I've reviewed this property previously; after yet another stay, I simply had to review it and its team again. From the impeccably clean property dotted with cactus and palms, to the two small but glistening pools, to the cool eclectic interiors including the bar, sitting areas and poolside restaurant, the staff at TRIADA makes it a point to keep their 1940's Hollywood Style property spotless. If you're into the 40's, 50's and 60's vibe, you'll also Love the Rat Pack era music playing softly in the background in the common areas: especially the pools. But the best part about TRIADA has always been the staff. From Jessica; the friendly and super helpful manager to the front desk, valet and restaurant staff (especially Ricardo). Everyone is just friendly and seemingly Happy to be there. The vibe has been consistent this time and all of my previous stays. What a great property; on par with the best in town. PS. The Triada is Marriott owned, so you'll get your points and potentially an upgrade, but this place doesn't seem to have a bad room anywhere on the property. HIGHLY Recommended!

This was my second stay in this motel-style place (it’s 2 story - so prepare for stairs - and outside doors all face a courtyard). Super clean, friendly staff, and excellent balconies, pool, and hot tubs. The only downside is that the hotel is on a busy road, but there is a narrow sidewalk to the nearest intersection and the walk into the heart of Palm Springs is pleasant (e.g., it’s an easy 10-minute stroll to the Thursday night market, famous artwork, etc.). Our family has had two great stays here and will continue to make it our go-to for Palm Springs!

The location was fine and the room was clean. However my room was run down with stains on furniture, cabinets that didn’t close, fixtures in the bathroom that were not in place, the lighting in the living area was harsh, the pool area was dirty, and there was construction going on around the common areas and my room which I was not made aware of prior to my stay. None of these items by themselves was very discouraging, but taken together I found it well below the standards I expect from a Hyatt. The service staff was very responsive and quick to resolve issues. I will not stay at this Hyatt again unless or until it is upgraded or the cost for a room is brought more in line with the level of comfort one should expect from a Hyatt.

What a beautiful, quaint and charming little hotel! I’ve always wanted to stay here in the past but I was so happy that a room was available on this visit. What wonderful customer service the entire visit. We stayed two nights and were so relaxed! Such a quiet place and walking distance to so many awesome restaurants not to mention the ****** is right across the street. The pool and jacuzzi was open 24 hours a day which was amazing for a late night swim under the palms and full moon. Highly recommend this boutique! Can’t say enough great things about it.

The hotel is very new, the room facilities are very good, the service is also very good, just as a stop for the transit break, the next morning, when we arrived in the middle of the night, we left for the desert Ole to go shopping, almost no facilities, it is said that the top floor has Bar and pool but there is no time to experience. How long does it take to drive to Ole? However, if there is a car, it will be left for one night, so the problem is not big.

We stayed for a couple of nights and thought it was perfect for our needs. It's a charming property close to town. Everybody was so gracious and friendly there. I loved the touch of the pantry with the filtered water, La Croix and snacks. And their croissants were excellent on Friday (though a bit stale on Saturday -- not sure if it's because the bakery didn't make weekend deliveries and we were served Friday's croissants). I also loved their Mailin and Goetz toiletries. They were very thoughtful about the touches they made on the property. For the reviewer ”IDC” I don't think they are being realistic about the prices of Palm Springs. It's an expensive city to stay in depending on the season. I paid in the low 300s a night as well. There was a 3-star hotel charging in the 500s. The Parker was charging $1600 a night. It's not the Four Seasons. But it's a very clean, well-run lovely accommodation near the heart of Palm Springs.

I am taking the time to write this review because we were hesitant about our stay given the negative ones below. We had THE BEST time at the Ace. The mid-week vibes were great, super low key guests. Great pool time. What stood out was the food. We ate breakfast and lunch every day and loved everything we had. I can't recommend the Ace enough and I can't wait to come back next winter.

