Hotels Near Coopers In Bilbao
0.23km from D.O- BilbaoThe hotel location is OK. There are more choices for dining nearby. Although it is not in the old town, it is near to the light rail. It is quite convenient to go by light rail. It is not far from the Guggenheim Museum. You can walk there. The facilities are of the same price level as those in Europe. It's moderate.
0.38km from D.O- BilbaoHotel location is very good, convenient to go anywhere, can be reached on foot, there are many places to eat around, as well as staff dedicated to provide travel advice, very warm, when we go, see two girls carrying luggage, also Help bring your luggage to the taxi
0.43km from D.O- BilbaoThe location is very good, I feel that this is a veteran five-star hotel with a strong Basque style design. The suite I stayed in, the room was large, the view was good, and there was a garage in the ground. Maybe the room is not new enough, but it is well maintained. Next to the park, walk to the Basque Museum for 5 minutes and Guggenheim for 10 minutes. I recommend.

0.49km from D.O- BilbaoStayed for 9 days with my wife. +++ good location regarding the airport, metro, buses, boats, city center, etc. The bus from airport arrives at bus terminal (4 min walking distance from the hotel). The bus ride airport ->hotel lasts 15-25 min and comes every 15 min and costs 3 EUR. From the same station you can take buses to a wide variety of destinations in Spain, France, Portugal; +++ walk to city center (old city) lasts 20 min - really close; +++ plenty of places to eat day and night near by the hotel; +++ 3 min walk to the Athletic Bilbao stadium (for football fans); +++ possible late check-out and luggage room (free of charge); --- old looking, untidy, smelly place; --- the view from the room is towards other apartments; --- constant smell of food and garbage in the room; --- no vault in the room so you have to keep your valuables at the reception, "guaranteed" by receptionist's "signature" :))

0.58km from D.O- BilbaoThe breakfast was really good. The hotel staff is very good, the lobby manager has something. He always communicates patiently and shares it with other people to know about it. It is worthy of praise and recommendation for everyone to stay here. Within 1 km range you can get to the train station and the coach station. Convenience.
0.6km from D.O- Bilbao👍 Beautiful, fine hotel, good service and good value for money. Convenient transportation, airport bus station and subway station are right next to it. Good location, very close to the Guggenheim Museum, shopping street, 5-10 minutes walk. Walk 15-20 minutes from the old town (via shopping streets, rivers, bridges, good scenery), or take the subway 2 stops. On the way to the G Museum, there are several restaurants and small supermarkets. The soundproofing of the room is poor. There is no place to eat breakfast nearby.

0.66km from D.O- BilbaoI keep on trying to find the perfect place to stay in Bilbao, and it was the turn if Bilbao Centric Apartments. I prefer to stay in hotels normally but these apartments ( 3 in total) have all the ammenities a hotel room has. The big plus is location, located in my favorite neighbourhood in Bilbao with just a few minutes walk to some great restaurants. Other positives: - apartment exactly as in pictures - clean and spacious - towels provided - 24 hour parking close by ( Plaza Euskadi) with a price of 13, 35 euros max. a day which is much cheaper then near the Casco Viejo. I am a very picky traveler, and although the apartment looks great, it could do with a bigger double bed, hotel style. The ensuite in the bedroom has a rainshower, from which almost no water comes out, and you have the handshower to rinse the shampoo out of your hair. The main problem, which Leire commented as well when we arrived, is that there is an ecological heating/cooling system which does npt work too well. The temperature in our apartment went up to 25 degrees at night, too warm for sleeping, while it was set at 18 degrees. We slept with the window open to get some cool air in, but the street is kind of busy ( at least for us since we are living in a place where the most noise at night are the crickets). Overall, a beautiful apartment, perfect to stay as a family.
0.66km from D.O- BilbaoThe room is not big, clean, it seems that there is a window that can’t be locked. Overall good.
0.66km from D.O- BilbaoThe environment is very good, the tram is downstairs, it is very convenient to travel.
Hotels Near Coopers In Bilbao Review
The hotel is in a good location, Bilbao is not very large and you can access most of the city on foot, or by tram.
It has been refurbished and has good services, but yes, EYE with the disco that is on the ground floor of the same hotel.
From room 709 that overlooks a courtyard, the music rumbled and until 4 in the morning we could not keep an eye, even being on the seventh floor.
I told the manager that I was at the Reception at 11:30 pm when I arrived at the hotel, I looked at myself like saying 'this girl is crazy' and the next day I tell the reception staff.
If there is a club at the bottom, then they should 1) soundproof the disco well so that it doesn't rumble in the rooms, or 2) change the windows for sound insulators.
