We spent one night at the hotel. We had an excellent experience, especially when it comes to food options. We informed the staff we were vegan ahead of time. There were some options from us in the "room service menu"; however, the next day we had breakfast at the main restaurant, and the chef cooked everything based on the options we gave him. The staff members were constantly checking on us, making sure they would give us anything containing animal products. We had a great experience. The hotel is beautiful! I love the swimming pool and the beach area. The rooms are comfortable and large. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel environment is very good, the service is good, the pool gym can be, the National Museum is very close, 5 minutes walk. 1.5 km to the Old Bazaar and a 40-minute walk from the Museum of Islamic Art. There are three Chinese restaurants around, all others are Indian, located in the middle of a rental housing area. The surrounding environment is not very good, it takes 40 minutes to walk to the beach. Located in the old town, the shopping mall is relatively far. The room environment is good, but the standard room has poor lighting

Hello fellow travelers and Visitors, I am writing to share my very first time to stay at a two star hotel in my life. Frankly, It has changed my mind and open my mind that really it doesn’t matter the rate of the hotel, however, the staff were incredibly friendly, taking every initiative to make someone’s day, they are always happy, generous, always smiling and caring. The manager was from the UK and she made every thing seems like you are staying at home with your family, mates and friends. Furthermore, the room I stayed in was 302, specious and cozy. it has a comfortable twin beds, a nice wardrobe, an ironing board, extension wires, TV, a microwave, of course great toilet. Nothing to complain, it doesn’t feel you are at a typical hotel nor a hostel and It is a place where you call it home away from home. There are affordable dry cleaners, you are able to walk to Souk Waqif just around 20 minutes. There is a mosque beside the hotel. Overall, my experience has been a five star experience at a two star hotel. The staff are your best friends and locations is safe, I highly recommend it if you are on a budget and seek to have a great experience. Have a great time in Doha, Qatar.

By far the worst hotel we've stayed in Doha. Do not stay here!!! Great facilities with no soul. The reception made us feel it's our problem the room was not ready when we checked in and waited for approx 10-15min. Got in the premise at approx 1AM. The room was not as per our booked room. When i called to confirm, he told us we have to change room again at 10-11AM. They let our booked room occupied before we  checked in. We booked from 19th and arrived 20th early in the morning . The hygiene of the room was unimaginable. We have to wait in the lobby again for them to change the mattress and pilow covers. Urine and faeces stains in the toilet bowl. Hair all over the bathtub, floor carpet, pillows bed, counter top. There's only one teaspoon and it's used. Linen were not changed. The towels were the only ones changed. The carpet was full of stain and not vacuumed. The reception was the worst. Kept saying the place was full, he's alone and there's nothing he can do about it. When we waited in the lobby, we observed he would shake hands with civilians who just came and hand over a key card. The other person then said "don't forget to bring drinks in our room". We wanted out and reimbursed yet the reception said its non-refundable. We couldn't take it anymore and tried to leave. Suddenly there was a room vacant and given us an upgrade. (The upgrade was our original booked room as seen online and we paid for it). The A/C was directed to the bed which was uncomfortable. The landline cant be used for out side local calls. I wanted to surprise my husband for his birthday. Yet They dont have candles and the cake was too dry. At 1:15 AM, someone came knocking, woke us up and asked for a signature for the bill. The lobby was noisy and smelled cigarettes at night where there seemed to have lots of vices. In 7 days we stayed, the linens were never changed despite the fact that we kept telling them to have the room cleaned before we left the  area. The only person who made a difference was the bellboy Zakir in the night shift and the housekeepers, gym and pool attendant who constantly interacted with guests. They should be in-charged. Not a single manager/supervisor appeared.

It is the Yilin Hotel, so there is no Hilton, it is almost a little better than the domestic four-star hotel, forgetting to take pictures, but the gap between the photos provided by the reservation is a bit big, there is a bar on the top floor, there is a small swimming pool, the environment is not Very good, I went in the morning, the water is quite cool, maybe it’s lively at night. But the location is very good. In the middle of the old market, the National Museum, and the Islamic Museum, go to these three attractions, walk around, there are two small Chinese restaurants nearby, one is called Northeast Home, one is called Dragon Restaurant, went to the Northeast Home, the price is more expensive, the environment is not so good, the level of cooking and home cooking is almost the same, but in Doha, the Chinese restaurant level is less, it will be good to eat a meal. There is a gas station nearby, a small supermarket, and some necessities and breakfast.

