Stayed here in September 2020- cheap hotel for work , beds was fairly comfy... tv in the room is absolutely tiny, my tablet is the same size .. physically couldn’t watch it! Shower was rubbish , took ages to warm up ! The bar and restaurant are currently not open which we didn’t know until we arrived, although in a decent location ... Staff are all friendly ... ok for if your working away and need just a bed.but wouldn’t stay again. The room was always hot also , and it’s quite noisy outside on the nights I found!

I was worried after reading reviews but shouldn't have been. Firstly, the location is spot on. Our room was a superior at the front of the building so overlooked the river. We had an email before arrival telling us that they have 2 buildings so we knew that being in their other hotel (literally round the corner) may be a possibility. The man who sorted us out was kind and helpful. Showed us all we needed to know and sorted out our £5 permit which we booked in advance. The room was big enough, towels and toiletries provided and also tea/coffee making facilities. Overall a great little stay and will happily use again.

The location of the hotel is very good, just beside the train station, within 5 minutes walk. The grandpa at the front desk is very friendly. The house is very clean, with electric heating, very warm. Hot water is also sufficient, free luggage storage, recommended to stay. Walking distance from the city center.

After having three holidays cancelled due to Covid decided to head south to avoid Boris bans up north. Chose Norwich after a short visit a while ago. Hotel was superbly situated with ample parking and a friendly welcome on arrival, all COVID restrictions in place but managed very well. We initially had booked two nights but extended to the third. The room was typical premier inn clean, spacious and a decent bathroom, there was no room cleaning available unless specially requested due to the pandemic. Breakfast at the hotel was excellent despite it having to be table service and the choice was all still available, we also ate twice in the restaurant and the food along with the service was excellent and good value. The city centre shopping is a ten minute walk away along with several decent bars, one mention for the pub across the road from the inn ( the complete angler) which was both lovely and friendly

Located right in the heart of the city - on a busy road and over and opposite nightclubs, it wasn't easy to sleep without ear plugs. With them it still didn't go well. It is a small hotel, with the result that the check in desk was often not staffed. This sounds negative; it worked out fine for me. The staff's attitude was excellent. But don't expect much for your money!

Walking distance from all Norwich attractions and Station. Several little thing let this hotel down, only 2 teabags in our room each day ,rooms clean and comfortable but no storage or hanging space in our Business Room for which you pay a slight premium. although the Quiet floor as it was weekend was at times noisy. Our room faced the inner courtyard and was quite dark. On the plus side the staff were efficient and very helpful and friendly, they were a credit to the company. The breakfast was good quality but a little lacking in choice, although there was plenty of it. There is no parking on site but a multi-storey car park is just across the street ,At a price.! Although we did not use it there is a bar and basic food on offer at a sensible price , but a walk into the City could offer something more exciting. I would certainly stay here again, but it could be better with a little more of an offering

Very good customer service offered by Table Table at the Nelson Road, Norwich Premier Inn restaurant by Manager Peter Ramsey on Sunday, 4th October. Due to a genuine miscommunication and oversight, we arrived to our pre-booked table within the required time and found there was no booking. The kitchen were closing and were unable to take our order. We were informed by a member of staff that we would be unable to order food. Peter handled the situation in a professional manner and resolved the problem. Peter was able to sort out the issue by speaking to the kitchen and proceeded to arrange for us to be served with food and drinks. We understand we’re in unprecedented times and we thank Peter for his display of clear leadership. Thanks once again Premier Inn for a wonderful stay.

Stayed one night with my husband and son. Arrived a bit early but had a very friendly welcome at reception and went straight to our room after our temperatures were checked! The hotel felt very 'Covid-safe' and as though a lot of effort has been made to look after staff and guests. Our room was clean and comfortable with a fantastic shower. We ate dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and both meals were excellent. The staff were attentive and very friendly and we had a really relaxing stay.

I stayed in the Namaste Palace Hotel on a trip visiting UEA. I was pleasantly surprised by the rooms. Having read the reviews on Booking.com after booking my stay I have to say I was rather worried and had prepared for sleeping in my car! Whilst this was a lovely hostel I would not go as far to call it a hotel. The shared bathrooms are spacious and clean, and the bedroom was as well. A lot of cupboard space if you are staying longer however I would not recommend as you may end up with back issues due to the bed being no more than a bit of foam cut to size! My request for a twin bed was not accommodated and we ended up with a VERY small double. As I was with a friend it ended up being alright as we didn’t sleep much anyway due to the noise in the corridor all night long! Whilst we did not get in to the hostel until very late, there were still people walking around at 4 in the morning and the walls are incredibly thin so we could hear EVERYTHING our neighbours were doing! The parking stated whilst booking is a pay and display on the other side of the road. It was relatively cheap (from 5pm to 9am cost £5) and it was very easy to use. Overall I had a pleasant experience, it was clean and did the job for one night.

