Hotels Near Crab At Bay In Singapore
3.98km from downtownEnjoyed my stay at this hotel. Location is convenient to nearby eateries, convenience store, bus stop and ZhongShan Mall. Room is considered quite spacious with basic budget hotel. But however , the toilet basin and toilet bowl were quite stink though.. Only this need to be improved.
3.85km from downtownIts very nice and have big bed room its good for money. Down step the hotel have eating house very convenient. Its Also near to like orchard road and other Shopping ctr too. And the room price is very enconomical. Pls call up the hotel and ask more.
4.08km from downtownMy room was very clean, and the leaking toilet was repaired soon, which was not bad. The side effect of being cheaper without windows is that people tend to get sleepy, but this is the only way to save money. There are eating places all around, which is ideal for foodies. The cleaning aunt and the front desk are very good. It takes 10 minutes to go to the coin-operated washing machine to wash clothes, which is more convenient.
3.74km from downtownVery nice hotel, booked for children, close to schools and commercial streets, the surrounding environment is also very good, the service is also very good, have the opportunity to experience the hotel.
3.75km from downtownGood choice for overnight stay. Location is excellent for bus traveler but far away from MRT. Famous chicken rice and rice dumpling nearby. Cleanliness ok but could find previous tenants' hair easily on corner and floor. Toilet/bathroom is small and tv has bad channel signal. Overall, overall above standard.
4.43km from downtownThe bathtub room facility is not indicated in the official website and travel booking app filters, but I chanced upon it when reading one of the traveler reviews. Limited rooms offer a bathtub at $15 upgrade fee per night. It reminds me of Carlton Hotel, and is a much better alternative than other hotels with the tub enclosed in the bathroom with solid walls.
I booked a 3D2N stay as a work stress-reliever. The location is accessible by a bus ride from Braddell or Toa Payoh MRT. There's 7-11, Starbucks, McDonald's, and other small shops in the attached mall. You can enjoy a quiet and relaxing stay away from the city center. Food at the hotel's New Ubin Seafood restaurant is tasty, and a $20 dining credit is offered to guests. From Mon to Fri, there are affordable lunch sets at $15 with $5 top-up for desserts. The Banana Gula Melaka is a must-try!
In-room dining comes in take-out containers handed in a paper bag. I had expected at least a tray service with proper cutlery. I ordered chicken porridge as it was raining. Taste is not exceptional, but the youtiao is good, with fishcake filling and lots of sesame seeds.
I came at the hotel at 2:15 pm and there's already a long queue. 20 mins later, the front desk staff asked me to check-in inside the business center where an additional counter was set-up. Cha kindly assisted me and was offered an upgrade. She initially said king-sized tub upgrade, but I realized later that it was an upgrade from city view to corner park view room. Check-in took 30 mins overall, so would recommend coming in early to get priority even if you have indicated preferences by email beforehand. They respond to emails fast, btw, and also concise and courteous. Room was not ready until an hour and a half later. I was offered a free drink at the bar while waiting, but I just opted to go for a late lunch.
Room is very clean and the bed is neatly pressed, except for a smudge of dried toothpaste on the kettle and a strand of long hair in the tub which I quickly washed off -- no big deal as I think limited housekeeping staff is rushing to serve all guests. Chiller is smaller than usual and not very cold. The pillows are dense but too soft to my liking, but the firmness of the bed is okay. Desk is a good size for work, but chair is stiff and may not be good for long sitting hours. Park view faces east so the room is not hot in the afternoon and you can enjoy a view of the pocket park and the nearby Buddhist temple. There's a smart TV, but there's no Netflix or YouTube app installed which is a shame. Analog cable TV is available with few channels and a non-working entertainment service (movie selections) which the staff clarified that the vendor is no longer supporting. I wish they had told this during check-in and also handed out the in-room dining menu which I had to ask for later on. A good entertainment system would encourage more repeat guests going for staycation, but I understand that this may not be a priority for business travelers which I think what the hotel is targeting. There are guests serving SHN and use a dedicated lobby entry and elevator.