The hotel is located between the National Museum and the Islamic Museum. It is also within walking distance to the Old City Market. The disadvantage is that there are no supermarkets in the surrounding area and the convenience of living is not enough. The staff of the hotel are warm in service, the rooms are well-equipped, the environment is comfortable, the breakfast is rich, and it is worth staying! Ps: Take a 5QR bus from the airport to the hotel, and take a taxi for about 20QR. Hotel transfers are much more expensive and are not recommended.

Stayed in Doha with many hotels with similar prices. Four Seasons and Mandarin Oriental are the most at home. Refurbished before Four Seasons. All the facilities in the house are very good. The service is also great. If you return to Doha in the future, Four Seasons must be the first choice.

Marsa Malaz is a very beautiful hotel, not just for the luxurious interior and exterior but also because of the wonderful staff that warmly welcomes you during your stay. The rooms are quite spacious and the bed is very comfortable. The breakfast is very tasteful - amazing pancakes and enjoyable variety of toppings too! During our stay, we held our wedding shoot at the hotel - indoor or outdoor - all sides and corners will make your wedding film extraordinary. And theyir marketing team are very accommodating too. Secret Garden is a must to try. they offer good drinks, great food and the most beautiful rooftop lounge in Doha. Shoutout to Patrick and Fuji for making our wedding after-party (of 6 people) fun. they make the best cocktails in town so you better check the Secret Garden before they close off by summer. I will definitely be back with my husband and take advantage of the few cool evenings we have left before Ramadan. Thank you Marsa Malaz for making our wedding day very memorable!

When I first booked, I thought the price was wrong, very cheap and good quality. It should be a four-star bar. The rooms are large and the bathrooms are large and quiet. The buffet selection in the morning is quite a bit. The PLUTO restaurant on the first floor was so expensive. I ordered a snack, with a fried egg on top, two thin slices of beef in the middle, and a slice of toast below, which cost USD15. In addition, the wind and sand in Doha is very strong, and you can see that thick ash has accumulated on the window glass.

The worst experience in my life, the room and balcony are very dirty, when I shower, the bathroom water comes out on the carpet. The outdoor space closes at 8 pm, and when it was 01:00 am, we woke up on the sound of the cleaning machine, which lasted for 40 minutes and did not stop until we quarreled with them. The worst of which was the treatment of the reception staff and the room reservation manager. When I checked out of the room, they promised me that the administration would call to understand what the problem was, but no one called. An experience that will not be repeated. I do not recommend it. I am sure they will reply with the same answers to all comments!

Restaurant beautifully decorated. Staff were excellent, very polite and keen to help. Became really busy at 8pm and the food area became slight cramped. Many Indian dishes, spring rolls and biryani was tasty but tikka chicken and naans could have been better. Best highlight was the tasty grilled fish. There were a good number of vegetarian dishes. Desserts also enjoyable. Only downside was the drinks which were expensive- a litre bottle of water is qr20.

My husband and I stayed over the weekend to celebrate my birthday. What made it more special, is the superb quality of service we received from the team of Mandarin Oriental from check-in to check out. We recieved a warm welcome from Alkista during the reservation as well as upon our arrival in the hotel premises. We also appreciate the assistance of Zoe from the front desk who showed exceptional effort to welcome us, even guided us towards our room and allowed us to have a late checkout at 4pm. The Deluxe room is spacious with a nice view of Barahat Msheireb town square. As we entered the room , a delectable choices of dates with a birthday greeting cake was prepared for me. The F&B team from the Mandarin lounge were also very accommodating. The foods were great and overall, we really enjoyed our short stay. We plan to experience the pool and spa amenities in our next visit once the covid restrictions are lifted. Inshallah!

