Aurora
|4.99km from city centerIn the early hours of the morning, I couldn't sleep for a few hours. I chose the cheapest hotel that can pick up and drop off the plane. There is no high expectation. After staying, I feel pretty good, clean, quiet, and delivered at 3:00 in the middle of the night, satisfied.

|4.82km from city centerWe held a meeting at the location during the last week in June. First, let me say that the staff were fantastic, but the facility was not. First, my room and several others smelled of cigarette smoke. The smell was so bad that my spouse noticed the odor on the clothes in my suitcase when I came home. Several other attendees notice mold in the bathrooms. The high speed internet in the meeting space, for which we paid did not work and could not be fixed. The bar was understaffed during the busy 5-7 pm period, resulting in waits of 15 minutes or longer just to order a beer.

|6.36km from city centerWe found a good rate here for 92.00 w tax. When we walked in hotel we were greeted by Quevette at the front desk. We did not have a reservation and she was most pleasant anyway. She made a special trip up to the 3rd floor to check to see if a room was ready. when she returned she explained just a 15 minute wait and we could ck-in as it was before the 3:00 pm check in time- We were very weary travelers on our way home from visiting Colorado Rockies, Grand Tetons Yellowstone Little Bighorn Memorial Park, Devils Tower, Deadwood, Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Badlands, Wall drugs, and Hot Springs SD. We were tired. Quevette advised if the room was not satisfactory to let her know and she will arrange another room. The room was clean comfortable and next day we had free breakfast and off to the airport- Hotel is 20 - 30 minutes from airport ….Good place to stay but hotel could use some touch ups.

|18.27km from city centerStaff above average, room as expected, property clean. What made this a poor experience is the worst shower in I have ever run into in all my Marriott visits (100+ a year). The shower head was at the ceiling, a person would have to be nearly 6ft tall to adjust it. The shower head itself sprayed in a wide circle. Someone short, like me, had water around me but not actually hitting me. I was either getting burned or freezing, no middle ground. Getting ready for the conference took twice as long as it should have because of this situation. Very unfortunate.

|6.69km from city centerAfter reading reviews I was very hesitant about booking but let me tell you when I arrived the staff was prompt and accommodating for early check-in ($10 fee.) Girls made sure my room was clean and ready also to the back so I was close to the light rail walking. I am here for a couple weeks and honestly very happy with the price and size of my room but the customer service is the CHERRY!

|1.13km from city centerIt was a nice place. The room was clean and we liked that you had to have a card to enter the building. The room we had was a little studio with a stove and a sink and a big refrigerator. The only down side of it was you had to rent the stuff to cook and eat off of. Otherwise our stay was good, room was good and clean. The staff was nice and we had no problems. I would recommend this to my friends and family as well.

|6.7km from city centerI usually dislike Fairfields very much, but this was a very short stay and I just picked something at the lowest price that wasnt too far from airport. The employees were extraordinarily friendly. The hotel offered coffee 24 hrs a day. Coffee was actually pretty good! :-) Free parking, quiet area. The room was fine. You could hear some noise from adjacent rooms upstairs and on the side, but not too bad. Absolutely no complaints, 5 star stay!

|11.63km from city centerWe traveled and stayed at Gaylord Rockies since my husband had business meetings there. The hotel, like all Gaylords, is large with a central atrium. They are in an expansion phase, planning to add 1,000 additional rooms and more restaurants. We were upgraded to a suite but I can still speak to the comfort of the bed and the bathroom amenities. When traveling, I frequently have issues with the mattress being too firm. I am a side sleeper and if the mattress is hard, I get hip and shoulder pain by the third night. That did not happen. But I should have asked for a pillow with more loft since the provided pillows basically become flat. The shower had adequate pressure. For dining, there is a Marketplace that has grab and go breakfast and lunch sandwiches, pastries, bottled sodas, water, wine and beer and, of course, Starbucks coffee. All the restaurants – Sports bar, Monte Jade (Asian, limited sushi) and Vista Montagne (Italian) were all really good and for Gaylord, reasonably priced. We did not dine in Old Hickory Steakhouse, a Gaylord staple, since the price is exorbitant. A big draw for this hotel is the indoor and outdoor pools which are both heated and open year round. Even with the outdoor temp at 48 degrees there were people floating around the lazy river! Beware the weekends when locals book rooms for kids birthday parties. There is no shuttle available from the airport (at most a 15 minute ride) but the shuttle does take you to the nearby light rail station where you can get to downtown Denver or the airport. We paid $6 for a regional day pass so it was cheaper than Uber. This is the fourth Gaylord I have stayed in. The layout is more similar to Gaylord National near DC rather than Gaylord Palms (Orlando) or Gaylord Texas (Dallas area.) Like Texas and Orlando, you cannot walk to offsite restaurants which may be a consideration if you are not on a group trip nor have a car. Also, Gaylord Rockies is on the east side of Denver between the city and the airport. Driving to Rocky Mountain National Park takes roughly two (2) hours. You can get to Red Rocks Amphitheater, Dinosaur Ridge, Garden of the Gods, (see separate reviews), Boulder, Colorado Springs, etc in 1 to 1 ½ hours. Yes, it is a nice property but depending on why you are in the Denver area, may not be the right place for you.