Few guests are using the pool and gym, especially at night, even during my stay with high-occupancy rate. The service center hotline takes at least 5 rings (not busy tone) before getting picked up probably due to high occupancy. I initially thought it's not working so went down to the front desk. Staff are more friendly and approachable than intimidating 5-star business hotels.
I enjoyed my stay and had a quite relaxing holiday as I had hoped. Would definitely be back and would consider booking a room again for my family and friends when travel from the Philippines is allowed again. Direct booking costs much more even for Wyndham Rewards members, so would recommend scanning travel apps like trip.com.
3.44km from downtownThis youth hostel is very good. I have lived here for 20 days. The staff who have made friends with the locals are very kind. There is a handsome guy called Hatta 🤵♂️, and every day, he will help others patiently answer other people’s questions. If you want to travel, he will also give you the most sincere advice. The address of the hotel is very good, and the surrounding area is very cheap snacks, very authentic.
It is very close to Little India, and the traffic is very convenient. The most important point is that laundry in Singapore is very expensive. 5 yuan! Singapore dollars, but you can wash clothes in this hotel. It's free
Recommend a personal trip to live here especially for people who want to save money like me.
It’s very safe inside. All people are very kind and will help others. The comfort is the highest in the same price range. The most kind people at the same price of comfort.

3.45km from downtownThe hotel is very close to Wenqing subway station, walk 5.6 minutes. The youth hostel is very small. It has a lot of capsule beds in one room, but the capsule room is well designed. It is very spacious to sleep alone. The closed door is your own private space. Bedding, lighting, safe, charging plug, usb, and mirror are all available in the capsule. The access to the card is safe, and the bathroom is clean. Although there are many people, this is still in place. With breakfast, it is simple cereal. And toast bread, coffee milk variety. The front desk attitude is very good, that is, one of the lights in my room is broken and cannot be turned off. The Indian brother first said that the light in each room could not be turned off. He lied. Actually, it was not. Later, he let him think of a solution. In short, the overall is a good hostel, you can choose this next time you go to Singapore, it is recommended ~~~~~~

Hotels Near Crab At Bay In Singapore Review
Prior to check-in date, the hotel had contacted via phone and email for pre-arrival check. It’s great that manager Jason was able to confirm the baby cot that I had requested when making the reservation.
On arrival, the bell had promptly came over to help with our luggage. This is helpful as there seems to be only stairs at the driveway as I can’t find another alternative.
Once I stepped into the lobby, I noticed a refreshing scent that lifted my mood. While waiting for my room key, I was presented with welcome drinks. They had assisted to show the way to the room, along they way we were brought to the spa area and the guest service also shared that there is a aeroponics farming area next to the spa reception. Even though it’s only 2nd floor but we were amazed with room’s high ceiling, something that most of us don’t have it at home. Their floor to ceiling window let in good amount of natural lighting into the room. I lived the complimentary healthy snacks that’s placed in the room together with the complimentary still and sparking water. The spacious room once again hit the right spot to make your feel relaxed and calm.
During the stay, we visited that aeroponics area again as we were mesmerized by how easy plants could be grown indoor. I remembered there is a plant called lemon balm, Liza was very kind to share with us how this aeroponics farming works and gave us some of the lemon balm leaves. I added the lemon balm leaves into the sparking water that was available in the room for a refreshing drink to end of the night.
Breakfast was great with the usual western and continental selection, what’s more interesting is their five dim sum warrior breakfast set and also their barramundi mixed oat congee. You must try these when you are there.
I will like to thank a couple of people who we had interacted with and had made our stay pleasant: Jason for the wonderful connecting room arrangement, Liza who was at the wellness lounge area at around 9pm and she took the effort to share with us their interesting Grobrix aeroponic system and the plants growing there, Xiao Yun, Joey and Hanish who cleaned and sanitised the room. There are many more of them, I wished I could remember all their names.