Worth to mention these awesome staffs whose superb at their work named Amit, Kelvin and Anna from dine area, tje concierge staffs,Bins and his team from housekeeping that always arrange the "playground of my daughter😊 and last but not the least utmost thanks to Krishna from HK dept, Binnie from the reception you guys are awesome!👌 Shout out to their delicate seafoods and barbeque buffet in Al bahara Resto, fresh and lots of varieties definitely worth to visit! All are good but I recommend and wish to at least the presence of some stuffs like bathtub for moms to be more convenient for their toddlers, for the heavy door that wish to change it to sliding doors which is efficient if you carry stroller. It would be nice as well if they put a heater on kids pool, we would appreciate it and it's for the kids health concern. Last, wish and recommend if they will appoint someone for apartment's reception side that would be able to assist the apartment owners from their concerns. Hope that the staffs are more reliable and get back to you when you contacted them for any queries and requests like Binnie and Kayleen.

Going into hotels is not always interesting as you will be leaving your house where you feel more comfortable. however, staying at Hilton Double tree-Al Sadd is like staying at your own house, it's even home and not a house. Its where you feel comfortable in your room, enjoy clean and tidy housekeeping services managed by a very professional and friendly team, led by the professional, always smiling, always friendly Ms Fleur. it also where you enjoy delicious and very nice breakfasts managed by Chef Talal who always strive to provide you with the best quality of food. of course, the restaurant staff are always friendly and will always make you feel that you are the only one in the restaurant with extraordinary service. such staff are what will push you to wake up early in the morning and feel obliged to go as fast as possible to the restaurant; staff like, jeneene, Anita, Caroline, Minara, Marc, Marvellous and many others. The security team is the welcoming team at the front doors, they are always smiling, and force you to draw a smile on your face despite any long or tough day you may have, such a team is managed by the great Nicolas and by the very professional security manager Mr. Ali. The front desk team is where you find not enough words to describe. they are so friendly, always there to help you, always their to support you with all your needs and strive to exceed your expectations. they make you feel that you always have someone to look forward to meeting when heading back to the hotel, here I don't want to forget to mention Imen, Hind, Charles, Princess, and many others who make together one of the best teams in the world. the pool area is always welcoming, clean and tidy and the bar is always pushing you to visit and spend some time in a cozy and refreshing atmosphere. I got to meet the GM of the hotel who is always around and he proofed to me that such harmony in the hotel wouldn't be there without his high standards skills of management and hospitality. If I was part of any committee that would reward hotels for their services, I would never choose any other hotel in the middle east area apart from the Hilton DoubleTree Hotel-Alsadd

Spent ten days in Doha in February 2020 at the Kempinski in the West Bay area of town. While most of the property is residential apartments, five or so of the lower floors are reserved for short-term hotel rentals, while apparently having the same floor plans of the actual long-term residences. From check-in to check-out, I found this property to be amazing: fantastic customer service and an incredibly spacious suite that included a full kitchen, sitting room, and separate bedroom. Room service dining was great. (Did not sample the on-site restaurants.) Property is close to a full-service mall, Carrefour superstore, and the brand-new spotless Doha Metro system. Cannot recommend this property highly enough.

I stayed here for just under 12 months as my company placed me here for a long term stay due to work. They gave me an executive studio with a small kitchenette and separate bathroom. The starting rent per month was 9500 QAR PRO (1) After 3 months and then 6 months, they reduced my monthly rent by 500 QAR per month without me asking (2) The staff at the reception were generally friendly and attentive during my stay (3) The gym is modern, with the latest equipment, with TVs, music. There is a separate women only gym next door (4) There is a sauna room and outdoor pool (5) You have a cafe/takeaways outside (chain restaurants/cafes) (6) It is located about 10 min walk from the cor-niche and sea (7) The rooms themselves have new(ish) furniture, fittings and cutlery with a washing machine in them CON (1) If you are facing the main road (diplomatic street) and below the 12th floor it is incredibly noisy at night as biker use it frequently (sometimes till 3 am). Ear plugs are recommended. If your room/apartment does face the road, but if your room faces inland, the view is just of another hotel, but is quieter (2) The free internet has 1 GB limit per day, so you can probably only watch 30-45 minutes of your favourite Netflix show before it drops to a snail pace. You can pay extra for more, but was expensive, 500-600 QAR/month for a 20 GB package. (3) There was very limited choice of cable TV when I was there. You can pay for extra, but not worth it unless you intend staying 12 months (4) The gym and pool are small and they do get very busy. The gym is open to the outside users, and you do get some unruly visitors (there is no dress code or code of conduct there) (5) It is not walking distance to anything much (other than the cafes outside) (6) The cafes are a nice element, but whilst not overly expensive, they are not something you would eat every day (not healthy or well priced). Sitting outside is not practical when the traffic is going as it is like eating on the edge of a motorway (7) For me, the cleaning staff were not that good (using dirty water from another apartment to mop my apartment). (8) They asked for a 2000 QAR cash deposit, and after 12 months when I moved out, they alleged there was minor damage to one end of blind strip (1/4 inch) which was there when I moved in. The blind strip catches on the kitchen sink board as it was badly designed. If you try to pull up the blind, it will hit that edge, It will not be noticeable to any new guest. They wanted 700 QAR for it. I don't know if this is the same scam that car hire companies pull, alleging minor scratches to a car bumper and wanting hundred's of dollars from a deposit. However I have stayed at several different 3-5 star residences around the world and 4 in Doha. This is the first place that tried this on. It is also one of the reasons why I will not stay here again. It is obvious that they do not value long staying guests or the business they bring. (9) The roo