It has annoyed me personally over the weekend, so I do not recommend it.
We debated long about wether Bilbao Apartamentos Atxuri merited 3 or 4. 3.5 is more accurate. For a two-bedroom apart Hotel for c. £100/night it is certainly good value. But there are several areas where it comes up short. The shower door, full ash-tray on the balcony on arrival, the evidence of treated damp on some walls, no plug in the sink, no kettle; all not great but not crucial. The plus points are the value for money, the spacious roof terrace, probably the only one in Bilbao, and oh yes, the value for money again. There is a moderately stocked kitchen with washing machine and an oven. There’s a TV in the living area. It’s clean, 10-minutes walk downhill to the old-town area, there’s a small gym and private/secure, tight underground parking. We arrived after 9pm which wasn’t a problem. It’s ok, but if you want the Ritz, pay more......
Cost-effective choice, located in the middle of the old city and the new city, easy to travel, 20 minutes by taxi from the airport to the hotel, the hotel has just been renovated, and the breakfast is rich.
The first reason we choose this hotel was its location, right by the river and next to the Guggenheim Museum. Its location is also very convenient for strolls along the River, to a nice walk to old town Bilbao, to the nice areas of the “newer” city. The hotel seats on a higher platform that creates a nice view of the river, the beautiful bridge right next to it and awesome views of the Museum. If your room does not provide you these views, the huge terrace on the ground floor will. This terrace is about 4 or 5 floors above the river promenade. Here you can have your breakfast Buffett (very good with many choices of savory and sweet dishes, omelets made to order, several fresh juices and great coffee), and have drinks during the day or evening, or just to seat and chill while enjoying the views. The facilities are modern and new, the decor is fresh, contemporary, and the bedrooms of a decent size, very well appointed, with very comfortable beds. Coffee, tea and hot water cooker available in all rooms, along with a mini bar (now empty due to COVID-19, which is good, as we usually empty it anyways in order to refrigerate our own things). Staff is very friendly and stay out of the way. The location right next to the Museum is likely why we chose it, but it turned out to be just one of the many things we loved about this hotel. We highly recommend it.
Both my wife and I really enjoyed our time in Bilbao and are glad we stayed in the “Old Town” area even though we walked a lot of both the old and new town areas. The Pension we stayed at had a very good location in the middle of Old Town. The room we got was average. Not overly large and was at the front of the hotel. We didn’t experience a problem with street noise but maybe we were just lucky. Again we experienced a common issue we had in Spain and got two twin beds even though we requested a room with a single double bed when we booked. This issue haunted us throughout this trip so was not just an issue here. The room was a little dated and could use a refresh. We had our breakfast daily at the Pension. The breakfast was adequate but was the very same every day. The location is really the selling point here as you are close to all the “Old Town” has to offer and can walk to all the other sights in Bilbao.
I spent 6 night in All Iron Hostel, it's very clean hostel with different size dormitories, shower and toilets are very clean with 3 separate bathrooms:ladies, gents and disabled, kitchen with all necessary items, you can use the fridge and all stuff for self cooking. Breakfast is included in the price and great Iñaki makes your stay unforgettable. The location is well located 10 min. walking from Santutxu metro station, and 20 min. ride on the bus 38 from the Termibus in San Mames and very beautiful view to mountains around Bilbao and the Basilica of Begoña is in 1 min. walking down from the hostel.
The room is not big, clean, it seems that there is a window that can’t be locked. Overall good.
Stayed for two nights, good
We really loved our stay here - the rooms were in one of the old town houses in the atmospheric Casco Viejo so you felt like you were staying in a home from home instead of a clinical hotel. The room we stayed in was very compact with just enough hanging space but the bathroom was more spacious. The rooms were decorated in a modern style but also trying to keep some of the architectural features (such as the squeaky wooden floor boards!) but the thing that really made this hotel a 'must stay' is the staff. Lidia and her colleague were very knowledgeable and helpful and helped us get the most out of our stay here. I definitely recommend it. Casco Viejo is definitely the best place to stay in Bilbao as you have all of the fantastic Pintxo bars closeby and also the metro station and bus and tram stops that will enable you to get around the city very easily. The best way to get to the Old Town from the airport is to get the airport bus all the way to the interchange and from here you can transfer to the metro station without leaving the building and it takes you directly to Casco Viejo. Thank you for a great stay!
The location is very good, the facilities are complete and comfortable, the breakfast is fresh, not far from Guggenheim and the new square. If you travel by car, the hotel is in the suburbs, and you don't have to go through the city.