There is so much more to write and share, but one thing that I should not missed is that you have to stay two nights to truly experience a good retreat from the usual hassle and bustle. It’s definitely different from staying at the city hotel. If you want a good rejuvenating experience, please check out this hotel.
Stayed at the 2 bedroom deluxe room for my family of 4, which is a rare find for us. Typically we will get 2 interconnecting rooms. But this 2 bedroom arrangement comes with a living hall which is good for family bonding. The only downside is that there is only 1 bathroom, and 1 powder room (we took it quite well ... treat it as if we ate staying at a Japanese ryokan which only has 1 bathroom) ... 😄
Overall location, cleanliness, facilities and service are above standard. However, the sound insulation is poor in the room I stayed in - 0705. I could hear the motorbike from the road and other guests chatting along the corridor. It could be an issue for light sleepers.

I booked this place on a long layover in Singapore, and this place is so cool! Now, the showers and amenities are pretty much like most hostels (nothing special, but more than adequate), but the pod itself was actually quite nice! Inside feels very futuristic, and it comes with your own power outlets and a/c. Bedding and pillow were soft, and the Chinatown location is a plus!
Just 2 days before my check-in date, I've already given a 5 stars rating! Reason? I received an email from the hotel to do eCheck-ins! Upon doing so, I also received another email for booking of breakfast, pools, gyms etc! OMG! How many hotels have this super convenient and how many of you had even queued from 3pm for hours for check-ins? This is my first and the best hotels experience even before I step into the hotel! THIS IS REALLY AWESOME! Oh, I haven't started to comment on my staycation yet ah... Yap, not yet, and on top of that, an sms was sent a day before allocating a much earlier time(I don't wanna share the exact timings but you'll never imagine! 🤭) to avoid crowdings. And can you imagine 1 day before my check-in date, I've completed all my eCheck-ins, breakfast, gym and pool bookings! On the check-in date, I just scan the QR code which was issued and it took less than 5-10mins for the staff to prepare the room cards for us to start our staycation! Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful everywhere! As for the room and breakfast, I'll just let the photos do the talkings! 👍
The location is very good, the subway is 5-10 minutes walk, but it is a bit old, watching furniture is very chronological, haha, the exterior wall is also very popular in Nanyang style, there are characteristics, service enthusiasm, direct Chinese communication Just fine, it’s early, but there is room for check-in. It’s very nice. It’s very lively at night, and there are a lot of things to eat at night market.
The rooms were spacious. Location’s really convenient. The customer service was superb! They would legit make sure you have a good stay at the hotel. I really would love to come back again primarily is because of the customer service they provided for us. It was a memorable experience.
The service is much better than before. The hygienic sheets and quilts need to be checked carefully. I hope I don’t have such sheets next time I stay. I wasted my time to change rooms, at least they should be clean.
The hotel is located in a good location. There are many food centers around. If you want to do something for yourself, there are supermarkets and food markets. It is very convenient to buy things. It is also close to the subway. The hotel is very clean, and the public bathrooms are also cleaned. There are two floors with ladies-only bathrooms. Because of the special period, there are few people staying in the store, so it is not crowded.
Everything here is perfect!
We booked it for a mini-moon right after our solemnisation and was greeted with warmth and surprises! They surprised us a bottle of champagne and a cake for the night!
The service crews were super friendly, thoughtful and always with a smile on! Everybody here was really attentive and the service provide were very guest focused.
The breakfast served was delicious and hearty. We were also served with evening cocktails that comes with light bites and unlimited cocktails to taste! The in room dining we ordered was great too! We could dine at the balcony and it was really romantic.
The overall environment here is serene and pleasant that allows you to recharge and relax. It made us felt like we are overseas in a resort.
A big shoutout and thank you to everyone at The Barracks Hotel for making our mini moon memorable and for all the warmth and hospitality during our stay here.
