This hotel was outstanding. It has everything one might find in any exceptional hotel…. nice lobby; good small bar for after dinner drinks; tasty breakfast buffet; very nice workout facilities with a steam room; and, of course very comfortable rooms with very contemporary baths and excellent toiletries. But what really makes an outstanding hotel is an outstanding staff. This team was more than just friendly and very helpful. They went out of their way to make sure that everything was perfect. Great directions, great recommendations for dinner, and many offers to help with bags, luggage, cabs, etc. This hotel is also very conveniently located near many restaurants, the Louvre and many other attractions. We enjoyed our stay here and will certainly return every chance we get.

Stayed six nights and would love to go back, 150% thanks to the service we received. All the people at the front desk were extremely friendly, engaging and helpful. We always felt welcomed - I can't say enough good things about the service we received and how much we liked everyone we met at the hotel. We stayed at the Marie Antoinette room, which was nice and spacious. The facilities weren't the newest, but they were perfectly fine and everything was functional. The hotel is small (only one room per floor) and I was very impressed at how well stocked the hotel was. Great housekeeping everyday too. Bed was comfortable, pillows were fine. Slept very well. Awesome awesome location, in the middle of everything, easy to get to and close to a major metro stop. It felt safe because there was always activity at night thanks to its central location, but it wasn't loud at night, so it's really a good balance. Thanks again for a wonderful stay, hope to be back again soon.

I took my daughter on a trip for her 12th birthday and her first time in Paris. We choose the L'Empire Paris hotel and were very happy with our choice. Firstly, the staff couldn't have been more friendly or service oriented. Every interaction with all of them was pleasant, even when they had the difficult job of telling us our air conditioner wouldn't be working on the last night (and it was HOT!). They were always available, helpful, accomodating, professional and quick. The owner of the hotel should be very proud of their front desk staff (both daytime and night time). We had breakfast at the hotel just one morning and it was lovely. Typical French breakfast of croissants, pain de chocolate, baguette, butter, jams and coffee. All fresh and plentiful. Again, the staff was quick and service oriented. The hotel was clean and comfortable. We had a king size bed which was very comfortable. The pillows could be too firm for people who like very soft pillows but I happen to like firm ones. The room was very spacious for a Paris hotel (after reading other room sizes) and we didn't feel like we were on top of one another. There was plenty of wardrobe room. The only negative was the shower being very high and slippery. Unfortunately my daughter took a tumble onto the floor when getting out. I told the front end staff and he took note of it and said he would mention it to the owners. Just a hand bar for holding, or slip mats would be an easy fix. The neighborhood was great and we always felt safe. Plenty of shops, restaurants, bakeries and a stone's throw away from the Louvre. Public transportation was easily accessible. Should we return to Paris I would definitely stay at L'Empire again.

We spent 3 nights in a superior room. It was very small. Did not match the size depicted on the website. My wife talked to the desk clerk twice but it was supposedly a superior. It worked. Good location for Louvre, Orsay and St Germain area which was important with the transit strike. My biggest complaint was that the lady taking care of the breakfast buffet (10 euros pp) was not doing her job. Food was not replenished frequently enough nor were tables cleaned quickly. My timing for breakfast was good so I was not directly impacted but one morning my wife had to wait while the lady went out and got more croissants. People at the desk were very helpful and friendly without being intrusive. I would read in the lobby area for a couple of hours each evening.

This is not a fancy hotel--know that right off the bat. But if you want a safe, quiet, affordable hotel in a great location, Tonic Hotel du Louvre is a good choice. We stayed in room 205 for a February trip. It was a tight room with two twin beds, but it had everything we needed--comfortable mattresses, a view of the street with the classic Paris architecture, plenty of hotwater, great water pressure, a safe, a tv, a coffee maker, a tea maker, a fridge, a good lock on the door and a charminglook--exposed brick walls, high, beamed ceiling and large windows that opened (no screens). The front desk staff were all very friendly and helpful during our four-day stay. There's a cute little bar where they give you a free welcome drink the night you arrive. We didn't have the breakfast, but they do also offer that. The neighborhood is the best part of this hotel--a 5-minute walk from the Chatelet-Les Halles train station, close to shopping, bakeries, wine shops, restaurants, etc. It was safe to walk at night. Again, it's a little frayed around the edges--could use updated decor, new carpet, etc.--but it's a good, safe place to stay.

