Hotel is located in a very convenient location, only 2 minutes to the Red District and 5 minutes to the shopping Center. There is a very famous cafe just right next to the hotel. Lots of options at the hotel breakfast with excellent service. The oysters at the hotel restaurant are highly recommended. Staffs are so friendly and helpful. I left my two pairs of diamond earrings at the hotel safe after a week's stay. They helped me find them and poster them back to me in HK. I will definitely return to this hotel next time when I am in Amsterdam. The hotel's location is two minutes from the red light district. Another downtown shopping mall is five minutes away. Amsterdam's famous coffee shop is right next door. Early mornings are plentiful and the service is good. The oysters in the hall are delicious. I stayed for a week and left my two pairs of diamond earrings in the hotel safe. After returning to Hong Kong, contact the hotel. The hotel helped me find the earrings and sent them to my Hong Kong address. The earrings are intact. Thank you very much.

I absolutely loved my stay at the Hotel V Nesplein. It was phenomenal. Such a beautiful, cozy restaurant in the lobby. Dimly lit and relaxing. The location was *prime* as well. It is in a small street parallel to a large one with a lot of commerce, making it feel quiet and safe, yet in the heart of the city. I give it my highest endorsement.

Situated in the city centre of Amsterdam at 400 metres from Dam Square and 200 metres from the main shopping street Kalverstraat, 'The Private Mansion' offers a characteristic and spacious suite with free WiFi. The Private Mansions has three chambers: 'The Mayer Manor Chamber', 'The Secret Chapel Chamber' and 'The Great Barn Chamber' (this Chamber is located in Baarnbrugge).'The Mayer Manor Chamber' is located on the site of a 15th-century convent. This eclectic classically designed apartment accommodates two people in a king-size suite, housed within a three-story private mansion. The building was an old cigar factory at the beginning of 20th century, and the name of the suite honors the former owner Nico Mayer who had designed and built the building for his tobacco factory in the 1900s. The recently restored Mayer Manor combines turn-of-the-century inspired interiors with modern elegance, creating a quirky ambience. Within the suite, guests will find an antique copper bathtub, fireplace, fully-equipped kitchen and a spacious living area.'The Secret Chapel Chamber' is an historic location, full of heritage and divine riches combined with all the modern conveniences that one would want in full house suite. Although on the outside this house seems to be hidden, once inside its unique character and history is revealed to the spectator: a so-called shelter church which was used by Roman Catholics during the religious persecutions in the 18th century. It is a king-size suite where you will sleep 'on the altar'.A tram stop can be found within 200 metres and offers direct connection with the Museum District with for example the Rijksmuseum. Central Station Amsterdam can be reached within 6 minutes by tram. Schiphol Airport is at 20 km from the property.

Needless to say, the location of the hotel is convenient. It is about ten minutes away from the red light district. The breakfast is also very rich, and there are many restaurants nearby. Hotel facilities are good, the bathroom is also big, the only fly in the ointment is the table or shelf without luggage, the suitcase can only be placed on the ground. Regarding the service, I would like to say that this trip is the most dissatisfied place for me. We obviously did not smoke in the room, but we received the Warning paper, warning us not to smoke in the room, and went to the front desk to ask what happened. They said it was a staff member. I cleaned up the room and smelled of smoke. Next time I hope the hotel staff can confirm clearly, don't just pick up the guests, this feeling will make me not choose this hotel again next time. Other ratings are fair.

Friendly staff and a good, satisfactory breakfast. Cheese, boiled eggs, ham, coffee, tea, muesli, scrambled eggs, fried bacon, cereal, tomatoes… Room was on first floor, spacious, not sure why air conditioning didn’t work but there was a fan so we were ok with that. Quiet room as hotel wasn’t busy but with that in mind they could have upgraded us to a room with a view. The room had little natural light and looked out onto a concrete space. Very central and 10 mins walk to central train station. Building works going on beside Dam square which was a pain. I took a star off for not been upgraded despite it being expensive. Shower excellent and beds comfortable.

I travel a great deal. Stay in Amsterdam every year. So I have good handle on what I like and price points. Hotel NES staff is excellent and accommodating. I need an early check in and they did their best to make it happen. They had ready answers, were cheerful, and helpful. I would stay again. The location ideal if your interested in the most touristed parts of the city. It’s surprisingly quiet given your not far from bars etc. The room was clean and had a lovely peekaboo view of the canal. The bathroom spacious, simple, and hygienic. The rooms are very small however. Very small. Which is normal in most of the boutique EU hotels and that is fine. But the price point should be about €30-40 cheaper. Even for the view room since the amenities are minimal and one usually has to climb four flights of insanely steep stairs to get to the view floor as most of the time the small elevator is in use. Small quibbles: The headboard has electrical outlets and light switches built in. Which is awesome. However the location of the switch places it right under your head. If you are a mobile sleeper with a giant melon head like me you will roll over and hit that switch activating the massively oversized overhead light fixture which is so bright you will assume an atom bomb has detonated triggering a momentary adrenalized panic attack. After a few minutes once your retinas unfuse you might get back to sleep. Only to repeat this over and over. So I put on a night mask and my interrogation ended and I got some sleep. So. Suggestions to the hotel: smaller overhead light fixture with lower wattage bulbs. That light fixture is was too big for that room. And one day invest in head boards with the light switch on top of the head board.