Upon first arrival I did think the outside looked very dated and it’s location I did have second thoughts on going in but once inside my views did change as inside looked very nice and inviting and certainly different than from the outside. The lady who checked me in was very polite as was the bar man who after the first night knew Our drinks order before we even entered the bar area. When we entered the room first impression was very good however on further inspection the room had a lot of cob webs which would appear the room had not been cleaned since the lockdown which was a little concerning and the bathroom looked a little grubby. Even in the restaurant the lampshade was full of cobwebs which makes me think that no deep clean had been carried out prior to opening following the lockdown as we stayed the first week hotels were able to open and again very important where serving food. This hotel was very central for our needs however the beds were so uncomfortable and when staying for a few days could really feel all the bumps and springs and might be worth them investing into new mattresses. We did have two meals during our stay and would say the food was very nice and couldn’t fault that at all.

This was booked for me and recommended! The staff were friendly and helpful ,restaurant good was 8/10 good wine too ! I paid £164 for B&B no way was it worth this amount rooms and decor a little worst for wear for this price !! I travel a lot all over the world and at the moment with the corona virus I’m like most people a little bit more critical maybe!! One thing that freaked me out is that I had to get house keeping to clean the toilet and worst of all hairs in my bed , they sorted it immediately & of course with cleaning & new bedding & very apologetic, I just think at this price I was disappointed and with hygiene what we expect today it wasn’t a nice experience.

The Room was Clean, but no one cleaning the shower toilet throughout the day, even though the owner said she would, and at one point 5 people includng my partner and i was sharing that bathroom how is this acceptable during covid 19 being about, its a bit like a YMCA as said owner is usually out all night or out of the way, the code on the door well its like trying to enter the Crystal Maze!!! sometimes we had to spend 20 mins until we could actually get in, the owner knew about it, but obvioulsy didnt think it was an important feature for her guests to be able to get in, not sure why the landing and stairs had no carpet on it, its really lovely to stub your toe on the gripper board, no smoke Alarms in the room or the Landing surely this is breaking the law?, as for the bathroom i asked for anti bacterial spray so i could at least spray the surfaces etc before my partner and i used itl looking at the Brochures when this place opened it seems someone has lost interest, mouldy lemons in communal area. Not sure the KEEP OUT signs outside her private quarters are neccessary, just Private would suffice could be lovely if someone was bothered about the business,

This hotel is not in the prettiest part of Norwich, but it is very convenient for travellers. The surroundings are nicely landscaped and there is overflow parking at the Brewers Fayre next door, where breakfast is served as there is no catering at this Premier Inn. The Brewers Fayre breakfast is exactly like the Premier Inn one, but you do need to book because it can get super busy. I've stayed here a few times, and it has always been a pleasant experience. Travellers tip: the weird sound in the bedrooms is the air conditioning. It's easy to adjust, but shorties like me may take a while to realise the controls are situated quite high up on the wall.

We stayed here for 2 nights in February, travelled down on a Sunday evening and stayed until Tuesday morning. The room was upgraded for me by the Concierge, and we had a beautiful roll tap bath in the bedroom. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook for breakfast. The towel rail in the bathroom didn't work and we couldn't work out how to turn it on, but apart from that everything was perfect. We ate at the pub down the road and the food, and cocktails were great. I will definitely be returning next time I am in the area.

First of all I have to say the staff were lovely. Polite efficient and responsive. Sadly though, the place was a metaphor for this country. Tired, falling to bits and a bit tacky. Two nights we stayed. The room we were first given had a hole in the bathroom floor and the net curtains were brown in places. So we moved and the new one looked like someone has been skating on the dressing table. The paint was chipped and scuffed here and there. But hey, it was better. Inevitably however, the room key stopped working and the toilet bunged up. I thought the place was quite clean but my Wife smiled and said ‘its superficial’ pointing out the dust on the switch casing and the sticky threshold between the bedroom and bathroom. The breakfast was served quickly with a smile. But the sausages came from the sausage factory, the bacon from the bacon factory and the scrambled egg from the powdered egg factory. (And obviously fried, boiled or poached weren’t available because that would be too near to fresh - likewise the case I guess for the absent tomatoes, mushrooms. ...... or anything else that could be fresh) so nothing much to go wrong there - or right for that matter. And the whole system-built concrete thing sits at the bottom of an ASDA car park next to a derelict place that looks like a massive dirty, petrified igloo. Would I go back. Well yes. Because the bed was comfy, the sheets were clean, it was cheap and I do superficial (unlike my wife). And mostly, I know that when things go wrong, which they inevitably will, the nice staff will be there to cheerfully put things right. Nevertheless, my message to the top bid of Holiday Inn (uk) and it’s board of directors is: Not good enough guys. Knock it down. Don’t be superficial. Don’t be the Ryan Air of hotels.