We selected this hotel because it is one of the American Express Hotel Collection so we knew it would be good. We were not disappointed. We received an upgrade when we arrived and so we enjoyed a small, very elegant suite. The hotel has recently been renovated and it's a fresh and clever combination of traditional Parisian and modern. There are two restaurants - a bar which serves small bites all day, and an excellent formal restaurant. We enjoyed very good food and service at both. The front desk and all management was professional and responsive if we had a request. The hotel is one block from the Louvre, and offered a special morning tour on the Friday that we were there. The guide was very knowledgeable, entry into the museum was free, and we skipped the line! You won't go wrong staying here. We are planning our next trip to Europe to begin at the Hotel du Louvre!

The reservation was made through the two platforms and stayed at this hotel for 6 nights. Overall, the hotel is in a good location. Near the Chatelet Lobby Station, you can take the r line to the Charles de Gaulle Airport, which is a transportation hub. The subway line meets here, and it is convenient to go anywhere. In addition, you can walk to the Louvre from the hotel, walk to the Seine River and go to the Paris Ancient Prison, the Saint Chapel, the Medieval Museum, Notre Dame and other attractions. The hotel is also in the middle of the street. Quiet, law and order is completely no problem, we took the baby often after 10 o'clock in the evening to take the subway back to the hotel, did not find anything wrong. At first, the hotel arranged for us 201 rooms. Although there was a small terrace, the room type was a knife-type type. It was not easy to use. After communicating with the hotel, it changed to No. 507 the next day. This street view has a long small balcony. On the street, the bed is kingsize, visually 1.8 meters or more, and the sofa in the room can be opened and laid into a 1.5-meter bed, just to sleep for the baby, the bed is very comfortable. The breakfast at the hotel is served in an independent restaurant next to the downstairs. The breakfast is exquisite and delicious, but the variety is not good but the quality is very good. In addition, everyone said that the à la carte eggs have to be added but we have not met, because with the baby, we are single I ordered omlet and fried double egg and bacon, but I didn’t pay any more. Every morning, when the room is cleaned, two large bottles of Evian will be placed. When the bed is opened in the evening, two small bottles of Evian will be placed on the bed. The service personnel will greet each other when they enter and leave. The first day, the baby accidentally broke a glass, the cleaner. I quickly cleaned up and did not ask for compensation. The next day I also sent a baby toy, a picture book and a colored pencil. The baby was happy. Overall this hotel is a good choice. There is a small pool and spa on the first floor of the hotel. We only visited it and didn't have time to experience it.

Location is the best benefit of this small but very comfortable hotel. Metro entrance is 2-steps away, all places to visit are really close, the stops for hop-on/off busses are also so close to the hotel. Louvre is only 2 min walk away, park Tuileries, Grand Opera, Rivoli street with all souvenirs shops. A lot of cafes and restaurants for all budgets are also located near by. The place itself is small but VERY cozy, staff speaks good English and always happy to assist you where necessary. Rooms are small, but very clean and tidy. We were looking for the place just to sleep over night, and didn’t require luxurious room in the city where most of the time you spend outside. So, this hotel was the BEST what we got in wonderful and convenient location. We are very much grateful to the hotel personnel who made our stay really comfortable. The best thing which we didn’t expect in such small hotel – was the lift. Yes, it was small, but it was there!! And it was working! Believe me, it’s really helpful when room is on the 4th floor, and climbing upstairs is truly exhausting, with luggage and 5-year old kid. Note for travelers: safe deposit box is NOT included in room price, and located at the reception desk. If you travel during warm season – there is NO AC, but you can open windows, to let the fresh air in, and turn on fans. BUT, be aware of mosquitos, you should take care of fumigation (as we didn’t, our kid left the hotel quite bitten). For breakfast – I’d suggest to choose Baguett's Café, located 2 steps away.