We received this hotel as a replacement for the Palm Mountain Resort where works were underway in the rooms we would stay. They sold this as 'sister hotel', we were allowed to stay here for a night without extra cost. The hotel is a little nearby, when we checked in Thursday afternoon, it gave us a feeling of Las Vegas: in the lobby there was a bar with keihard music, and there was a pool and bar party on the way with scarcely dressed dames and gentlemen who were clearly continuing the night club party next to the hotel. The swimming pool is a concrete hot island in the indoor patio and has nothing The staff were friendly and helpful; valet parking is required and those valets were fast and efficient, and the lobby called me to the air tramway to check if there were still cards. The room was large and comfortable, with good Queensize beds. In addition, I would not recommend this hotel for tourists like us (families on road trip) , rather for those who want to sit in the outdoor neighborhood of palm springs in action.

I was so-so. They had a good vibe for the Chic part, but the rooms were thin walls, shabby, old and not very private. I would recommend booking a cottage or villa rather than just a room. Beyond the room experience, the restaurant was awesome, the drinks were very good, the people scene, although pretty crowded was hip, young and fun. A few too many ”dogs” for me, but if you have one, you can apparently bring it along and let it hang out in the lounge chair next to you. It was a fun experience.

Palm Springs hotels are lower in price. Palm Springs hotels are basically in the form of hotels because they are closer to Los Angeles and the housing prices are generally very high. Especially on weekends, they are basically 1000+. This hotel can park for free. As our transit station to Redeem Mountain and Ole is good, we just sleep a bit, the rooms are average and the health is average. If you rest overnight instead of coming to vacation, this hotel is OK of

First off, I must mention that pictures of this place on many booking engines, etc are out of date as it seems all rooms have been renovated. Our One Bedroom unit was immaculate, definitely renovated in the recent past and everything was neat and clean; matching the unit pictures on their own website. We had a nice patio with table/chairs, lounge chairs, grill, and a gorgeous view of the mountains. The resort grounds are also beautiful and well maintained. The property itself is nice, quiet, and laid back. We barely saw a few others during our stay and had the pools and hot tubs to ourselves any time we ventured over to them. The location was perfect for us with plenty within close range and right off of Palm Canyon drive for easy access anywhere. The office staff were all very friendly and they were extremely helpful during check-in. Overall we'd highly recommend this place and would definitely choose to stay here again in the future if we return to Palm Springs.

Very recommended. Because there is a kitchen, you can cook by yourself. After eating American food for a period of time, I cook a porridge in the morning and play with a few dishes and I feel very happy. This place can meet this requirement. The whole house is relatively large, with two rooms, a bit big for the three of us, suitable for two families to live together. We live on the first floor. If the second floor is on the second floor, it will be more convenient to dry. The desert is drier, and the clothes are dried as soon as they are washed.

I think I might be a little generous with a four star rating. However this is the first time travelling to Palm Springs so I have nothing else to judge it by. We set up our reservations via AirBnB. When we arrived we were told we needed to pay a $40 daily ”resort fee” that clearly was not reflected in the listing. The man at the reception desk advised he would need to check with his central booking. Long story short it took more than two hours for him to do so. we actually went and had lunch and he still did not have an answer for us. Meanwhile we still dd not have a room. When we finally did get get word that they would waive the fee, we still waited another hour to get our secret room code. It was just after the 4:00 check in time. Our room was a two bedroom corner suite with a full kitchen. Property appears to be either new or newly refurbished. Not sure if the stove or pots and pans were ever used before us. Yes, they give you ONE cup of free coffee to be used in the pour over coffee system. Otherwise the cost is $15 for a ten (?) ounce bag. Fridge was stocked with beer, wine soda, etc all for a fee. We pushed all the stuff to one side of the fridge and went to the grocery store (a block away) and filled it with our own (grocery store also carries beer & wine). Room was very comfortable. Great beds, nice shower/bathroom Wrap around balcony had a rope swing/seat along with chairs and a table. Unfortunately ours overlooked two vacant lots. No storage for clothes other than a basket full of hangers and a couple steel bars to hag stuff on. Other than a couple scatter rugs the floors are cold concrete. Definitely hear people walking above you so would suggest top floor if possible. Pool was nice but was not available for an early morning swim. Also had to pay for the use of cabanas. Never did see anybody using one. Did not eat in the restaurant but did utilize the bar. Personally not a fan of tequila or mescal but they evidently specialized in it. We did not pay to park nor did we see any parking attendants for valet service. In fact the 'front desk' (outside kiosk) was rarely attended. Definity a great location as far as being close walking distance to shops and restaurants. They do offer complimentary use of bicycles, that we did not use.

