhere nearby, just a Subway about a mile away across 880 in a Chevron gas station. There is a Valero gas station next door that said it had a food mart, but that's it, so bring your own food and wine and take advantage of the mini fridge and microwave. Also get an upstairs room as you can hear footsteps from above.

I stayed for over a week and I can think of several improvements. 1) Why are guests not provided with water? How exactly am I supposed to arrange a drinking water supply? The only way I was able to get some water was by physically going to the reception and asking for some water bottles. I asked for the room service to send it to my room and they said that won't be possible. 2) Hand-wash is an absolute essential. Giving me a small bar of soap is not going to help. Once the soap is wet, is gets so gross. It is just not good customer experience. 3) The room and lobby carpets are decades old. Also the in-room couch looks so old from wear and tear. The hotel is in need of an immediate renovation, 4) The in-room air heater/conditioner was broken. 5) The TV in my room was certainly a decade old. Also which TV network are you guys using, it just had 25 channels. 6) The in-room dining is almost non-existent. I have to physically go to the only restaurant operating in the hotel and have to order food, because no one picks up the phone. On their website they have listen many dining options, but only one is operational and that too isn't available 24 hours. Most high-end hotels now have a 24 hours dining option available on-site. 7) The bed gave me a backache. The staff was however friendly. The room interiors and lobby look as if they were made in the 2000s.

You might think clean and functional are basic for a hotel. But more often than not, in any other hotels you stayed before, you could be standing in dirty water while you were taking a shower because the drainage was half blocked. Or you were struggling with the water level because the sprinkle was clogged. This hotel doesn’t have any of the problems at all. Everything works as expected. And it’s clean, which is not surprising, since a functional hotel means a good management & staffing behind

A lot more than what meets the eye when you first pull in! Rooms were very spacious, breakfast was ok except they didn't have the waffle machine working that was sitting on there on the counter, which was kind of big bummer. They also have a full bar but it was closed for whatever reason and not stocked at all. The breakfast and bar were the main reasons we booked this hotel too. Oh and one last thing, someone at the front desk apparently "accidentally" set off the FIRE ALARM in the entire hotel. At about 1:30AM the fire alarm sirens started blaring. I didn't smell smoke and didn't see or hear any panic when I went outside. I came out of our room and looked down the hallways and there was NO ONE to be found... Searched around (all while deafening sirens are blaring right outside our door) at 1AM and all of a sudden, after about 5 or so minutes of frantically trying to find a fire or anything, the sirens stopped. Extremely confused and also a bit irritated at 2am, we called the front desk after not hearing anything from anyone about if we were in danger or not. They answered finally and we told them that the fire alarm had been going off... The front desk person said "Yes, we know, we took care of it." Like it's a normal occurrence and we should've known I guess... So, confused again, we asked "Sooo, was it just an accident?" And all they replied with was "Yes." Without so much as an apology. And that was that So, be prepared, if staying here, that might happen! Just forewarning. 🤷

We needed an overnight between flights. I had difficulty finding a reasonable room with a shuttle. I was apprehensive of the Comfort Suites because the pictures look a little down-scale. BUT, we found the hotel to be very comfortable, clean, welcoming. Our room was large. The bed was ultra-comfortable. And, the breakfast was great. The lobby is small and the exterior of the building is not fancy but everything that counts is top of the line. I highly recommend this as a great choice.

The room was clean and well appointed. They are in the midst of some construction - which was not a problem at all. The only negative was the fact that they are bordered on two sides by what looked to be an auto junkyard and some sort of cement building supplier with lots of piles of cement 'things'. They can't do anything about this...but it's really ugly. Also my human neighbors were a bit noisy until about 10 PM which did affect my sleep quality.

I booked our three-night stay on Hotels.com, where the listing advertised, among other things, daily housekeeping and a free airport shuttle. Neither of these were provided. The employees tried to blame county Covid rules. Look, I understand gym access being restricted, but housekeeping and the airport shuttle are not prohibited (I checked), and could be conducted safely if protocols are followed. Also, the lobby and all entrances were closed, so we had to walk through another hotel to get to Springhill Suites. The parking garage elevator was also broken, which means that unless we found ground-level parking (it was always full), we had to take the stairs with our luggage to the other hotel’s lobby, then walk through the other hotel to get to our building’s interior elevator. When I confronted hotel personnel they apologized and complained about being short staffed. I asked if I could get a refund, even a partial one, since the listing I paid for included a shuttle, daily housekeeping, and working elevators, but was told that “for this nightly rate, no refunds could be given.” Solid customer service. Bottom line, this hotel is a wreck and I wouldn’t recommend staying there unless the above problems are corrected. If services cannot be provided for any reason, the listing on Hotels.com should be updated. At the time of writing this review, it still lists daily housekeeping and a free airport shuttle. Look for yourself, and call before booking. Marriott, you are in the hospitality business. I hope you get your act together. If you need to make temporary changes to services offered, at least keep your advertising up to date.