I booked this hotel just for the location. It is very close to the Louvre and the subway station. The scenery around the hotel is very beautiful. The facilities are not very good, the shower is not comfortable, but at least there are hairdryers, towels and bed sheets, and they look clean. The public safe is rented at the front desk. One person at the front desk told me 4 Euros a day and the other told me 2 Euros a day & # 128514 ;. The Wi-Fi signal was very bad. I lived in the room closest to Wi-Fi and felt a bit slow. I also encountered a day when there was no Wi-Fi at all. But the French, don't ask too much. In our school, there can be no Wi-Fi for two days, and the library can only borrow and return books by hand. . . The front desk service is still very good, English is fluent, and it looks like it often receives Chinese guests. Breakfast was not tried and looked shabby. But there is a small supermarket opposite the hotel, there are Japanese restaurants within a few steps, and there is no need to eat in the hotel. All in all, it is a small hotel. If you are used to a large hotel, you will feel that the facilities are simple.

We stayed at the Normandy (Le Chantier) over the summer and left with wonderful memories of a quirky, fun yet luxurious stay. We weren't sure what to expect at the time of booking as we were aware that the hotel was still undergoing some renovation work - which could have easily affected the experience. Yet, a friend recommended the place for an experiential stay and we are very glad we booked! The team really took advantage of the construction work to turn a charming hotel into something else altogether. We've never seen anything quite like it. The hotel's old world charm still permeates the property, but the rugged, raw feel of a construction site completely transforms the experience. What might have been boring to some becomes fun, even trendy somehow. The rooms, on the other hand, are newly renovated and tastefully appointed. Attention to detail is felt throughout and the vintage furniture neatly complements the contemporary interiors. Service was professional and the bistro downstairs was quite good and reasonably priced (all things being considered). The location is arguably the best in the city - a stone's throw away from most attractions such as the Louvre, the Opera and the Centre Pompidou contemporary art museum. Rates were amazing when we stayed, especially considering the design and the hotel's location. Highly recommended.

In Christmas 2019 in France, I ordered a Superior King Room (with sofa bed). The size of the room is already relatively large in Paris. The two 24-inch boxes can be spread out and can be used at the same time. Hotel location: In the 1st district, about 10 minutes from the Louvre if not. The entrance of the hotel is Line 1 and Line 14 subway stations, which is very convenient (although we happened to strike in France when we went there, the subway stopped ... But it is very convenient to live here if you come here to play). There are a variety of restaurants near the hotel downstairs, from McDonald's to Italian French and Japanese. There is also a 10-minute walk from St. Eustache Church. The church will have an organ show around 5pm on Sunday, which is worth a look. Room facilities: There is a kettle (I originally brought a portable kettle, but the boiled water has white foam. In the end, I can only use the hotel. Fortunately, the hotel's kettle is quite clean. The shampoo and bath are two in one. Washing hands and washing face in one. The smell is very comfortable. It doesn't dry out after washing. Breakfast: Special! do not! it is good! We stayed in Paris for 5 nights. One of the most anticipated daily is the hotel breakfast. There are various types of bread such as ham, bacon, cheese, and baguettes. The best thing is their croissant and small square chocolate filling. The bag has a particularly crispy outer skin, and the inside is very soft. The fruits are also cut. The oranges, kiwis, pineapples, grapefruits, bananas, and watermelons are also available. You can also squeeze the juice directly (but the grapefruit is a bit bitter and is not recommended ), The coffee machine is also self-service, there are latte, fast coffee, cappuccino, etc., hot dishes are omelet, tomato sauce, bean sauce, boiled potatoes, etc. Others are oatmeal, raspberry juice, grapefruit juice and orange juice ( Of course it's ice). If you want to eat fried eggs, you can tell the waiter that the kitchen is fried and delivered to the location. Overall the hotel experience is very good.