We love it and definitely returning back again! 💜
overall a really clean & neat hotel. i've been here for over 3 times. however this time, i didn't get a fridge in my room because all of the rooms with fridge are fully booked :(
The hotel location is particularly good, just outside the subway station.
There is a free breakfast, 7-11 downstairs, and eating is very convenient.
The outdoor swimming pool and terrace on the top floor of the hotel are not too comfortable, the night view is superb.
You can walk directly to Chinatown and Clarke Quay, next to Songfa Bak Kut Teh and Ya Kun, Hainan Chicken Rice, and everything is very convenient.
The only thing is that the room is really small and the boxes cannot be tiled on the floor. The bathroom is also small.
The lobby of the hotel lobby is super soft and comfortable! !! !! The day before I left, because I was still early for the departure time, I rested on the sofa for nearly 2 hours and fell asleep, but the sister at the front desk was not stunned. After I woke up, the sister asked me that I was too tired to play yesterday.
There are so many foreigners in the hotel and almost no Chinese are seen. The hotel staff is Malay, with an accent in English and no Chinese.
The hotel is very clean and tidy. Staff are very firendly polite. The cafe Lodge in the hotel have alot of variety of foods. Asian/Western/foods. A lot of nice promotions foods. I have a take away breadfast is very good. Miss Erica working the cafe. She is very friendly and helpful person. In ordering my food for take away. I bought a box of mooncake from the cafe. Is very nice taste and have alots of flavour.. The room inthe hotel is spacious and clean. Nice vacation in Ywca stay. Thank 😊 to the staffs and management.
This place has very, very good customer service which i must first commend in the first sentence of this review. I was there for 3 days and two nights and there was the same staff throughout my stay, day and night. But he was friendly, helpful and jovian. It actually seemed like he was the one who did absolutely everything in the hotel. Be aware that this hotel IS in the red light district of Singapore. My room was a single bed room, and the only single bed room in the already small hotel. It was unfortunately crawling with ants along the wall, a tile or two had chipped or fell off. The wall hiding behind the toilet door wasn't to die for either, the room didn't feel complete, but it was livable. I did get the opportunity to go into the other rooms, the double bed room and family room. Those were definitely more decent, they felt cleaner and were better maintained. They even had a cosy feel to them. It comes with breakfast in the vicinity's small kitchen. Don't expect a wide spread or a 4 star hotel breakfast, but it was pretty decent for it's standard. Bread, a fruit, protein (eggs, tuna or others), rice or porridge. There are plenty of food around the area, hawkers mostly. But there are three mrt stations within walking distance, and Paya Lebar Square is about 900m (12 - 18min walk) from the hotel. In all, it isn't a place for fussy stayers. But if you're pretty easy going, don't want to pay premium prices for an accommodation and get your own room and toilet, then one can definitely consider this place.
Little to what I know, there is no TV channels available in the room. Checked with reception, due to upgrading works, no channels are available. A little disappointed. As currently have to take away and dine in, there is no extra big bins to throw rubbish. Toilet is not equipped with bidets, so use toilet paper only.
What i like about here is the rain shower and shampoo is provided. Towel and toothbrush is provided too. Complimentary mini-bar for drinks and consumables. Aircon is cold enough to let me wanting to stay indoor than going outdoor. Bed is comfortable with 2 pillow. Location wise is close to any eateries. Middle of 3 MRT station (Bugis, Lavender, Nicoll Highway).
Definitely recommend for a stay. Most importantly, strong wifi. So no TV its okay. Too bad your home Chromecast doesn't work here.
Basic hotel. They upgraded us to the superior room. Unfortunately no chair in the room so can't really work on my laptop.