The location is a little bit outside of Bilbao. So if you rely on public transportation, you can either take the hourly hotel shuttle bus, or you could walk to the city center (30 minutes), or you could walk to the metro station (10-15 minutes) and ride into the city center. So, if you prefer to stay right in the center, close to all the attractions, this might not be the best hotel for you.
Besides this, the hotel is very decent. It is clean, staff is very friendly and helpful, even at 2am in the morning, and you can have a pleasent stay here.
The rooms are clean, spacious, the hotel provides two bottles of free water in the minibar. The rooms can be a little bit noisy, sometimes you can hear people from the nearby rooms clearly, or people taking showers or walking by.
There is a snack machine on 1st floor (lobby floor is 0), and a water vending machine on -4.
There is breakfast for an additional 17€ or 15€ if you book it one day in advance. I ate outside, so I cannot rate the food there.
There is a Pizza Hut when you walk towards the metro station.
Not many other useful shops around, as the hotel is located in a residential area.
Maybe in the future all city hotels will be small with just a few rooms. This means that the taxi driver won't know where it is.Their satnav will take them close, but not to the door because it's in a pedestrianized street. It's still hard to find because there's no signage on the door, but friendly locals, used to tourists looking lost, will guide you in the right direction. You enter the code you were given into the large keypad and push the door (hard) to enter. Take the lift to the first floor, enter the code again, and once more to enter your room. This does away with the need for a reception, and you may well never meet anyone from the hotel. If you're not used to the future you might by now be wondering what you've let yourself in for, but you'll be reassured when you see that your room is clean, modern and well appointed. In your room is a voucher for one of two local cafes for breakfast. You choose according to what time you want it. If it's 10 - 12, it will be the Victor Montes, a minute's walk away in Plaza Nueva. There are three choices: a cooked choice with either fried or scrambled eggs, toast and orange juice; pintxos; or a healthy option of muesli with yoghurt and toast. The quality is good. The hotel is well located, near the old quarter, but this does mean you may hear some street noise. When I think of a "luxury" hotel, Lo Bilbao isn't the sort of place I have in mind, but it's a perfectly good place to stay and enjoy the city, and may well be the future
Excellent staff - so very helpful and nice; couldn’t do enough to help you and answer questions / offer support etc. I’ve travelled the world and would say they’re potentially the most helpful I’ve encountered. Great location - perfect for exploring Bilbao, whether walking or using their great public transport (positioned between two tram stops). Lovely room - very comfortable bed and pillows; good size wardrobe, drawers, safe, fridge, complimentary water, kettle and hot drinks and really nice shower. Upgraded on arrival which was a fabulous surprise. Perfect for one person, possibly a bit tight for two. Breakfast not included for the price. Used the restaurant for breakfast once and it was really nice and the staff excellent. Bathroom had sloping ceiling and you had to be careful not to bang your head / knock yourself out. I’m short so it’d be difficult for taller people. Couldn’t recommend enough; would definitely return!
The environment is very good, the tram is downstairs, it is very convenient to travel.
The location is very good, I feel that this is a veteran five-star hotel with a strong Basque style design. The suite I stayed in, the room was large, the view was good, and there was a garage in the ground. Maybe the room is not new enough, but it is well maintained. We really enjoyed our stay at Bilbao Metropolitan Hostel! We were with a group of 30 people and stayed here for one week. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. The facilities in the common room are good, you can use the computers and print for a small price (e.g. for printing boarding passes). The kitchen is equipped with enough plates and cups to make breakfast and there is plenty of fridge space. No stove, but this was not an issue for us and we knew about it in advance. The hostel’s location is excellent, easy to reach with public transport and a short walk from the city centre and the old town. The rooms and bathroom look new and clean, it’s very practical to have plugs by the side of each bed to charge your phone. Furthermore, opening doors with codes instead of keys or key cards is very practical, especially considering the amount of people that are in one room. Overall, we would definitely recommend Bilbao Metropolitan Hostel.
The hotel is located on the old street of Bilbao, 5 minutes walk from the museum. There is an automatic parking garage on the underground of the museum. It is very convenient. The hotel staff is very welcoming. After the check-in, I will take you to the hotel room and have many gourmet restaurants nearby. It is very convenient to walk within 10 minutes.
The order did not include breakfast, the environment is not bad, European hotels are certainly not big domestic, but the overall is very clean.
We used the day before going to Bilbao Airport. Convenient to the airport.