A short walk from the Louvre, the Opera House, Eglise Saint Roch(Christmas Mass), Le Royal Opera restaurant and the Monoprix market. JanTchi, was just across the street(Michelin Star). Nearby shopping on Rue Saint-Honore(Channel, Dior, Hermes,...). We walked extensively at all hours of the day and night and always felt safe. Greeted by Said, the concierge, who assisted in our check-in. Elevator took us to our 4th floor room. The room, “Tradition”, was cozy, comfortable, and spotless. The bed was just right, and the bath had plenty of hot water. The towels and linen were luxurious and plentiful. The room was soundproof as we heard no noises at night. Their staff is fluent in English. The manager, Fanny, was extremely helpful and in making our reservations online from Tucson, AZ. The front desk personnel, especially Viviana, were helpful in guiding us to various sights and procuring discounted tickets to attractions. For parking use Parking Public le Louvre online. The breakfast was scrumptious and plentiful. The scrambled eggs were special as were all the varieties of breads offered. We were late risers so we looked forward to a 9:30 am breakfast each morning. The other guests we met in the restaurant were from all over the world, most return customers. The lobby is inviting with two sitting areas. Afternoon refreshments are served. A great place to watch the world go by and meet fellow travelers. We highly recommend the hotel and when back in Paris we will stay there again.

The hotel location is very good, very close to the Arc de Triomphe, a five minute walk to the subway station can also take a direct bus to and from Charles de Gaulle and Orly Airport. Facilities breakfast also fully reached the four-star standard, the gym is relatively small. The front desk is more enthusiastic. There is a little brother who can speak Chinese, which makes communication more convenient.

Stayed at the B&B hotel for three nights while visiting Disney. Anyone looking for a cheap place to stay this is perfect. Hotel is spotlessly clean, really friendly staff, good sized rooms with comfortable beds and shower room. The hotel serves a simple dinner of pasta or pizza which is great, easy to order and quick to come. Breakfast is simple but just want you need at the start of the day. Tables were cleared quickly and everything very clean and presented well. We were worried about the shuttle overcrowding but there are a few services which only run from the B&B hotel and others which go to the other four hotels on the complex which makes it easy. We always got on a bus even if it was busy and never had to wait long! Lockers are available to store luggage if your arrive before your room is ready or check out early. We will be back on our next disney trip!

We recently stayed 3 nights at Le General Hotel (Mar 9-12, 2020). We were warmly greeted by Gaëlle as soon as the doors opened and we’re very impressed by the hospitality through the check in process (take a seat, would you like tea or coffee, enjoy some baked goods). It was the most pleasant experience after a very long day of travel & so nice compared to the typical wait in line at a cold desk waiting for your room key! Gaëlle who welcomed us, also took some time to answer some questions my husband and I had, including giving us some maps (of the local area, and of the Paris city centre/transit map) and offered some suggestions on where to eat and what to visit. She spoke English well, made us laugh & was a great first impression for the hotel (she also didn’t make us feel like were were putting her out)! Our room was very clean, comfortable and well styled for such a small room (which seems common in Paris) - we even had a balcony which was a very nice surprise! I’m not easily pleased at hotels - typically because of the bathrooms, but everything was clean, and no visible Mold in the shower/tub combo and in the corners of the bathroom floors. Great shower pressure & hot hot water, and the (Skinjay) essential oil shower pods were a very nice touch. We slept great - nice comfortable bed & pillows. We had 1 large suitcase, and 2 small wheeled carry on suitcases. The space was tight (we managed to get our large suitcase opened on the floor between the door, bathroom and bed when we needed to access it) but it was enough space for 2 people. Complements to your cleaning staff, the level of clean remained consistent on each day we stayed (fresh bedding/towels), the coffee station (Nespresso!) & complementary bottled water was restocked every day. We were thankful for the small safe in the room (something that wasn’t offered in other hotels I considered). As first time visitors in Paris, we were unsure of the location, but having the Metro station so close (Republique) we were able to take the train in time to see the sunset at the Eiffel Tower on our 1st night, during our sightseeing & took it back to Charles De Gaulle Airport (CDG) instead of a taxi to save ourselves (30€) on our way home. We were impressed how easy and clear the metro was to use (we never got lost or confused) and bought t+ tickets (carnet de 10 - 16,90€) for travelling around Paris sightseeing. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel, as there were many places we wanted to eat at on our short trip, so we cannot comment on that aspect of our stay. We used the free wifi in the evenings and didn’t have any issues with it, fast & no interruptions in service. On our last day Rachelle, upon checked out, offered to keep our luggage so we could enjoy our last hour in the city before heading to the airport. We had asked about where we could go to buy macarons as we had forgot & ran out of time. Rachelle & Morgane saved the day and offered us a complementary box - talk