I stayed in this hotel for one night due to missing a connecting flight in Doha. The staff were fantastic, very kind and attentive. Jonathan on reception was outstanding and was very helpful during my 24 hour stay. The buffet dinner wasn't great, and resulted in me eating the rest of my meals outside of the hotel. I can't comment on the room service food or the hotel in the top floor cafe - I would guess that it is of a higher quality. The room was nice, clean and well appointed. The only negative was that the rooms were not sound proofed, which was a problem when the couple next door had a loud argument at about 2am. Housekeeping arrived within seconds, and diffused the situation. I have no clue how they got there so quickly but it was a relief that the situation was quickly managed. After reading the reviews I was looking forward to a comfortable stay at Staybridge during our stopover in Doha. We arrived at 2am on Jan2 and my first disappointment was the lobby. The furnishing were cheap and univiting (see photo) not at all what I expected from a highly rated hotel. When we got to our floor the hallway was narrow, bare, harsh white walls and floor, almost devoid of decor (see photo), again quite cold and cheap looking. Enterring the apartment there was an alcove with a table at the end (see photo) again not appealing to me. The rest of the apartment were a large dining room, bedroom with very nice bedding, kitchen, living room, two bathrooms and a terrace. I was exhausted after a 20 hour flight and just wanted to check my emails and get in bed. The electric outlets were not European nor any that would take my international adapter. Nor were there any adapters in the room. The front desk must have known that outlets in Qatar were unique but didn't say anything. Thus followed my first call to reception and waiting for someone to deliver the necessary adapter. Once plugged in I found out that, again, we weren't given a wifi code, nor was there one waiting for us in the room. That was my second call for someone to give us a wifi code (now its about 2:30am). Even with the code we still could not access the wifi so someone (#1) came to help but he couldn't solve the problem so he called for someone more knowledgeable. That person (#2) came, couldn't solve it and called for yet another person to come. That person (#3) came, assessed the situation and called his technical support. After some trial and error the problem was diagnosed and resolved. They told me that the hotels firewall was rejecting my computer, phone and tablet. At 3:30 am I finally checked my mail and went to bed. Breakfast was served from 6am to 10 am. The staff was continually checking that we were happy. The food itself was a basic spread, an egg station, some bread, cereal, etc. I don't think they had fresh fruit. After breakfast we went for a walk around the area. There was nothing!!! no shops, no cafes, no pharmacy, nothing. The location is desolate. We did walk to the water which was nearby. It was a pleasant but totally empty boardwalk. At 2pm my guide, for our afternoon tour arrived. He told me that he felt that the front desk was rude to him. When he asked for me they simply said 'Sit over there'. After our tour we returned to the hotel at about 6:30pm. We planned to spend 4 hours in the room then leave for the airport. We found that the room had not been cleaned. There were no fresh towels. One bathroom had no toilet paper. No one had replaced the used bottled water. I travel alot and have never had a hotel miss cleaning my room, never. We were at the hotel from 2am on Jan 2 until 10pm on Jan 3, 20 hours. I paid QAR 1,235, about $339 for the 2 nights. I'm very disapp