We stayed with 6 persons (2x couple and 2x single) for the weekend, joining the Amsterdam marathon. We were able to get a good rest (despite nearby train station which is not giving much noise due to sound isolation of room 👍🏽) for our running performance and since it’s very closely located to city centre it’s easy to enjoy free time and bring over some hot food if you’re not up for a whole weekend 3x a day outdoor-eating. Kitchen and dinner table are perfect to accommodate you with eating. Room/apartment is clean and good, view is very nice! Yes you go out the door a lot but seeing the harbour in evening lights (and big boat, yes!) from your room while having a coffee-break “at your quite, own space” is enjoyable. Arrival and departure is quick and easy. City centre / central station is just few mins walk away. By car you can just drive up to front-door, unload and park your car safe and cheap at their (locked behind fence) parking spaces, so don’t park on the street! All and all, makes you feel like quite at home in a city in which I personally find that very difficult to find. Big help for this is also the staff who helps out great. So thanks! Specially to the young lady that manages the place, that’s Emi.

Although the Chinese are in business, they have not taken into account the Chinese. The breakfast is pure European style, the bathroom is too small, there are no washing supplies, not even a glass cup. We often travel on business, and we will bring personal items, but we did not expect to bring cup. Wanting to sing a sip of water, the waiter said to turn on the tap and drink it by himself. But the wash basin was too small, and my mouth couldn't get water. I want to rent a car. The hotel cannot provide any business cards. I hope the hotel can improve and support the Chinese operation as a Chinese. It's best to add one boiled water and two glasses

Staying in Amadi for three nights, a very good experience, first of all, the hotel security makes you feel at ease, the second room is very big, it is a real big bed, the bathroom facilities are excellent, the shower is big, and there is a free coffee bag in the room. The tea bag and the beer drink water in the small refrigerator are also free. The third view is first-class. The sea can be seen from the room. It is very eye-catching. The fourth service is good. The front desk is patient and thoughtful. There is a feeling of going home, the fifth traffic. It is very convenient to get to the hotel from the train station on the 26th tram line. Yes, there is free fruit at the front desk every afternoon. It is a Western meal for breakfast.

As other reviewers have mentioned, this hotel is in a shared building with another hotel & residential units, but it’s not at all inconvenient or hard to find. The reception provides free water for your room (a refillable tap) and the staff was very helpful with recommendations and also super friendly! The rooms were very clean, lovely wood floors, comfortable beds & great showers. Food, drinks & shops all within walking distance & it’s about a 15 minute walk into the central part of Amsterdam. Unfortunately, there were many restrictions due to Covid while we were there, but having a comfortable room with a helpful front desk staff made it much more bearable!

The hotel is an American Hampton. The rooms marked by Europe are large, comfortable and tidy, and the service is very good. The transportation is relatively convenient. It is very convenient to the railway station, the city center and tourist attractions (about 2 miles to the central station). After crossing the railway bridge in the front left, there are many restaurants. You can walk to the supermarket for 10 minutes, and it is convenient to buy food and fruits. Recommended!

Hotel2Stay has everything you need. It has a gym, private kitchenette, laundrette, welcoming reception and a “MiniMart”. The rooms are comfortable and the amount of space is very nice. However, it is a 5-6km walk into Amsterdam Centeral. If you wish to take the train, which is a 2min walk from the accommodation, it will cost a minimum of 3 euro for one-way. There isn’t much else around the hotel. We were disappointed with how far out to Amsterdam the hotel was. Apart from the location it was a great stay.

The hotel is very close to the train station. The first time I ran to another ibis, this is the ibis style hotel. But this is closer to the business district. In fact, the two ibis are about 3 minutes walk. The hotel room is very small, basically can only open the big suitcase checked in the bed, maybe the hotel in Amsterdam is so big. The hotel breakfast is OK, the breakfast of each hotel is similar. Bustling commercial street, pedestrian street is on the edge, shopping is very convenient

I booked a room in this hotel - I had to pay part of the additional fees 241 rubles .. but it takes 2 times more from me at the reception desk. 6.64 EUR !!! photo of my reservation, photo of the receipt from the reception about the requirement in the photo below. I almost do not understand English. But all I could understand was that the additional fees every day are different in amount. So kaa yesterday with me 3.40 EURO took the surcharge, but I have a reservation today. And the surcharge on it today? Why is there one extra charge when booking, but in fact they require 2 times more? What should I do in this case? Do I have the right to pay 241 rubles -3.49 EURO as shown in the reservation? Why is the Princess Hotel not informing the Trip.com website about another surcharge on this day? Or is the Trip.com website writing the wrong surcharges? Please understand the situation!

A beautiful hotel in a quiet/relax area. Staff was great, the common areas are cool and the vibe is good. My only big problem was how hot the room was, I read they have it but once you are there they tell you there is no AC, some rooms don't even have a window, they gave us a fan but it was not enough. The room was hot and uncomfortable to sleep for the same reason. I loved the hotel but for this reason I would never stay here again during summer.