Came to celebrate daughter's 6th birthday with some family. Booked more than a week out with Ray and asked for adjoining rooms. I asked for one king room and one room with two queen beds. I was told we needed the same type of room to get adjoining rooms so I agreed. Not true. Exact opposite in fact. Upon checking in, I was told we'd have had a better chance if we asked for one king room and one with two queen beds, which is what I wanted originally. None of that mattered though because I was told there were no adjoining rooms available. Then I was asked if I had called that morning to check the availability of adjoining rooms, like that was something I was supposed to do to ensure I got what I wanted. I was never told to call the morning of my reservation. I was also never told about the $200 extra charge per room for incidentals. My total for two rooms, one night was ridiculous for a place like this. I was told I would get it back but what if I didn't have the extra $400 to pay for this hidden charges on both rooms? That is unacceptable, deceitful, and beyond misleading if you ask me. I also said we were coming for my daughter's 6th birthday and I was told there would be something special for the birthday girl. This was also written in my notes by Ray who booked my reservation because I booked directly through Marriott. There was nothing special for her, there were no adjoining room for her grandparents so she could run back and forth to her mom and grandmother. What was supposed to be a special occasion turned out to be a very frustrating, deceptive, and sad hotel stay for a child's 6th birthday celebration. If you want to stay here for a celebration or event, don't get your hopes up. Will not be returning.

From the other reviews, we must have stayed at different hotels. The hotel was cute from the outside, but the room had several problems: * Loose pet food scattered on floor indicated that it wasn't vacuumed thoroughly * What appeared to be cigarette burns in the blanket (small, round holes) * Stained/dirty bed cover * Dangerously frayed wiring on the sconce bedside light The last was the worst, since it made me genuinely afraid. I found it in the morning when I unplugged my CPAP. Had I found it the previous evening, I would have called the desk. I told the desk clerk the issues and that the lamp was the one thing that HAD to be fixed immediately. She was genuinely sorry to hear about the experience and gave me a card to call the manager the next week (this was on a Saturday). When I did, the manager asked to call me back and then never did.

This was literally the worst, most TERRIBLE "Inn" I've been to in my entire life. The first clue should have been when they handed me a huge, actual key that fit in the entire palm of my hand . Entering the room was a shock as the furniture was dingy and OLD and creeky. 1980's T.V didn't work. Noisy (people yelling and grunting from outside. Not even kidding you guys...this room was SKETCH. I was flying out early the next morning so I convinced myself I just needed a spot to land my head for the night. The bed...omg..the bed...and the pillows..GOOD.GOD.NO. As I tried to fall asleep, I was startled out of bed (11:15pm) by a homeless man POUNDING on my door and screaming to let him in so that he could shower. I'm not even kidding right now. I thought there were two men because when I shouted, "wrong room" there was a "conversation" that sounded like two men. Now, the door is so old and thin, you can see the light from the outside through its perimeter and feel a breeze. The window, paper thin. I was TERRIFIED as it was only me and my daughter. I scrambled to find the phone, which was from 1980 (NO LIE)..there was no option to call the front desk. It felt like a dream where you're trying to get somewhere but cant move. The pounding and screaming continued and my daughter and I were TERRIFIED. I had to google the number to the hotel and call directly to the front desk. No answer. I had to resort to calling 911 to report two men outside my door. My daughter looked out of the peep hole and saw only one man who was talking to himself. Dispatch asked me a few questions and got off the phone with me. The man stayed for about 15 more minutes just talking to himself and trying to talk to who he believed was on my side of the room. He finally walked away. I'm not sure if they police ever even came, as they didn't knock on my door or call me. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! BAD VIBES ALL THE WAY AROUND!!

I have stayed at this place a few times. However, when I booked through hotwire I booked a king bed. However, I received two double beds instead. The room I last stayed in was run down, and the air conditioner wasn't working at first. It looked like it was coming off the wall. In the past I've stayed there and by walking around on the carpet my feet turned black. The place smelled of cigarettes at times and ****.

Generally, the conditions of the motel are not good enough to go there, there are basic facilities, you can wash your bath, you can sleep for one night, don't have too high requirements.