Room is relatively clean. However we had a couple of noisy neighbors talking very loudly, even up to 2am :(. Hope they have people checking on guests to keep noise down
I think I am the most objective evaluation:
1. Hotel location: too golden! You can walk to Outram Park subway station when you go out, wherever you go! The last train of the subway is around 11:30, and you can play until late (because the gate is the one-day bar street, the lights are bright, and it is safe)
2, the service is good, too late in the morning and check-in time, can also store luggage
3. Okay to say the disadvantages: The room is very small, the same size as Hong Kong, and the single room I booked can only sleep and bath, and it has a slight odor (I feel it is harmless, because I am Come alone to play, come out early and return late, just go back to sleep, and the price is more than 350, there is no need for it, the youth hostel has 150 beds, this is a good single room!
4. Suggestion: Only suitable for one person or same-sex friends to play and live!
If you are a couple, it's better to live!
Come out alone and really recommend five stars! There is everything nearby, the traffic is too convenient, and it is quick to go to Sentosa. I walk around and feel that the surrounding Bugis MRT station is particularly lively. I eat a lot and recommend it!
Staff at front desk and cleaning were generally friendly and helpful during check in and out. Meals are provided for by kith at ground level. Layout of hotel takes getting used to due to the “flooring”. Check in is on level 2, strangely level 1 brings you nowhere near Taka SC or paragon malls and the connected car park to the lobby is level 4 with a very non-descript and old metal door for access. Somehow car park level P4 connects to hotel level 2. There is no complimentary parking or hotel parking either except with a fixed amount voucher that will provide exit but you need to estimate the cost compared to the current parking rate and purchase separately at front desk (22 Bideford Rd). Room itself is big enough for a deluxe (2+1 9yo child) with the living area and kitchenette. Shower drainage was clogged on the first night leading to ponding of 3 inches of water while showering. However this was rectified within the day of giving feedback to front desk. Some areas like carpet had unidentifiable dried orange stains from previous and the blinds in the toilet had mould stains on them. The toilet bin was horrible really small and hard to press down to use. The bathrobe was quite worn and had a partially torn left pocket. May I recommend that these be looked into by housekeeping and facilities departments considering this is a five and not four star residence. Floor was also slightly dusty and there was some hair on the floor as well after cleaning. Beds and sofa and chairs appeared clean enough at first sight and use but was expecting much higher degree of cleanliness for this room and the price I paid. Believe me it wasn’t half bad definitely it’s still higher end and definitely liveable over the 3D2N but cleanliness standard was somewhat lower than what I’d expect from an Ascott. Food is readily available at the malls nearby however last order for rm dining service at kith is currently 930pm. Extra service charge is charged for delivery inside the unit compared to call and self collected method which is unusual but I guess it’s to prevent overloading the two front staff manned kith.
Had a night stay at Artiste Suite. Location is good.
Cleanliness can be improved. There were dusts on the pantry area, on the wireless/bluetooth/radio on the table bedside, and at the toilet underneath the mirror.
The television is a smart tv, but was not able to connect to the Internet. It needs a LAN cable or some usb for wireless. Called the reception and was informed it was not a smart tv. So be prepared there's no netflix or prime videos nor YouTube. A tad disappointed but that means I also enjoyed quality time resting both on the bed and in the bathtub, enjoying the view, having both dinner and breakfast at the balcony.
The overall experience from level 1 to level 6 where artiste room is located was good. The room offers privacy which was awesome.
Since the room comes with an outdoor balcony, be prepared to have lizards coming by.
Overall, it was an awesome experience.
Location wise is very convenient. Bus stops everywhere, clarke quay and funan mall nearby and most importantly, for all the supper freaks, there are 7-11 nearby and also restaurants.
Cleanliness was super bad. The remote controls, table, counter, sink, cups and spoons were so dusty. I can swipe in one finger and accumulate all the dust. The carpet had a huge stain near the fridge and a funky smell. The fridge was musty and dirty but bed is super clean. I guess it has been long since someone used that room but I expected it to be clean as it is a standard procedure for Housekeepers to clean up the rook before guests checks in.
For service, it was neutral. Did what I requested and gave me an expected service but did not exceed my expectations. I requested to check out 2 hours later and they did manage to extend the check out. However, on the last day of our stay, we got locked out of the door because the staff forgot to change the system on the door. So our time was delayed. Lastly, after checking out, there was no closure of service from any of the staff so we just left.