The rooms were lovely, lots of space lovely design and every thing you could need. Nice comfortable beds, hangers, full length mirror, a safe, blankets and a TV. There was WIFI and enough sockets. The en suite also included everything you could need. Everything was clean and well presented. They offered a small communal kitchen containing a small fridge, microwave and facilities to make tea and coffee. You could also come and go freely at any time no curfews. The staff were nice and friendly and offered us a map and information on arrival. However there were a few downsides. When booking we opted for 2 twin rooms on arrive we were presented with 1 twin room and 1 double room. Secondly the check in its self took ages four off us standing in a small hall way with all of our bags while the woman checked all of our pass ports and took down lots of information. The floor is very uneven with dips and bumps under the hallway carpets and either ramps or mini steps everywhere. It's very easy to trip which every one in our party of four did at one point or another. Even trips to the bath room (en suite) in the middle of the night you had to navigate a ramp. Also the property its self had a lot of stairs. Upon entry there is a long steep dark stair case that is hard work with suit cases. No privacy what so ever. There were no curtains so you wake up with the sun every morning, which is actually quite nice but also would be nice to have the option and would stop people on the opposite balconies being able to see in. Lucky I was sharing with my friend and we weren't hoping to engage in any nocturnal activities but it would have defiantly halted us if we were. This was also the double room, so I am presuming mostly couples would book this as an option. Also the other members of our party who's room was the other end of the hall, literally the farthest room away and they said they could hear us talking. I'm guessing the only reason we could not hear them is because they were having to compete with the noise out side for our attention. Our room was front facing and the street is littered with pubs, a great location but does make it rather loud and they are open late into the night 4am seemed to be when things began to settle down out side our window. It was a lovely stay and the location was great, perfect for what we were looking for. We didn't need to use public transport once in walking distance of every thing. I would stay there again if going back to Bilbao as great value for money, but only for a night or two nothing longer and defiantly not for a romantic getaway.
I have stayed in Petit Palace hotels in other Spanish cities and always enjoy them. This one was no exception. They each have their own style, a mix of old and new. This one was great for walking around the Old Town, had lovely views, a delicious breakfast, and very helpful, multilingual staff (I've seen some of the other reviews, we certainly didn't encounter any rude staff) . Our room was very comfortable and clean. They offer little side extras like bicycles and MiFi to take out for the day.
The hotel room was a bit old but kept very clean. The parking lot entrance is super hard to find, it is best to mark it on the map earlier.
We left it a little late to book a room in Bilbao for one night at the end of our holiday, so this was the best we could find at fairly late notice in our price range for one night on a weekend. I hope the weekday rates are cheaper, but it's definitely overpriced for what you get! It's a pretty decent central location and the staff all seemed nice enough. However, the hotel has seen better days and seems a bit run down. There's a strong musty kind of smell throughout (particularly noticeable in our room). When I walked into the room and put the card into the electricity thingy, it partially fell off the wall (!) - though it did go back on again and still worked. The bed was very soft and not especially comfortable, but the worst thing was how thin the walls are. I mean, noise generally carries in hotels, but this was ridiculous - the walls may as well have been curtains for all the good they did! You can hear EVERYTHING. I definitely did not get a good night's sleep, and nor did my other half who can usually sleep through allsorts. Water pressure in the shower was good, but other than the staff and the location, that's probably the only good thing I have to say. Would I stay here again? Not if I can help it.
A delightful bolt-hole right in the Casco Viejo old town. Bright and clean with a rather wacky Alice-in-Wonderland theme - our room was called "Alicia en un mar de lagrimas"! What made a big difference was the little kitchen stocked with tea, coffee, juice, cereal, bread, pastries, fruit and more - no calling room service or finding a bar for that first cup of tea in the morning. It's a meeting place; we talked to most of the other guests over breakfast. Thanks to Vanessa, Natalia and Claudia for their smiles, chats and care :-)
Hotel location is very good, convenient to go anywhere, can be reached on foot, there are many places to eat around, as well as staff dedicated to provide travel advice, very warm, when we go, see two girls carrying luggage, also Help bring your luggage to the taxi
truly enjoyed this stay, good service staff, good breakfast ,very comfortable bed and toilet
The hotel is in the city center, nearest to the train station, and there are many dining halls nearby. It is convenient and the front desk service is very attentive. When I booked the car rented at the train station online to pick up the car, I found that the car rental shop was now There is no service for decoration, only a piece of paper is posted to tell you to take a taxi for 15 minutes to go to the city center branch to pick up the car. It immediately caught fire. Due to the inconvenience of a lot of luggage, I went back to the hotel for help. The guy at the front desk called me very well The car rental company talked for a long time and asked the car rental company to drive to the hotel to pick us up and pick up the car. This front desk clerk is really much, really a five-star service!
👍 Beautiful, fine hotel, good service and good value for money.