My family and I stayed at the Hotel Clemens in March 2022. The stairs were definitely a shock when we arrived, especially with the exhaustion of our redeye flight. You ring the bell, the buzz you in, and you are met with a WALL of stairs that at first seem endless. We all burst out laughing but boy oh boy, they were not easy. Of course, this is par for the course in Amsterdam, and we understood that; it gave us a more local experience than we’d had staying at a larger hotel with wide corridors, a real lobby, and elevators. The staff helped with the our luggage, which was very appreciated. They were super friendly. The location was fabulous; we walked everywhere. Unfortunately, there was also a lot of construction nearby, which was noisy and made some of our walks a little awkward on account of having to cross the street multiple times due to sidewalk closures. The room was SO tiny though. I mean it was functional, there was always hot water in the (likewise TINY) shower, and it got an amazing amount of natural light, but wow, it was really, really tight. Breakfast was fine, though sometimes it took them a while to restock the more popular bread items, and the only yogurt they had most mornings was a very runny plain yogurt in small glass pitchers; individual fruit yogurts were only offered one morning. Overall good if you can get it for under $175/night, which we did. Anything more is way overpriced for the steep climb to tiny rooms.

Review Staff: Friendly, Helpful and Kind, staff were bilingual from what I could understand English and Dutch Location: Easy to get to via bus by the 397 from the Schiphol Airport to the Van Gogh Museum and walk 10-15 minutes or take the Tram 3 the rest of the way. Amenities: They offer multiple consoles to select from to put in your room if you're into that and have a mini cafe/bar in the lounge. Cleanliness: Bedding and towels were clean on arrival but there was a weird smudged substance on the wall that was not cleaned for some reason. Would I recommend: If you are into gaming it's a great location to stay and the price is not bad. There's a nice variety of consoles and games to select but with other peoples reviews and my experience I would not be able to verify how clean your room may be upon arrival.

Pension Homeland is a cool spot, in a great location, with a very nice staff. The hotel is nice, with views of the marina, a nice bar and restaurant. All the staff was very nice and welcoming with kind greetings and recommendations for things to do. While the room was small, but I think standard size in most European hotels from what I’ve gathered in my travels, the bed was comfy, the room was clean, and we had an unobstructed view of the courtyard and marina. Most things were walkable, if you don’t mind walking ☺. In about 20 minutes, steady pace walking time, you can get to Amsterdam Central, the Red Light district, tons of restaurants, the canal/canal rides and attractions, and stops for the Hop on Hop off bus. We loved our stay at the Westcord Art hotel. 4 of us 2 parents 2 young adults. We stayed 4 nights bed and breakfast. Our rooms were really good. Junior suite was perfect and great having the seating. Us parents were upgraded as our suite was not available and wow! We had one of the posh suites a real treat. House keeping good for both rooms. We ate breakfast every day. A really good choice of English breakfast ( yes bacon and sausage) along with continental and pastries . Plenty of juices and hot drinks. It was all help yourself so could fill yourself up for the day. It was busy at certain times but opening up till 10.30 meant plenty of time for everyone. We used the restaurant for evening meal once and also some lunch time snacks and drinks. Evening meal was excellent. It does get booked up so you have to be quick to get in. We stayed in the current heatwave and rooms stayed cool . Probably because of the heat it felt a long way walking in . Used the bus also which was easy. But actually for 4 adults it was similar price to use taxis in . We didn't use the pools as we were so busy but they looked great. Staff really helpful and English speaking. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

I never wrote negative review about any hotels I have stayed in the past but this hotel is the worst one which I must inform others travellers. We booked a canal facing double room in the month of March before covid19 pandemic started unfortunately we were not able to travel due to lockdown so we politely ask hotel by email if we could extend another date or if that's not possible cancel our reservation & ask for voucher but hotel seems never replied back even we have been trying call the hotel few days before travelling but no one responded our calls so finally after tried calling the hotel get through a person who pretend not to be the manager ask us call back not really helpful at all. So we had no other option to cancel our reservation & waited for receiving the balance money after calculation fees deducted but the hotel never refunded back any amount in fact they blame us for the cancellation. I think this hotel does not care about their customer only interested customer money when everyone suffering this pandemic it's really sad to loose money for nothing that we could not even stayed Beware of this hotel if booked via booking.com no free cancellation any circumstances customer faced hotel staff does not replied or don't send full refunds

This was my second visit to the Moxy Amsterdam and surely not the last. After visiting many properties around Europe, I can say this property is definitely my favourite one. The facilities follow a typical Moxy layout, but there are some special details that turn the Moxy Amsterdam way more special. The pool is amazing, the gym could be located at any 5-star hotel and the breakfast is top notch. I loved to have the breakfast at the upper level with great views to Amsterdam. The natural light is incredible. However, the true secret of this hotel is its Team (as any other good hotel!). The very well trained Moxy Crew went above and beyond to make sure my best friend would have a great birthday celebration - and they prepared our bedroom in a very Moxy way. Congratulations to all the Moxy Crew and its Captain for taking the guest experience to the next level! And thank you very much for the great time!