|6.59km from city centerThis week, the restaurant staff, especially David Kookie and Jessica Voh, waited on the 100+ customers each day they had breakfast here. Besides the fact they served so many people at once, my husband and I were amazed at the effectiveness they demonstrated. They prepared the breakfast area with polished silverware, fresh coffee, replenished serving bowls with fresh fruit, sustained clean tables while keeping attentiveness with coffee refills and table checking for each of them with positive and respectful attitudes. They deserve much credit along with the rest on on staff this past week keeping pace with such volume of customers while staying cheerful.

|5.2km from city centerWe stayed at the Denver Airport Aloft. The room was spacious and clean. The service was great. My daughter realized that she forgot her watch at the hotel when we were about to board our plane. I called the hotel. They found. The watch, and put it on their safe. They asked that I send them a self addressed UPS envelope. I did, and they sent us back the watch. We were very relieved and thankful for their service.

|5.1km from city centerMy wife and I got married last year at Woolley's. So, for our first anniversary we returned to Woolley's for a night's stay. We enjoyed dinner in the restaurant Saturday evening and then had the buffet breakfast Sunday morning. The atrium in Woolley's provides a peaceful place to relax. The atrium pond in Woolley's has beautiful Koi fish. Jim and Rose, October 1, 2022.

|4.82km from city centerHorrendous shuttle service. Stayed one night (6/27/22). We will not stay here again. Unprofesssionnal and poorly trained shuttle driver. Our experience with the hotel's desk clerks at night and the next morning was pleasant, professional and efficent, so that's a plus! The room has comfortable beds, a large TV and modern decor (except for the carpet), but there was noticible wear and tear on the walls, a hot pink (nail polish?) stain on one of the bed sheets (which was put on the wrong way). The free breakfast was nothing speciale, but fine.

|4.44km from city centerI had reserved a 2-bed room nearly a year ago for a 1-week stay earlier this month. When my sister and I arrived at around 9pm, the counter clerk could not find my reservation. I presented my reservation print-out and, over 30 minutes later, learned that the general manager had cancelled my reservation 5 hours previously (while I was in the air, flying to DIA). I was told that at 3pm, the gm tried to run my credit card on file and it had been denied. I was further told that she had tried to contact me, but I have no evidence that she had ever called, emailed or texted. I was told that ”check-in time” was 3pm. To me, that has always meant that a room will be available at that time. Not at this place; here it means that your card will be charged at that time, whether or not you've checked in. My card had been compromises 4 months earlier and had to be replaced. I've never had a card charged prior to my checking in to any WoodSpring Suites location and I had a valid card with me. To make matters worse, it was now 10pm on a Friday night, we were tired and me and my sister had no place to stay. First things first, though. I needed a room for us for the remaining 6 nights and, after what seemed like forever, the kind but rather inept young man finally reserved a room for us...but I wouldn't be getting the weekly rate. We found a place for the night (at an exorbitant cost) and returned to WoodSpring the next day to pay for the room. After having told the young man repeatedly the night before that we needed a room with 2 beds, he had reserved us a room with only 1 bed. I was not a happy camper. The gm finally found me a suitable room but wouldn't give me the weekly rate for the 6 nights. I ended up reserving the room for 7 nights, which was significantly less expensive. A couple of days into our stay some kids pulled the fire alarm in the foyer, which resulted in an alarm that was so loud in our room, that we had to stay in the lobby until the fire department eventually came and disarmed the thing. No one had bothered to communicate anything to us; we were on our own, beginning to end. I travel a lot and have never seen such ineptitude, odd policies and lack of communication and customer support in my life. The room itself was comfortable and clean (except for the corners on the bathroom floor) and the property is conveniently located for my annual visit, but I will NEVER stay at this location again.