Ok so first of all the only reason i booked here was because of the good reviews but now i feel like those reviews are fake. I give it two stars because overall it was clean the bed was made there was toilet paper. But the door had a footprint like it was kicked when we already got there. The restroom door was broken like shown in the pic. This place is so sketchy full of wierdos. It was 1am and the ppl below me wouldnt let me sleep with their loud yelling and music. Around 3am a crazy guy started to kick the window of the next door room yelling and fighting to open up. I was so scared i am never staying here again. The bed got me super itchy all over my body i think there was bed bugs idk . The shower wouldnt stay on hot it kept getting cold. The tiles were falling apart and the bathtup was squicky i felt like i was gonna break it. I feel like this hotel is really old and falling apart but they try to cover it up. A guy was just looking at me biting his lip and blowing me kisses this place is surrounded by creepy guys.

We came as a family outing. This hotel is very close to SJC and within walking distance to great restaurants with Asian, western, and Ethiopian flavors! We tried them all. It's also close to downtown SJ, which hosts the famous Tech Interactive Museum, The Egyptian Rosicrucian Museum, and the beautiful Rose Garden. The rose garden was a rather disappointing experience because we came in winter! No rose, silly us. But we got to play pickleball a bit at the pickleball court behind the Herbert Hoover Middle School.

My husband and I have been coming here for a few years now . All the staff has always made us feel so welcome but the one that really stands out is Debenncy. I recognize her attributes and she’s honest and sincere and goes out of her way to make sure whatever it is you may need- that it’s handled . It’s rare to meet people that do things from their heart and actually care and when you find it it’s definitely appreciated. Debenncy gives her job 100%. I would also like to mention the one employee that’s a “ handy man” , he’s been working there since we have been coming here. He needs to learn that he’s no better then any one else and the way he acts is extremely ugly. We all hopefully learn in this life that we are all people and equal and until your perfect then you can judge the next . Thank you Motel 6 you all are appreciated!!

The hotel was nice and clean . I would have giving it 5 stars had it not been for a lady named Efren in guest services. I have never felt so disrespected and treated like garbage by someone who’s job is hospitality. Even check out time is 12 a cleaning walked right in! No knocking. But that’s not my major issue. That lady Efren made me feel worthless and I need to speak to a manager ASAP to discuss the full details becuz this is unheard of! To even yell n raise ur voice to a customer?!? I wasn’t rude or irate. I just had a question and concern. I will be sharing this experience on every platform, social media, even the better business bureau. No one deserves this treatment. I’m so upset and my anxiety is in high gear. Thanks to efren I will have a sleepless night because I’m very upset. There’s plenty more to add. I’d rather speak to a manger or someone who will not let it fall on death ears. I know there’s a lot of reviews that come in but this not only needs to be FULLY addressed but I truly deserve a sincere apologies for this huge negative effect. There’s as many hotels around you’d think this place would value the ones they have. I’d even put up with the cleaning lady walking In unannounced and before checkout. She even apologized. I hate the distance to Santa Cruz from this hotel and we passed quite a few others. So I don’t know what manager is doing or are aware of this but it’s unacceptable. Even if it just happened once. I treally really would appreciate a response. And please not a generic response. I apologize if I come across stern. I’m not. I’m total opposite. I’m just really really upset and offended

As a healthcare professional responding to the San Jose Covid crisis, I resided for three months at San Jose extended stay America Edenvale south. Upon my arrival, perfect Covid precautions were taken, including cleansing my license with an alcohol pad prior to handing it back to me and providing me with gloves and a mask. Each day the staff cleansed all touchable surfaces, doorhandles, elevator buttons and even exterior sides of the doors down the hallways. The frontline essential staff of this ESA maintained a healthy and clean environment so that I to stayed healthy. They were always kind and greeted me with smiles and kind words each day. It has been a pleasure spending time here making this place a temporary home.

We stayed for one night while going to an Earthquakes match at PayPal stadium. All staff were very friendly. We took an UBER to a BJ's Brewhouse for dinner, close by. We then took an UBER to PayPal Stadium. This hotel is conveniently located to many restaurants. The room was clean and they had a breakfast in the morning. The breakfast was a standard hotel breakfast with eggs, bacon, potatoes, breads, yogurts, cereal, etc. My son loved the coffee machine in the lobby available 24 hours. It has 8 options for drinks with things like espresso and his favorite hot chocolate. I would highly recommend this hotel for a stay over in San Jose.
