This motel is a great value-for-money if you need to stop over midway for a night, like we did, as we drove from Oregon heading south for San Francisco. The location was convenient and the owner/manager (unknown, but my guess would be owner since he complained about not being able to get reliable staff) was nice. However, HIS Cadillac was parked right in front, blocking the pull-through so that you had to back up and go back out onto the street to park near your room. The floor was dirty - you could see footprints on the floor (that didn't belong to me) I was afraid to walk barefoot. In the middle of the night, I actually put my shoes on to go to the bathroom. The bathroom was clean. The beds were clean too (I checked for beg bugs first thing - the mattress & box spring were surprisingly clean!) The room was spacious. It had a microwave and refrigerator. The TV was small. Maybe 29 inches? The neighborhood was commercial and quiet - even being right off I-5.

The staff was accomadating and helpful. We had car problems and the hotel was close by to hwy. The hotel has a large green grass area for our bud to run around. Next door is dennys restaurant made it easier during our stay while truck was being repaired. We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed our stay.

We have spent years staying at the Best Western in Red Bluff on our way South and North to visit family in California. The hotel is clean and updated, the staff are so friendly and helpful that you feel as if you've gone back in time, and the pool is simply charming. Where else can you enjoy a clean saline pool that features both a beautiful coy pond and a large bird sanctuary full of finch, parrot, parakeet, and more who are so accustomed to people that they approach you to say hi and chirp wonderful bird song to enjoy? An excellent hotel, quiet, clean, and the breakfast is excellent. The check-in and check-out staff are very thorough, my room was well maintained, and I was amazed at the quiet. This was my second stay and I will continue to use this hotel when I am in Red Bluff.

Our stay was comfortable and there were no problems. The breakfast was very good with eggs, bacon and waffles. The only issue was that the in-room refrigerator did not have a freezer so we couldnt re-freeze our blue ice for our cooler. Location was just off the I-5 freeway so this was convenient.

Travelled with Parents and kids. Rooms are decent but there was strange odor in rooms, seemed like they were not well ventilated or it was not used for long time. Location is nice , easy to find. there are few eating places nearby. Gas station is just in parking lot so any quick thing can be grabbed. Main desk crew is nice. breakfast is good selection.