Totally taken advantage of. Due to severe wind, all flights were cancelled so had to book a room for the night. Because it’s Valentine’s Day weekend I knew it would be more money and limited availability in the city but this dump was over $300! Robbery! Dirty. Hair on the pillow, hair in the sink and on the floor. I have a shaved head so definitely wasn’t mine. With Covid going on I was so uncomfortable I slept will all my clothes on including my hoodie. They sprayed a ton of deodorizer in the room but that ain’t foolin anyone. This is a $50 hotel so shame on them for what they do. I’ll pay $300 for a nice hotel and immaculate room but this was gross.

We rolled into Palm Springs after two long days of driving from Portland, Oregon. Our check in clerk was SO friendly and hospitable. We were given a little tour of the property- love the area where there is free coffee, juice, and ice/filtered water. Bicycles you can borrow, books to borrow, etc. We were shown the pool and BBQ area, and then shown our room. I LOVED the pink touches in the room, and it was very spacious! Included a little kitchenette area with fridge and countertop, big bathroom. Bed was comfy. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Right on the main drag of P.S., I would say you still need to drive to go shop or dine, but very easily accessible.

I cannot recommend this place. After leaving the room for a short amount of time, we returned to find everything stolen. This hotel is four story and 129 rooms with with NO SECURITY CAMERAS except in the lobby. This hotel can be accessed from the outside without going in the lobby. Upon checking in, the front desk was already talking to the police about someone roaming around the premises. That should have been the red flag. Someone walked out the hotel with 5 backpacks and 4 suitcases with ZERO video footage. This includes the parking lot. If something bad happens here (hopefully not) such as a car being stolen, a person robbed, or any type of an assault, nothing is on camera. Stay at your own risk.

This hotel is near the downtown area but a bit away so you feel like you are at a beautiful resort. We arrived before 11am and they offer us the option of being upgraded to a Jr Suite now or wait for a room on a higher floor. Since I was traveling with my grandson, we took the suite. The lobby restaurant has board games which were perfect. The restaurant did not open until 11am so we sat down and played one of the games. Mat came over and explained that we could order at 11am (it was 10:30). He brought us water and checked on us saying it would not be much longer. The service was excellent throughout the hotel. The hotel is only on the side of the road. The road is not busy, so it is not noisy. It is very easy to find with Google Maps. It is actually the most common two-storey motel in the United States. The environment is not bad. It is surrounded by palm trees and has free on-site parking. There is a swimming pool, warm front desk service, complete room facilities, TV, refrigerator, microwave, gourmet coffee machine, no kettle (like a microwave oven), air conditioner refrigerator is very noisy, American hotel hotels do not provide disposable toothbrush slippers. The breakfast room is very small, three tables, 7-9 o'clock, weekend to 10 o'clock, not many varieties (eggs, sliced bread, homemade waffles, cereal milk, coffee, soda, apple), but there is absolutely no problem to eat. The room has a balcony with a coffee table chair, and the big bed parents have a child to live without stress. As a self-driving tour stop, it is still very good, value for money!

My wife and I came here for one night. Good location, clean facilities, nice bed, you're in Palm Springs so it should be all cocktails and smooth sailing. But there were too many negatives for me to recommend staying here. We ran into a number of issues, particularly with trying to work from the hotel and honestly from the staff too. Let me elaborate. We both needed to get quite a bit of work done during our stay, so we asked about the 24-hour stay perk in order to meet some deadlines before checking out (my wife is a Platinum Elite member and the 24-hour time shift is supposedly one of the offerings). They said we couldn't do that because the hotel was fully booked. Understandable and unfortunately unavoidable, especially if someone else was checking into our room. That's all fair. BUT. And here's the big BUT -- they also didn't try to help us at all (and worse, see below). No offering to move us to an open room for a bit, or let us setup in any empty conference room, or anything whatsoever. Just tough cookies. And we were very clear about just needing somewhere to work for a few hours. This leaves much to be desired, but isn't cause enough to down vote this hotel. Alas, my dear TripAdvisor friends, there's more. I asked about some kind of business center or other location to sit with a laptop, but they responded as if no one had ever dare ask something so outrageous. Ok. Weird. But again not a deal-breaker. THEN -- when our checkout time arrived and we were finishing packing our bags -- housekeeping came into the room, without masks on, while we were still in it and started cleaning up! I should have asked them if they would be packing my bags, as well. And we were not more than 5 minutes over the checkout time. That is a deal-breaker for me. I don't expect a hotel to bend over backwards to accommodate me. But at least let me step one foot outside the room before you begin vacuuming over my shoe. Geez. At the Courtyard, you do have to go and you do have to get the hell out of here.