For amenities, there were no towels in the toilet and the TV couldn’t airplay/ mirror screen to my phone even though the feature was available on the TV. TV channels was super slow. Other than that, everything was provided.
Conveniently located. Near bus stops and mrt station.
My children loved the bunk bed setup and the complimentary snacks.
Slightly lack of amenities like no tissue paper (there is toilet paper) and no conditioner and tiny bathroom. But it is good enough for a short stay.
The hotel location is very near to bugis junction and it is quite cosy, cleanliness is okay but the sink have some leaking issues and the water heater only heat up for a few seconds. But the cleaner auntie is very nice and i would recommend to anyone who wanna stay!
Booked last minute. Was expecting a bathtub but the room did not have one but I supposed it was because we booked so late in the night.
Very spacious and comfortable. Aircon is really really cold and the tv have good number of movies and channels to watch. Shower area is big enough for two.
Called for late check out and was granted. We love the breakfast. We have to make our way down and we can choose whatever we want to eat. Staff are all helpful, nice and friendly. Would definitely come back again.
Its very nice and have big bed room its good for money. Down step the hotel have eating house very convenient. Its Also near to like orchard road and other Shopping ctr too. And the room price is very enconomical. Pls call up the hotel and ask more.
Singapore Changi Airport Region
The hotel is clean and room was spacious for a solo staycation. I really like how the room has a kitchenette furnished with a microwave, induction cooker and mini fridge! You can readily buy your ingredients at the supermarket next door for your meals. Although hotel location may not be in town, it’s good for travellers who want to be away from the hustle and bustle. You can take a bus to Changi beach or visit the mall just next to the hotel.
The downsides I feel were firstly, that my room was facing an office building and for privacy, I had to close my curtains at all time. Secondly, the TV has no Netflix/YouTube so have to bring your cables. You can loan a HDMI cable from the concierge but they only have limited sets, didn’t manage to secure one :( thirdly, while there is a chatbot to make requests, it does not understand some of the requests (eg: HDMI cable). Called the reception thrice and nobody picked up so had to go down to the concierge to request.
Overall, it was a fairly good and enjoyable stay. :)
Small yet cosy industrial-chic hotel. The bed's comfortable and the room is clean. Our room's toilet drain was clogged thus it caused a little flooding but we made do with it and informed the Front Desk only upon checkout. The Guest Services Officer acknowledged the issue and quickly arranged for a technician to rectify it. Service has been great overall. Thank you, Hotel Yan 👍🏻☺️
I've been to this hotel several times. The customer service is usually good. I extended my stay and moved to Cabin M. But I had a very unpleasant experience this time round with the live chat officer Claude. I understand that late check out is based on availability. But Claude was being unreasonable, telling me that the hotel is fully booked when the room I stayed in was still available on trip app. He also said there is no late check out on Sundays but I usually get complimentary check out atleast till 12.30 on my previous stays on a Sunday before. Extremely disappointing and thus I've to give 1 star for the service where I usually give a 5.
Well located, really nice staff for everything, including informations. Bed was comfortable, good shower, breakfast simple but ok. The 2 biggest problems are the travellers who don't respect the sharing room after 23h00 (need a corfu or to be advise) and the room on the street side with a restaurant open 24/24, are to to noisy. You just get little sleep. Coming from Airport, with MRT get off at Jelan Besar exit B, turn right, walk to Dickson Road. To take the bus via Malaysia, walk via Jelan Besar, turn left and right on Weld Road, it will be on your right (3.5MYR)
Always had a good stay at Conforto Hotel but this time round, it wasn't tat👍.. The tv was not working as it had no signal.. The bed was kinda noisy as i toss and turn.. The hotel should change the bed as it seems kinda fragile..
Miss the Chinese lady who used to work there.. She was very helpful whenever i asked to change room.