For the first time in a hotel model, the century-old building is said to be a historical cultural relics protection unit in Paris, so it is completely banned. My old cigarette can only smoke in a small yard. Miss Luo is very enthusiastic, let us have the feeling of going home. There is a black guy in night shift who speaks Chinese very well. He said that he read a book in Guangzhou. In the morning, the girl named Marty also speaks Chinese. There is no problem at all, and at the same time give us a lot of advice on the tour, much stronger than those that are not reliable. It is very convenient to exit the subway 50 meters away. This area is a safe place for French people to live in. The room is big enough to be the floor-to-ceiling glass window in Europe. Our bedroom is very close to the yard, so the living room is a bit noisy. It is highly recommended to add a Chinese breakfast. It is really not suitable for those cheese breads, and it is better to have Chinese TV. If you have the opportunity to come back to Paris, you will still come to the Paris Residence.

Good location, nearby Carrefour, franprix and other supermarkets! I live on the 2nd floor facing the street, and it is very quiet at night, but the sound insulation between the room and the room is really average. The room is not large and has a balcony (not every room, so it is best to leave a message to tell the room with a balcony when booking) ), There is also a door in the bathroom sharing a balcony with the room, so the balcony is quite large. The hotel only provides shampoo, shower gel and hair dryer. Slippers, toothbrushes and toothpaste are not provided, so it is recommended to bring your own toiletries. Lines 7 and 10 are only 5 minutes' walk from the surrounding area. Line 4 is about 15 minutes away. The 5th district is a Latin area, surrounded by universities, so it is safe! The hotel has access control locks, staff need to help open the door to enter! Breakfast is an ordinary western-style breakfast, bread, milk, eggs, oatmeal, sausage and cheese. A tax of 1.88 euros per person per night, which must be paid to the front desk when checking out. This Ctrip will also call you when you are in China to inform you that this tax must be paid to the hotel separately! The hotel provides free wlan, but the Internet speed is average, the room has air conditioning and heating. In short, the price is high!

We got a beautiful Junior Suite with Balcony, even in the city and on a street with traffic located, it was very quiet and you couldnt hear anything from outside while the doors are closed. It is very spacious and with a very pretty bathroom with luxury amenities from Hermés! And of course full equipped mini bar with Nespresso coffee machine. The breakfast is delicious and a mix from a la carte and buffet, what I love. So you can have everything what your heart desire. The best is the amazing Akasha Spa!! It is so big and has everything, big indoor pool, big sauna, big steam bath, big jacuzzi and a cold bath. Even if they are many relax beds to lay on, sometimes you are just alone and its like you have a private spa. Friendly and helpful staff all around the hotel! I definitely will return!