The entire hotel staff made me feel very welcomed to the property. I felt very much at home. Alec always goes out of his way to ensure I'm happy. The entire property has a terrific vibe, and it's definately a diverse crowd. All are welcome!

The uncle at the front desk was super enthusiastic, introduced us to local restaurants, and talked about the Texas he had been to. . . Uncle said that the hotel is not in downtown Palm Springs, it is relatively dark outside, it is best to drive out at night, but it is safe here, don't worry. Room facilities are average, but clean is fine. Breakfast was pretty good, milk and orange juice were plentiful, and many guests took it to the room to eat. The highlight of the hotel is the swimming pool, which opens from 8 am to 9 pm. There are two large pools and two small spa pools, which are very suitable for taking pictures.

Place is ok. The tv in the sitting room didn’t work which was disappointing. The biggest issue was the cockroaches. There were two in the kitchen and one coming out the drain in the bathroom. Disgusting. We were on the third floor so I’m assuming it’s an issue with the entire hotel. I told the front desk person on checkout who said he would tell the manager: “translation…nothing will happen.”

First, let me lay ground to be taken as credible. When saying an employee was kind to customers, the first thing to realize is first and foremost an employee must work in the interest of their employer, whether the DMV, a bank, or a unified school district. Being kind at the expense of the person providing a paycheck is not acceptable. The goal, rarely achieved, is being simultaneously professional and kind while working, in this case, in the best interests of the Cole Hotel. You will find a similarity in other reviews of good customer service. I was afraid I would be disappointed as the the ”bar” had been raised too high. Not so. GOOD service from EVERYONE, and a good overall experience. A coupe of remarks, keeping in mind I rate the hotel a 5: The hotel is significantly above downtown, away from the downtown PS vibe. On the other hand, once in your car, you are three minutes away from the experience, so don't let that stop you. (Its getting increasingly harder to find a parking space in downtown, yes.) The hotel markets on their website two separate, unrelated, on-site dining experiences/companies for hotel guests. During lunchtime we ordered a hamburger poolside but was informed we could not order until 3pm, and indeed they held us to that. However, the hotel's website states: ”Exclusively Open to Hotel Guests from 10AM – 11PM” (Implying, if a hotel guest, you may order before 3pm.)

Vagabond Motor Hotel - Palm Springs

Recently, I stayed at the Vagabond Inn for a total of nine nights as a solo traveler. I really liked it. I was there at what seemed to be a very slow time both for the hotel and Palm Springs generally, so this certainly helped in the hotel being very quiet. It was easy to use the pool and jacuzzi, as other guests there were scarce. The hotel is on the south end of town and super-conveniently located to most things you’d want to do in Palm Springs; it’s also near the Deepwell neighborhood which is full of houses designed by notable architects – a pleasant jog or bikeride area. The first room (322) that I had at the Vagabond was attractively designed in a mid-century mod fashion. The second room (307) was similar, but its bathroom had not been renovated. This room had really the only flaw I encountered in the two rooms, which was a very weak shower. Bed mattresses were a bit too soft for me, but pretty normal for hotel beds. Like some hotels currently, this one was not doing any housekeeping because of Covid. This is a fairly ridiculous excuse, but I did not find it to be a major problem. Likewise, the snack shop by the pool is closed, but given the low number of guests, this is understandable. The pool and jacuzzi are very nice – lots of seating, and a very large jacuzzi. Supposedly, these close at 8 p.m. but fortunately, this did not seem to be enforced. In keeping with another review on here, I note that some kids were using the pool who were not hotel guests – I believe they were friends of the manager. They generally give hostile looks to the guests and sometimes play loud music. During my stay, it was little enough not to be a problem, but the hotel should rethink their policies on this. Overall, very good hotel for reasonable rates.