The environment and room type of this hotel are OK, it is the best I have ever stayed in the UK. Breakfast can be. Most of them are British natives. But there is a service I don't know whether it is a hotel or a Ctrip agent. I took three big bags, and the room is like a nine-curve bridge. From the bottom, the elevator is small, and the room is in the last room. , caused a lot of trouble for me.

Having read the previous reviews I was VERY apprehensive. My assistant had booked the room and when I was travelling to the guesthouse I read that I needed an access code as the property wasn’t staffed. I followed the instructions and clear details were provided. On arrival I wasn’t overly impressed with the communal entrance being unsecured and the view of two topless men chilling in their room but it was warm. The property is accessed by a key code lock. No problem there but once inside you realise that this is the only lock between you and anyone else coming in (I don’t know who else has the code etc). To resolve this a bolt on the inside would have been appreciated and would have afforded peace of mind. Anyway I was on the first floor so minimum noise and the facilities were fine. I would have appreciated black out curtains and a tv in the bedroom but all small things that would help to increase the rating to four star. I doubt I would return until an internal lock is fitted but other than that all fine.

The Hilton brand is going downhill, and has lived in countless Hiltons from home and abroad. Every time you come to the United Kingdom, there is always a city that will arrange to stay in Hilton. Each time it ends in disappointment. 1, location, directly opposite the Scotsman Hotel, the spiral staircase next to the Scotsman Hotel can lead to the train station. If there is a large luggage, it is recommended to go out at Plantform Exit 1, there are lifts and escalators, and exit to the right Walk and turn right again for two hundred meters. A 10-minute walk from Royal mile, Edinburgh Castle, and Whisky Experience Center, these three are together! About 12 minutes walk from Calton Hill, which is different from the three attractions above 2. The housekeeping was just rubbish. On the first day of arrival, there was no mineral water in our two rooms, and the two rooms were not the same size. The one we lived in was very small. Shower gels and shampoos have obviously been used, but they have not been replaced! !! !! 3. The hotel design has serious problems. Please arrange a room for -3. We must first take the stairs to the second floor, then cross the other two third-level stairs, and then take the elevator down to -3. Rao's head is dizzy and the box Not easy to mention ~

The hotel rooms are very nice, the retro feel and the design is very good. It is recommended to come to Edinburgh, you can try it. The service is also very good, the front desk staff are very warm and there is a grandfather wearing a Scottish skirt. Very enthusiastic and also voluntarily said that you can take a photo and take the initiative to take the box. It was raining when we stayed, and we went to the front desk and borrowed an umbrella~ Book in Ctrip in advance, just say your last name. Quick search~ When I booked, I just started to watch more than 1,000. The second time I saw it was more than 600, and the price rose very scary. The restaurant is also very nice, but there is nothing to eat in order to catch the trip. So if you have time, try it, but put apples and lemonade at the door~

The hotel is located in the old quarter of Edinburgh, "bread street", close to the castle and Princes Street Gardens, and the location is superb. The hotel's own buffet breakfast is not comparable to the domestic breakfast, but it is already very rich in the UK, you can also find a waiter to customize the fried egg and other dishes. The room is really small, if you are with two big boxes, it is estimated that it is difficult to spread both on the ground at the same time. In addition, the bathroom is really small. It is difficult for a Chinese who is not a burly to bathe in the bathroom or the wall. However, hotels in the UK are small rooms. Overall, it is still satisfactory, of course, don't compare it with the domestic Hilton, otherwise you will feel that you have gone wrong.

A total of two rooms and four rooms were booked, and the overall performance in all aspects was very good. The layout of the rooms is reasonable, even the smallest classic room does not feel cramped. In particular, the bathroom has a separate dressing table and a large mirror, which is well received. The location is very good, Edinburgh's main attractions are within 15 minutes of walking (of course, Edinburgh attractions are already very concentrated). The public space is beautiful and elegant, and the service is warm and in place. The only minor problem was that when I checked out on the first trip, I was given a £103.5 bill, a £3.5 mini bar and a £100 reservation for the restaurant (we didn’t open the mini at all, nor booked it. Restaurant), after arguing for some reason, the front desk said that it might be wrong. Although the bill was cancelled, it was inevitable that it was unpleasant and destroyed the perfect experience of the whole stay.
